Molar volumes in solutions at infinite dilution were determined for a series of intracomplex compounds of beryllium, zinc, cobalt, copper, and nickel, derived from salicyalalanilines, salicylalalkylimines, N-[(2-hydroxyphenyl)(methyl)methylene]anilines, N-[(2-hydroxyphenyl)(phenyl)methylene]aniline, as well as ethylene glycol and glycerol. An additivity scheme was constructed for calculation of the molar volumes of these compounds in solutions. Analysis of the experimental molar volumes of the systems studied showed that chelation via intramolecular complex formation almost always makes these values lower than those calculated by the additivity scheme, implying entropy stabilization of the chelates in solutions due to release of solvent molecules from the solvation shell of the molecules. It was shown that the dipole moments and Kerr constants of those compounds for which the additive scheme for calculation of molar volumes was constructed can be much easier estimated.  相似文献

The densities, ρ, and refractive indices, n D, of 2-alkanols (C3–C5) with N-propylamine have been measured for the whole range of composition at temperatures from (298.15–328.15) K at 10 K intervals and ambient pressure of 81.5 kPa, using an Anton Paar DMA 4500 oscillating tube densimeter and an Anton Paar Abbemat 500 automatic refractometer. From the experimental data, excess molar volumes \( V_{\text{m}}^{\text{E}} \) partial molar volumes \( \bar{V}_{i} \) apparent molar volumes V ?i and refractive index deviations Δn D the binary systems consisting of N-propylamine + 2-alkanols (2-propanol, 2-butanol, 2-pentanol) were calculated and \( V_{\text{m}}^{\text{E}} \) and Δn D values were correlated with the RedlichKister polynomial. The effect of temperature and the chain length of the alcohol on the excess molar volumes and refractive index deviations are discussed in terms of molecular interaction between unlike molecules. The excess molar volumes are negative and refractive index deviations are positive over the entire composition range, which indicates strong hydrogen bonding between molecules of the mixtures. A comparative study has been made of the refractive indices obtained experimentally and those calculated by means of the LorentzLorenz, Weiner and Arago–Biot relations. The perturbed chain statistical associating fluid theory (PC-SAFT), simplified PC-SAFT and Prigogine–Flory–Patterson theory were also applied to correlate and predict the density and excess molar volumes of the mixtures.  相似文献

The thermochemical dissolution of L-valine in solvent mixtures H2O + (formamide, N-methylformamide, and N,N-dimethylformamide) is studied at an organic component concentration of x2 = 0–0.35 molar fractions and a temperature of 298.15 K. The experimental data are used to calculate standard enthalpies of dissolution, the transferring of L-valine from water to a mixed solvent, and the enthalpy coefficients of pairwise interactions (hxy) with organic solvent molecules. The correlation between the enthalpy characteristics of the dissolution of L-valine with the composition of aqueous organic mixtures and the nature of the organic solvent (its physicochemical properties) is determined. A comparative analysis of the values of hxy of a number of aliphatic L-amino acids in similar solvent mixtures with the hydrophobicity parameters of their side chains is performed.  相似文献

UV absorption spectroscopy, electrical conductivity and density experiments have been used to investigate the interactions of some small biomolecules (amino acids/dipeptides) with an active pharmaceutical ingredient in ionic liquid form (API-IL), benzalkonium salicylate (BaSal), in aqueous solution. A number of useful parameters, such as critical micellar concentration (cmc), aggregation number (Nagg) and limiting molar conductivity (Λ0) of BaSal, standard partial molar volumes (\(V_{2,\phi }^{ \circ }\)), corresponding volumes of transfer from water to aqueous BaSal solutions (ΔtrVo), standard partial molar expansibilities (\(E_{\phi }^{ \circ }\)), hydration number (nH) of small biomolecules, as well as the binding constants (Kb) for small biomolecule–BaSal complexes have been evaluated. The dependence of the properties on concentration, temperature and alkyl chain length of amino acids/dipeptides is examined. The results are used to identify the solute–solvent physicochemical interactions occurring in the studied systems.  相似文献

2-(2-Hydroxyaryl)imidazolidines were synthesized by reaction of aromatic carbonyl compounds with N,N′-dialkylethylenediamines. The title compounds were also prepared using the corresponding Schiff bases instead of carbonyl compounds. Phosphorylation of 2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)imidazolidines with phosphoryl and phosphorothioyl chlorides and phosphorochloridites was accomplished. The reaction of O-phosphorylsalicylaldehyde with N,N′-dialkylethylenediamines also afforded 2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)imidazolidines.  相似文献

