The hydrothermal reactions of CuBr2, CuX (X=Br, I), and phen (phen=1,10-phenanthroline, C12H8N2) have lead to the syntheses of two novel complexes of one-dimensional [Cu4Br2I3(phen)2] n 1 and trinuclear discrete cluster Cu3Br3(phen)2 2. Both compounds were characterized by singe-crystal X-ray diffraction. Crystal data for 1. Monoclinic, space group P2 1/c with a=14.054(3) Å, b=13.700(3) Å, c=15.920(3) Å, =114.16(3)°, Z=2; 2. NC12H8(NH)2[Gd(N3C12H8)4] and [Gd(N3C12H8)3(N3C12H9)]·PhCN: A Contribution to the Reactivity and Crystal Chemistry of Homoleptic Pyridylbenzimidazolates of the Rare Earth Elements Transparent colourless crystals of the compound NC12H8(NH)2[Gd(N3C12H8)4] were obtained by solvent‐free reaction of gadolinium metal with molten 2‐(2‐Pyridyl)‐benzimidazole. Transparent yellow crystals of the compound [Gd(N3C12H8)3(N3C12H9)]·PhCN were obtained by further reacting NC12H8(NH)2[Gd(N3C12H8)4] with benzonitrile thermally. Both compounds exhibit homoleptic pure nitrogen coordinations of gadolinium, the PhCN ligand is not coordinating. Whilst NC12H8(NH)2[Gd(N3C12H8)4] is salt like and consists of (NC12H8(NH)2)+ and [Gd(N3C12H8)4] ions, [Gd(N3C12H8)3(N3C12H9)]·PhCN has a molecular structure of uncharged [Gd(N3C12H8)3(N3C12H9)] units.  相似文献

The tris‐bidentate complex [Ni(C12H8N2)2(CO3)] was synthesized by the reaction of Na2CO3, 1,10‐phenanthroline (phen = C12H8N2) and NiSO4 · 6 H2O in the presence of succinic acid in a CH3OH–H2O solution. The compound crystallizes as heptahydrate. The crystal structure (monoclinic, P21/c (no. 14), a = 9.897(1), b = 26.384(2), c = 10.582(1) Å, β = 105.87(1)°, Z = 4, R = 0.0505, wR2 = 0.1029 for 3166 observed reflections (F ≥ 2σ(F ) out of 6100 unique reflections) consists of hydrogen bonded water molecules and [Ni(phen)2(CO3)] complex molecules. The Ni atoms are sixfold octahedrally coordinated by the four N atoms of two bidentate chelating phen ligands and by two O atoms of the bidentate chelating carbonate group with d(Ni–N) = 2.092–2.100 Å, d(Ni–O) = 2.051, 2.079 Å. The complex molecules are stacked into 2D corrugated layers parallel to (010) via two types of intermolecular π‐π stacking interactions. One occurs between two quinoline rings of neighboring phen ligands at the distance of 3.63 Å in [010] direction and the other results from 1D π‐π stacking interactions through partially covered phen rings at alternative distances of 3.26 Å and 3.33 Å in [001] direction. The water molecules are sandwiched between 2D layers.  相似文献

