The NiII‐mediated tautomerization of the N‐heterocyclic hydrosilylcarbene L2Si(H)(CH2)NHC 1 , where L2=CH(C?CH2)(CMe)(NAr)2, Ar=2,6‐iPr2C6H3; NHC=3,4,5‐trimethylimidazol‐2‐yliden‐6‐yl, leads to the first N‐heterocyclic silylene (NHSi)–carbene (NHC) chelate ligand in the dibromo nickel(II) complex [L1Si:(CH2)(NHC)NiBr2] 2 (L1=CH(MeC?NAr)2). Reduction of 2 with KC8 in the presence of PMe3 as an auxiliary ligand afforded, depending on the reaction time, the N‐heterocyclic silyl–NHC bromo NiII complex [L2Si(CH2)NHCNiBr(PMe3)] 3 and the unique Ni0 complex [η2(Si‐H){L2Si(H)(CH2)NHC}Ni(PMe3)2] 4 featuring an agostic Si? H→Ni bonding interaction. When 1,2‐bis(dimethylphosphino)ethane (DMPE) was employed as an exogenous ligand, the first NHSi–NHC chelate‐ligand‐stabilized Ni0 complex [L1Si:(CH2)NHCNi(dmpe)] 5 could be isolated. Moreover, the dicarbonyl Ni0 complex 6 , [L1Si:(CH2)NHCNi(CO)2], is easily accessible by the reduction of 2 with K(BHEt3) under a CO atmosphere. The complexes were spectroscopically and structurally characterized. Furthermore, complex 2 can serve as an efficient precatalyst for Kumada–Corriu‐type cross‐coupling reactions.  相似文献

An in depth study of the reactivity of an N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC)‐stabilized silylene monohydride with alkynes is reported. The reaction of silylene monohydride 1 , tBu3Si(H)Si←NHC, with diphenylacetylene afforded silole 2 , tBu3Si(H)Si(C4Ph4). The density functional theory (DFT) calculations for the reaction mechanism of the [2+2+1] cycloaddition revealed that the NHC played a major part stabilizing zwitterionic transition states and intermediates to assist the cyclization pathway. A significantly different outcome was observed, when silylene monohydride 1 was treated with phenylacetylene, which gave rise to supersilyl substituted 1‐alkenyl‐1‐alkynylsilane 3 , tBu3Si(H)Si(CH?CHPh)(C?CPh). Mechanistic investigations using an isotope labelling technique and DFT calculations suggest that this reaction occurs through a similar zwitterionic intermediate and subsequent hydrogen abstraction from a second molecule of phenylacetylene.  相似文献

A way to synthesize the transient zwitterionic silylene L′Si : 8 {L’=CH[(C=CH2)CMe(N(tBu))2]} and achieve its facile dimerization to the remarkable N‐heterobicyclic disilane 8 2 is described. At first, employing the β‐diketiminate ligand L [L=CH(CMeN(tBu))2], both starting materials LH ( 2 ) and its N‐lithium salt LLi ( 3 ) can react with SiBr4 to yield the silylene precursor L′SiBr2 ( 4 ) by silicon‐induced C? H activation at an exocyclic methyl group on the backbone of the ligand. Compound 4 reacts with SiBr4 above room temperature to afford the unexpected terminal CH(SiBr3)‐substituted dibromosilane 6 along with the unique tricyclic trisilane 7 . Reduction of 4 with KC8 at 0 °C furnishes the novel N‐heterobicyclic disilane 8 2, which is a formal dimer of the desired zwitterionic silylene L′Si : ( 8 ). It has been reasoned that compound 8 2 may results from [4+1] cycloaddition of two molecules of 8 to give the transient dimer 8 2 ′ , which subsequently undergoes hydrogen transfer from a terminal methyl group on the backbone of the C3N2Si ligand to the low‐coordinate Si atom. The latter dimerization can be rationalized by the intrinsic zwitterionic character of 8 and insufficient steric protection through the tBu groups at the nitrogen atoms. The novel compounds 3 , 4 , 6 , 7 , and 8 2 have been characterized by 1H, 13C, and 29Si NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and elemental analysis. Additionally, the structures of 3 , 6 , 7 , and 8 2 were also established by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analyses.  相似文献

