A series of mononuclear, octahedral first-row transition metal ion complexes mer-[M(II)L0(2)](PF6)2 containing the tridentate neutral ligand 2,6-bis[1-(4-methoxyphenylimino)ethyl]pyridine (L0) and a Mn(II), Fe(II), Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), or Zn(II) ion have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography. Cyclic voltammetry and controlled potential coulometry show that each dication (except those of Cu(II) and Zn(II)) can be reversibly one-electron-oxidized, yielding the respective trications [M(III)L0(2)]3+, and in addition, they can be reversibly reduced to the corresponding monocations [ML2]+ and the neutral species [ML2]0 by two successive one-electron processes. [MnL2]PF6 and [CoL2]PF6 have been isolated and characterized by X-ray crystallography; their electronic structures are described as [Mn(III)L1(2)]PF6 and [Co(I)L0(2)]PF6 where (L1)1- represents the one-electron-reduced radical form of L0. The electronic structures of the tri-, di-, and monocations and of the neutral species have been elucidated in detail by a combination of spectroscopies: UV-vis, NMR, X-band EPR, Mossbauer, temperature-dependent magnetochemistry. It is shown that pyridine-2,6-diimine ligands are noninnocent ligands that can be coordinated to transition metal ions as neutral L0 or, alternatively, as monoanionic radical (L1)1-. All trications are of the type [M(III)L0(2)]3+, and the dications are [M(II)L0(2)]2+. The monocations are described as [Mn(III)L1(2)]+ (S = 0), [Fe(II)L0L1]+ (S = 1/2), [Co(I)L0(2)]+ (S = 1), [Ni(I)L0(2)]+ (S = 1/2), [Cu(I)L0(2)]+ (S = 0), [Zn(II)L1L0]+ (S = 1/2) where the Mn(II) and Fe(II) ions are low-spin-configurated. The neutral species are described as [Mn(II)L1(2)]0, [Fe(II)L1(2)]0, [Co(I)L0L1]0, [Ni(I)L0L1]0, and [Zn(II)L1(2)]0; their electronic ground states have not been determined.  相似文献

The molecular structures of UO2(salophen)L (L = DMF, DMSO) and a uranyl-salophen complex without any unidentate ligands (L) in solid and solution were investigated using single-crystal X-ray analysis and IR, 1H NMR, and UV-visible absorption spectroscopies. As a result, it was found that the uranyl-salophen complex without L is a racemic dimeric complex, [UO2(salophen)]2, in which the UO2(salophen) fragments are held together by bridging between one of the phenoxide oxygen atoms in salophen and the uranium in the other UO2(salophen) unit. Furthermore, it was spectrophotometrically demonstrated that [UO2(salophen)]2 retains its dimeric structure even in the noncoordinating solvents such as CH2Cl2 and CHCl3 and is in equilibrium with UO2(salophen)L {2UO2(salophen)L right arrow over left arrow [UO2(salophen)]2 + 2L}. The equilibrium constants and thermodynamic parameters of this equilibrium were evaluated from UV-visible absorption and 1H NMR spectral changes; log Kdim = -2.51 +/- 0.01 for L = DMF and solvent = CH2Cl2, log Kdim = -1.68 +/- 0.02 for L = DMF and solvent = CHCl3, log Kdim = -4.23 +/- 0.01 for L = DMSO and solvent = CH2Cl2, and log Kdim = -3.03 +/- 0.02 for L = DMSO and solvent = CHCl3. The kinetics of L-exchange reactions in UO2(salophen)L and enantiomer exchange of [UO2(salophen)]2 in noncoordinating solvents were also studied using NMR line-broadening method. As a consequence, it was suggested that the DMF-exchange reaction in UO2(salophen)DMF proceeds through two pathways (dissociative and associative paths) and that the predominant path of DMSO exchange in UO2(salophen)DMSO is the dissociative one. A sliding motion of the UO2(salophen) fragments was considered to be reasonable for the enantiomer-exchange mechanism of [UO2(salophen)]2. On the basis of the kinetic information for UO2(salophen)L and [UO2(salophen)]2, reaction mechanisms including the L-exchange reaction in UO2(salophen)L, the formation of [UO2(salophen)]2 from UO2(salophen)L, and the enantiomer exchange of [UO2(salophen)]2 are proposed.  相似文献

