In this research, diamond-like carbon (DLC) thin films were deposited on silicon substrates by radio-frequency plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition method using gas mixture of CH4 and Ar. The effect of different CH4/Ar gas ratio on the structure, refractive index, transmission and hardness of the DLC thin films were investigated by means of Raman spectroscopy, ellipsometry, Fourier transform Infrared Spectroscopy and nano-indentation methods, respectively. Nuclear resonant reaction analysis was used to measure the amount of hydrogen and carbon in the thin films. Furthermore, wettability of the thin films was achieved by measuring of water contact angle (WCA). The results indicated that the structural properties of the diamond-like carbon thin films are strongly dependent on the composition of gas mixture. Based on ellipsometry results, refractive index of the thin films varied in the range of 1.89–2.06 at 550 nm. FTIR results determined that deposition of DLC thin films on silicon substrate led to an increase of the light transmission in IR region and these films have the potential to be used in silicon optics as the antireflective coatings in this region. Nano-indentation analysis showed that the thin films hardness changed in the range of 7.5–11 GPa. On the other hand hydrogen content and fraction of C?H bonds in the samples increased by an increase in the gas ratio of CH4/Ar. Also, WCA measurements indicated that WCA for thin films with gas ratio of 3/7 is the most and equal to 79°.  相似文献

Mixed‐matrix membranes (MMMs) of Matrimid® and polyaniline/clay (PC) are investigated for CO2/CH4 separation and CO2‐induced plasticization. PC particles are synthesized through in‐situ polymerization of aniline in the presence of organophilic clay and then incorporated into Matrimid by solution casting method. Chemical structure and morphology of PC powder and fabricated membranes are analyzed by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), X‐ray diffraction (XRD), differential scanning calorimetry/thermogravimetric analysis (DSC/TGA) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The XRD spectra of PC particles show the exfoliation of silicate layers throughout the polyaniline (PAni) matrix, and SEM images indicate flower‐petal morphology for PC particles. The permeability values of CO2 and CH4 increase 30–35% by incorporation of 10 wt% PC without any significant drop in selectivity. PC particles with flower‐petal morphology plays an important role in increasing the gas permeability values of both gases while Matrimid is the only phase that controls CO2/CH4 selectivity. The plasticization pressure was increased to 30 bar by incorporation of 10 wt% PC in the Matrimid matrix. CO2 permeability and pplast improved 35% and 200%, respectively, resulting in 300% enhancement in the capacity of MMM in the purification of natural gas with a selectivity of about 40. The essential oil obtained from the flowering parts of Anthemis altissima L. var. altissima was analysed by gas chromatography and gas chromatography mass spectroscopy. In this study, 34 compounds representing 98.76% of the essential oil were identified. The main components were α-terpineol (26.42%), β-pinene (9.23%), cis-chrysanthenyl acetate (6.30%), globulol (5.36%), n-tricosane (4.41%), terpinen-4-ol (4.08%) and 1,8 cineole (3.84%). Antibacterial activities of the essential oil and its two major components (α-terpineol and β-pinene) were determined using microdilution method against both Gram-positive (Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus epidermidis) and Gram-negative (Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella pneumoniae) bacteria. The essential oil showed a broad-spectrum antibacterial activity (MICs ranged from 3.13 to 6.25?μL?mL(-1)). It was found that α-terpineol with minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) values of the range 0.87-1.56?μL?mL(-1) was a more potent antibacterial agent than β-pinene with MIC values of the range 1.56-6.25?μL?mL(-1). All of them, the essential oil, β-pinene and α-terpineol, were more effective against Gram-positive bacteria than Gram-negative ones.  相似文献