Treatment of pyridine‐stabilized silylene complexes [(η5‐C5Me4R)(CO)2(H)W?SiH(py)(Tsi)] (R=Me, Et; py=pyridine; Tsi=C(SiMe3)3) with an N‐heterocyclic carbene MeIiPr (1,3‐diisopropyl‐4,5‐dimethylimidazol‐2‐ylidene) caused deprotonation to afford anionic silylene complexes [(η5‐C5Me4R)(CO)2W?SiH(Tsi)][HMeIiPr] (R=Me ( 1‐Me ); R=Et ( 1‐Et )). Subsequent oxidation of 1‐Me and 1‐Et with pyridine‐N‐oxide (1 equiv) gave anionic η2‐silaaldehydetungsten complexes [(η5‐C5Me4R)(CO)2W{η2‐O?SiH(Tsi)}][HMeIiPr] (R=Me ( 2‐Me ); R=Et ( 2‐Et )). The formation of an unprecedented W‐Si‐O three‐membered ring was confirmed by X‐ray crystal structure analysis.  相似文献

The synthesis of an N‐heterocyclic silylene‐stabilized digermanium(0) complex is described. The reaction of the amidinate‐stabilized silicon(II) amide [LSiN(SiMe3)2] ( 1 ; L=PhC(NtBu)2) with GeCl2?dioxane in toluene afforded the SiII–GeII adduct [L{(Me3Si)2N}Si→GeCl2] ( 2 ). Reaction of the adduct with two equivalents of KC8 in toluene at room temperature afforded the N‐heterocyclic carbene silylene‐stabilized digermanium(0) complex [L{(Me3Si)2N}Si→ Ge?Ge←Si{N(SiMe3)2}L] ( 3 ). X‐ray crystallography and theoretical studies show conclusively that the N‐heterocyclic silylenes stabilize the singlet digermanium(0) moiety by a weak synergic donor–acceptor interaction.  相似文献

The aluminum(I) compound NacNacAl (NacNac=[ArNC(Me)CHC(Me)NAr]?, Ar=2,6‐iPr2C6H3, 1 ) shows diverse and substrate‐controlled reactivity in reactions with N‐heterocycles. 4‐Dimethylaminopyridine (DMAP), a basic substrate in which the 4‐position is blocked, induces rearrangement of NacNacAl by shifting a hydrogen atom from the methyl group of the NacNac backbone to the aluminum center. In contrast, C?H activation of the methyl group of 4‐picoline takes place to produce a species with a reactive terminal methylene. Reaction of 1 with 3,5‐lutidine results in the first example of an uncatalyzed, room‐temperature cleavage of an sp2 C?H bond (in the 4‐position) by an AlI species. Another reactivity mode was observed for quinoline, which undergoes 2,2′‐coupling. Finally, the reaction of 1 with phthalazine produces the product of N?N bond cleavage.  相似文献

Main group analogues of cyclobutane‐1,3‐diyls are fascinating due to their unique reactivity and electronic properties. So far only heteronuclear examples have been isolated. Here we report the isolation and characterization of all‐silicon 1,3‐cyclobutanediyls as stable closed‐shell singlet species from the reversible reactions of cyclotrisilene c‐Si3Tip4 (Tip=2,4,6‐triisopropylphenyl) with the N‐heterocyclic silylenes c‐[(CR2CH2)(NtBu)2]Si: (R=H or methyl) with saturated backbones. At elevated temperatures, tetrasilacyclobutenes are obtained from these equilibrium mixtures. The corresponding reaction with the unsaturated N‐heterocyclic silylene c‐(CH)2(NtBu)2Si: proceeds directly to the corresponding tetrasilacyclobutene without detection of the assumed 1,3‐cyclobutanediyl intermediate.  相似文献