The reaction of the C=N bond in PhCH=NPh with the carbanionic species Ph2PCH2-, leading to the N-phenyl beta-aminophosphine Ph2PCH2CH(Ph)NHPh, L1, is described. This molecule reacts with different organic electrophiles to afford related compounds Ph2PCH2CH(Ph)NPhX (X = SiMe3, L2; COPh, L4), [Ph2MePCH2CH(Ph)NHPh]+(I-), L3, and [Ph2PCH2CH(Ph)N(Ph)CO]2, L5, containing two amido and two phosphino functions. The coordination properties of L1, L2, and L4 have been studied in palladium chemistry. The X-ray structure of [PdCl2(Ph2PCH2CH(Ph)NHPh-kappaP,kappaN)] shows the bidentate coordination mode for the L1 ligand with equatorial C(Ph)-N(Ph) phenyl groups. [PdCl2(Ph2PCH2CH(Ph)NHPh-kappaP,kappaN)] crystallizes at 298 K in the space group P2(1)/n with cell parameters a = 10.689(2) A, b = 21.345(3) A, c = 12.282(2) A, beta = 90.294(12) degrees, Z = 4, D(calcd) = 1.526. The reaction between 2 equiv of L1 and [PdCl(eta3-C3H5)]2 affords the [PdCl(eta3-C3H5)(Ph2PCH2CH(Ph)NHPh-kappaP)] complex in which an unexpected N-H.Cl intramolecular interaction has been observed by an X-ray diffraction analysis. [PdCl(eta3-C3H5)(Ph2PCH2CH(Ph)NHPh-kappaP)] crystallizes at 298 K in the monoclinic space group Cc with cell parameters a = 10.912(1) A, b = 17.194(2) A, c = 14.169(2) A, beta = 100.651(9) degrees, Z = 4, D(calcd) = 1.435. Neutral and cationic alkyl or allyl palladium chloride complexes containing L1 are also reported as well as a neutral allyl palladium chloride complex containing L4. Variable-temperature 31P[1H] NMR studies on the allyl complexes show that the eta3/eta1 allyl interconversion is enhanced by a positive charge and also by a N-H.Cl intramolecular interaction.  相似文献

Reduction at ambient temperature of each of the lithium benzamidinates [Li(L(1))(tmeda)] or [{Li(L(2))(OEt(2))(2)}(2)] with four equivalents of lithium metal in diethyl ether or thf furnished the brown crystalline [Li(3)(L(1))(tmeda)] (1) or [Li(thf)(4)][Li(5)(L(2))(2)(OEt(2))(2)] (2), respectively. Their structures show that in each the [N(R(1))C(R(3))NR(2)](3-) moiety has the three negative charges largely localised on each of N, N' and R = Aryl); a consequence is that the "aromatic" 2,3- and 5,6-CC bonds of R(3) approximate to being double bonds. Multinuclear NMR spectra in C(6)D(6) and C(7)D(8) show that 1 and 2 exhibit dynamic behaviour. [The following abbreviations are used: L(1) = N(SiMe(3))C(Ph)N(SiMe(3)); L(2) = N(SiMe(3))C(C(6)H(4)Me-4)N(Ph); tmeda = (Me(2)NCH(2)-)(2); thf = tetrahydrofuran.] This reduction is further supported by a DFT analysis.  相似文献

lp;&-5q;1 The reactions of [Tl2[S2C=C[C(O)Me]2]]n with [MCl2L2] (1:1) or with [MCl2(NCPh)2] and PPh3 (1:1:2) give complexes [M[eta2-S2C=C[C(O)Me]2]L2] [M = Pt, L2 = 1,5-cyclooctadiene (cod) (1); L2 = bpy, M = Pd (2a), Pt (2b), L = PPh3, M = Pd (3a), Pt (3b)] whereas with MCl2 and QCl (2:1:2) anionic derivatives Q2[M[eta2-S2C=C[C(O)Me]2]2] [M = Pd, Q = NMe4 (4a), Ph3P=N=PPh3 (PPN) (4a'), M = Pt, Q = NMe4 (4b)] are produced. Complexes 1 and 3 react with AgClO4 (1:1) to give tetranuclear complexes [[ML2]2Ag2[mu2,eta2-(S,S')-[S2C=C[C(O)Me]2]2]](ClO4)2 [L = PPh3, M = Pd (5a), Pt (5b), L2 = cod, M = Pt (5b')], while the reactions of 3 with AgClO4 and PPh3 (1:1:2) give dinuclear [[M(PPh3)2][Ag(PPh3)2][mu2,eta2-(S,S')-S2C=C[C(O)Me]2]]]ClO4 [M = Pd (6a), Pt (6b)]. The crystal structures of 3a, 3b, 4a, and two crystal forms of 5b have been determined. The two crystal forms of 5b display two [Pt(PPh3)2][mu2,eta2-(S,S')-[S2C=C[C(O)Me]2]2] moieties bridging two Ag(I) centers.  相似文献

