Two new aminophosphines – furfuryl‐(N‐dicyclohexylphosphino)amine, [Cy2PNHCH2–C4H3O] ( 1 ) and thiophene‐(N‐dicyclohexylphosphino)amine, [Cy2PNHCH2–C4H3S] ( 2 ) – were prepared by the reaction of chlorodicyclohexylphosphine with furfurylamine and thiophene‐2‐methylamine. Reaction of the aminophosphines with [Ru(η6p‐cymene)(μ‐Cl)Cl]2 or [Ru(η6‐benzene)(μ‐Cl)Cl]2 gave corresponding complexes [Ru(Cy2PNHCH2–C4H3O)(η6p‐cymene)Cl2] ( 1a ), [Ru(Cy2PNHCH2–C4H3O)(η6‐benzene)Cl2] ( 1b ), [Ru(Cy2PNHCH2–C4H3S)(η6p‐cymene)Cl2] ( 2a ) and [Ru(Cy2PNHCH2–C4H3S)(η6‐benzene)Cl2] ( 2b ), respectively, which are suitable catalyst precursors for the transfer hydrogenation of ketones. In particular, [Ru(Cy2PNHCH2–C4H3S)(η6‐benzene)Cl2] acts as a good catalyst, giving the corresponding alcohols in 98–99% yield in 30 min at 82 °C (up to time of flight ≤ 588 h?1). In the present study, a series of chiral C2‐symmetric ferrocenyl based binuclear η6‐benzene‐Ru(II) complexes bearing diphenylphosphinite and diisopropylphosphinite moieties have been synthesised. The new binuclear η6‐benzene‐Ru(II)‐phosphinite complexes were characterised based on nuclear magnetic resonance (1H, 13C, 31P–NMR), FT‐IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. Then, these complexes have been screened as catalytic precursors in the transfer hydrogenation of acetophenone with 2‐propanol as both the hydrogen source and solvent in the presence of KOH. The corresponding optically active secondary alcohols were obtained in excellent conversion rates between 96 and 99% and moderate to good enantioselectivities (up to 78% ee). The complex 5 was the most efficient catalyst among the four new complexes investigated herein.  相似文献

Piano‐stool ([(p‐cymene)Ru(thz)Cl], 2 ) and six‐coordinated ([Ru(thz)2(PPh3)2], 3 ) ruthenium complexes derived from 2‐phenylthiazoline‐4‐carboxylic acid (Hthz, 1 ) were synthesized for the first time, and fully characterized using conventional methods. Also, the molecular structure of complex 3 was determined using X‐ray analysis. These complexes were evaluated as catalysts for transfer hydrogenation of carbonyl compounds in the presence of isopropyl alcohol and KOtBu. Complex 2 was found to be more active than 3 in transfer hydrogenation. Copyright © 2016 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Syntheses and Structures of Bis(4,4′‐t‐butyl‐2,2′‐bipyridine) Ruthenium(II) Complexes with functional Derivatives of Tetramethyl‐bibenzimidazole [(tbbpy)2RuCl2] reacts with dinitro‐tetramethylbibenzimidazole ( A ) in DMF to form the complex [(tbbpy)2Ru( A )](PF6)2 ( 1a ) (tbbpy: bis(4,4′‐t‐butyl)‐2,2′bipyridine). Exchange of the two PF6? anions by a mixture of tetrafluor‐terephthalat/tetrafluor‐terephthalic acid results in the formation of 1b in which an extended hydrogen‐bonded network is formed. According to the 1H NMR spectra and X‐ray analyses of both 1a and 1b , the two nitro groups of the bibenzimidazole ligand are situated at the periphery of the complex in cis position to each other. Reduction of the nitro groups in 1a with SnCl2/HCl results in the corresponding diamino complex 2 which is a useful starting product for further functionalization reactions. Substitution of the two amino groups in 2 by bromide or iodide via Sandmeyer reaction results in the crystalline complexes [(tbbpy)2Ru( C )](PF6)2 and [(tbbpy)2Ru( D )](PF6)2 ( C : dibromo‐tetrabibenzimidazole, D : diiodo‐tetrabibenzimidazole). Furthermore, 2 readily reacts with 4‐t‐butyl‐salicylaldehyde or pyridine‐2‐carbaldehyde under formation of the corresponding Schiff base RuII complexes 5 and 6 . 1H NMR spectra show that the substituents (NH2, Br, I, azomethines) in 2 ‐ 6 are also situated in peripheral positions, cis to each other. The solid state structure of both 2 , and 3 , determined by X‐ray analyses confirm this structure. In addition, the X‐ray diffraction analyses of single crystals of the complexes [(tri‐t‐butyl‐terpy)(Cl)Ru( A )] ( 7 ) and [( A )PtCl2] ( 8 ) display also that the nitro groups in these complexes are in a cis‐arrangement.  相似文献

