Phytoremediation has been investigated as an alternative to excavation to remediate contamination in soil. In this work, Allium fistulosum (green onions) and Pteris cretica cv Mayii (moonlight ferns) were investigated for phytoremediation. Green onions were planted in lead-spiked soil, and chelating agents were introduced to enhance the uptake of lead by the plants. Lead uptake was low in the absence of chelating reagents. Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) significantly enhanced the concentration of lead in the stems of green onions, while propylenediaminetetraacetic acid (PDTA) did not induce lead absorption.Moonlight ferns (P. cretica cv Mayii) were planted in a hydroponic system to which arsenic (III), arsenic (V), and monomethylarsenate (MMA) were added with hydroponic solution. Ferns exposed to arsenic (III) showed the highest extraction of arsenic followed by ferns exposed to arsenic (V). The extraction of arsenic by the ferns was higher when arsenic (III) was mixed with arsenic (V) than the combination of arsenic (III) and MMA. These results suggest that inorganic arsenic is phytoextracted preferentially to MMA.  相似文献

Two novel tricyclic diterpenoids rubescensins U (1) and V (2) were isolated from the leaves of Isodon rubescens var. taihangensis. They were elucidated as a 8,15-seco-ent-kauranoid and an ent-abietanoid, respectively, by 1D and 2D NMR spectra, and single crystal X-ray analysis. Compound 1 is the first example of an 8,15-seco-ent-kaurane from the plants genus Isodon. A discussion of their biogenesis is described.  相似文献

Pressurized fluid extraction (PFE) was examined as an alternative technology for the extraction of carotenoids in the green algae Haematococcus pluvialis and Dunaliella salina and kavalactones in Piper methysticum. The extraction process was optimized by varying the key extraction factors of solvent, sample-solvent ratio, temperature, and time. The selectivity and efficiency of extraction parameters were determined with high performance liquid chromatography (LC) and LC-mass spectrometry (LC-MS). Results showed that PFE utilization of conventional solvents under controlled temperature and pressure in an oxygen and light-free environment could result in the use of less solvent in a shorter period of time. PFE showed higher or equal extraction efficiencies as compared with traditional solvent extractions while maintaining the integrity of chemical components. PFE showed high potential for extraction of natural products and nutraceuticals, particularly labile and light sensitive chemicals.  相似文献

High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) was employed in the fingerprint analysis of Angelica sinensis (Oliv.) Diels. A chromatographic profile of A. sinensis (Oliv.) Diels from the Dingxi District of Gansu province, China, was established as the characteristic fingerprint. The feasibility and advantages of employing chromatographic fingerprint combined with discriminant analysis were investigated and demonstrated for the evaluation of A. sinensis (Oliv.) Diels for the first time. Our results showed that the chromatographic fingerprint combining with discriminant analysis can efficiently distinguish A. sinensis (Oliv.) Mycelia of Aspergillus oryzae display high enantioselectivity towards (R)-flurbiprofen and can be efficiently used in pure organic solvent for the resolution of (R,S)-flurbiprofen through esterification. The use of the lyophilized mycelia facilitates the separation process so that in one step the two enantiomers of flurbiprofen, which are both valuable for pharmaceutical applications, can be easily separated. The biotransformation can be carried out in different apolar solvents using different primary alcohols as nucleophiles under very mild conditions.  相似文献

Twenty nine 6,7-seco-ent-kaurane-type diterpenoids including 18 new ones, laxiflorolides C–T (118), along with 21 known ones were obtained from Isodon eriocalyx var. laxiflora. Laxiflorolides E–G (35) are the first identified naturally occurring 6,7-seco-ent-kauranoids that feature a 3,6-epoxy unit, and laxiflorolide M (11) is the first identified naturally occurring 6-nor-6,7-seco-ent-kauranoid. The absolute configurations of compounds 1, 3, 6, and 11 were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses. The cytotoxic activity of the isolates was evaluated by an MTT assay.  相似文献