Reactions between the complex [MnII(L)]2+, where L is a N3O2 macrocyclic ligand, and different cyanometalate precursors such as [M(CN)n]m- (M(III) = Cr, Fe; M(II) = Fe, Ni, Pd, Pt) lead to cyano-bridged molecular assemblies exhibiting a variety of structural topologies. The reaction between [MnII(L)]2+ and [FeII(CN)6]4- forms a trinuclear complex with formula [(MnII(L)(H2O))2(FeII(micro-CN)2(CN)4)] x 2MeOH x 10H2O (1) which crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1. The reaction between [MnII(L)]2+ and [M(II)(CN)4]2-, where M(II) = Ni (2), Pd (3), Pt (4), gives rise to three isostructural linear chain compounds with stoichiometry [(MnII(L))(M(II)(micro-CN)2(CN)2)]n and which crystallize in the monoclinic space group C2/c. The self-assembly between [MnII(L)]2+ with [M(III)(CN)6]3-, where M(III) = Cr (5), Fe (6, 7, 8), forms three types of compounds. Compounds 5 and 6 are isostructural (monoclinic, space group P2(1)/n), and the structures comprise anionic linear chains [(MnII(L))(M(III)(micro-CN)2(CN)4)]n(n-) with cationic trinuclear complexes [(MnII(L)(H2O))2(M(III)(micro-CN)2(CN)4)]+ as counterions. Using an excess of K3[FeIII(CN)6], an analogous compound to 6 but with K+ as counterion is obtained (7), which crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1. Compound 8 consists of 2-D layers with formula [(MnII(L))3(FeIII(micro-CN)4(CN)2)(FeIII(micro-CN)2(CN)4)]n x 2nMeOH; it crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n. The magnetic properties were investigated for all samples. In particular, compound 5, which shows antiferromagnetic exchange interactions between Mn(II) and Cr(III) ions through cyanide bridging ligands, has been studied in detail; the magnetic exchange parameter amounts to J = -7.5(7) cm(-1). Compound 8 shows a magnetically ordered phase below 6.4 K which is confirmed by M?ssbauer spectroscopy; two hyperfine split spectra were observed below Tc from which IJI values of 2.1 and 1.6 cm(-1) could be deduced.  相似文献

Complexes [Ir(Cp*)Cl(n)(NH2Me)(3-n)]X(m) (n = 2, m = 0 (1), n = 1, m = 1, X = Cl (2a), n = 0, m = 2, X = OTf (3)) are obtained by reacting [Ir(Cp*)Cl(mu-Cl)]2 with MeNH2 (1:2 or 1:8) or with [Ag(NH2Me)2]OTf (1:4), respectively. Complex 2b (n = 1, m = 1, X = ClO 4) is obtained from 2a and NaClO4 x H2O. The reaction of 3 with MeC(O)Ph at 80 degrees C gives [Ir(Cp*){C,N-C6H4{C(Me)=N(Me)}-2}(NH2Me)]OTf (4), which in turn reacts with RNC to give [Ir(Cp*){C,N-C6H4{C(Me)=N(Me)}-2}(CNR)]OTf (R = (t)Bu (5), Xy (6)). [Ir(mu-Cl)(COD)]2 reacts with [Ag{N(R)=CMe2}2]X (1:2) to give [Ir{N(R)=CMe2}2(COD)]X (R = H, X = ClO4 (7); R = Me, X = OTf (8)). Complexes [Ir(CO)2(NH=CMe2)2]ClO4 (9) and [IrCl{N(R)=CMe2}(COD)] (R = H (10), Me (11)) are obtained from the appropriate [Ir{N(R)=CMe2}2(COD)]X and CO or Me4NCl, respectively. [Ir(Cp*)Cl(mu-Cl)]2 reacts with [Au(NH=CMe2)(PPh3)]ClO4 (1:2) to give [Ir(Cp*)(mu-Cl)(NH=CMe2)]2(ClO4)2 (12) which in turn reacts with PPh 3 or Me4NCl (1:2) to give [Ir(Cp*)Cl(NH=CMe2)(PPh3)]ClO4 (13) or [Ir(Cp*)Cl2(NH=CMe2)] (14), respectively. Complex 14 hydrolyzes in a CH2Cl2/Et2O solution to give [Ir(Cp*)Cl2(NH3)] (15). The reaction of [Ir(Cp*)Cl(mu-Cl)]2 with [Ag(NH=CMe2)2]ClO4 (1:4) gives [Ir(Cp*)(NH=CMe2)3](ClO4)2 (16a), which reacts with PPNCl (PPN = Ph3=P=N=PPh3) under different reaction conditions to give [Ir(Cp*)(NH=CMe2)3]XY (X = Cl, Y = ClO4 (16b); X = Y = Cl (16c)). Equimolar amounts of 14 and 16a react to give [Ir(Cp*)Cl(NH=CMe2)2]ClO4 (17), which in turn reacts with PPNCl to give [Ir(Cp*)Cl(H-imam)]Cl (R-imam = N,N'-N(R)=C(Me)CH2C(Me)2NHR (18a)]. Complexes [Ir(Cp*)Cl(R-imam)]ClO4 (R = H (18b), Me (19)) are obtained from 18a and AgClO4 or by refluxing 2b in acetone for 7 h, respectively. They react with AgClO4 and the appropriate neutral ligand or with [Ag(NH=CMe2)2]ClO4 to give [Ir(Cp*)(R-imam)L](ClO4)2 (R = H, L = (t)BuNC (20), XyNC (21); R = Me, L = MeCN (22)) or [Ir(Cp*)(H-imam)(NH=CMe2)](ClO4)2 (23a), respectively. The later reacts with PPNCl to give [Ir(Cp*)(H-imam)(NH=CMe2)]Cl(ClO4) (23b). The reaction of 22 with XyNC gives [Ir(Cp*)(Me-imam)(CNXy)](ClO4)2 (24). The structures of complexes 15, 16c and 18b have been solved by X-ray diffraction methods.  相似文献