The newfangled chiral aroylthiourea ligands (L1‐L6) were produced from unprotected D/L‐alanine and their water soluble Ru (II) organometallic catalysts ( 1 – 6 ) were designed from their reaction with [RuCl26p‐cymene)]2. The analytical and spectral methods were used to confirm the structure of the ligands and complexes. The solid state structure of L1, 5 and 6 was confirmed by single crystal XRD. The organometallic compounds ( 1 – 6 ) catalyzed the asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of aromatic, heteroaromatic and bulky ketones to yield respective enantiopure secondary alcohols with admirable conversions (up to 99%) and attractive enantiomeric excesses (ee up to 98%), in presence of formic acid and triethylamine in water medium under non‐inert atmospheric conditions.  相似文献

Neutral half‐sandwich η6p ‐cymene ruthenium(II) complexes of general formula [Ru(η6p ‐cymene)Cl(L)] (HL = monobasic O, N bidendate benzoylhydrazone ligand) have been synthesized from the reaction of [Ru(η6p ‐cymene)(μ‐Cl)Cl]2 with acetophenone benzoylhydrazone ligands. All the complexes have been characterized using analytical and spectroscopic (Fourier transform infrared, UV–visible, 1H NMR, 13C NMR) techniques. The molecular structures of three of the complexes have been determined using single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction, indicating a pseudo‐octahedral geometry around the ruthenium(II) ion. All the ruthenium(II) arene complexes were explored as catalysts for transfer hydrogenation of a wide range of aromatic, cyclic and aliphatic ketones with 2‐propanol using 0.1 mol% catalyst loading, and conversions of up to 100% were obtained. Further, the influence of other variables on the transfer hydrogenation reaction, such as base, temperature, catalyst loading and substrate scope, was also investigated.  相似文献

The trichloro‐bridged dinuclear RuII complex tri‐μ‐chloro‐bis{[1,1,1‐tris(diphenylphosphinomethyl)ethane‐κ3P,P′,P′′]ruthenium(II)} hexafluorophosphate ethanol solvate, [Ru2Cl3(tripod)2]PF6·C2H6O, containing the tripod [1,1,1‐tris(diphenylphosphinomethyl)ethane, C41H39P3] ligand, was unexpectedly obtained from the reaction of [RuIIICl3(tripod)] with 1,4‐bis(diphenylphosphino)butane (dppb), followed by precipitation with NH4PF6. The magnetic moment of the compound at room temperature indicates that the dinuclear [Ru2(μ‐Cl)3(tripod)2]+ cation is diamagnetic. A single‐crystal X‐ray structure determination revealed that the two Ru atoms are bridged by the three Cl atoms. The coordination sphere of each Ru atom is completed by the three P atoms of a tripod ligand. The two P3Ru units are exactly eclipsed, while the bridging Cl atoms are staggered with respect to the six P atoms. The Ru⋯Ru distance is 3.3997 (7) Å and the mean Cl—Ru—Cl bond angle is 77.7°.  相似文献

The complex cis‐[RuCl(DMSO)(phen)2]BPh4, where DMSO is dimethylsulfoxide and phen is 1, 10‐phenanthroline, crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/c with a = 19.505(4), b = 10.045(2), c = 21.199(4) Å, β = 90.137(4)°, V = 4153(2) Å3, Z = 4, Dcalc = 1.430 g cm—3. The ruthenium coordination geometry is that of a slightly distorted octahedron with a cis‐RuN4ClS arrangement of the ligand donor atoms. The Ru—Cl distance is 2.421(1) Å and the Ru—S distance 2.250(2) Å. The four Ru—N distances are 2.057(6), 2.066(4), 2.073(4), and 2.086(4) Å with the Ru—N bond trans to Cl the second shortest and the Ru—N bond trans to S the longest one.  相似文献