Reactions of a freshly prepared Zn(OH)2‐2x(CO3)x · yH2O precipitate, phenanthroline with azelaic and sebacic acid in CH3OH/H2O afforded [Zn(phen)(C9H15O4)2] ( 1 ) and [Zn2(phen)2(H2O)2(C10H16O4)2] · 3H2O ( 2 ), respectively. They were structurally characterized by X‐ray diffraction methods. Compound 1 consists of complex molecules [Zn(phen)(C9H15O4)2] in which the Zn atoms are tetrahedrally coordinated by two N atoms of one phen ligand and two O atoms of different monodentate hydrogen azelaato groups. Intermolecular C(alkyl)‐H···π interactions and the intermolecular C(aryl)‐H···O and O‐H···O hydrogen bonds are responsible for the supramolecular assembly of the [Zn(phen)(C9H15O4)2] complexes. Compound 2 is built up from crystal H2O molecules and the centrosymmetric binuclear [Zn2(phen)2(H2O)2(C10H16O4)2] complex, in which two [Zn(phen)(H2O)]2+ moieties are bridged by two sebacato ligands. Through the intermolecular C(alkyl)‐H···O hydrogen bonds and π‐π stacking interactions, the binuclear complex molecules are assembled into layers, between which the lattice H2O molecules are sandwiched. Crystal data: ( 1 ) C2/c (no. 15), a = 13.887(2), b = 9.790(2), c = 22.887(3)Å, β = 107.05(1)°, U = 2974.8(8)Å3, Z = 4; ( 2 ) P1¯ (no. 2), a = 8.414(1), b = 10.679(1), c = 14.076(2)Å, α = 106.52(1)°, β = 91.56(1)°, γ = 99.09(1)°, U = 1193.9(2)Å3, Z = 1.  相似文献

The title octahedral complexes, [bis(pyridine‐2‐carbonyl)aminate]dichloro(methanol)iron(III), [Fe(C12H8N3O2)Cl2‐(CH4O)], and [bis(pyridine‐2‐carbonyl)aminate]dichloro‐(ethanol)iron(III), [Fe(C12H8N3O2)Cl2(C2H6O)], both crystallize in space group and have similar structures. Monoanionic bpca? [bis(pyridine‐2‐carbonyl)aminate] acts as a planar tridentate ligand in both cases. Coordination bond distances are in the range typical of high‐spin FeIII complexes. Carbon–oxygen distances are typical of a C=O double bond suggesting the negative charge of the bpca? ligand is localized on the central N atom.  相似文献

The structure of the title compound, poly[(dihydrogenphosphato‐κO)(μ3‐hydrogenphosphato)di‐μ‐oxido‐(1,10‐phenanthroline)copper(II)vanadium(V)], [CuV(HPO4)(H2PO4)O2(C12H8N2)]n, is defined by [(phen)Cu–μ‐(κ2O:O′‐VP2O10H3)2–Cu(phen)] units (phen is 1,10‐phenanthroline), which are connected to neighbouring units through vanadyl bridges. Neighbouring chains have no covalent bonds between them, although they interdigitate through the phen groups viaπ–π interactions.  相似文献

The title compound, [Mn(C12H8N2)2(H2O)2](C4H4O4S)·[Mn(C4H4O4S)(C12H8N2)2]·13H2O, contains one dianion of thiodiglycolic acid (tdga2−) and two independent manganese(II) moieties, viz. [Mn(phen)2(H2O)2]2+ and [Mn(tdga)(phen)2], where phen is 1,10‐phenanthroline. The MnII atoms are octahedrally coordinated by four N atoms of two bidentate phen ligands [Mn—N = 2.240 (2)–2.3222 (19) Å] and either two water O atoms or two tdga carboxyl O atoms [Mn—O = 2.1214 (17)–2.1512 (17) Å]. The tdga ligand chelates as an O,O′‐bidentate ligand, forming an eight‐membered ring with one Mn atom. The free tdga2− dianion is hydrogen bonded to an [Mn(phen)2(H2O)2]2+ ion, with O⋯O distances of 2.606 (2) and 2.649 (2) Å. The crystal structure is further stabilized by an extensive network of hydrogen bonds involving 13 water molecules.  相似文献

