The preparation, characterisation and 1H NMR spectra of some N-arylaminopropenylylidenearylammonium salts are reported. The NMR data show that in DMSO the cations exist as conjugated amino–imines, generally as the ‘all-trans’ geometrical isomer. An exception is found in the case of the 4-nitrophenyl derivative which produces a mixture of the ‘all-trans’ and ‘cis-trans’ isomers with slow exchange between them at room temperature. The relative stability of the ‘all-trans’ isomer increases as the salt becomes more ionic. By varying the temperature, pH and nature of the anion it is found that exchange of the N? H protons on the cation controls the appearance of spin-spin coupling between the N? H and 1,3-propene protons.  相似文献

Syntheses and properties of the iron bisphosphinoethane complexes FeH2(PP)2 and FeHCl(PP)2[PP?R2PCH2CH2CH2PR2, where R?Me (PP?DMPE), Et(PP?DEPE), and n-Pr (PP?DprPE)] are reported. The complexes can be formed by reduction of the corresponding dichlorides FeCl2(PP)2 with lithium aluminium hydride in THF solution provided that ethanol or more acidic reagents are not employed during the reaction work-up. The dihydrides are notably basic compounds and can be protonated reversibly by alcohols. The dihydrides exist as equilibrating mixtures of cis and trans isomers in solution. The cis isomers of each of the dihydrides are fluxional on the NMR timescale and NMR studies indicate that the interconversion of cis isomers does not necessarily proceed via the trans isomer.  相似文献

The relative acidities of the cis and trans isomers of a series of 1,5‐oxazaspiro[5.5]undecane derivatives were determined by measuring ΔpK in acid‐base titrations followed by 1 H NMR. Relative structural stabilities were determined by measuring substituent chemical shift and γ‐gauche effects in 13C, 15N, and 17O NMR. The 1H NMR study of 2-alkyl-3-chlorotetrahydropyrans, obtained by reaction of Grignard reagents with a mixture of cis/trans-2,3-dichlorotetrahydropyrans, shows cis/trans configuration of two isomers in which the alkyl substituents are exclusively in the equatorial position. 3-Chloro-2-phenyltetrahydropyran exists in trans (eq-eq) configuration only. The 1H NMR study of cis/trans 2-alkoxy (or aryloxy)-3-chlorotetrahydropyrans, obtained by reaction of alcohols or phenol with 2,3-dichlorotetrahydropyrans, shows the axial position of the alkoxy (or aryloxy) substituent.  相似文献

The mechanism of the trans to cis isomerization in Ru complexes with a chelating alkylidene group has been investigated by using a combined theoretical and experimental approach. Static DFT calculations suggest that a concerted single‐step mechanism is slightly favored over a multistep mechanism, which would require dissociation of one of the ligands from the Ru center. This hypothesis is supported by analysis of the experimental kinetics of isomerization, as followed by 1H NMR spectroscopy. DFT molecular dynamics simulations revealed that the variation of geometrical parameters around the Ru center in the concerted mechanism is highly uncorrelated; the mechanism actually begins with the transformation of the square‐pyramidal trans isomer, with the Ru?CHR bond in the apical position, into a transition state that resembles a metastable square pyramidal complex with a Cl atom in the apical position. This high‐energy structure collapses into the cis isomer. Then, the influence of the N‐heterocyclic carbene ligand, the halogen, and the chelating alkylidene group on the relative stability of the cis and trans isomers, as well as on the energy barrier separating them, was investigated with static calculations. Finally, we investigated the interconversion between cis and trans isomers of the species involved in the catalytic cycle of olefin metathesis; we characterized an unprecedented square‐pyramidal metallacycle with the N‐heterocyclic carbene ligand in the apical position. Our analysis, which is relevant to the exchange of equatorial ligands in other square pyramidal complexes, presents evidence for a remarkable flexibility well beyond the simple cistrans isomerization of these Ru complexes.  相似文献