The densities, viscosities and refractive indices of N,N /-ethylene-bis(salicylideneiminato)-diaquochromium(III) chloride, [Cr(salen)(H2O)2]Cl, in aqueous dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) with different mass fractions (w 2 = 0.20, 0.40, 0.60, 0.80 and 1.00) of DMSO were determined at 298.15, 308.15 and 318.15 K under atmospheric pressure. From measured densities, viscosities and refractive indices the apparent molar volumes (V φ ), standard partial molar volume (V φ 0 ), the slope (S V * ), standard isobaric partial molar expansibility (φ E 0 ) and its temperature dependence (?φ E 0 /?T) p , the viscosity B-coefficient, its temperature dependence (?B/?T), solvation number (S n ) and apparent molar refractivity (R D φ ), etc., were calculated and discussed on the basis of ion–ion and ion–solvent interactions. These results revealed that the solutions are characterized by ion–solvent interactions rather than by ion–ion interactions and the complex behaves as a long range structure maker. Thermodynamics of viscous flow was discussed in terms of transition state theory.  相似文献

Three p-phenylenediamine antioxidants (p-phenylenediamine-N,N,N′,N′-tetrapropionic acid tetramethyl ester, p-phenylenediamine-N,N,N′-tripropionic acid trimethyl ester, and p-phenylenediamine-N, N′-dipropionic acid dimethyl ester) were successfully synthesized via atom-economic aza-Michael addition of pphenylenediamine to methyl acrylate p-romoted by graphene oxide in water. The synthesized compounds were characterized by NMR, ESI-MS spectra, and elemental analyses. The effects of the solvent and graphene oxide on the reaction were investigated.  相似文献

Density measurements are used to calculate the apparent molar volumes Vφ, limiting apparent molar volumes \(V_{\varphi }^{0}\), limiting apparent molar volumes of transfer, \(\Delta_{\text{t}} V_{\varphi }^{0}\), limiting apparent molar expansibilities, \(E_{\varphi }^{0}\), and hydration numbers nH, for dl-alanine and glycine in aqueous solutions of l(+)-arabinose at T?=?293.15 to 313.15 K. To obtain the limiting apparent molar volume, the Vφ values are extrapolated to zero molality using the linear form of the Redlich–Meyer equation. Also, the limiting apparent molar volumes of transfer, \(\Delta_{\text{t}} V_{\varphi }^{0}\), for the amino acids, from water to aqueous l(+)-arabinose solutions, are calculated from the \(V_{\varphi }^{0}\) values. The limiting apparent molar expansibility, \(E_{\varphi }^{0}\), values have been obtained from the first derivative of limiting apparent molar volumes with respect to temperature. Also the hydration number, nH, for both amino acids in the ternary solutions are estimated. Possible solute–solvent interactions in the studied ternary systems are discussed.  相似文献

Facile and efficient diastereoselective synthesis of trans-indolyldihydrofurans by three-component reaction of 3-cyanoacetyl indoles with various aromatic aldehydes and N-phenacylpyridinium bromides in presence of 1,1,3,3-N,N,N′,N′-tetramethylguanidine under solvent-free conditions is described. This ecofriendly protocol offers several advantages such as a cost-effective procedure with excellent yield, short reaction time, ease workup and product isolation, good functional group tolerance, and broad scope of usable substrates. The synthesized compounds were also evaluated for their antioxidant activity by 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging assay.  相似文献

Over the full molar fraction range, the density, viscosity, refractive index, conductivity and pH at the temperatures (298.15, 308.15, and 318.15) K, mixing enthalpy at T?=?298.15 K, and 1H-NMR were measured for the binary mixtures of x N-methylimidazole (hereafter abbreviated to N-mim)?+?(1???x) methanol, together with ab initio calculations. The thermodynamic parameters of activation for viscous flow were calculated and analyzed. The excess molar volume, viscosity deviation, deviation for the logarithm of viscosity, refractive index deviation and the excess refractive index, excess Gibbs energy of activation of viscous flow and the molar mixing enthalpy were calculated and fitted with a Redlich–Kister equation. The partial molar mixing enthalpies and the protons’ chemical shift changes of N-mim and methanol were calculated and explained. An increase in temperature leads to the excess molar volume becoming more negative, whereas the deviations for the logarithm of viscosity, viscosity deviation and the excess Gibbs energy of activation of viscous flow become less positive; in contrast the refractive index deviation and the excess refractive index become less positive at first and then become more positive. The activation of the viscous fluid is a more ordered process. The physicochemical properties, ab initio calculations, combined with the 1H-NMR results reveal that the molecular interactions among unlike molecules is stronger than that between like ones. There is an ionization process and hydrogen bond interaction between N-mim and methanol, the predominant interaction is N-mim:methanol?=?1:1 hydrogen-bonded network, where the methyl groups of methanol and N-mim, respectively, are electron-withdrawing and electron-donating groups.  相似文献