Two novel chiral well‐defined rhodium complexes, Rh(cod)(L‐Phe) (cod = 1,5‐cyclooctadiene, Phe = phenylalanine) and Rh(cod)(L‐Val) (Val = valine) were synthesized, isolated by recrystallization, and characterized. The helix‐sense‐selective polymerization (HSSP) of an achiral 3,4,5‐trisubstituted phenylacetylene, p‐dodecyloxy‐m,m‐dihydroxyphenylacetylene (DoDHPA) was examined by using the two Rh complexes as catalysts. These catalysts provided high molecular weight polymers (Mw 28 × 104?45 × 104) in about 40%–85% yields. The resulting polymers exhibited a bisignated CD signal at about 300 nm and a broad signal around 470 nm, indicating that they have preferential one‐handed helical structure. The present catalysts achieved larger molar ellipticity up to [θ]310 = 13.0 × 104 deg cm2/dmol than those with binary chiral catalytic systems, [Rh(cod)Cl]2/(L‐phenylalaninol), [Rh(cod)Cl]2/(L‐valinol), and [Rh(nbd)Cl]2/(R)‐PEA. All these results manifest that the present, well‐defined Rh complexes serve as excellent catalysts for the HSSP of DoDHPA. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. Polym. Sci., Part A: Polym. Two (ONO pincer)ruthenium‐complex‐bound norvalines, Boc?[Ru(pydc)(terpy)]Nva?OMe ( 1 ; Boc=tert‐butyloxycarbonyl, terpy=terpyridyl, Nva=norvaline) and Boc?[Ru(pydc)(tBu‐terpy)]Nva?OMe ( 5 ), were successfully synthesized and their molecular structures and absolute configurations were unequivocally determined by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The robustness of the pincer Ru complexes and norvaline scaffolds against acidic/basic, oxidizing, and high‐temperature conditions enabled us to perform selective transformations of the N‐Boc and C?OMe termini into various functional groups, such as alkyl amide, alkyl urea, and polyether groups, without the loss of the Ru center or enantiomeric purity. The resulting dialkylated Ru‐bound norvaline, n‐C11H23CO?l ‐[Ru(pydc)(terpy)]Nva?NH‐n‐C11H23 (l ‐ 4 ) was found to have excellent self‐assembly properties in organic solvents, thereby affording the corresponding supramolecular gels. Ru‐bound norvaline l ‐ 1 exhibited a higher catalytic activity for the oxidation of alcohols by H2O2 than parent complex [Ru(pydc)(terpy)] ( 11 a ).  相似文献

Dyad molecules containing the 2,3,5,6‐tetrakis(2‐pyridyl)pyrazine (tppz) ligand with general formula [(tpy)Ru(μ‐tppz)Ru(X)(L‐L)]n+ (X=Cl, CF3COO, or H2O; L‐L=2,2′‐bipyridine (bpy) or 3,5‐bis(2‐pyridyl)pyrazole (Hbpp); tpy=2,2′:6′,2“‐terpyridine) have been prepared, purified, and isolated. The complexes have been characterized by analytical and spectroscopic techniques and by X‐ray diffraction analysis for two of them. Additionally, full electrochemical characterization based on cyclic voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry, and square wave voltammetry has been also performed. The pH dependence of the redox couples for the aqua complexes have also been studied and their corresponding Pourbaix diagrams drawn. Furthermore, their capacity to catalytically oxidize organic substrates, such as alcohols, alkenes, and sulfides, has been carried out chemically, electrochemically, and photochemically. Finally, their capacity to behave as water oxidation catalysts has also been tested.  相似文献

A kind of N‐substituted maleimide (RMI), chiral (S)‐N‐maleoyl‐L ‐leucine propargyl ester ((S)‐PLMI) with a specific rotation of [α]435 = ?27.5° was successfully synthesized from maleic anhydride, L ‐leucine, and propargyl alcohol. (S)‐PLMI was polymerized by three polymerization methods to obtain the corresponding optically active polymers. Asymmetric anionic, radical, and transition‐metal‐catalyzed polymerizations were carried out using organometal/chiral ligands, 2,2′‐azobisisobutyronitrile (AIBN) and (bicyclo [2,2,1]hepta‐2,5‐diene) chloro rhodium (I) dimer ([Rh(nbd) Cl]2), respectively. Poly((S)‐PLMI) obtained by [Rh(nbd)Cl]2 in DMF showed the highest specific rotation of ?280.6°. Chiroptical properties and structures of the polymers obtained were investigated by GPC, CD, IR, and NMR measurements. Two types of poly((S)‐PLMI)‐bonded‐silica gels as the chiral stationary phase (CSP) were prepared for high‐performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Their optical resolution abilities were also elucidated. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Polym Sci Part A: Polym Chem 45: 3722–3738, 2007  相似文献