Treatment of the chloro-bridged dinuclear complex [Pd{3,4-(MeO)2C6H2C(H)N(Cy)-C6,N}(μ-Cl)]2 (1) with homobidentate [P,P], [As,As], [N,N], and heterobidentate [P,As], [P,N] ligands in a 1:1 molar ratio gave the dinuclear complexes [{Pd[3,4-(MeO)2C6H2C(H)N(Cy)-C6,N](Cl)}2{μ-L}] (L = Ph2PC4H6(NH)CH2PPh2 (2); Ph2As(CH2)2AsPh2 (3); 1,3-(NH2CH2)2C6H4 (4); Ph2P(CH2)2AsPh2 (5); Ph2P(CH2)2NH2 (6)), with the bidentate ligands bridging the two cyclometallated fragments.The reaction with the homobidentate ligands in a 1:2 molar ratio in the presence of NaClO4 afforded the mononuclear compounds [[Pd{3,4-(MeO)2C6H2C(H)N(Cy)-C6,N}{L-P,P}][ClO4] (L = Ph2PC4H6(NH)CH2PPh2 (7); (o-Tol)2P(CH2)2P(o-Tol)2 (8)), [Pd{3,4-(MeO)2C6H2C(H)N(Cy)-C6,N}{Ph2As(CH2)2AsPh2-As,As}][ClO4] (9) and [Pd{3,4-(MeO)2C6H2C(H)N(Cy)-C6,N}{L-N,N}][ClO4] (L = NH2(CH2)3NH2 (10); NH2(C6H8)CH2(C6H8)NH2 (11); 1,3-(NH2CH2)2C6H4 (12); 1,3-(NH2)2C5H3N (13); NH2(C6H4)O(C6H4)NH2 (14); NMe2(CH2)2NMe2 (15)), in which the chloro ligands are absent and the bidentate ligands are chelated to the palladium atom.Reaction of 1 with Ph2P(CH2)2AsPh2 in 1:2 molar ratio in acetone in the presence of NH4PF6 afforded the analogous mononuclear compound [Pd{3,4-(MeO)2C6H2C(H)N(Cy)-C6,N}{Ph2P(CH2)2AsPh2-P,As}][PF6] (16); whereas reaction with Ph2P(CH2)3NH2 gave [Pd{3,4-(MeO)2C6H2C(H)N(Cy)-C6,N}{Ph2P(CH2)3N(CMe2)-P,N}][PF6] (17), derived from intermolecular condensation between the aminophosphine and acetone. Condensation of the NH2 group was precluded by change of solvent, using dichloromethane.Iminophoshines also reacted with 1 in 1:2 molar ratio in acetone to give a new series of mononuclear cyclometallated complexes: [Pd{3,4-(MeO)2C6H2C(H)N(Cy)-C6,N}{L-P,N}][ClO4] (L = Ph2PC6H4C(H)NCy (20); Ph2PC6H4C(H)NC(CH3)3 (21); Ph2PC6H4C(H)NNMe2 (22); Ph2PC6H4C(H)NNHMe (23); Ph2PC6H4C(H)NNHPh (24)). Analogous complexes with a stable P,O-chelate were obtained using bidentate [P,O] donor ligands: [Pd{3,4-(MeO)2C6H2C(H)N(Cy)-C6,N}{L-P,O}][Cl] (L = 2-(Ph2P)C6H4CHO (25); Ph2PN(Me)C(O)Me (26)).The crystal structures of compounds 1, 5, 15, 16, 18, 20 have been determined by X-ray crystallography.  相似文献

