1H, 13C and 15N NMR studies of gold(III), palladium(II) and platinum(II) chloride complexes with dimethylpyridines (lutidines: 2,3‐lutidine, 2,3lut; 2,4‐lutidine, 2,4lut; 3,5‐lutidine, 3,5lut; 2,6‐lutidine, 2,6lut) and 2,4,6‐trimethylpyridine (2,4,6‐collidine, 2,4,6col) having general formulae [AuLCl3], trans‐[PdL2Cl2] and trans‐/cis‐[PtL2Cl2] were performed and the respective chemical shifts (δ1H, δ13C, δ15N) reported. The deshielding of protons and carbons, as well as the shielding of nitrogens was observed. The 1H, 13C and 15N NMR coordination shifts (Δ1Hcoord, Δ13Ccoord, Δ15Ncoord; Δcoord = δcomplex ? δligand) were discussed in relation to some structural features of the title complexes, such as the type of the central atom [Au(III), Pd(II), Pt(II)], geometry (trans‐ or cis‐), metal‐nitrogen bond lengths and the position of both methyl groups in the pyridine ring system. (1)H, (13)C, (195)Pt and (15)N NMR studies of platinide(II) (M = Pd, Pt) chloride complexes with such alkyl and aryl derivatives of 2,2'-bipyridine and 1,10-phenanthroline as LL = 6,6'-dimethyl-bpy, 5,5'-dimethyl-bpy, 4,4'-di-tert-butyl-bpy, 2,9-dimethyl-phen, 2,9-dimethyl-4,7-diphenyl-phen, 3,4,7,8-tetramethyl-phen, having the general [M(LL)Cl(2)] formula were performed and the respective chemical shifts (δ(1H), δ(13C), δ(195Pt), δ(15N)) reported. (1)H high-frequency coordination shifts (Δ(coord)(1H) = δ(complex)(1H)-δ(ligand)(1H)) mostly pronounced for nitrogen-adjacent protons and methyl groups in the nearest adjacency of nitrogen, as well as (15)N low-frequency coordination shifts (Δ(coord)(15H) = δ(complex)(15H)-δ(ligand)(15H)) were discussed in relation to the molecular structures.  相似文献

1H, 13C and 15N NMR studies of gold(III), palladium(II) and platinum(II) chloride complexes with picolines, [Au(PIC)Cl3], trans‐[Pd(PIC)2Cl2], trans/cis‐[Pt(PIC)2Cl2] and [Pt(PIC)4]Cl2, were performed. After complexation, the 1H and 13C signals were shifted to higher frequency, whereas the 15N ones to lower (by ca 80–110 ppm), with respect to the free ligands. The 15N shielding phenomenon was enhanced in the series [Au(PIC)Cl3] < trans‐[Pd(PIC)2Cl2] < cis‐[Pt(PIC)2Cl2] < trans‐[Pt(PIC)2Cl2]; it increased following the Pd(II) → Pt(II) replacement, but decreased upon the transcis‐transition. Experimental 1H, 13C and 15N NMR chemical shifts were compared to those quantum‐chemically calculated by B3LYP/LanL2DZ + 6‐31G**//B3LYP/LanL2DZ + 6‐31G*. Unsymmetrical, dialkyl‐substituted N,N‐dialkyl‐N‐acyl(aroyl)thioureas show E,Z configurational isomerism at room temperature in solution, which is also expressed in the existence of cis‐[Pt(ZZ‐L‐S,O)2], cis‐[Pt(EZ‐L‐S,O)2] and cis‐[Pt(EE‐L‐S,O)2] complexes derived from these ligands. These configurational isomers were assigned by means of a double magnetization transfer 1H/13C/195Pt correlation NMR experiment, despite the fact that the long‐range 5J(195Pt, 1H) and 4J(195Pt, 13C) scalar couplings are not directly observable in their 1H and 13C spectra at high field. Depending on the ligand structure, the relative amounts of cis‐[Pt(ZZ‐L‐S,O)2], cis‐[Pt(EZ‐L‐S,O)2] and cis‐[Pt(EE‐L‐S,O)2] complexes are in the ranges 40–42% ZZ, 46–47% ZE and 12–13% EE. The cis‐bis[N‐methyl‐N‐(tert‐butyl)‐N‐(2,2‐dimethylpropanoyl)thioureato]platinum(II) complex is found to occur exclusively as the ZZ isomer. Copyright © 2003 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Synthesis, Crystal Structures, and