The 1,3‐dipolar cycloaddition reactions of 2‐diazocyclohexane‐1,3‐dione ( 7a ; Table 1) and of alkyl diazopyruvates ( 11a – e ; Table 3) to 2,3‐dihydrofuran and other enol ethers have been investigated in the presence of chiral transition metal catalysts. With RhII catalysts, the cycloadditions were not enantioselective, but those catalyzed by [RuIICl2( 1a )] and [RuIICl2( 1b )] proceeded with enantioselectivities of up to 58% and 74% ee, respectively, when diazopyruvates 11 were used as substrates. The phenyliodonium ylide 7c yielded the adduct 8a in lower yield and poorer selectivity than the corresponding diazo precursor 7a (Table 2) upon decomposition with [Ru(pybox)] catalysts. This suggests that ylide decomposition by RuII catalysts, contrary to that of the corresponding diazo precursors, does not lead to Ru‐carbene complexes as reactive intermediates. Our method represents the first reproducible, enantioselective 1,3‐cycloaddition of these types of substrates.  相似文献

Two novel chiral ruthenium(II) complexes, Δ‐[Ru(bpy)2(dmppd)]2+ and Λ‐[Ru(bpy)2(dmppd)]2+ (dmppd = 10,12‐dimethylpteridino[6,7‐f] [1,10]phenanthroline‐11,13(10H,12H)‐dione, bpy = 2,2′‐bipyridine), were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, 1H‐NMR and ES‐MS. The DNA‐binding behaviors of both complexes were studied by UV/VIS absorption titration, competitive binding experiments, viscosity measurements, thermal DNA denaturation, and circular‐dichroism spectra. The results indicate that both chiral complexes bind to calf‐thymus DNA in an intercalative mode, and the Δ enantiomer shows larger DNA affinity than the Λ enantiomer does. Theoretical‐calculation studies for the DNA‐binding behaviors of these complexes were carried out by the density‐functional‐theory method. The mechanism involved in the regulating and controlling of the DNA‐binding abilities of the complexes was further explored by the comparative studies of [Ru(bpy)2(dmppd)]2+ and of its parent complex [Ru(bpy)2(ppd)]2+ (ppd = pteridino[6,7‐f] [1,10]phenanthroline‐11,13 (10H,12H)‐dione).  相似文献

New hexa‐coordinated binuclear Ru(III) Schiff base complexes of the type {[(B)2X2Ru]2L} (where B = PPh3 or AsPh3; X = Cl or Br; L = binucleating N2O2 Schiff bases) were synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, magnetic susceptibility measurement, FT‐IR, UV–vis, 13C{1H}‐NMR, ESR at 300 and 77 K, cyclic voltammetric technique, powder X‐ray diffraction pattern and SEM. The new complexes were used as catalysts in phenyl–phenyl coupling reaction and the oxidation of alcohols to their corresponding carbonyl compounds using molecular oxygen atmosphere at room temperature. Further, the new Schiff base ligands and their Ru(III) complexes were also screened for their antibacterial activity against K. pneumoniae, Shigella sp., M. luteus, E. coli and S. typhi. From this study, it was found that the activity of the ruthenium(III) Schiff base complexes almost reaches the effectiveness of the conventional bacteriocide standards. The rhodium(I) complexes trans‐[Rh(diphos)(CO)Cl] 7 (diphos=pbpb), 8 (diphos=nbpb), and 9 (diphos=cbpb) were synthesized (Scheme 4) and used as catalysts for the carbonylation of MeOH to AcOH (Scheme 1). The trans coordination imposed by the rigid C‐spacer framework of the diphos ligands pbpb, nbpb, and cbpb, demonstrated by 31P‐NMR and IR spectroscopy of 7 – 9 and unambiguously confirmed by single‐crystal X‐ray structure analysis of 7 , improved the thermal stability of the rhodium(I) system under carbonylation conditions and, hence, the catalytic performance of the complexes. For the catalytic carbonylation of MeOH, the active catalyst could be prepared in situ from the mixture of [Rh(CO)2Cl]2 and the corresponding diphos ligand pbpb, nbpb, or cbpb, giving the same results as carbonylation in the presence of the isolated complexes 7, 8 or 9 (see Table). The highest activity was observed for complex 7 (or the mixture [Rh(CO)2Cl]2/pbpb, the catalytic turnover number (TON) being 950 after 15 min (170°, 22 bar).  相似文献