The densities ρ and coefficients of compressibility k = ΔV/V 0 of a binary mixture {ethylene glycol (1) + tert-butanol (2)} in the temperature range of 278.15–323.15 K and pressures of 0.1–100 MPa over the entire range of compositions of liquid phase state are measured. Found that the coefficients of compressibility k of the mixture increase both with an increase in the concentration of tert-butanol and with a rise in temperature and pressure. The excess molar volumes of the mixture, apparent, partial molar volumes, and limiting partial molar volumes of the components are calculated. It is showed that the excess molar volumes of the mixture are negative and decrease when the pressure increases. The excess molar volumes are described by the Redlich-Kister equation. The partial molar volumes of ethylene glycol sharply decrease in the range of high concentrations of tert-butanol. The dependences of partial molar volumes of ethylene glycol are characterized by the presence of a region of temperature inversion. The “negative compressibility” of the limiting partial volumes of ethylene glycol is revealed.  相似文献

Effect of the solvent nature on the kinetics of photoreduction of 3,6-di-tert-butyl-1,2-benzoquinone and its six derivatives in the presence of N,N-dimethylaniline and 4-(N,N-dimethylamino)benzaldehyde has been investigated. It has been found that for the о-quinone—amine pair, for which the free energy change of electron transfer is ΔGe > +0.11 eV, the rate constant of о-quinone photoreduction kH decreases proportionally to the increase in the acceptor number of the solvent. For the о-quinone—amine pair with ΔGe < +0.11 eV, the kH value decreases proportionally to the increase in the donor number of the solvent. It has been established that the enhancement of the electron-acceptor properties of the solvent leads to the emergence of kinetic isotope effect for the reactant pairs of 3,6-di-tert-butyl-1,2-benzoquinone and 4,5-dimethoxy-3,6-di-tert-butyl-1,2-benzoquinone with N,N-di-methylaniline (ΔGe = +0.11 and +0.22 eV, respectively).  相似文献

Analytical dependences of a volume’s properties on the differences between the geometric structures of initial monosystems are obtained for binary systems simulated by a grain medium. The effect of microstructural parameter k (the ratio of volumes of molecules of mixed components) on the concentration behavior of the relative excess molar volume of different types of real binary solutions is analyzed. It is established that the contribution due to differences between the volumes of molecules and coefficients of the packing density of mixed components is ~80–100% for mutual solutions of n-alkanes and ~55–80% of the experimental value of the relative excess molar volume for water solutions of n-alcohols.  相似文献

Apparent molar volumes, apparent molar adiabatic compressibilities and viscosity B-coefficients for metformin hydrochloride in aqueous d-glucose solutions were determined from solution densities, sound velocities and viscosities measured at T = (298.15–318.15) K and at pressure p = 101 kPa as a function of the metformin hydrochloride concentrations. The standard partial molar volumes (\( \phi_{V}^{0} \)) and slopes (\( S_{V}^{*} \)) obtained from the Masson equation were interpreted in terms of solute–solvent and solute–solute interactions, respectively. Solution viscosities were analyzed using the Jones–Dole equation and the viscosity A and B coefficients discussed in terms of solute–solute and solute–solvent interactions, respectively. Adiabatic compressibility (\( \beta_{s} \)) and apparent molar adiabatic compressibility (\( \phi_{\kappa }^{{}} \)), limiting apparent molar adiabatic compressibility (\( \phi_{\kappa }^{0} \)) and experimental slopes (\( S_{\kappa }^{*} \)) were determined from sound velocity data. The standard volume of transfer (\( \Delta_{t} \phi_{V}^{0} \)), viscosity B-coefficients of transfer (\( \Delta_{t} B \)) and limiting apparent molar adiabatic compressibility of transfer (\( \Delta_{t} \phi_{\kappa }^{0} \)) of metformin hydrochloride from water to aqueous glucose solutions were derived to understand various interactions in the ternary solutions. The activation parameters of viscous flow for the studied solutions were calculated using transition state theory. Hepler’s coefficient \( (d\phi /dT)_{p} \) indicated the structure making ability of metformin hydrochloride in the ternary solutions.  相似文献

