We have developed a sensor for the square wave anodic stripping voltammetric determination of Pb(II). A glassy carbon electrode was modified with a thin film of an antimony/poly(p-aminobenzene sulfonic acid) composite in air-saturated aqueous solution of pH 2.0. Compared to a conventional antimony film electrode, the new one yields a larger stripping signal for Pb(II). The conditions of polymerization, the concentration of Sb(III), the pH value of the sample solution, the deposition potential and time, frequency, potential amplitude, and step increment potential were optimized. Under the optimum conditions, a linear response was observed for Pb(II) in the range of 0.5 to 150.0 μg?L?1. The detection limit for Pb(II) is 0.1 μg?L?1.

The surface of a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was modified by electropolymerization of p-aminobenzene sulfonic acid (p-ABSA) and the modified electrode was then prepared by in situ depositing antimony and target metal on the poly(p-ABSA) coated glassy carbon electrode. The antimony/poly(p-ABSA) film electrode displays high electrochemical activity in giving a peak current that is proportional to the concentration of Pb(II) in a certain range.  相似文献

A new type of current sensor, Langmuir–Blodgett (LB) film of calixarene on the surface of glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was prepared for determination of mercury by anodic stripping voltammetry (ASV). An anodic stripping peak was obtained at 0.15 V (vs. SCE) by scanning the potential from ?0.6 to +0.6 V. Compared with a bare GCE, the LB film coated electrode greatly improves the sensitivity of measuring mercury ion. The fabricated electrode in a 0.1 M H2SO4+0.01 M HCl solution shows a linear voltammetric response in the range of 0.07–40 μg L?1 and detection limit of 0.04 μg L?1 (ca. 2×10?10 M). The high sensitivity, selectivity, and stability of this LB film modified electrode demonstrates its practical application for a simple, rapid and economical determination of Hg2+ in a water sample.  相似文献

A simple but highly snesitive electrochemical sensor for the determination of dihydromyricetin (DMY) based on graphene‐Nafion nanocomposite film modified Glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was reported. The characteristic of the sensor was examined by scanning electron microscopic (SEM) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Compares with bare GCE, pre‐anodized glassy carbon electrode (GCE(ox)) and Nafion modified electrode, the sensor exhibited the more superior ability of detecting DMY, due to the synergetic graphene and Nafion. Other, the dependence of the current on pH, instrumental parameters, accumulation time and potential were investigated to optimize the experimental conditions in the determination of DMY. Under the selected conditions, the response peak currents were linear relationship with the DMY concentrations in the range of 8.0 × 10?8 ~ 2.0 × 10?5 mol L?1 with a detection limit of 2.0 × 10?8 mol L?1. And, the method was also applied successfully to detect DMY in Ampelopsis grossedentata samples.  相似文献

We report on a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) modified with a lead ionophore and multiwalled carbon nanotubes. It can be applied to square wave anodic stripping voltammetric determination of Pb(II) ion after preconcentration of Pb(II) at ?1.0?V (vs. SCE) for 300?s in pH?4.5 acetate buffer containing 400?μg?L?1 of Bi(III). The ionophore-MWCNTs film on the GCE possesses strong and highly selective affinity for Pb(II) as confirmed by quartz crystal microbalance experiments. Under the optimum conditions, a linear response was observed for Pb(II) ion in the range from 0.3 to 50?μg?L?1. The limit of detection (at S/N?=?3) is 0.1?μg?L?1. The method was applied to the determination of Pb(II) in water samples with acceptable recovery.

In this paper, an electrochemical application of bismuth film modified glassy carbon electrode for azo-colorants determination was investigated. Bismuth-film electrode (BiFE) was prepared by ex-situ depositing of bismuth onto glassy carbon electrode. The plating potential was ?0.78 V (vs. SCE) in a solution of 0.15 mg mL?1 Bi(III) and 0.05 mg mL?1 KBr for 180 s. In the next step, a thin film of chitosan was deposited on the surface of bismuth modified glassy carbon electrode, thus the bismuth-chitosan thin film modified glassy carbon electrode (Bi-CHIT/GCE) was fabricated and compared with bare GCE and bismuth modified GCE. Azo-colorants such as Sunset Yellow and Carmoisine were determined on these electrodes by differential pulse voltammetry. Due to overlapping peaks of Sunset Yellow and Carmoisine, simultaneous determination of them is not possible, so net analyte signal standard addition method (NASSAM) was used for this determination. The results showed that coated chitosan can enhance the bismuth film sensitivity, improve the mechanical stability without caused contamination of surface electrode. The Bi-CHIT/GC electrode behaved linearly to Sunset Yellow and Carmoisine in the concentration range of 5×10?6 to 2.38×10?4 M and 1×10?6 to 0.41×10?4 M with a detection limit of 10 µM (4.52 µg mL?1) and 10 µM (5.47 µg mL?1), respectively   相似文献