Reactions of 1,10‐phenanthroline monohydrate, Na2C4H4O4 · 6 H2O and MnSO4 · H2O in CH3OH/H2O yielded a mixture of [Mn2(H2O)4(phen)2(C4H4O4)2] · 2 H2O ( 1 ) and [Mn(phen)2(H2O)2][Mn(phen)2(C4H4O4)](C4H4O4) · 7 H2O ( 2 ). The crystal structure of 1 (P1 (no. 2), a = 8.257(1) Å, b = 8.395(1) Å, c = 12.879(2) Å, α = 95.33(1)°, β = 104.56(1)°, γ = 106.76(1)°, V = 814.1(2) Å3, Z = 1) consists of the dinuclear [Mn2(H2O)4(phen)2(C4H4O4)2] molecules and hydrogen bonded H2O molecules. The centrosymmetric dinuclear molecules, in which the Mn atoms are octahedrally coordinated by two N atoms of one phen ligand and four O atoms from two H2O molecules and two bis‐monodentate succinato ligands, are assembled via π‐π stacking interactions into 2 D supramolecular layers parallel to (101) (d(Mn–O) = 2.123–2.265 Å, d(Mn–N) = 2.307 Å). The crystal structure of 2 (P1 (no. 2), a = 14.289(2) Å, b = 15.182(2) Å, c = 15.913(2) Å, α = 67.108(7)°, β = 87.27(1)°, γ = 68.216(8)°, V = 2934.2(7) Å3, Z = 2) is composed of the [Mn(phen)2(H2O)2]2+ cations, [Mn(phen)2(C4H4O4)] complex molecules, (C4H4O4)2– anions, and H2O molecules. The (C4H4O4)2– anions and H2O molecules form 3 D hydrogen bonded network and the cations and complex molecules in the tunnels along [001] and [011], respectively, are assembled via the π‐π stacking interactions into 1 D supramolecular chains. The Mn atoms are octahedrally coordinated by four N atoms of two bidentate chelating phen ligands and two water O atoms or two carboxyl O atoms (d(Mn–O) = 2.088–2.129 Å, d(Mn–N) = 2.277–2.355 Å). Interestingly, the succinato ligands in the complex molecules assume gauche conformation bidentately to chelate the Mn atoms into seven‐membered rings.  相似文献

The title saccharinate complexes, aqua[1,2‐benzisothiazol‐3(2H)‐onato 1,1‐dioxide‐N]bis(1,10‐phenanthroline‐N,N′)manganese(II) 1,2‐benzisothiazol‐3(2H)‐onate 1,1‐dioxide,[Mn(C7H4NO3S)(C12H8N2)2(H2O)](C7H4NO3S), and aqua[1,2‐benzisothiazol‐3(2H)‐onato 1,1‐dioxide‐N]bis(2,2′‐bipyridine‐N,N′)cobalt(II) 1,2‐benzisothiazol‐3(2H)‐onate 1,1‐dioxide, [Co(C7H4NO3S)(C10H8N2)2(H2O)](C7H4NO3S), have been prepared and their crystal structures determined at 150 K. The structure of the manganese complex consists of repeated alternating [Mn(phen)2(sac)(H2O)]+ cations and non‐coordinated saccharinate anions. The water molecule, bound to manganese as part of a slightly distorted octahedral arrangement, is hydrogen bonded to an O atom of the SO2 group in the saccharinate counter‐ion. In contrast, the cobalt complex has one pseudo‐octahedral [Co(bipy)2(sac)(H2O)]+ cation, with the cobalt‐bound water molecule hydrogen bonded to the N atom of the accompanying free saccharinate anion.  相似文献

The stoichiometric reaction of 1,10‐phenanthroline (phen), iminodiacetic acid (IDA‐H2) and Cu(ClO4)2 in a H2O–CH3OH (2:1) solution yields μ‐iminodiacetato‐2:1κ4O,N,O′:O′′‐tris(1,10‐phenanthroline)‐1κ4N,N′;2κ2N,N′‐dicopper(II) diperchlorate methanol solvate, [Cu2(C4H5NO4)(C12H8N2)3](ClO4)2·CH3OH. The IDA ligand bridges the two CuII ions via a carboxylate group and uses one further N and an O atom of the second carboxylate group to complete a fac‐tridentate coordination at one Cu centre. A phen ligand completes a distorted square‐pyramidal coordination at this metal atom, although there is weak coordination by a perchlorate O atom at a sixth position. The second Cu centre has a distorted trigonal–bipyramidal coordination to two phen moieties and a carboxylate O atom.  相似文献