Vibrational Spectra of [Pt(N3)6]2– and [Pt(N3)Cl5]2–, 195Pt and 15N NMR Spectra of [Pt(N3)nCl6–n]2– and [Pt(15NN2)n(N215N)6–n]2–, n = 0–6 By ligand exchange of [PtCl6]2– with sodium azide mixed complexes of the series [Pt(N3)nCl6–n]2– and with 15N‐labelled sodium azide (Na15NN2) mixtures of the isotopomeres [Pt(15NN2)n(N215N)6–n]2–, n = 0–6 and the pair [Pt(15NN2)Cl5]2–/[Pt(N215N)Cl5]2– are formed. X‐ray structure determinations on single crystals of (Ph4P)2[Pt(N3)6] ( 1 ) (triclinic, space group P1, a = 10.175(1), b = 10.516(1), c = 12.380(2) Å, α = 87.822(9), β = 73.822(9), γ = 67.987(8)°, Z = 1) and (Ph4As)2[Pt(N3)Cl5] · HCON(CH3)2 ( 2 ) (triclinic, space group P1, a = 10.068(2), b = 11.001(2), c = 23.658(5) Å, α = 101.196(14), β = 93.977(15), γ = 101.484(13)°, Z = 2) have been performed. The bond lengths are Pt–N = 2.088 ( 1 ), 2.105 ( 2 ) and Pt–Cl = 2.318 Å ( 2 ). The approximate linear azido ligands with Nα–Nβ–Nγ‐angles = 173.5–174.6° are bonded with Pt–Nα–Nβ‐angles = 116.4–121.0°. In the vibrational spectra the PtCl stretching vibrations of (n‐Bu4N)2[Pt(N3)Cl5] are observed at 318–345, the PtN stretching modes of (n‐Bu4N)2[Pt(N3)6] at 401–428 and of (n‐Bu4N)2[Pt(N3)Cl5] at 408–413 cm–1. The mixtures (n‐Bu4N)2[Pt(15NN2)n(N215N)6–n], n = 0–6 and (n‐Bu4N)2[Pt(15NN2)Cl5]/(n‐Bu4N)2[Pt(N215N)Cl5] exhibit 15N‐isotopic shifts up to 20 cm–1. Based on the molecular parameters of the X‐ray determinations the vibrational spectra are assigned by normal coordinate analysis. The average valence force constants are fd(PtCl) = 1.93, fd(PtNα) = 2.38 and fd(NαNβ, NβNγ) = 12.39 mdyn/Å. In the 195Pt NMR spectrum of [Pt(N3)nCl6–n]2–, n = 0–6 downfield shifts with the increasing number of azido ligands are observed in the range 4766–5067 ppm. The 15N NMR spectrum of (n‐Bu4N)2[Pt(15NN2)n(N215N)6–n], n = 0–6 exhibits by 15N–195Pt coupling a pseudotriplett at –307.5 ppm. Due to the isotopomeres n = 0–5 for terminal 15N six well‐resolved signals with distances of 0.03 ppm are observed in the low field region at –201 to –199 ppm.  相似文献

The crystal and molecular structure of potassium aquapentachloroiridate(III) (K2[Ir(H2O)Cl5]) was reported. The [Ir(H2O)Cl5]2− anions are nearly octahedral, the axial Ir–Cl bond (2.322(2) Å) being shorter than the equatorial ones (2.346(2)–2.360(2) Å); the Ir–O bond length is 2.090(4) Å. Ir(III) chloride complexes with 2,2′-bipyridine (LL = bpy) or 1,10-phenanthroline (LL = phen), of the general formulae K[Ir(LL)Cl4] and cis-[Ir(LL)2Cl2]Cl, were studied by far-IR and 1H–13C, 1H–15N HMBC/HMQC/HSQC–NMR. High-frequency 1H NMR coordination shifts (Δ1Hcoord = δ1Hcomplex − δ1Hligand; max. ca. +1 ppm) were noted for [Ir(LL)Cl4] anions, while for cis-[Ir(LL)2Cl2]+ cations they had variable sign and magnitude (max. ca. ±1 ppm); they were dependent on the proton position, being mostly expressed for the nitrogen-adjacent hydrogens (H(6) for bpy, H(2) for phen). 13C NMR signals were high-frequency shifted (by max. ca. 8 ppm), whereas all 15N nuclei were shifted to the lower frequency (by ca. 105–120 ppm). The experimental 1H, 13C, 15N NMR chemical shifts were reproduced by semi-empirical quantum-chemical calculations (B3LYP/LanL2DZ+6-31G**//B3LYP/LanL2DZ+6-31G*).  相似文献