The electrochemical reduction of three common insecticides such as cypermethrin (CYP), deltamethrin (DEL) and fenvalerate (FEN) was investigated at glassy carbon electrode (GCE), multiwalled carbon nanotubes modified GCE (MWCNT‐GCE), polyaniline (herein called as modifier M1) and polypyrrole (herein called as modifier M2) deposited MWCNT/GCE using cyclic voltammetry. Influences of pH, scan rate, and concentration were studied. The surface morphology of the modified film was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and X‐ray diffraction analysis (XRD). A systematic study of the experimental parameters that affect differential pulse stripping voltammetry (DPSV) was carried out and the optimized experimental conditions were arrived at. The calibration plots were linear over the insecticide's concentration range 0.1–100 mg L?1 and 0.05–100 mg L?1 for all the three insecticides at MWCNT‐GCE and MWCNT(M1)‐GCE respectively. The MWCNT(M2)‐GCE performed well among the three electrode systems and the determination range obtained was 0.01–100 mg L?1 for CYP, DEL and FEN. The limit of detection (LOD) was 0.35 μg L?1, 0.9 μg L?1 and 0.1 μg L?1 for CYP, DEL and FEN respectively on MWCNT(M2)‐GCE modified system. Suitability of this method for the trace determination of insecticide in spiked soil sample was also determined.  相似文献

In this study, we introduce a very sensitive and selective method for the differential pulse anodic stripping determination of Sb(III) ion on the over‐oxidized poly(phenol red) modified glassy carbon electrode (PPhRedox/GCE) in 0.1 mol L‐1 HCl medium. The formation of both poly(phenol red) and over‐oxidized poly(phenol red) film on the electrode surfaces were characterized by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy techniques. An anodic stripping peak of Sb(III) was observed at 0.015 V on the PPhRedox/GCE. Higher anodic stripping peak current of Sb(III) was obtained at PPhRedox/GCE compared with both bare GCE and poly(phenol red) film modified GCE (PPhRed/GCE). The calibration graph consisted of two linear segments of 0.044 ‐ 1.218 μg L−1 and 3.40 – 18.26 μg L−1 with a detection limit of 0.0075 μg L−1. The proposed over‐oxidized polymer film modified electrode was applied successfully for the analysis of antimony in different spiked water samples. Spiked recoveries for water samples were obtained in the range of 93.0–103.0%. The accuracy of the method was also verified through the analysis of standard reference materials (SCP SCIENCE‐EnviroMAT™ EP−L‐2).  相似文献

The two adsorptive stripping voltammetric approaches for detection and quantitative determination of diethyl (2E)-2-{(2E)-[1-(4-methylphenyl)imidazolidin-2-ylidene]hydrazinylidene}butanedioate (DIB)—a novel molecule of medical importance—using two sensitive sensors based on modified glassy carbon electrodes as reusable sensors, were developed for the first time. The proposed electrochemical methods are based on adsorptive/reductive behaviour of DIB at two modified carbonic electrodes: a bismuth film-modified glassy carbon electrode (BiF/GCE) and a lead film-modified glassy carbon electrode (PbF/GCE). The electron gain mechanism for the electrochemical reduction of DIB on both developed sensors was proposed for the first time. To achieve the highest sensitivity in adsorptive stripping determinations, various experimental variables (e.g. the composition and pH of the supporting electrolytes, deposition conditions of bismuth and lead films, concentrations of plating solutions, accumulation times and potentials of DIB, etc.) were extensively examined. The comparison of validation parameters obtained during the determination of DIB at two sensors was presented. The excellent linear correlation was found between the monitored adsorptive stripping voltammetric peak current and the DIB concentration in the range of 15–600 μg L−1 at an accumulation time of 30 s (with LOD = 4.2 μg L−1 and LOQ = 14.0 μg L−1) using the BiF/GCE as a sensor. Furthermore, the excellent linear relationship was confirmed between the monitored adsorptive stripping voltammetric peak current and the DIB concentration in the range of 9–900 μg L−1 at an accumulation time of 10 s (with better LOD = 1.5 μg L−1 and LOQ = 5.0 μg L−1), employing the PbF/GCE as a sensor. The two optimized adsorptive stripping voltammetric approaches—as facile, sensitive, reliable and inexpensive—were successfully used as first methods for the quantitative analysis of a novel anticancer agent (DIB) in its pure pharmaceutically acceptable form. However, the practical applicability of square-wave adsorptive stripping voltammetric determination of the electroactive DIB molecule at a PbF/GCE, as the modified electrode of higher sensitivity, was presented after its successful solid phase extraction from a real serum sample.