The coordination chemistry of the N-substituted arylamido ligands [N(R)(C6H3R'2-2,6)] [R = SiMe3, R' = Me (L1); R = CH2But, R' = Pri (L2)] toward FeII and CoII ions was studied. The monoamido complexes [M(L1)(Cl)(tmeda)] [M = Fe (1), Co (2)] react readily with MeLi, affording the mononuclear, paramagnetic iron(II) and cobalt(II) methyl-arylamido complexes [M(L1)(Me)(tmeda)] [M = Fe (3), Co (4)]. Treatment of 2:1 [Li(L2)(THF)2]/FeCl2 affords the unusual two-coordinate iron(II) bis(arylamide) [Fe(L2)2] (5).  相似文献

Vanadium(III) and vanadium(V) complexes derived from the tris(2-thiolatoethyl)amine ligand [(NS3)3-] and the bis(2-thiolatoethyl)ether ligand [(OS2)2-] have been synthesized with the aim of investigating the potential of these vanadium sites to bind dinitrogen and activate its reduction. Evidence is presented for the transient existence of (V(NS3)(N2)V(NS3), and a series of mononuclear complexes containing hydrazine, hydrazide, imide, ammine, organic cyanide, and isocyanide ligands has been prepared and the chemistry of these complexes investigated. [V(NS3)O] (1) reacts with an excess of N2H4 to give, probably via the intermediates (V(NS3)(NNH2) (2a) and (V(NS3)(N2)V(NS3) (3), the V(III) adduct [V(NS3)(N2H4)] (4). If 1 is treated with 0.5 mol of N2H4, 0.5 mol of N2 is evolved and green, insoluble [(V(NS3))n] (5) results. Compound 4 is converted by disproportionation to [V(NS3)(NH3)] (6), but 4 does not act as a catalyst for disproportionation of N2H4 nor does it act as a catalyst for its reduction by Zn/HOC6H3Pri2-2,6. Compound 1 reacts with NR1(2)NR2(2) (R1 = H or SiMe3; R2(2) = Me2, MePh, or HPh) to give the hydrazide complexes [V(NS3)(NNR2(2)] (R2(2) = Me2, 2b; R2(2) = MePh, 2c; R2(2) = HPh, 2d), which are not protonated by anhydrous HBr nor are they reduced by Zn/HOC6H3Pri2-2,6. Compound 2b can also be prepared by reaction of [V(NNMe2)(dipp)3] (dipp = OC6H3Pri2-2,6) with NS3H3. N2H4 is displaced quantitatively from 4 by anions to give the salts [NR3(4)][V(NS3)X] (X = Cl, R3 = Et, 7a; X = Cl, R3 = Ph, 7b; X = Br, R3 = Et, 7c; X = N3, R3 = Bu(n), 7d; X = N3, R3 = Et, 7e; X = CN, R3 = Et, 7f). Compound 6 loses NH3 thermally to give 5, which can also be prepared from [VCl3(THF)3] and NS3H3/LiBun. Displacement of NH3 from 6 by ligands L gives the adducts [V(NS3)(L)] (L = MeCN, nu CN 2264 cm-1, 8a; L = ButNC, nu NC 2173 cm-1, 8b; L = C6H11NC, nu NC 2173 cm-1, 8c). Reaction of 4 with N3SiMe3 gives [V(NS3)(NSiMe3)] (9), which is converted to [V(NS3)(NH)] (10) by hydrolysis and to [V(NS3)(NCPh3)] (11) by reaction with ClCPh3. Compound 10 is converted into 1 by [NMe4]OH and to [V(NS3)NLi(THF)2] (12) by LiNPri in THF. A further range of imido complexes [V(NS3)(NR4)] (R4 = C6H4Y-4 where Y = H (13a), OMe (13b), Me (13c), Cl (13d), Br (13e), NO2 (13f); R4 = C6H4Y-3, where Y = OMe (13g); Cl (13h); R4 = C6H3Y2-3,4, where Y = Me (13i); Cl (13j); R4 = C6H11 (13k)) has been prepared by reaction of 1 with R4NCO. The precursor complex [V(OS2)O(dipp)] (14) [OS2(2-) = O(CH2CH2S)2(2-)] has been prepared from [VO(OPri)3], Hdipp, and OS2H2. It reacts with NH2NMe2 to give [V(OS2)(NNMe2)(dipp)] (15) and with N3SiMe3 to give [V(OS2)(NSiMe3)(dipp)] (16). A second oxide precursor, formulated as [V(OS2)1.5O] (17), has also been obtained, and it reacts with SiMe3NHNMe2 to give [V(OS2)(NNMe2)(OSiMe3)] (18). The X-ray crystal structures of the complexes 2b, 2c, 4, 6, 7a, 8a, 9, 10, 13d, 14, 15, 16, and 18 have been determined, and the 51V NMR and other spectroscopic parameters of the complexes are discussed in terms of electronic effects.  相似文献