Tetramethyldivinyldisilazane‐(triphenylphosphine)platinum(0) was prepared, characterized in solid state by X‐ray crystallography and in solution by multinuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (1H, 13C, 15N, 29Si, 31P and 195Pt NMR). Numerous signs of spin–spin coupling constants were determined by two‐dimensional heteronuclear shift correlations (HETCOR) and two‐dimensional 1H/1H COSY experiments. Isotope‐induced chemical shifts 1Δ12/13C(195Pt) were measured from 195Pt NMR spectra of the title compound as well as of other Pt(0), Pt(II) and Pt(IV) compounds for comparison. In contrast to other heavy nuclei such as 199Hg or 207Pb, the “normal” shifts of the heavy isotopomers to low frequencies are found, covering a range of >500 ppb. 1H, 13C, and 15N NMR studies of platinide(II) (M=Pd, Pt) chloride complexes with quinolines (L=quinoline-quin, or isoquinoline-isoquin; LL=2,2'-biquinoline-bquin), having the general formulae trans-/cis-[ML2Cl2] and [M(LL)Cl2], were performed and the respective chemical shifts (delta1H, delta13C, delta15N) reported. 1H coordination shifts of various signs and magnitudes (Delta1Hcoord=delta1Hcomplex-delta1Hligand) are discussed in relation to the changes of diamagnetic contribution to the relevant 1H shielding constants. The comparison to the literature data for similar complexes containing auxiliary ligands other than chlorides exhibited a large dependence of delta1H parameters on electron density variations and ring-current effects (inductive and anisotropic phenomena). The influence of deviations from planarity, concerning either MN2Cl2 chromophores or azine ring systems, revealed by the known X-ray structures of [Pd(bquin)Cl2] and [Pt(bquin)Cl2], is discussed in respect to 1H NMR spectra. 15N coordination shifts (Delta15Ncoord=delta15Ncomplex-delta15Nligand) of ca. 78-100 ppm (to lower frequency) are attributed mainly to the decrease of the absolute value of paramagnetic contribution in the relevant 15N shielding constants, this phenomenon being noticeably dependent on the type of a platinide metal and coordination sphere geometry. The absolute magnitude of Delta15Ncoord parameter increased by ca 15 ppm upon Pd(II)-->Pt(II) replacement but decreased by ca. 15 ppm following trans-->cis transition. Experimental 1H, 13C, 15N NMR chemical shifts are compared to those quantum-chemically calculated by B3LYP/LanL2DZ+6-31G**//B3LYP/LanL2DZ+6-31G*, both in vacuo and in CHCl3 or DMF solution.  相似文献

195Pt NMR chemical shifts of octahedral Pt(IV) complexes with general formula [Pt(NO3)n(OH)6 ? n]2?, [Pt(NO3)n(OH2)6 ? n]4 ? n (n = 1–6), and [Pt(NO3)6 ? n ? m(OH)m(OH2)n]?2 + n ? m formed by dissolution of platinic acid, H2[Pt(OH)6], in aqueous nitric acid solutions are calculated employing density functional theory methods. Particularly, the gauge‐including atomic orbitals (GIAO)‐PBE0/segmented all‐electron relativistically contracted–zeroth‐order regular approximation (SARC–ZORA)(Pt) ∪ 6–31G(d,p)(E)/Polarizable Continuum Model computational protocol performs the best. Excellent second‐order polynomial plots of δcalcd(195Pt) versus δexptl(195Pt) chemical shifts and δcalcd(195Pt) versus the natural atomic charge QPt are obtained. Despite of neglecting relativistic and spin orbit effects the good agreement of the calculated δ 195Pt chemical shifts with experimental values is probably because of the fact that the contribution of relativistic and spin orbit effects to computed σiso 195Pt magnetic shielding of Pt(IV) coordination compounds is effectively cancelled in the computed δ 195Pt chemical shifts, because the relativistic corrections are expected to be similar in the complexes