The electroanalytical performance of bare glassy carbon electrodes (GCE) for the determination of 1‐aminonaphthalene (1‐AN) and 2‐aminonaphthalene (2‐AN) was compared with GCE modified by a Nafion permselective membrane or multiwalled carbon nanotubes and with other types of carbon‐based materials, carbon film and boron doped diamond. Nafion‐modified GCE gave the highest sensitivity and lowest detection limit (0.4 µmol L?1) for differential pulse voltammetric determination of 1‐AN. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy gave information about the processes at the electrode surface. Simultaneous determination of 1‐AN and 2‐AN in a mixture at GCE and their determination in model samples of river water is presented.  相似文献

A glassy carbon electrode (GCE) modified with docosyltrimethylammonium chloride (DCTMACl) is used for simultaneous determination of dopamine (DA) and ascorbic acid (AA) using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) technique in 0.10 mol·L?1 phosphate buffer solution of pH 5.0. The cationic surfactant DCTMACl modified film has a positive charge. DA exists as the positively charged species, whereas AA is the negatively charged one in the solution. Thus, at DCTMACl film-modified GCE, the oxidation peak potential of AA shifts toward less negative potential and the peak current of AA increases a little, while the oxidation peak potential of DA shifts toward more positive potential and peak current decreases greatly in comparison with that on bare electrode. The two anodic peaks are separated around 200 mV. Under optimal conditions, the catalytic peak currents obtained from DPV increase linearly with concentrations of DA and AA in the ranges of 1.0?×?10?5 to 1.0?×?10?3?mol·L?1. This electrode has good reproducibility, high stability in its voltammetric response, and low detection limit (micromolar) for both AA and DA. The modified electrode has been applied to the determination of DA and AA in injection.  相似文献

A sensitive electrochemical method was developed for the determination of bisphenol A (BPA) at a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) modified with a multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs)‐gold nanoparticles (GNPs) hybrid film, which was prepared based on the electrostatic interaction between positively charged cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) and negatively charged MWCNTs and GNPs. The MWCNT‐GNPs/GCE exhibited an enhanced electroactivity for BPA oxidation versus unmodified GCE and MWCNTs/GCE. The experimental parameters, including the amounts of modified MWCNTs and GNPs, the pH of the supporting electrolyte, scan rate and accumulation time, were examined and optimized. Under the optimal conditions, the differential pulse voltammetric anodic peak current of BPA was linear with the BPA concentration from 2.0×10?8 to 2×10?5 mol L?1, with a limit of detection of 7.5 nmol L?1. The proposed procedure was applied to determine BPA leached from real plastic samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A system of Pt nanoparticles and poly(ortho‐phenylenediamine) film electrochemically deposited onto a glassy carbon electrode (GCE/PoPD/Pt) was fabricated. Scanning electron microscopy, Fourier‐transform infrared spectroscopy, and atomic force microscopy techniques were used to identify the surface characteristics of the composite electrode. The conductive polymers and Pt nanoparticles together resulted in a synergistic effect, and the new formed surface was highly active against polyphenolic structures. Rosmarinic acid (RA) and protocatechuic acid (PCA) are phenolic compounds found in plants, and they are used in many applications, particularly as pharmaceuticals. The GCE/PoPD/Pt was used for the simultaneous determination of RA and PCA in a pH 2.0 H2SO4 solution for the first time. The RA and PCA concentrations were determined using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) and chronoamperometry. By the amperometry measurement, for RA and PCA, a linear relation was observed in the concentration ranges of 1–55 μmol L?1 and 1–60 μmol L?1, with detection limits of 0.5 μmol L?1 and 0.6 μmol L?1, respectively. In the simultaneous determination with DPV, the detection limits for both RA and PCA were calculated as 0.7 μmol L?1. The GCE/PoPD/Pt was successfully used for the simultaneous determination of RA and PCA in a real sample, and its accuracy was verified by high‐performance liquid chromatography studies.  相似文献