The acetylacetonate complexes [Ni(2)L(1)(acac)(MeOH)] x H(2)O, 1 x H(2)O and [Ni(2)L(3)(acac)(MeOH)] x 1.5H(2)O, 2 x 1.5H(2)O (H(3)L(1) = (2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-1,3-bis[4-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-3-azabut-3-enyl]-1,3-imidazolidine and H(3)L(3) = (2-(5-bromo-2-hydroxyphenyl)-1,3-bis[4-(5-bromo-2-hydroxyphenyl)-3-azabut-3-enyl]-1,3-imidazolidine) were prepared and fully characterised. Their crystal structures show that they are dinuclear complexes, extended into chains by hydrogen bond interactions. These compounds were used as starting materials for the isolation of the corresponding [Ni(2)HL(x)(o-O(2)CC(6)H(4)CO(2))(H(2)O)] x n MeOH and [Ni(2)HL(x)(O(2)CCH(2)CO(2))(H(2)O)]x nH(2)O dicarboxylate complexes (x = 1, 3; n = 1-3). The crystal structures of [Ni(2)HL(1)(o-O(2)CC(6)H(4)CO(2))(H(2)O)] x MeOH, 3 x MeOH, [Ni(2)HL(3)(o-O(2)CC(6)H(4)CO(2))(H(2)O)] x 3 MeOH, 4 x 3 MeOH and [Ni(2)HL(1)(O(2)CCH(2)CO(2))(H(2)O)] x 2.5H(2)O x 0.25 MeOH x MeCN, 5 x 2.5H(2)O x 0.25 MeOH x MeCN, were solved. Complexes 3-5 show dinuclear [Ni(2)HL(x)(dicarboxylate)(H(2)O)] units, expanded through hydrogen bonds that involve carboxylate and water ligands, as well as solvate molecules. The variable temperature magnetic susceptibilities of all the complexes show an intramolecular ferromagnetic coupling between the Ni(II) ions, which is attempted to be rationalized by comparison with previous results and in the light of molecular orbital treatment. Magnetisation measurements are in accord with a S = 2 ground state in all cases.  相似文献

Ten new chiral coordination polymers, namely, [Ni(L)(H(2)O)(2)] (1), [Co(L)(H(2)O)(2)] (2), [Cd(L)(H(2)O)] (3), [Cd(L)(phen)] (4), [Mn(2)(L)(2) (phen)(2)]·H(2)O (5), [Cd(2)(L)(2)(biim-4)(2)] (6), [Zn(2)(L)(2)(biim-4)(2)] (7), [Cd(L)(pbib)] (8), [Cd(L)(bbtz)] (9) and [Cd(L)(biim-6)] (10), where phen = 1,10-phenathroline, biim-4 = 1,1'-(1,4-butanediyl)bis(imidazole), pbib = 1,4-bis(imidazole-1-ylmethyl)benzene, bbtz = 1,4-bis(1,2,4-triazol-1-ylmethyl)benzene, biim-6 = 1,1'-(1,6-hexanedidyl)bis(imidazole), and H(2)L = (R)-2-(4'-(4'-carboxybenzyloxy)phenoxy)propanoic acid, have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. Their structures have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses and further characterized by infrared spectra (IR), powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), elemental analyses and thermogravimetric (TG) analyses. Compounds 1 and 2 exhibit similar 1D left-handed helical chains, which are further extended into 3D supramolecular structures through O-H···O hydrogen-bonding interactions, respectively. Compound 3 shows a 2D double-layer architecture containing helical chains. Compound 4 features two types of 2D undulated sheets with helical chains, which are stacked in an ABAB fashion along the c direction. Compound 5 possesses a 1D double chain ribbon structure containing unusual meso-helical chains, which is linked by π-π interactions into a 2D supramolecular layer. These layers are further extended by hydrogen-bonding interactions to form a 3D supramolecular assembly. Compounds 6 and 7 are isostructural and exhibit 2D (4(4))-sql networks with helical chains. Neighboring sheets are further linked by C-H···O hydrogen-bonding interactions to generate 3D supramolecular architectures. Compounds 8-10 are isostructural and display 3D 3-fold interpenetrating diamond frameworks with helical chains. The effects of coordination modes of L anions, metal ions and N-donor ligands on the structures of the coordination polymers have been discussed. The luminescent properties of 3, 4 and 6-10 have also been investigated in detail.  相似文献