and the proper reference standard used. To probe the counter‐ion effects on the 195Pt NMR chemical shifts of the anionic [Pt(NO3)n(OH)6 ? n]2? and cationic [Pt(NO3)n(OH2)6 ? n]4 ? n (n = 0–3) complexes we calculated the 195Pt NMR chemical shifts of the neutral (PyH)2[Pt(NO3)n(OH)6 ? n] (n = 1–6; PyH = pyridinium cation, C5H5NH+) and [Pt(NO3)n(H2O)6 ? n](NO3)4 ? n (n = 0–3) complexes. Counter‐anion effects are very important for the accurate prediction of the 195Pt NMR chemical shifts of the cationic [Pt(NO3)n(OH2)6 ? n]4 ? n complexes, while counter‐cation effects are less important for the anionic [Pt(NO3)n(OH)6 ? n]2? complexes. The simple computational protocol is easily implemented even by synthetic chemists in platinum coordination chemistry that dispose limited software availability, or locally existing routines and knowhow. Synthesis, Crystal Structure, Vibrational Spectra, and Normal Coordinate Analysis of (n‐Bu4N)2[PtX4(ox)], X = Cl, Br By oxidation of (n‐Bu4N)2[PtX2(ox)], X = Cl, Br, with Cl2 or Br2 in dichloromethane (n‐Bu4N)2[PtCl4(ox)] ( 1 ) and (n‐Bu4N)2[PtBr4(ox)] ( 2 ) are formed. The crystal structure of [(C5H5N)2CH2][PtCl4(ox)] (monoclinic, space group C2/m, a = 15.562(1), b = 13.779(1), c = 10.168(1)Å, ß = 128.099(9)°, Z = 4) reveals complex anions with nearly C2v point symmetry. The bond lengths in the Cl′‐Pt‐O˙ axes are Pt‐Cl′ = 2.287 and Pt‐O˙ = 2.048 and in the Cl‐Pt‐Cl axis Pt‐Cl = 2.314Å. The oxalato ligand is nearly plane with an O‐C‐C‐O torsion angle of 0.5°. In the vibrational spectra the PtX stretching vibrations are observed at 328 and 353 ( 1 ) and 201 and 212 cm—1 ( 2 ). The PtX′ modes appear at 360 and 343 ( 1 ) and 227 and 238 cm—1 ( 2 ). The PtO˙ stretching vibrations are coupled with internal modes of the oxalato ligands and appear in the range of 400—800 cm—1. Based on the molecular parameters of the X‐ray determination ( 1 ) and estimated data ( 2 ) the IR and Raman spectra are assigned by normal coordinate analysis. The valence force constants are fd(PtCl) = 2.08, fd(PtCl′) = 2.29, fd(PtBr) = 1.56, fd(PtBr′) = 2.02 and fd(PtO˙) = 2.46 ( 1 ) and 2.35 mdyn/Å ( 2 ). Taking into account increments of the trans influence a good agreement between observed and calculated frequencies is achieved. The NMR shifts are δ(195Pt) = 5623.0 ( 1 ) and 4536.1 ( 2 ).  相似文献

Seven new oligomeric complexes of 4,4′‐bipyridine; 3,3′‐bipyridine; benzene‐1,4‐diamine; benzene‐1,3‐diamine; benzene‐1,2‐diamine; and benzidine with rhodium tetraacetate, as well as 4,4′‐bipyridine with molybdenum tetraacetate, have been obtained and investigated by elemental analysis and solid‐state nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, 13C and 15N CPMAS NMR. The known complexes of pyrazine with rhodium tetrabenzoate, benzoquinone with rhodium tetrapivalate, 4,4′‐bipyridine with molybdenum tetrakistrifluoroacetate and the 1 : 1 complex of 2,2′‐bipyridine with rhodium tetraacetate exhibiting axial–equatorial ligation mode have been obtained as well for comparison purposes. Elemental analysis revealed 1 : 1 complex stoichiometry of all complexes. The 15N CPMAS NMR spectra of all new complexes consist of one narrow signal, indicating regular uniform structures. Benzidine forms a heterogeneous material, probably containing linear oligomers and products of further reactions. The complexes were characterized by the parameter complexation shift Δδ (Δδ = δcomplex ? δligand). This parameter