Within this paper, a glassy carbon electrode modified with single‐walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs?GCE) was prepared, and employed for the determination of clorsulon (Clo), which is a frequently used veterinary drug against common liver fluke. The comprehensive topographical and electrochemical characterizations of bare GCE and SWCNTs?GCE were performed by atomic force microscopy, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, and cyclic voltammetry. Significantly enhanced electrochemical characteristics of SWCNTs?GCE toward a ferrocyanide/ferricyanide redox couple was observed when compared to bare GCE. Further, the prepared sensor was applied for the voltammetric determination of Clo, which was electrochemically investigated for the first time in this work. Voltammetric experiments were performed using square‐wave voltammetry with optimized parameters in phosphate buffer solution, pH 6.8, which was selected as the most suitable medium for the determination of Clo. The corresponding current at approx. +1.1 V increased linearly with Clo concentration within two linear dynamic ranges of 0.75–4.00 μmol L?1 (R2=0.9934) and 4.00–15.00 μmol L?1 (R2=0.9942) with a sensitivity for the first calibration range of 0.76 μA L μmol?1, a limit of detection of 0.19 μmol L?1, and a limit of quantification of 0.64 μmol L?1. The developed method was subsequently applied for quantitative analysis of Clo in milk samples with results proving high repeatability and recovery.  相似文献

A new methodology, based on silver electrocatalytic deposition and designed to quantify gold deposited onto carbon paste electrode (CPE) and glassy carbon electrode (GCE), has been developed in this work. Silver (prepared in 1.0 M NH3) electrodeposition at ?0.13 V occurs only when gold is previously deposited at an adequate potential on the electrode surface for a fixed period of time. When a CPE is used as working electrode, an adequate oxidation of gold is necessary. This oxidation is carried out in both 0.1 M NaOH and 0.1 M H2SO4 at oxidation potentials. When a GCE is used as working electrode, the oxidation steps are not necessary. Moreover, a cleaning step in KCN, which removes gold from electrode surface, is included. To obtain reproducibility in the analytical signal, the surface of the electrodes must be suitably pretreated; this electrodic pretreatment depends on the kind of electrode used as working electrode. Low detection limits (5.0×10?10 M) for short gold deposition times (10 min for CPE and 5 min for GCE) were achieved with this novel methodology. Finally, sodium aurothiomalate can be quantified using silver electrocatalytic deposition and GCE as working electrode. Good linear relationship between silver anodic stripping peak and aurothiomalate concentration was found from 5.0×10?10 M to 1.0×10?8 M.  相似文献

In this work, a glassy carbon electrode (GCE) was modified with multiwall carbon nanotubes/ionic liquid/graphene quantum dots (MWCNTs/IL/GQDs) nanocomposite. Then, the nanocomposite was decorated with nickel‐cobalt nanoparticles (Ni?Co NPs), and it was used as a non‐enzymatic glucose sensor. Field emission scanning electron microscopy, X‐ray diffraction spectroscopy, and energy dispersive spectroscopy were employed to prove the electrodeposition of the Ni?Co NPs on the surface of MWCNTs/IL/GQDs/GCE. Also, cyclic voltammetric and amperometric methods were utilized for the investigation of the electrochemical behaviour of the Ni?Co NPs/MWCNTs/IL/GQDs/GCE for glucose oxidation. The novel amperometric sensor displayed two linear ranges from 1.0 to 190.0 μmol L?1 and 190.0 to 4910 μmol L?1 with a low detection limit of 0.3 μmol L?1 as well as fast response time (2 s) and high stability. Also, the sensor showed good selectivity for glucose determination in the presence of ascorbic acid, citric acid, dopamine, uric acid, fructose, and sucrose, as potential interference species. Finally, the performance of the proposed sensor was investigated for the glucose determination in real samples. Ni?Co NPs/MWCNTs/IL/GQDs/GCE showed good sensitivity and excellent selectivity.  相似文献