Hydrogen transfer hydrogenation of acetophenone and methyl benzoylformate with 2-propanol was studied on colloidal systems obtained by reduction of rhodium complexes in the presence of optically active compounds: chiral diamines, quaternary salt (4S,5S)-(–)-N1,N4-dibenzylene-2,3-dihydroxy-N1,N1,N4,N4-tetramethylbutane-1,4-diammonium dichloride and (8S,9R)-(–)-cinchonidine. The increase in the molar ratio modifier/Rh leads to the increase in the enantioneric excess (ee) of the reaction products. The largest ee [43.8% of (R)-1-phenylethanol and 58.2% of methyl ester of (R)-mandelic acid] were achieved for the ratios (8S,9R)-(–)-cinchonadine: Rh = 9: 1 and 3: 1, respectively. The catalyst was characterized by the high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction analysis, and thermal analysis.  相似文献

Carbanions derived from ethyl 3-oxobutanoate and diethyl malonate reacted with an equimolar amount of N-chloro-N-ethylethanamine, N-chloromorpholine, or N-chloropiperidine to give diethyl 2,3-diacetylbutanedioate and tetraethyl ethane-1,1,2,2-tetracarboxylate in 68–83% yield. The possibility of heterocoupling of ethyl 3-oxobutanoate and diethyl malonate carbanions by the action of N-chloro-N-ethylethanamine and the effect of the molar reactant ratio on the selectivity of oxidative homo- and heterocoupling were studied.  相似文献

Stereochemistry of the oxidation of N-arylbicyclo[2.2.1]hept-5-ene-endo-and-exo-2,3-dicarboximides at the double bond with peroxyacetic acid generated in situ in the presence of sulfuric acid and with an anhydrous dioxane solution of peroxyacetic acid was studied. In both cases, the reaction was stereospecific, regardless of the substituent in the N-aryl group and configuration of the imide ring, but the reaction direction depended on the presence of water in the system. In the first case, the corresponding trans-5,6-dihydroxy derivatives were formed, while in the second, exo-5,6-epoxy derivatives. The oxidation of N-arylbicyclo[2.2.1]-hept-5-ene-endo-and-exo-2,3-dicarboximides with a solution of potassium permanganate in aqueous acetone gave the corresponding N-aryl-cis-5,6-dihydroxybicyclo[2.2.1]heptane-endo-and-exo-2,3-dicarboximides. The exo, cis, exo and exo, cis, endo configurations of the synthesized compounds were determined by 1H NMR spectroscopy.  相似文献

The speed of sound (u), density (ρ), and viscosity (η) of 2,4-dihydroxyacetophenone isonicotinoylhydrazone (DHAIH) have been measured in N,N-dimethyl formamide and dimethyl sulfoxide at equidistance temperatures 298.15, 303.15, 308.15, and 313.15 K. These data were used to calculate some important ultrasonic and thermodynamic parameters such as apparent molar volume (V ? s st ), apparent molar compressibility (K ?), partial molar volume (V ? 0 ) and partial molar compressibility (K ? 0 ), were estimated by using the values of (V ? 0 ) and (K ?), at infinite dilution. Partial molar expansion at infinite dilution, (? E 0 ) has also been calculated from temperature dependence of partial molar volume V ? 0 . The viscosity data have been analyzed using the Jones–Dole equation, and the viscosity, B coefficients are calculated. The activation free energy has been calculated from B coefficients and partial molar volume data. The results have been discussed in the term of solute–solvent interaction occurring in solutions and it was found that DHAIH acts as a structure maker in present systems.  相似文献

The electronic structure of HOCN, HSCN, HNCO, and HNCS molecules and [OCN]? and [SCN]? anions has been studied by ab initio calculations at HF/6-31G(d), HF/6-31G(d, p), MP2/6-31G(d)//HF/6-31G(d), and MP2/6-31G(d, p)//HF/6-31G(d, p) levels of theory. The HNCO and HNCS molecules are shown to have higher thermodynamic stability than HOCN and HSCN, respectively. The protolyte strength series are substantiated: HSCN > HOCN, HNCS > HNCO, HOCN > HNCO, HSCN > HNCS. Computations including electron correlation [MP2/6-31G(d)//HF/6-31G(d) and MP2/6-31G(d, p)//HF/6-31G (d, p)] reproduce the general sequence of proton-donor properties: HSCN > HOCN > HNCS > HNCO, which coincides with the hydrophobicity series for the compounds. The relative proton-donor capacity of these acids in water solutions is generally governed by the electronic structure and by the size of their molecules and [OCN]? and [SCN]? anions, but not by medium effects.  相似文献