Hamburgers with high nutrient supply and a loosely-packed structure present favourable conditions for microbial growth. In this study, the chemical composition and antimicrobial activity of the essential oil of Zataria multiflora and its potential application as a natural preservative in reducing the indigenous microbial population of hamburgers were investigated. Carvacrol, thymol and linalool were found to be the most abundant constituents of the essential oil using GC-MS analysis. The essential oil exhibited strong antibacterial activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Addition of Z. multiflora essential oil in concentrations higher than MIC values influenced the microbial population of hamburgers stored at 25°C, 4°C and -12°C. The significant results of this study are our observations that the use of Z. multiflora essential oil at 0.05% v/w increases the time needed for the natural microflora of hamburgers to reach concentrations able to produce a perceivable spoilage at refrigerator and room temperatures without any inverse effect on their sensory attributes. Freezing of essential oil-treated hamburgers may also reduce the risk of diseases associated with consumption of under-cooked hamburgers through significant microbial reduction by more than 3 log.  相似文献

A high-order algorithm of the direct simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) method, H-DSMC, has been developed to simulate rarefied flow regimes. The mth order Taylor series expansion has been employed to obtain a more generalized form of the time discretization for the collision part of Boltzmann equation. In the purposed algorithm, the higher order collision terms are introduced as well as higher order terms in the time step of the probabilistic coefficients. These newly implemented higher order terms improve the accuracy and efficiency of the solution and enhance the convergence rate quite significantly. Comparison between results of the classic DSMC method and the H-DSMC method shows the promising performance of the introduced technique.  相似文献

An ultra-preconcentration technique composed of solid-phase extraction (SPE) and dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction (DLLME) coupled with gas chromatography–flame photometric detection (GC–FPD) was used for determination of thirteen organophosphorus pesticides (OPPs) including phorate, diazinon, disolfotane, methyl parathion, sumithion, chlorpyrifos, malathion, fenthion, profenphose, ethion, phosalone, azinphose-methyl and co-ral in aqueous samples. The analytes were collected from large volumes of aqueous solutions (100 mL) into 100 mg of a SPE C18 sorbent. The effective variables of SPE including type and volume of elution solvent, volume and flow rate of sample solution, and salt concentration were investigated and optimized. Acetone was selected as eluent in SPE and disperser solvent in DLLME and chlorobenzene was used as extraction solvent. Under the optimal conditions, the enrichment factors were between 15,160 and 21,000 and extraction recoveries were 75.8–105.0%. The linear range was 1–10,000 ng L?1 and limits of detection (LODs) were between 0.2 and 1.5 ng L?1. The relative standard deviations (RSDs) for 50 ng L?1 of OPPs in water with and without an internal standard, were in the range of 1.4–7.9% (n = 5) and 4.0–11.6%, respectively. The relative recoveries of OPPs from well and farm water sat spiking levels of 25 and 250 ng L?1 were 88–109%.  相似文献

Diels-Alder reactions of cyclopentadiene with crotonolactone and beta-angelica lactone have been studied using ab initio methods at the MP3/6-31G//RHF/3-21G and MP2/6-31G//RHF/6-31G levels. The transition states corresponding to the formation of different stereoisomers and diastereoisomers have been located. The results obtained show that the correct endo/exo selectivity is only obtained when polarization functions are included in the basis set. However, syn/antiselectivity is correctly described at all levels of calculation.  相似文献

Analysis of the photomixtures resulting from irradiation of aqueous solutions of linoleic acid sensitized by tiaprofenic acid (TPA) or its major photoproduct (DTPA) by HPLC has shown the formation of all the four possible conjugated dienic hydroperoxides. According to laser flash photolysis experiments the rate constants for hydrogen abstraction from linoleic acid by the excited triplet states of TPA and DTPA are 2 x 10(5) and 3.2x 10(5) M(-1) s(-1), respectively. These data, together with the known rate constants for oxygen quenching of triplet (D)TPA and for the reaction of singlet oxygen with linoleic acid, show that the mechanism is mixed type I/type II. Finally, typical radical scavengers such as BHA and singlet oxygen quenchers such as DABCO and sodium azide are efficient quenchers of the triplet excited state of DTPA. This shows the risk of assigning mechanisms based on indirect 'evidences' using 'specific' additives.  相似文献