The determination of Pb and Cd with a Nafion‐modified glassy carbon electrode and Cu‐DPABA complex (Cu‐DPABA–NA/GCE; DPABA is methyl 3,5‐bis{bis‐[(pyridin‐2‐yl)methyl]amino}methyl‐benzoate) as an alternative electrode for anodic stripping voltammetry was described. Pb and Cd were accumulated in acetate buffer pH 4 at a potential of ?1.4 V (vs. Ag/AgCl electrode) for 120 s followed by a DPASV scan from ?1.2 to ?0.2 V. Under optimum conditions the calibration curves were linear in the range of 4.8×10?9–5.0×10?5 and 5.0×10?9–5×10?5 mol L?1 for Pb and Cd, respectively. Detection limits were 1.8×10?9 and 1.2×10?9 mol L?1 for Pb and Cd, respectively. Different parameters and conditions, such as membrane ingredients, accumulation time, potential and pH value were optimized. A study of interfering substances was also performed. A significant increase in current was achieved at the modified electrode in comparison with the bare glassy carbon electrode. The validation of the proposed method was made by Pb and Cd determination in the certified reference material Groundwater CRM 610 (BCR, Community Bureau of Reference, Brussels, Belgium). The electrode was successfully applied for determination of Pb and Cd in river water with a high content of organic contaminants without any pretreatment.  相似文献

A new sensitive electrochemical sensor was fabricated based on a layer by layer process. In this process the glassy carbon electrode (GCE) is first coated by a thin film of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs). In the next step, the electropolymerization of pyrrole in the presence of Nitrazine Yellow (NY) as a dopant anion is performed on the surface of the MWCNTs precoated electrode. The electrochemical response characteristics of the modified electrode toward naltrexone (NTX) were studied by means of linear sweep voltammetry (LSV). A remarkable increase (~19 times) was observed in the anodic peak current of NTX on the surface of the modified electrode relative to the bare GCE. The effects of experimental parameters on the electrode response such as, drop size of the cast MWCNTs suspension, pH of the supporting electrolyte, accumulation conditions and the number of cycles in the electropolymerization process were investigated. Under the optimum conditions, the modified electrode showed a wide linear response to the concentration of NTX in the range of 4.0×10?8–1×10?5 mol L?1 with a detection limit of 12 nmol L?1. The prepared sensor exhibited high sensitivity, stability and good reproducibility for the determination of NTX. This sensor was successfully applied for the accurate determination of trace amounts of NTX in pharmaceutical and clinical preparations.  相似文献

An electrochemical sensor was fabricated by construction of nickel nanowires on the surface of poly(p‐aminophenol) (PPAP) modified glassy carbon electrode. The electrochemical response of dicofol, a known pesticide and used for agricultural activities such as cyclic voltammetry and differential pulse voltammetry, were investigated and the results were compared with those obtained unmodified electrodes. Following the optimization of NaOH concentration, polymerization cycle number, Ni nanowire amount, the linear range for the dicofol was studied and found as 0.83–30.7 μmol L?1 (R2=0.9981) at Ni/PPAP/GCE with a 0.08 μmol L?1 detection limit according to S/N=3. Finally, the proposed Ni/PPAP/GCE sensor was successfully applied for the dicofol analysis in soil samples. The characterization of the developed surface was carried out by scanning electron microscopy and X‐Ray photoelectron spectroscopy.  相似文献

A multiwalled carbon nanotubes–sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate (MWCNTs–NaDBS) modified stannum film electrode was employed for the determination of cadmium(II) and zinc(II). The Sn/MWCNTs‐NaDBS film electrode was prepared by applying MWCNTs–NaDBS suspension to the surface of the GCE, while the Sn film was plated in situ simultaneously with the target metal ions. Under optimal conditions, linear calibration curves were obtained in a range of 5.0 ?100.0 μg L?1 with detection limits of 0.9 μg L?1 for zinc(II) and 0.8 μg L?1 for cadmium(II), respectively. This film electrode was successfully applied to the determination of Zn(II) and Cd(II) in tap water sample.  相似文献