The synthesis and 1H NMR spectra of the cis and trans monodeuterated isomers of 2-deuterio-1-methyl-1-phenylcyclopropane have been previously reported. We have prepared one of the isomers, c-2-deuterio-r-1-methyl-1-phenylcyclopropane, by a different, stereospecific, route. Model diastereomeric oxazolidinones containing various substituents at positions 3 and 5 were synthesized. Several individual diastereomers bearing methyl groups at positions 4 and 5 in cis-and trans orientations were isolated. The TLC and 1H NMR spectroscopic data suggest that diastereomers, particularly those containing the aryl substituent at position 5, are substantially different in the physical and spectral properties. The configurations of some diastereomers were established by X-ray diffraction and NOESY spectroscopy. For these compounds, the reliable assignment of the characteristic 1H NMR signals of individual groups was made, which provided evidence for the cis or trans orientation of the methyl groups at positions 4 and 5. The scope of the method as applied to the determination of the cis and trans isomers from their 1H NMR spectra is discussed. Published in Russian in Izvestiya Akademii Nauk. The 1H NMR parameters of methyl 3-substituted cis-4-halotetrahydro-2-oxo-3-furancarboxylates are reported, with assignments of the ring protons based on solvent-induced changes in the vicinal trans coupling constants, 3J(H-4, H-5). Preferred conformations, ce with a pseudo-equatorial halogen for the cis isomers and ta with a pseudo-axial halogen for the trans isomers, have been suggested on comparison of the magnitudes of J(trans) and J(gem) in both series. The 3J(13CH3, H-4) values measured for methyl cis-4-bromotetrahydro-3-methyl-3-furancarboxylate, methyl trans-4-bromotetrahydro-3-methyl-3-furancarboxylate and trans-3,4-dibromodihydro-3-methyl-2(3H)-furanone have confirmed the stereochemical assignments.  相似文献

Cobalt(II) bis(diphenylacetato)-bis(-picolinate) is synthesized and its geometrical and conformational isomers are investigated using dynamic NMR and molecular mechanics methods. The complex in the solution is shown to exist as cis and trans isomers, which are detected at 263 K in the course of a slow intermolecular ligand exchange. At T < 223 K, the intramolecular rotation of the phenyl radicals about the O2C–CH(Ph)2 and O2CCH(Ph)–Ph bonds slows, which results in the formation of different conformers. The energies of the retarded intermolecular exchange and of the retarded rotation of the phenyl radicals were calculated from 1H NMR and molecular mechanics data.  相似文献

In the 1H-NMR spectrum of polychloroprene dissolved in C6D6, the ?CH proton signal was separated into two triplet peaks. These triplet signals were assigned to the ?CH proton in the trans-1,4 and cis-1,4 isomers by measurement of 1H-NMR spectra of 3-chloro-1-butene and a mixture of trans- and cis-2-chloro-2-butene as model compounds for the 1,2, trans-1,4 and cis-1,4 isomers. In 1H-NMR spectra (220 Mcps) of polychloroprene dissolved in C6D6, two triplet signals were separated completely from which the relative concentrations of trans-1,4 and cis-1,4 isomers could be obtained quantitatively.  相似文献

The reaction of [TcNCl2(PPh3)2] with 2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine producedcis-[TcNCl2(terpy)] selectively. The resulting complexes were characterized by1H NMR and IR spectroscopy. The geometries of thecis andtrans isomers were estimated by theoretical calculations following a density functional method. Thecis isomer is likely more stable than thetrans one with respect to thetrans influence of the nitrido ligand. Furthermore, the behavior of nitridotechnetium complexes in polar solvents was compared to Os-analogues.  相似文献