The first single‐component N‐heterocyclic silylene borane 1 (LSi‐R‐BMes2; L=PhC(Nt Bu)2; R=1,12‐xanthendiyl spacer; Mes=2,4,6‐Me3C6H2), acting as a frustrated Lewis pair (FLP) in small‐molecule activation, can be synthesized in 65 % yields. Its HOMO is largely localized at the silicon(II) atom and the LUMO has mainly boron 2p character. In small‐molecule activation 1 allows access to the intramolecular silanone–borane 3 featuring a Si=O→B interaction through reaction with O2, N2O, or CO2, and formation of silanethione borane 4 from reaction with S8. The SiII center in 1 undergoes immediate hydrogenation if exposed to H2 at 1 atm pressure in benzene, affording the silane borane 5‐H2 , L(H2)Si‐R‐BMes2. Remarkably, no H2 activation occurs if the single silylene LSiPh and Mes3B intermolecularly separated are exposed to dihydrogen. Unexpectedly, the pre‐organized Si–B separation in 1 enables a metal‐free dehydrogenation of H2O to give the silanone–borane 3 as reactive intermediate.  相似文献

Reactions of the Grubbs 3rd generation complexes [RuCl2(NHC)(Ind)(Py)] (N‐heterocyclic carbene (NHC)=1,3‐bis(2,4,6‐trimethylphenylimidazolin)‐2‐ylidene (SIMes), 1,3‐bis(2,6‐diisopropylphenylimidazolin)‐2‐ylidene (SIPr), or 1,3‐bis(2,6‐diisopropylphenylimidazol)‐2‐ylidene (IPr); Ind=3‐phenylindenylid‐1‐ene, Py=pyridine) with 2‐ethenyl‐N‐alkylaniline (alkyl=Me, Et) result in the formation of the new N‐Grubbs–Hoveyda‐type complexes 5 (NHC=SIMes, alkyl=Me), 6 (SIMes, Et), 7 (IPr, Me), 8 (SIPr, Me), and 9 (SIPr, Et) with N‐chelating benzylidene ligands in yields of 50–75 %. Compared to their respective, conventional, O‐Grubbs–Hoveyda complexes, the new complexes are characterized by fast catalyst activation, which translates into fast and efficient ring‐closing metathesis (RCM) reactivity. Catalyst loadings of 15–150 ppm (0.0015–0.015 mol %) are sufficient for the conversion of a wide range of diolefinic substrates into the respective RCM products after 15 min at 50 °C in toluene; compounds 8 and 9 are the most catalytically active complexes. The use of complex 8 in RCM reactions enables the formation of N‐protected 2,5‐dihydropyrroles with turnover numbers (TONs) of up to 58 000 and turnover frequencies (TOFs) of up to 232 000 h?1; the use of the N‐protected 1,2,3,6‐tetrahydropyridines proceeds with TONs of up to 37 000 and TOFs of up to 147 000 h?1; and the use of the N‐protected 2,3,6,7‐tetrahydroazepines proceeds with TONs of up to 19 000 and TOFs of up to 76 000 h?1, with yields for these reactions ranging from 83–92 %.  相似文献

A family of iridium(I) hydroxides of the form [Ir(cod)(NHC)(OH)] (cod=1,5‐cyclooctadiene, NHC=N‐heterocyclic carbene) is reported. Single‐crystal X‐ray analyses and computational methods were used to explore the structural characteristics and steric properties of these new complexes. The model complex [Ir(cod)(IiPr)(OH)] (IiPr=1,3‐(diisopropyl)imidazol‐2‐ylidene) undergoes reaction with a wide variety of substrates including boronic acids and silicon compounds. In addition, O? H, N? H and C? H bond activation was achieved with alcohols, carboxylic acids, amines and various sp‐, sp2‐ and sp3‐hybridised carbon centres, giving access to a wide range of new IrI complexes. These studies have allowed us to explore the exciting reactivity of this motif, revealing a versatile and useful synthon capable of activating important chemical bonds under mild (typically room temperature) conditions. No additives were required and, in the case of X? H bond activation, water was the only waste product, rendering this an atom efficient procedure for bond activation. This system has great potential for the construction of new catalytic cycles for organic synthesis and small‐molecule activation.  相似文献