The unsymmetrical diphosphinomethane ligand Ph(2)PCH(2)P(NC(4)H(4))(2) L has been prepared from the reaction of Ph(2)PCH(2)Li with PCl(NC(4)H(4))(2). The diphenylphosphino group can be selectively oxidized with sulfur to give Ph(2)P(S)CH(2)P(NC(4)H(4))(2) 1. The reaction of L with [MCl(2)(cod)] (M = Pd, Pt) gives the chelate complexes [MCl(2)(L-kappa(2)P,P')] (2, M = Pd; 3, M = Pt) in which the M-P bond to the di(N-pyrrolyl)phosphino group is shorter than that to the corresponding diphenylphosphino group. However, the shorter Pd-P bond is cleaved on reaction of 2 with an additional 1 equiv of L to give [PdCl(2)(L-kappa(1)P)(2)] 4. Complex 4 reacts with [PdCl(2)(cod)] to regenerate 2, and with [Pd(2)(dba)(3)].CHCl(3) to give the palladium(I) dimer [Pd(2)Cl(2)(mu-L)(2)] 5, which exists in solution and the solid state as a 1:1 mixture of head-to-head (HH) and head-to-tail (HT) isomers. The palladium(II) dimer [Pd(2)Cl(2)(CH(3))(2)(mu-L)(2)] 6, formed by the reaction of [PdCl(CH(3))(cod)] with L, also exists in solution as a mixture of HH and HT isomers, although in this case the HT isomer prevails at low temperature and crystallizes preferentially. Complex 6 reacts with TlPF(6) to give the A-frame complex [Pd(2)(CH(3))(2)(mu-Cl)(mu-L)(2)]PF(6) 7. The reaction of L with [RuCp*(mu(3)-Cl)](4) leads to the dimer [Ru(2)Cp*(2)(mu-Cl)(2)(mu-L)] 8, for which the enthalpy of reaction has been measured. The reaction of L with [Rh(mu-Cl)(cod)](2) gives a mixture of compounds from which the dimer [Rh(2)(mu-Cl)(cod)(2)(mu-L)]PF(6) 9 can be isolated. The crystal structures of 2.CHCl(3), 3.CH(2)Cl(2), 4, 5.(1)/(4)CH(2)Cl(2), 6, 7.2CH(2)Cl(2), 8, and 9.CH(2)Cl(2) are reported.  相似文献

The anions [ReX3(CO)2(NO)]- (with X = Cl, 1; X = Br, 2) have been prepared with different counterions. Complex 1 was found to lose its chloride ligands in water within 24 h. The [Re(H2O)3(CO)2(NO)]2+ cation obtained after hydrolysis is a strong acid, which consequently undergoes a slow condensation reaction in water to form the very stable [Re(mu3-O)(CO)2(NO)]4 cluster 4 at pH > 2, that precipitates from the aqueous solution and is insoluble also in organic solvents. Fast deprotonation of [Re(H2O)3(CO)2(NO)]2+ did not lead to 4 but rather to the mononuclear species [Re(OH)(H2O)2(CO)2(NO)]+. Subsequent attack of OH- at a CO group resulted in the formation of a rhenacarboxylic acid and its carboxylate anion. For solutions of even higher pH, IR spectroscopy provided evidence for the formation of a Re(C(O)ON(O)) species. These processes were found to be reversible on lowering the pH. Starting from cluster 4 it was possible to obtain complexes of the types [ReX(CO)2(NO)L2] or [Re(CO)2(NO)L3](L2 = 2-picolinate, 2,2'-bipyridine, L-phenylalanate; L3 = tris(pyrazolyl)methane, 1,4,7-trithiacyclononane) in the presence of an acid in protic solvents, but only in low yields. In further synthetic studies, complexes 1 and 2 were found to be superior starting materials for substitution reactions to form [ReX(CO)2(NO)L2] or [Re(CO)2(NO)L3] complexes.  相似文献