Four novel compounds, makomotines A to D (14), along with two known ones (5, 6) were isolated from Makomotake, Zizania latifolia infected with Ustilago esculenta. 3- and 4-N,N-Dialkylaminobenzonitriles and 4-chloro-(N,N-dialkyl)benzamidines were isolated by reacting 4-chlorobenzonitrile with hindered lithium amides under thermodynamic (0 °C) and kinetic control conditions (−78 °C), respectively. As previously reported, a benzyne mechanism seems to be confirmed since N,N-dialkylaminobenzonitriles are formed. Only benzamidines were isolated in fair to high yields at both 0 °C and −78 °C with non-hindered lithium amides. Exploitation and mechanistic rationale of the reaction of different halobenzonitriles are also reported.  相似文献

Eleven Lycopodium alkaloids with lycodine-type, lycopodine-type, and fawcettimine-related skeletons were isolated from the whole plants of Huperzia carinata (Desv. Ex. Poir.) Trevis and Huperzia squarrosa (G. Forst) Trevis (Huperziaceae). Among them, 8,15-dihydrohuperzine A (2), lycocarinatine A (3), and lycoposerramine U N-oxide (11) are new compounds. The structures of these new alkaloids were elucidated on the basis of 2D NMR correlations. Some of these isolated alkaloids were assayed for acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitory activity.  相似文献

Three novel asymmetric ent-kaurane dimers xindongnins M-O (1-3) were isolated from Isodon rubescens var. rubescens. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods including 2D NMR analysis. The relative stereochemistry of 1 was determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction, which also confirmed the unique linkage of a single carbon-carbon bond between the two subunits of this dimer. A biogenetic pathway was proposed for the formation of these dimers.  相似文献

A Pseudomonas sp. was cultured which was associated with the Japanese seaweed Diginea sp. Crude extracts prepared from this bacterial culture were found to inhibit the growth of other marine bacterial strains. From this bacterial culture, two new peptides cyclo-[phenylalanyl-prolyl-leucyl-prolyl] (3) and cyclo-[isoleucyl-prolyl-leucyl-alanyl] (4) have been isolated together with two known peptides (1) and (2). The crude extract from a culture of Pseudoalteromonas sp. associated with the Thai sponge Halisarca ectofibrosa was found to inhibit the growth of Bacillus subtilis and Vibrio anguillarum. Isolation studies yielded a fraction containing two peptides that were identified as cyclo-[phenylalanyl-leucyl]2 (5) and cyclo-[leucyl-isoleucyl]2 (6) by means of LC-MS and 2D NMR data. Absolute stereochemistry was confirmed by the synthesis of cyclo-[l-phenylalanyl-l-leucyl]2. Peptides (1)-(3) were also isolated from this bacterial strain. None of the individual peptides isolated in this study showed antibiotic activity.  相似文献

A series of imidazo[2,1-b]thiazole and benzo[d]thiazolo[3,2-a]imidazole analogues were synthesized by stirring an equimolar mixture of dibenzoylacetylene with imidazole/thiazole derivatives in toluene or acetonitrile at room temperature. The products were generated in good yields and characterized by standard analytical techniques such as IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR and mass spectrometry. The structure of products 19, 20, 22, 24 and 25 were also unambiguously confirmed by single crystal X-ray analysis.  相似文献

Castanolide (1) and epi-castanolide (2), two novel diterpenoids possessing a unique seco-norabietane skeleton, were isolated from Salviacastanea Diels f. pubescens Stib. Their structures and relative stereochemistry were elucidated by extensive NMR analysis and confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction study. Valeneomerins A–D, two new neomerane-type sesquiterpenoids and two new nor-sesquiterpenoids, were isolated from the roots of Valeriana officinalis var. latifolia. Among them, valeneomerin A (1) was identified as a sesquiterpenoid with an unprecedented 15,3-lactone loop while valeneomerin C (3) and valeneomerin D (4) were determined to be nor-sesquiterpenoids with a new 15-reductive neomerane-type carbon skeleton. Their structures were elucidated by detailed spectroscopic analysis and Cu Kα X-ray crystallography. Compounds 1, 2, and 4 exhibited significant neuroprotective effects against H2O2 induced oxidative stress in SH-SY5Y cells with viability of 49.8, 40.9, and 44.6% each at 50 μM, respectively, in contrast to positive control (catechin, 50 μM) with viability of 32.6%.  相似文献