Megawatt ArF laser photolysis of gaseous methyldisilazanes [(CH3)nH3?nSi]2NH (n = 2, 3) in excess of Ar yields hydrocarbons (major volatile products), methylsilanes (minor volatile products) and allows chemical vapour deposition of solid amorphous Si/C/O/N/H powder containing Si? X (X? C, H, O, N) bonds. The incorporation of O is due to a high reactivity of the primarily formed products towards air moisture. The resulting solid materials possess nanometer‐sized texture and high specific area, contain Si‐centered radicals and anneal under argon to silicon oxycarbonitride, whose structure is described as a network of O‐ and N‐interconnected Si and C atoms. A coordinatively unsaturated iron‐methyl complex having an N‐heterocyclic carbene ligand, [Cp*Fe(LMe)Me] ( 1 ; Cp*=η5‐C5Me5, LMe=1,3,4,5‐tetramethyl‐imidazol‐2‐ylidene), is synthesized from the reaction of [Cp*Fe(TMEDA)Cl] (TMEDA=N,N,N′,N′‐tetramethylethylenediamine) with methyllithium and LMe. Complex 1 is found to activate the C? H bonds of furan, thiophene, and benzene, giving rise to aryl complexes, [Cp*Fe(LMe)(aryl)] (aryl=2‐furyl ( 2 ), 2‐thienyl ( 3 ), phenyl ( 4 )). The C? H bond cleavage reactions are applied to the dehydrogenative coupling of furans or thiophenes with pinacolborane (HBpin) in the presence of tert‐butylethylene and a catalytic amount of 1 (10 mol % to HBpin). The borylation of the furan/thiophene or 2‐substituted furans/thiophenes occurs exclusively at the 2‐ or 5‐positions, respectively, whereas that of 3‐substituted furans/thiophenes takes place mainly at the 5‐position and gives a mixture of regioisomers. Treatment of 2 with 2 equiv of HBpin results in the quantitative formation of 2‐boryl‐furan and the borohydride complex [Cp*Fe(LMe)(H2Bpin)] ( 5 ). Heating a solution of 5 in the presence of tert‐butylethylene led to the formation of an alkyl complex [Cp*Fe(LMe)CH2CH2tBu] ( 6 ), which was found to cleave the C? H bond of furan to produce 2 . On the basis of these results, a possible catalytic cycle is proposed.  相似文献

N‐Ylide complexes of Ir have been generated by C(sp3)?H activation of α‐pyridinium or α‐imidazolium esters in reactions with [Cp*IrCl2]2 and NaOAc. These reactions are rare examples of C(sp3)?H activation without a covalent directing group, which—even more unusually—occur α to a carbonyl group. For the reaction of the α‐imidazolium ester [ 3 H]Cl, the site selectivity of C?H activation could be controlled by the choice of metal and ligand: with [Cp*IrCl2]2 and NaOAc, C(sp3)?H activation gave the N‐ylide complex 4 ; in contrast, with Ag2O followed by [Cp*IrCl2]2, C(sp2)?H activation gave the N‐heterocyclic carbene complex 5 . DFT calculations revealed that the N‐ylide complex 4 was the kinetic product of an ambiphilic C?H activation. Examination of the computed transition state for the reaction to give 4 indicated that unlike in related reactions, the acetate ligand appears to play the dominant role in C?H bond cleavage.  相似文献