In the title compound, [Ru(C10H8N2)2(C12H8N2)][Pt(CN)4], cations and anions alternate along the a axis to afford a one‐dimensional network. The one‐dimensional character arises from the π–π stacking as well as from the electrostatic interactions formed between the phen (1,10‐phenanthroline) and [Pt(CN)4]2− units. Two adjacent one‐dimensional chains form further stacks based on the π–π stacking interactions between the phen moieties, where the interplanar spacing is 3.50 (1) Å.  相似文献

Europium(Ⅲ) compound with 2-oxopropionic acid salicyloyl hydrazone (C_(10)H_(10)N_2O_4,H_3L) and 1,10-phenan-throline (C_(12)H_8N_2,phen) has been prepared.A yellow prismatic crystal of the compound was obtained, and themolecule crystallized in the triclinic space group P-1.There are two 9-coordinated complex molecules in everystructure unit, where every Eu atom is coordinated by three water molecules and two tridentate C_(10)H_(10)N_2O_4 ligands, forming two stable pentacycles. The coordination polyhedron around Eu~(3+) was described as a single cap squareantiprism. In the crystal cell, there are one free 1,10-phenanthroline and four water molecules. The thermaldecomposition of the compound and its kinetics were studied by non-isothermal thermogravimetry. The Kissinger'smethod and Ozawa's method were used to calculate the activation energy value of the first-step decomposition.Thestages of the decompositions were identified by TG-DTG-DSC curve. The non-isothermal kinetic data were ana-lyzed by means of integral and differential methods. The possible reaction mechanism and the kinetic equationswere investigated by comparing the kinetic parameters.  相似文献

The reaction of CuCl2 · 2 H2O, 1,10‐phenanthroline (phen), suberic acid and Na2CO3 in a CH3CN–H2O solution yielded blue needle‐like crystals of [Cu2(phen)2(C8H12O4)2] · 3 H2O. The crystal structure (monoclinic, P21/n, a = 10.756(2) Å, b = 9.790(2) Å, c = 18.593(4) Å, β = 91.15(3)°, Z = 2, R = 0.043, wR2 = 0.1238) consists of suberato‐bridged [Cu2(phen)2(C8H12O4)4/2] layers and hydrogen bonded H2O molecules. The Cu atoms are coordinated by two N atoms from one bidentate chelating phen ligand and three carboxyl O atoms from different suberato ligands to form distorted [CuN2O3] square‐pyramids with one carboxyl O atom at the apical position (d(Cu–N) = 2.017(2), 2.043(3) Å, basal d(Cu–O) = 1.936(2), 1.951(2) Å and axial d(Cu–O) = 2.389(2) Å). Two [CuN2O3] square‐pyramids are condensed via a common O–O edge to a centrosymmetric [Cu2N4O4] dimer with the Cu…Cu distance of 3.406(1) Å indicating no interaction between Cu atoms. The resultant [Cu2N4O4] dimers are interlinked by the tridentate suberato ligands to form [Cu2(phen)2(C8H12O4)4/2] layers parallel to (101). These are assembled via π‐π stacking interactions into 3D network with H2O molecules in the tunnels extending in the [010] direction.  相似文献

The Cu atoms are fivefold coordinated by two Cl atoms, two N atoms of phen ligands and one O atom of the adipate anion, forming [CuCl2N2O] square pyramids with an axial Cl atom (d(Cu–O) = 1.958 Å, d(Cu–N) = 2.017–2.033 Å, d(Cu–Cl) = 2.281 Å; axial d(Cu–Cl) = 2.724 Å). Two square pyramids are condensed via the common Cl–Cl edge to centrosymmetric [Cu2Cl2N4O2] dimers, which are connected via the adipate anions to form the [(Cu2(phen)2Cl2)(C6H8O4)2/2] chains. The supramolecular 3 D network results from π‐π stacking interactions between the chains. H2O molecules are located in tunnels.  相似文献