The complexation properties of the ligand bis(3,5-dimethylpyrazol-1-yl)methane (L) towards group 11 metals have been studied. The reaction in a 1 : 1 molar ratio with [Cu(NCMe)4]PF6 or Ag(OTf) complexes gives the mononuclear [CuL(NCMe)]PF6 (1), with crystallographic mirror symmetry, or dinuclear [Ag2(mu-L)2](OTf)2 (2) (OTf = trifluoromethanesulfonate) in which the ligand bridges both silver centres, an unprecedented mode of coordination for this type of ligands. Compound 2 crystallizes with two water molecules and forms a supramolecular structure through classical hydrogen bonding. The reaction in a 2 : 1 ratio affords in both cases the four-coordinated derivatives [ML2]X (M = Cu, X = PF6 (3); Ag, X = OTf 4). The treatment of [Ag(OTf)(PPh3)] with the ligand L gives [AgL(PPh3)]OTf (5). The gold(I) derivative [Au2(C6F5)2(mu-L)] (6) has also been obtained by reaction of L with two equivalents of [Au(C6F5)(tht)]. These complexes present a luminescent behaviour at low temperature; the emissions being mainly intraligand but enhanced after coordination of the metal. Compounds 1-4 have been characterized by X-ray crystallography. DFT studies showed that, in the silver complex 2, coordination of H2O to Ag in the binuclear complex is favoured by formation of a hydrogen-bonding network, involving the triflato anion, and releasing enough energy to allow distortion of the Ag2 framework.  相似文献

Various products of the reaction of [E(ddp)] (ddp=2-{(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)amino}-4-{(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imino}-2-pentene; E=Al, Ga) with Pt(0) and Pd(0) olefin complexes are reported. Thus, the reaction of [Pt(cod)(2)] (cod=1,5-cyclooctadiene) with two equivalents of [Ga(ddp)] yields [Pt(1,3-cod){Ga(ddp)}(2)] (1), whereas treatment of [Pd(2)(dvds)(3)] (dvds=1,1,3,3-tetramethyl1,3-divinyldisiloxane) with [E(ddp)] leads to the monomeric compounds [(dvds)Pd{E(ddp)}] (E=Ga (2 a), Al (2 b)) by substitution of the bridging dvds ligand. Both 1 and 2 a readily react with strong pi-acceptor ligands such as CO or tBuNC to give the dimeric compounds [M{mu(2)-Ga(ddp)}(L)] (L=CO, tBuNC; M=Pt (3 a, 5 a), Pd (3 b, 5 b)), respectively. Based on (1)H NMR spectroscopic data, [Pt{Ga(ddp)}(2)(CO)] is likely to be an intermediate in the formation of 3 a. Furthermore, reactions of 1 with H(2) and HSiEt(3) yield the monomeric compounds [Pt{Ga(ddp)}(2)(H)(2)] (7) and [Pt{Ga(ddp)}(2)(H)(SiEt(3))] (8). Finally, the reaction of [Pt(cod)(2)] with one equivalent of [Ga(ddp)] in the presence of H(2) in hexane gives the new dimeric cluster [Pt{mu(2)-Ga(ddp)}(H)(2)](2) (9).  相似文献

The Lewis acidic pincer with a labile triflate ligand, viz. [Pd(OTf)(PCP)] (PCP = (-)CH(CH(2)CH(2)PPh(2))(2)) was prepared from [PdCl(PCP)] with AgOTf. It reacts readily with neutral bidentate ligands [L = 4,4'-bipyridine (4,4'-bpy) and 1,1'-bis(diphenylphosphino)ferrocene (dppf)] to give dinuclear PCP pincers [{Pd(PCP)}(2)(micro-L)][OTf](2) (L = 4,4'-bpy, 2; dppf,3). [PdCl(PCP)] also reacts with 4-mercaptopyridine in the presence of KOH to give a Lewis basic pincer with a free pyridine functional group [Pd(4-Spy)(PCP)]4. Its metalloligand character is exemplified by the isolation of an asymmetric dinuclear double-pincer complex [{Pd(PCP)}(2)(micro-4-Spy)][PF(6)] 6 bridged by an ambidentate pyridinethiolato ligand. Complexes 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 have been characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses.  相似文献

The reactivity of [HMCo3(CO)12] and [Et4N][MCo3(CO)12] (M = Fe, Ru) toward phosphine selenides such as Ph3PSe, Ph2P(Se)CH2PPh2, Ph2(2-C5H4N)PSe, Ph2(2-C4H3S)PSe, and Ph2[(2-C5H4N)(2-C4H2S)]PSe has been studied with the aim to obtain new selenido-carbonyl bimetallic clusters. The reactions of the hydrido clusters give two main classes of products: (i) triangular clusters with a mu3-Se capping ligand of the type [MCo2(mu3-Se)(CO)(9-x)L(y)] resulting from the selenium transfer (x = y = 1, 2, with L = monodentate ligand; x = 2, 4, and y = 1, 2, with L = bidentate ligand) (M = Fe, Ru) and (ii) tetranuclear clusters of the type [HMCo3(CO)12xL(y)] obtained by simple substitution of axial, Co-bound carbonyl groups by the deselenized phosphine ligand. The crystal structures of [HRuCo3(CO)7(mu-CO)3(mu-dppy)] (1), [MCo2(mu3-Se)(CO)7(mu-dppy)] (M = Fe (16) or Ru (2)), and [RuCo2(mu3-Se)(CO)7(mu-dppm)] (12) are reported [dppy = Ph2(2-C5H4N)P, dppm = Ph2PCH2PPh2]. Clusters 2, 12, and 16 are the first examples of trinuclear bimetallic selenido clusters substituted by phosphines. Their core consists of metal triangles capped by a mu3-selenium atom with the bidentate ligand bridging two metals in equatorial positions. The core of cluster 1 consists of a RuCo3 tetrahedron, each Co-Co bond being bridged by a carbonyl group and one further bridged by a dppy ligand. The coordination of dppy in a pseudoaxial position causes the migration of the hydride ligand to the Ru(mu-H)Co edge. In contrast to the reactions of the hydrido clusters, those with the anionic clusters [MCo3(CO)12]- do not lead to Se transfer from phosphorus to the cluster but only to CO substitution by the deselenized phosphine.  相似文献