Complexes [Re(CO)3(N‐RIm)3]OTf (N‐RIm=N‐alkylimidazole, OTf=trifluoromethanesulfonate; 1 a – d ) have been straightforwardly synthesised from [Re(OTf)(CO)5] and the appropriate N‐alkylimidazole. The reaction of compounds 1 a – d with the strong base KN(SiMe3)2 led to deprotonation of a central C? H group of an imidazole ligand, thus affording very highly reactive derivatives. The latter can evolve through two different pathways, depending on the nature of the substituents of the imidazole ligands. Compound 1 a contains three N‐MeIm ligands, and its product 2 a features a C‐bound imidazol‐2‐yl ligand. When 2 a is treated with HOTf or MeOTf, rhenium N‐heterocyclic carbenes (NHCs) 3 a or 4 a are afforded as a result of the protonation or methylation, respectively, of the non‐coordinated N atom. The reaction of 2 a with [AuCl(PPh3)] led to the heterobimetallic compound 5 , in which the N‐heterocyclic ligand is once again N‐bound to the Re atom and C‐coordinated to the gold fragment. For compounds 1 b – d , with at least one N‐arylimidazole ligand, deprotonation led to an unprecedented reactivity pattern: the carbanion generated by the deprotonation of the C2? H group of an imidazole ligand attacks a central C? H group of a neighbouring N‐RIm ligand, thus affording the product of C? C coupling and ring‐opening of the imidazole moiety that has been attacked ( 2 c , d ). The new complexes featured an amido‐type N atom that can be protonated or methylated, thus obtaining compounds 3 c , d or 4 c , d , respectively. The latter reaction forces a change in the disposition of the olefinic unit generated by the ring‐opening of the N‐RIm ligand from a cisoid to a transoid geometry. Theoretical calculations help to rationalise the experimental observation of ring‐opening (when at least one of the substituents of the imidazole ligands is an aryl group) or tautomerisation of the N‐heterocyclic ligand to afford the imidazol‐2‐yl product.  相似文献

Treatment of N‐heterocyclic silylene Si[N(tBu)CH]2 ( 1 ) and [(η3‐C3H5)PdCl]2 in toluene led to the formation of the mononuclear complex (η3‐C3H5)Pd{Si[N(tBu)CH]2}Cl ( 3 ), the silicon analogue to N‐heterocyclic carbene complex (η3‐C3H5)Pd{C[N(tBu)CH]2}Cl ( 2 ). Complex 3 was characterized with 1H NMR and 13C NMR. Investigation shows that (η3‐C3H5)Pd{Si[N(tBu)CH]2}Cl is an active catalyst for Heck coupling reaction of styrene with aryl bromides.  相似文献

The synthesis, structural characterization, and reactivity of the first two‐coordinate cobalt complex featuring a metal–element multiple bond [(IPr)Co(NDmp)] ( 4 ; IPr=1,3‐bis(2′,6′‐diisopropylphenyl)imidazole‐2‐ylidene; Dmp=2,6‐dimesitylphenyl) is reported. Complex 4 was prepared from the reaction of [(IPr)Co(η2‐vtms)2] (vtms=vinyltrimethylsilane) with DmpN3. An X‐ray diffraction study revealed its linear C? Co? N core and a short Co? N distance (1.691(6) Å). Spectroscopic characterization and calculation studies indicated the high‐spin nature of 4 and the multiple‐bond character of the Co? N bond. Complex 4 effected group‐transfer reactions to CO and ethylene to form isocyanide and imine, respectively. It also facilitated E? H (E=C, Si) σ‐bond activation of terminal alkyne and hydrosilanes to produce the corresponding cobalt(II) alkynyl and cobalt(II) hydride complexes as 1,2‐addition products.  相似文献