The aim of this paper was to demonstrate a fluorescence measurement method for rapid detection of two bacterial count by using water-soluble quantum dots (QDs) as a fluorescence marker, and spectrofluorometer acted as detection apparatus, while Escherichia coli (E. coli) and Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) were as detection target bacteria. Highly luminescent water-soluble CdSe QDs were first prepared by using thioglycolic acid (TGA) as a ligand, and were then covalently coupled with target bacteria. The bacterial cell images were obtained using fluorescence microscopy. Our results showed that CdSe QDs prepared in water phase were highly luminescent, stable, and successfully conjugated with E. coli and S. aureus. The fluorescence method could detect 102-107 CFU/mL total count of E. coli and S. aureus in 1-2 h and the low detection limit is 102 CFU/mL. A linear relationship of the fluorescence peak intensity and log total count of E. coli and S. aureus have been established using the equation Y = 118.68X − 141.75 (r = 0.9907).  相似文献

An improved sheath-flow interface used to couple capillary electrophoresis (CE) with inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) and a microwave-assisted extraction used to extract each arsenic species in seafood were developed in this work. The improved sheath-flow interface completely avoids laminar flow in CE capillary caused by the suction from ICP-MS, makes electric supply more stable in CE, and transports analyte solution to ICP-MS easily and more efficiently. CE-ICP-MS coupled with our interface have two quantitative analysis modes: continuous sample-introduction mode and collective sample-introduction mode. The collective sample-introduction technique greatly reduced the dead volume of interface to approximately zero, obviously avoided the excessive dilution of analyte, and eventually led to a much lower detection limit and a much better electrophoretic resolution. This was demonstrated by the better symmetry and narrow peak widths (10-12 s) and much lower detection limits (0.030-0.042 μg/L) of four species of arsenic determined with collective sample-introduction mode.With the help of this improved sheath-flow interface and the microwave-assisted extraction, we have successfully separated and determined four arsenic species, As(III), As(V), monomethylarsonic acid (MMA) and dimethylarsinic acid (DMA) in dried Mya arenaria Linnaeus and Shrimp samples using CE-ICP-MS within 10 min with a relative standard deviation of 2-4% (peak areas, n = 6) and a recovery of 96-105%.  相似文献

Seven new diterpenes, featuring the rare 2,6-cyclo-xenicane skeleton, along with eleven previously reported metabolites were isolated from the organic extracts of the brown algae Dilophus fasciola and Dilophus spiralis. The structure elucidation of the isolated natural products was based on detailed analyses of their spectroscopic data (NMR, MS, IR, UV), whereas the assignment of their relative configurations was assisted by molecular modelling studies.  相似文献

Four novel eremophilane-type sesquiterpene lactones, 6β,10α-dihydroxy-1-oxoeremophila-7(11),8(9)-dien-12,8-olide (1), 6β-acetyl-2-oxoeremophila-1(10),7(11), 8(9)-trien-12,8-olide (2), 6β,8β-diacetyl-2-oxoeremophila-1(10),7(11)-dien-12,8-olide (3), dimeric eremophilane ligulolide B (5), and known sesquiterpenoid, 6β,8α-diacetyleremophila-1(10),7(11)-dien-12,8-olide (4), were isolated from an extract of the whole plant of Ligularia virgaurea spp. oligocephala. The structure of 1 was confirmed by NMR spectra and single crystal X-ray crystallography investigation, as well as 2, 3, and 5 were elucidated by spectroscopic methods including 1D and 2D NMR spectra. A discussion of biogenesis of 5 was described. Cytotoxicities of compound 1 were measured in vitro against selected cancer cells human promyelocytic leukemia (HL-60), human ovarian (HO-8910) and human lung epithehial (A-549).  相似文献