Ion-molecule reactions with the trimethylsilyl ion were used to distinguish between cis- and trans-1,2-cyclopentanediol isomers. The ion kinetic energy of [Si(CH3)3]+ was varied from 0 eV to 15 eV (center of mass frame of reference). At low ion kinetic energies (<4 eV), there are significant differences in the relative stabilities and decomposition behavior of the adduct ions [M + Si(CH3)3]+. The cis-1,2-cyclopentanediol isomer favors decomposition of [M + Si(CH3)3]+ to yield the hydrated trimethylsilyl ion [Si(CH3)3OH2]+ at m/z 91. For the trans isomer, the formation of the hydrated trimethylsilyl ion is an endothermic process with a definite threshold ion kinetic energy.  相似文献

Irradiation cis-[M(Ln-S,O)2] complexes (M = PtII, PdII) derived from N,N-dialkyl-N′-benzoylthioureas (HLn) with various sources of intense visible polychromatic or monochromatic light with λ < 500 nm leads to light-induced cis?→?trans isomerization in organic solvents. In all cases, white light derived from several sources or monochromatic blue-violet laser 405 nm light, efficiently results in substantial amounts of the trans isomer appearing in solution, as shown by 1H NMR and/or reversed-phase HPLC separation in dilute solutions at room temperature. The extent and relative rates of cis/trans isomerization induced by in situ laser light (λ = 405 nm) of cis-[Pd(L2-S,O)2] was directly monitored by 1H NMR and 195Pt NMR spectroscopy of selected cis-[Pt(L-S,O)2] compounds in chloroform-d; both with and without light irradiation allows the δ(195Pt) chemical shifts cis/trans isomer pairs to be recorded. The cis/trans isomers appear to be in a photo-thermal equilibrium between the thermodynamically favored cis isomer and its trans counterpart. In the dark, the trans isomer reverts back to the cis complex in what is probably a thermal process. The light-induced cis/trans process is the key to preparing and isolating the rare trans complexes which cannot be prepared by conventional synthesis as confirmed by the first example of trans-[Pd(L-S,O)2] characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction, deliberately prepared after photo-induced isomerization in acetonitrile solution.  相似文献

Substitution of the phenyl group in 2‐hydroxychalcones by a 4‐pyridine unit dramatically changes the network of chemical reactions of this compound: trans‐chalcone‐type ( Ct ), cis‐chalcone‐type ( Cc ), and a hemiketal (hydroxy‐4‐pyridinechromene) ( B ) and their protonated forms are formed, but the presence of a flavylium‐type cation could not be detected even at very acidic pH values. Moreover, whereas in 2‐phenyl‐2‐benzopyrylium compounds B and Cc are generally elusive species whose kinetic processes in aqueous solutions occur on the sub‐second timescale, in the present compound these species equilibrate on a timescale four orders of magnitude lower. Complete characterization of the equilibrium and kinetics of the reaction network could thus be achieved by 1H NMR spectroscopy and UV/Vis spectrophotometry. The network of chemical reactions exhibits cistrans photoisomerization, as well as photochromism between the hemiketal and the chalcone‐type species. The irradiation of Ct in MeOH/H2O (1:1) at 365 nm produces B almost quantitatively through two consecutive photochemical reactions: Ct → Cc photoisomerization followed by Cc → B photo ring closure with a global quantum yield of 0.02. On the other hand, irradiation of B at 254 nm leads to a photostationary state composed by 80 % Ct and 20 % B , with a quantum yield of 0.21.  相似文献