Reaction of the mononuclear nickel-thiolate complex [Ni(L1)(dppe)] with CH2Cl2 affords the novel pentanuclear complex [Ni5Cl2(L1)4(dppe)2], while [Ni(L1)(dcpe)] reacts with CH2Cl2 to give the binuclear species [Ni2Cl2(L2)(dcpe)2] in which two L1 units are linked by a methylene group derived from CH2Cl2.  相似文献

The nickelacarboranes [NEt(4)][2-(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)R)-closo-2,1,7-NiC(2)B(9)H(11)] (R = H (1a), Ph (1b)) have been synthesized via reaction between [Na](2)[nido-7,9-C(2)B(9)H(11)] and [Ni(2)(micro-Br)(2)(eta(3)-C(3)H(4)R)(2)] in THF (THF = tetrahydrofuran), followed by addition of [NEt(4)]Cl. Protonation of 1a in the presence of a donor ligand L affords the complexes [2,2-L(2)-closo-2,1,7-NiC(2)B(9)H(11)] (L = CO (2), CNBu(t) (3)). Addition of PEt(3) (1 equiv) to 2 produces quantitative conversion to [2-CO-2-PEt(3)-closo-2,1,7-NiC(2)B(9)H(11)], 4. Species 2-4 exhibit in solution hindered rotation of the NiL(2) fragment with respect to the eta(5)-C(2)B(9) cage unit. Protonation of 1a in the presence of a diene affords the neutral complexes [2-(eta(2):eta(2)-diene)-closo-2,1,7-NiC(2)B(9)H(11)] (diene = C(5)Me(5)H (5), dcp (6), cod (7), nbd (8), chd (9), and cot (10a); dcp = dicyclopentadiene, cod = 1,5-cyclooctadiene, nbd = norbornadiene, chd = 1,3-cyclohexadiene, and cot = cyclooctatetraene). Variable temperature (1)H NMR experiments show that the [Ni(diene)] fragments are freely rotating even at 193 K. A small quantity of the di-cage species [2,2'-micro-(1,2:5,6-eta-3,4:7,8-eta-cot)-(closo-2,1,7-NiC(2)B(9)H(11))(2)] (10b) is formed as a coproduct in the synthesis of 10a. This species can be rationally synthesized by protonation of 1a and subsequent addition of 10a.  相似文献

Pseudooctahedral complexes [MCl(3)(NtBu)L(2)] (M = Nb, L = py 1, ? tmeda 3; M = Ta, L = py 2, ? tmeda 4) have been studied by spectroscopic methods. By a VT (1)H NMR experiment a mutual exchange process between the py(ax) and py(free) in the complexes 1-2 was observed, whereas (13)C and (15)N NMR studies showed in the complexes 3-4 a tmeda ligand with an axial/equatorial coordination mode. The reaction of 2 with 3 equiv of Grignard reagent produces the methathesis products [TaR(3)(NtBu)] (R = CH(2)CMeCH(2)5, CH(2)CHCHCH(3)6) in which 2-methylallyl and 2-butenyl groups appear with a η(3)- and σ-coordination mode, respectively. When, toluene solutions of the compounds 5-6 were treated with 2 equiv of 2,6-dimethylphenylisocyanide the imido bisiminoacyl compounds [TaR(NtBu){C(R)NAr-κ(1)C}(2)] (Ar = 2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3); R = CH(2)CMeCH(2)7, CH(2)CHCHCH(3)8) can be isolated, via an imido iminoacyl intermediate [TaR(2)(NtBu){C(R)NAr-κ(1)C}] (Ar = 2,6-Me(2)C(6)H(3); R = CH(2)CMeCH(2)9) as we have observed in the treatment of 5 with 1 equiv of isocyanide; however, the analogous reaction between 5 and COPh(2) leads to the formation of the trisalkoxo imido compound [Ta(OCPh(2)R)(3)(NtBu)] (R = CH(2)CMeCH(2)10). All new complexes were studied by IR and multinuclear NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献