ranged from around ?40 to ?90 ppm in the case of heteroaromatic ligands, from around ?12 to ?22 ppm for diamines and from ?16 to ?31 ppm for the complexes of molybdenum tetracarboxylates with 4,4′‐bipyridine. The experimental results have been supported by a density functional theory computation of 15N NMR chemical shifts and complexation shifts at the non‐relativistic Becke, three‐parameter, Perdew‐Wang 91/[6‐311++G(2d,p), Stuttgart] and GGA–PBE/QZ4P levels of theory and at the relativistic scalar and spin‐orbit zeroth order regular approximation/GGA–PBE/QZ4P level of theory. Nucleus‐independent chemical shifts have been calculated for the selected compounds. Copyright © 2015 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

Cyclometalated Pt (II) complexes [PtMe(C^N)(L)], in which C^N = deprotonated 2,2′‐bipyridine N‐oxide (Obpy), 1 , deprotonated 2‐phenylpyridine (ppy), 2 , deprotonated benzo [h] quinolone (bzq), 3 , and L = tricyclohexylphosphine (PCy3) were prepared and fully characterized. By treatment of 1–3 with excess MeI, the thermodynamically favored Pt (IV) complexes cis‐[PtMe2I(C^N)(PCy3)] (C^N = Obpy, 1a ; ppy, 2a ; and bzq, 3a ) were obtained as the major products in which the incoming methyl and iodine groups adopted cis positions relative to each other. All the complexes were characterized by means of NMR spectroscopy while the absolute configuration of 1a was further determined by X‐ray crystal structure analysis. The reaction of methyl iodide with 1–3 were kinetically explored using UV–vis spectroscopy. On the basis of the kinetic data together with the time‐resolved NMR investigation, it was established that the oxidative addition reaction occurred through the classical SN2 attack of Pt (II) center on the MeI reagent. Moreover, comparative kinetic studies demonstrated that the electronic and steric nature of either the cyclometalating ligands or the phosphine ligand influence the rate of reaction. Surprisingly, by extending the oxidative addition reaction time, very stable iodine‐bridged Pt (IV)‐Pt (IV) complexes [Pt2Me4(C^N)2(μ‐I)2] (C^N = Obpy, 1b ; ppy, 2b ; and bzq, 3b ) were obtained and isolated. In order to find a reasonable explanation for the observation, a DFT (density functional theory) computational analysis was undertaken and it was found that the results were consistent with the experimental findings.  相似文献

We report fast, high‐yield syntheses of a series of [Pt(CN)(HCN)X] complexes, where HCN is 2‐phenylpyridine (Hppy) or 2‐p‐tolylpyridine (Htopy) and X? is Cl?, Br?, I?, ONO2?, NO2? or SCN?. The structure of [Pt(topy)(Htopy)(ONO2)] was analyzed by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. Substitution of Cl? with Br? or I? in our complexes shifted the 195Pt NMR peaks upfield in the order Cl? < Br? < I?, but the magnitudes of their shifts were one‐tenth those observed for non‐cyclometalated platinum(II) complexes. As the two nitrato complexes showed strong emissions in acetonitrile solution—three to six times those of other complexes—they were used to fabricate OLEDs. Although their emissions were not particularly strong, devices fabricated with platinum(II) complexes containing bulky ligands emitted green light with a short lifetime (τ). There have been synthesized Pt(II) stereoisomeric complexes with hydroxy-α-amino acid serine (SerH = NH2CH(CH2OH)COOH is α-amino-β-hydroxypropionic acid): trans-[Pt(S-SerH)2Cl2], trans-[Pt(R-SerH)(S-SerH)Cl2] with