A commercial mixture of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) isomers, reportedly consisting of six components, was recently resolved into 12 peaks attributed to CLA isomers using silver-ion high performance liquid chromatography (Ag+-HPLC). In this study, the coupling of two analytical silver-ion high performance liquid chromatography columns (tandem-column Ag+-HPLC) in series led to the enhanced resolution of CLA isomers. Many CLA isomers were baseline resolved and the pair 18 : 2 8,10 c/t and 18 : 2 7,9 c/t found in cheese products, was resolved for the first time. In this work, a similar commercial CLA mixture was separated into 16 peaks, while CLA isomers from cheese also gave rise to 16 peaks. As expected, the CLA isomers were separated into three geometric groups in the order trans,trans, cis/trans, and cis,cis. Semi-preparative Ag+-HPLC, followed by gas chromatography–mass spectroscopy of the dimethyloxazoline derivatives, was used to confirm the identity of the newly resolved positional CLA isomers. The double bond configuration of CLA isomers was established by gas chromatography–Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. Two minor t,t CLA isomers found in cheese, presumably 18 : 2 t6t8 and 18 : 2 t13t15, were also separated. The CLA isomeric composition of 16 commercial cheese products was determined.  相似文献

The rates of interconversion of the cis and trans rotational isomers of N-trifluoroacetyl-N-methylbenzylamine have been determined by a variety of NMR lineshape experiments and by several double resonance methods. Comparison of the results for the slow exchange region suggests that a Fourier transform version of the transfer of saturation method of Forsen and Hoffman, as well as transfer of magnetization after selective 180° inversion of the resonance of one rotamer, give rate constants nearly as reliable as lineshape methods. Use of the rate of signal recovery after saturation of the resonance of one rotamer gave results which were less accurate. The available data produced the following activation parameters for amide rotation in this compound: ΔG?, 18.9 kcal mol?1; ΔH?, 22.3 kcal mol?1 and ΔS?, 9.8 e.u. when the solute was 2 M in 1,1,2,2-tetrachloroethane-d2.  相似文献

Cis and trans isomers of a series of double‐decker silsesquioxanes (DDSQ) were characterized by two‐dimensional NMR techniques. The 1H NMR spectra of these species have not previously been assigned to a degree that allows for quantification. Thus, 1H–29Si HMBC correlations were applied to facilitate 1H spectral assignment and also to confirm previous 29Si assignments for this class of silsesquioxanes. With the ability to identify all the pertinent resonances of the 1H NMR spectrum, 29Si NMR is no longer required for quantification and required only for characterization. This not only saves time and material but also provides a more accurate quantification, thus allowing for the ratio of cis and trans isomers present in each compound to be determined. A more accurate measure of the cis/trans ratio enables the investigation of its influence on the physical and chemical properties of DDSQ nanostructured materials. 1,3-Tetrahydro-oxazine-2-ones were prepared by the reaction of cis- and trans-2-hydroxymethylcyclohexylamine, as well as cis- and trans-2-aminomethylcyclohexanol with carbamide. Their structure and stereochemical purity were proved by IR and NMR investigations. With the help of the NMR spectra the conformation of these compounds was established. The trans isomers exist in stable chair-chair conformation. Two chair-chair conformations are possible in the case of the cis isomers; one in which the heteroatom and the methylene group of the heteroring are axial and equatorial, respectively and the second in which their positions are reversed. It was proved that the cis isomers are conformationally homogeneous, having the hetero atom in axial position.  相似文献

The principal decomposition routes of molecular ions of cis, cis, cis-2,4,6-octatriene, cis, cis, trans-2,4,6-octatriene, trans, cis, trans-2,4,6-octatriene, trans-5,6-dimethyl-1,3-cyclohexadiene and cis-5,6-dimethyl-1,3-cyclohexadiene were studied using ion kinetic spectroscopy. The loss of radicals from [M]+· appears to proceed via a ground state, while loss of a neutral molecule appears to involve either complete equilibration of structure within the system or both ground state and excited state pathways.  相似文献

The 15NMR chemical shifts were measured of a number of N-substituted formamides and acetamides at the natural abundance level. The ratios of the cis and trans isomers for several N-alkylformamides were also determined. Substituent effects on the 15N chemical shifts of formamides are compared with those of some other nitrogen-containing compounds. There is a consistent pattern of behavior of the one bond spin–spin coupling constants [1J(15NH)] wherein the trans isomers of N-alkylformamides are larger than those of the cis isomers.  相似文献