Facile oxygenation of the acyclic amido‐chlorosilylene bis(N‐heterocyclic carbene) Ni0 complex [{N(Dipp)(SiMe3)ClSi:→Ni(NHC)2] ( 1 ; Dipp=2,6‐iPr2C6H4; N‐heterocyclic carbene=C[(iPr)NC(Me)]2) with N2O furnishes the first Si‐metalated iminosilane, [DippN=Si(OSiMe3)Ni(Cl)(NHC)2] ( 3 ), in a rearrangement cascade. Markedly, the formation of 3 proceeds via the silanone (Si=O)–Ni π‐complex 2 as the initial product, which was predicted by DFT calculations and observed spectroscopically. The Si=O and Si=N moieties in 2 and 3 , respectively, show remarkable hydroboration reactivity towards H−B bonds of boranes, in the former case corroborating the proposed formation of a (Si=O)–Ni π‐complex at low temperature.  相似文献

Herein we report the reactions of 3,4,5,6-tetrafluoroterephthalonitrile ( 1 ) with bis(silylene) and bis(germylene) LE−EL [E=Si ( 2 ) and Ge( 3 ): L=PhC(NtBu)2)]. The reaction of LSi−SiL (L=PhC(NtBu)2) ( 2 ) with two equivalents of 1 resulted in an unprecedented oxidative addition of a C−F bond of 1 leading to disilicon(III) fluoride {L(4-C8F3N)FSi−SiF(4-C8F3N)L}( 4 ), wherein the Si−Si single bond was retained. In contrast, the reaction of LGe−GeL (L=PhC(NtBu)2) ( 3 ) with one equivalent of 1 resulted in the oxidative cleavage of Ge−Ge bond leading to L(4-C8F3N2)Ge ( 5 ) and LGeF ( 6 ). All three compounds ( 4 – 6 ) were characterized by NMR spectroscopy, EI-MS spectrometry, and elemental analysis. X-ray single-crystal structure determination of compound 4 unequivocally established that the SiIII−SiIII bond remains uncleaved.  相似文献

The stabilization of the labile, zwitterionic “half‐parent” phosphasilene 4 L′Si?PH (L′=CH[(C?CH2)CMe(NAr)2]; Ar=2,6‐iPr2C6H3) could now be accomplished by coordination with two different donor ligands (4‐dimethylaminopyridine (DMAP) and 1,3,4,5‐tetramethylimidazol‐2‐ylidene), affording the adducts 8 and 9 , respectively. The DMAP‐stabilized zwitterionic “half‐parent” phosphasilene 8 is capable of transferring the elusive parent phosphinidene moiety (:PH) to an unsaturated organic substrate, in analogy to the “free” phosphasilene 4 . Furthermore, compounds 4 and 8 show an unusual reactivity of the Si?P moiety towards small molecules. They are capable of adding dimethylzinc and of activating the S?H bonds in H2S and the N?H bonds in ammonia and several organoamines. Interestingly, the DMAP donor ligand of 8 has the propensity to act as a leaving group at the phosphasilene during the reaction. Accordingly, treatment of 8 with H2S affords, under liberation of DMAP, the unprecedented thiosilanoic phosphane LSi?S(PH2) 16 (L=HC(CMe[2,6‐iPr2C6H3N])2). Compounds 4 and 8 react with ammonia both affording L′Si(NH2)PH2 17 , respectively. In addition, the reaction of 8 with isoproylamine, p‐toluidine, and pentafluorophenylhydrazine lead to the corresponding phosphanylsilanes L′Si(PH2)NHR (R=iPr 18 a ; R=C6H5?CH3 18 b , R=NH(C6F5) 18 c ), respectively.  相似文献

Novel palladium‐1,3‐dialkylperhydrobenzimidazolin‐2‐ylidene (2a–c) and palladium‐1,3‐dialkylimidazolin‐2‐ylidene complexes (4a,b) have been prepared and characterized by C, H, N analysis, 1H‐NMR and 13C‐NMR. Styrene or phenylboronic acid reacts with aryl halide derivatives in the presence of catalytic amounts of the new palladium‐carbene complexes, PdCl2(1,3‐dialkylperhydrobenzimidazolin‐2‐ylidene) or PdCl2(1,3‐dialkylimidazolin‐2‐ylidene) to give the corresponding C?