Thermoregulated phase‐transfer catalysis for the transfer hydrogenation of 2‐octanone in 2‐propanol/H2O biphasic media was achieved with ruthenium‐bearing microgel‐core star polymers with amphiphilic, thermosensitive poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) arms [Ru(II)‐PEG star], which were directly prepared by the ruthenium‐catalyzed living radical polymerization in conjunction with a phosphine ligand‐carrying styrene derivative. The star polymers were first placed in the aqueous (lower) layer at room temperature and immediately moved into the organic (upper) layer at 100 °C, and once again, moved down to the aqueous layer (lower) upon cooling the solution to room temperature. The Ru(II)‐PEG star catalyst was clearly superior to the original Ru(II) catalyst and related non‐microgel catalysts [Ru(II)‐PEG block] in terms of activity and recovery/recycle, due to the unique designer structure of the microgel‐core star polymers. Other substrates (less hydrophobic alkyl ketones and aromatic ketone) were also efficiently hydrogenated into the corresponding sec‐alcohols with the star catalyst in aqueous media. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A new class of half‐sandwich (η6p‐cymene) ruthenium(II) complexes supported by 2‐aminofluorene derivatives [Ru(η6p‐cymene)(Cl)(L)] ( L  = 2‐(((9H‐fluoren‐2‐yl)imino)methyl)phenol ( L 1 ), 2‐(((9H‐fluoren‐2‐yl)imino)methyl)‐3‐methoxyphenol ( L 2 ), 1‐(((9H‐fluoren‐2‐yl)imino)methyl)naphthalene‐2‐ol ( L 3 ) and N‐((1H‐pyrrol‐2‐yl)methylene)‐9H‐fluorene‐2‐amine ( L 4 )) were synthesized. All compounds were fully characterized by analytical and spectroscopic techniques (IR, UV–Vis, NMR) and also by mass spectrometry. The solid state molecular structures of the complexes [Ru(η6p‐cymene)(Cl)(L2)], [Ru(η6p‐cymene)(Cl)(L3)] and [Ru(η6p‐cymene)(Cl)(L4)] revealed that the 2‐aminofluorene and p‐cymene moieties coordinate to ruthenium(II) in a three‐legged piano‐stool geometry. The synthesized complexes were used as catalysts for the dehydrogenative coupling of benzyl alcohol with a range of amines (aliphatic, aromatic and heterocyclic). The reactions were carried out under thermal heating, ultrasound and microwave assistance, using solvent or solvent free conditions, and the catalytic performance was optimized regarding the solvent, the type of base, the catalyst loading and the temperature. Moderately high to very high isolated yields were obtained using [Ru(η6p‐cymene)(Cl)(L4)] at 1 mol%. In general, microwave irradiation produced better yields than the other two techniques irrespective of the nature of the substituents.  相似文献

The complex cis‐[RuIII(dmbpy)2Cl2](PF6) ( 2 ) (dmbpy = 4, 4′‐dimethyl‐2, 2′‐bipyridine) was obtained from the reaction of cis‐[RuII(dmbpy)2Cl2] ( 1 ) with ammonium cerium(IV) nitrate followed by precipitation with saturated ammonium hexafluoridophosphate. The 1H NMR spectrum of the RuIII complex confirms the presence of paramagnetic metal atoms, whereas that of the RuII complex displays diamagnetism. The 31P NMR spectrum of the RuIII complex shows one signal for the phosphorus atom of the PF6 ion. The perspective view of each [RuII/III(dmbpy)2Cl2]0/+ unit manifests that the ruthenium atom is in hexacoordinate arrangement with two dmbpy ligands and two chlorido ligands in cis position. As the oxidation state of the central ruthenium metal atom becomes higher, the average Ru–Cl bond length decreases whereas the Ru–N (dmbpy) bond length increases. The cis‐positioned dichloro angle in RuIII is 1.3° wider than that in the RuII. The dihedral angles between pair of planar six‐membered pyridyl ring in the dmbpy ligand for the RuII are 4.7(5)° and 5.7(4)°. The observed inter‐planar angle between two dmbpy ligands in the RuII is 89.08(15)°, whereas the value for the RuIII is 85.46(20)°.  相似文献