monodentately (through NH2 group ) bound SerH and cis-, trans-[Pt(R-Ser)(S-Ser)], trans-[Pt(S-Ser)2] with bidentately bound (through groups NH2 and COO) ligands (R, S is the absolute configuration of asymmetric carbon atom). The successive phases in the synthesis of Pt(II) stereoisomeric complexes with serine were studied by 195Pt NMR spectroscopy. To identificate the compounds synthesized the method of elemental analysis, IR and NMR (195Pt, 13C, 1H) spectroscopy were used. For trans-[Pt(R-Ser)(S-Ser)] the X-ray diffraction data were obtained.  相似文献

The photophysical properties of transition metal complexes of the 5,6‐dimethyl‐2‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐1‐(pyridin‐2‐ylmethyl)‐1H‐benzimidazole ligand are of interest. Dichlorido[5,6‐dimethyl‐2‐(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐1‐(pyridin‐2‐ylmethyl)‐1H‐benzimidazole‐κ2N 2,N 3]platinum(II), [PtCl2(C20H18N4)], is luminescent in the solid state at room temperature. The compound displays a distorted square‐planar coordination geometry. The Pt—N(imidazole) bond length is shorter than the Pt—N(pyridine) bond length. The extended structure reveals that symmetry‐related molecules display weak C—H…N, C—H…Cl, and C—H…Pt hydrogen‐bonding interactions that are clearly discernable in the Hirshfeld surface and fingerprint plots. The intermolecular C—H…Pt and C—H…N interactions have been explored using density functional theory. The result of an analysis of the distance dependence of C—H…Pt yields a value consistent with that observed in the solid‐state structure. The energy of interaction for the C—H…Pt interaction is found to be about −11 kJ mol−1.  相似文献

1H, 13C and 15N NMR studies of platinide(II) (M=Pd, Pt) chloride complexes with methyl and phenyl derivatives of 2,2'-bipyridine and 1,10-phenanthroline [LL=4,4'-dimethyl-2,2'-bipyridine (dmbpy); 4,4'-diphenyl-2,2'-bipyridine (dpbpy); 4,7-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (dmphen); 4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthroline (dpphen)] having a general [M(LL)Cl2] formula were performed and the respective chemical shifts (delta1H, delta13C, delta15N) reported. 1H high-frequency coordination shifts (Delta1Hcoord=delta1Hcomplex-delta1Hligand) were discussed in relation to the changes of diamagnetic contribution in the relevant 1H shielding constants. The comparison to literature data for similar [M(LL)(XX)], [M(LL)X2] and [M(LL)XY] coordination or organometallic compounds containing various auxiliary ligands revealed a large dependence of delta1H parameters on inductive and anisotropic effects. 15N low-frequency coordination shifts (Delta15Ncoord=delta 15Ncomplex-delta15Nligand) of ca 88-96 ppm for M=Pd and ca 103-111 ppm for M=Pt were attributed to both the decrease of the absolute value of paramagnetic contribution and the increase of the diamagnetic term in the expression for 15N shielding constants. The absolute magnitude of Delta15Ncoord parameter increased by ca 15 ppm upon Pd(II)-->Pt(II) transition and by ca 6-7 ppm following dmbpy-->dmphen or dpbpy-->dpphen ligand replacement; variations between analogous complexes containing methyl and phenyl ligands (dmbpy vs dpbpy; dmphen vs dpphen) did not exceed+/-1.5 ppm. Experimental 1H, 13C, 15N NMR chemical shifts were compared to those quantum-chemically calculated by B3LYP/LanL2DZ+6-31G**//B3LYP/LanL2DZ+6-31G*, both in vacuo and in DMSO or DMF solution.  相似文献
