The X‐ray analyses of some neutral and cationic derivatives of 2‐(4‐methylpyridin‐2‐yl)‐1H‐benzimida‐zole are reported and the structural data tentatively correlated to relative UV‐visible properties. A rotation of the γ‐picoline ring with respect to the benzimidazole moiety may be responsible of the spectral behavior.  相似文献

Methyl 2‐acetamido‐2‐deoxy‐β‐d ‐glucopyranoside (β‐GlcNAcOCH3), (I), crystallizes from water as a dihydrate, C9H17NO6·H2O, containing two independent molecules [denoted (IA) and (IB)] in the asymmetric unit, whereas the crystal structure of methyl 2‐formamido‐2‐deoxy‐β‐d ‐glucopyranoside (β‐GlcNFmOCH3), (II), C8H15NO6, also obtained from water, is devoid of solvent water molecules. The two molecules of (I) assume distorted 4C1 chair conformations. Values of ϕ for (IA) and (IB) indicate ring distortions towards BC2,C5 and C3,O5B, respectively. By comparison, (II) shows considerably more ring distortion than molecules (IA) and (IB), despite the less bulky N‐acyl side chain. Distortion towards BC2,C5 was observed for (II), similar to the findings for (IA). The amide bond conformation in each of (IA), (IB) and (II) is trans, and the conformation about the C—N bond is anti (C—H is approximately anti to N—H), although the conformation about the latter bond within this group varies by ∼16°. The conformation of the exocyclic hydroxymethyl group was found to be gt in each of (IA), (IB) and (II). Comparison of the X‐ray structures of (I) and (II) with those of other GlcNAc mono‐ and disaccharides shows that GlcNAc aldohexopyranosyl rings can be distorted over a wide range of geometries in the solid state.  相似文献

The ureidation reactions of 2‐ and 4‐picoline N‐oxides with 2‐chloro‐4,5‐dihydroimidazole are described. A mechanism of novel thioureidation reaction of 4‐picoline N‐oxide with 2‐(4,5‐dihydro‐1H‐imidazol‐2‐ylthioxy)‐4,5‐dihydro‐1H‐imidazole is proposed. Structural assignment is confirmed by 1H and 13C nmr as well as by X‐ray crystallography.  相似文献

Cyclization of N‐acyl‐2‐hydroxy‐2‐(trifluoromethyl)arylethylamines 4 under Pictet‐Gams conditions afforded 2‐oxazolines 5 instead of the expected isoquinolines 6 . The effect of the trifluoromethyl group on the result of the reaction is discussed.  相似文献

Stereochemical course of the reaction of homophthalic anhydride and N‐(1‐methyl‐1H‐pyrrol‐2‐yl‐methylidene)‐phenethylamine was studied. Mixtures of the expected trans‐ and cis‐1,2,3,4‐tetrahydroiso‐quinoline‐4‐carboxylic acids trans‐ 4 and cis‐ 4 were obtained along with by‐products 5 and 6 . The ratios of all products and the diastereomers, obtained under different reaction conditions, were established by pmr. THF as a solvent and ultrasonic treatment are applied for the first time in the reaction of this type. The reaction was made diastereoselective towards any isomer. The carboxylic group of trans‐ 4 was transformed in four steps into various cyclic amino‐methyl groups yielding numerous new tetrahydroisoquinolinones trans‐ 10a‐i incorporating a given fragment of pharmacological interest. Reduction of 10a‐i was studied.  相似文献

In the crystal structure of the title compound, C9H14N2O3, the molecules are linked by N—H?O=C bonds into chains parallel to [001]. Large crystals are readily obtained, presumably because of the hydrogen bonds and an energetically stable conformation of the mol­ecule.  相似文献
