A superior Na3V2(PO4)3‐based nanocomposite (NVP/C/rGO) has been successfully developed by a facile carbothermal reduction method using one most‐common chelator, disodium ethylenediamintetraacetate [Na2(C10H16N2O8)], as both sodium and nitrogen‐doped carbon sources for the first time. 2D‐reduced graphene oxide (rGO) nanosheets are also employed as highly conductive additives to facilitate the electrical conductivity and limit the growth of NVP nanoparticles. When used as the cathode material for sodium‐ion batteries, the NVP/C/rGO nanocomposite exhibits the highest discharge capacity, the best high‐rate capabilities and prolonged cycling life compared to the pristine NVP and single‐carbon‐modified NVP/C. Specifically, the 0.1 C discharge capacity delivered by the NVP/C/rGO is 116.8 mAh g?1, which is obviously higher than 106 and 112.3 mAh g?1 for the NVP/C and pristine NVP respectively; it can still deliver a specific capacity of about 80 mAh g?1 even at a high rate up to 30 C; and its capacity decay is as low as 0.0355 % per cycle when cycled at 0.2 C. Furthermore, the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy was also implemented to compare the electrode kinetics of all three NVP‐based cathodes including the apparent Na diffusion coefficients and charge‐transfer resistances.  相似文献

Herein, mesoporous sodium vanadium phosphate nanoparticles with highly sp2‐coordinated carbon coatings (meso‐Na3V2(PO4)3/C) were successfully synthesized as efficient cathode material for rechargeable sodium‐ion batteries by using ascorbic acid as both the reductant and carbon source, followed by calcination at 750 °C in an argon atmosphere. Their crystalline structure, morphology, surface area, chemical composition, carbon nature and amount were systematically explored. Following electrochemical measurements, the resultant meso‐Na3V2(PO4)3/C not only delivered good reversible capacity (98 mAh g?1 at 0.1 A g?1) and superior rate capability (63 mAh g?1 at 1 A g?1) but also exhibited comparable cycling performance (capacity retention: ≈74 % at 450 cycles at 0.4 A g?1). Moreover, the symmetrical sodium‐ion full cell with excellent reversibility and cycling stability was also achieved (capacity retention: 92.2 % at 0.1 A g?1 with 99.5 % coulombic efficiency after 100 cycles). These attributes are ascribed to the distinctive mesostructure for facile sodium‐ion insertion/extraction and their continuous sp2‐coordinated carbon coatings, which facilitate electronic conduction.  相似文献

A two‐dimensional (2D) sp2‐carbon‐linked conjugated polymer framework (2D CCP‐HATN) has a nitrogen‐doped skeleton, a periodical dual‐pore structure and high chemical stability. The polymer backbone consists of hexaazatrinaphthalene (HATN) and cyanovinylene units linked entirely by carbon–carbon double bonds. Profiting from the shape‐persistent framework of 2D CCP‐HATN integrated with the electrochemical redox‐active HATN and the robust sp2 carbon‐carbon linkage, 2D CCP‐HATN hybridized with carbon nanotubes shows a high capacity of 116 mA h g?1, with high utilization of its redox‐active sites and superb cycling stability (91 % after 1000 cycles) and rate capability (82 %, 1.0 A g?1 vs. 0.1 A g?1) as an organic cathode material for lithium‐ion batteries.  相似文献

P2‐type layered oxides suffer from an ordered Na+/vacancy arrangement and P2→O2/OP4 phase transitions, leading them to exhibit multiple voltage plateaus upon Na+ extraction/insertion. The deficient sodium in the P2‐type cathode easily induces the bad structural stability at deep desodiation states and limited reversible capacity during Na+ de/insertion. These drawbacks cause poor rate capability and fast capacity decay in most P2‐type layered oxides. To address these challenges, a novel high sodium content (0.85) and plateau‐free P2‐type cathode‐Na0.85Li0.12Ni0.22Mn0.66O2 (P2‐NLNMO) was developed. The complete solid‐solution reaction over a wide voltage range ensures both fast Na+ mobility (10?11 to 10?10 cm2 s?1) and small volume variation (1.7 %). The high sodium content P2‐NLNMO exhibits a higher reversible capacity of 123.4 mA h g?1, superior rate capability of 79.3 mA h g?1 at 20 C, and 85.4 % capacity retention after 500 cycles at 5 C. The sufficient Na and complete solid‐solution reaction are critical to realizing high‐performance P2‐type cathodes for sodium‐ion batteries.  相似文献

Porous carbon with high specific surface area (SSA), a reasonable pore size distribution, and modified surface chemistry is highly desirable for application in energy storage devices. Herein, we report the synthesis of nitrogen‐containing mesoporous carbon with high SSA (1390 m2 g?1), a suitable pore size distribution (1.5–8.1 nm), and a nitrogen content of 4.7 wt % through a facile one‐step self‐assembly process. Owing to its unique physical characteristics and nitrogen doping, this material demonstrates great promise for application in both supercapacitors and encapsulating sulfur as a superior cathode material for lithium–sulfur batteries. When deployed as a supercapacitor electrode, it exhibited a high specific capacitance of 238.4 F g?1 at 1 A g?1 and an excellent rate capability (180 F g?1, 10 A g?1). Furthermore, when an NMC/S electrode was evaluated as the cathode material for lithium–sulfur batteries, it showed a high initial discharge capacity of 1143.6 mA h g?1 at 837.5 mA g?1 and an extraordinary cycling stability with 70.3 % capacity retention after 100 cycles.  相似文献

Sodium‐ion batteries are a very promising alternative to lithium‐ion batteries because of their reliance on an abundant supply of sodium salts, environmental benignity, and low cost. However, the low rate capability and poor long‐term stability still hinder their practical application. A cathode material, formed of RuO2‐coated Na3V2O2(PO4)2F nanowires, has a 50 nm diameter with the space group of I4/mmm. When used as a cathode material for Na‐ion batteries, a reversible capacity of 120 mAh g?1 at 1 C and 95 mAh g?1 at 20 C can be achieved after 1000 charge–discharge cycles. The ultrahigh rate capability and enhanced cycling stability are comparable with high performance lithium cathodes. Combining first principles computational investigation with experimental observations, the excellent performance can be attributed to the uniform and highly conductive RuO2 coating and the preferred growth of the (002) plane in the Na3V2O2(PO4)2F nanowires.  相似文献

Porous nitrogen‐doped carbon nanotubes (PNCNTs) with a high specific surface area (1765 m2 g?1) and a large pore volume (1.28 cm3 g?1) have been synthesized from a tubular polypyrrole (T‐PPY). The inner diameter and wall thickness of the PNCNTs are about 55 nm and 22 nm, respectively. This material shows extremely promising properties for both supercapacitors and for encapsulating sulfur as a superior cathode material for high‐performance lithium–sulfur (Li‐S) batteries. At a current density of 0.5 A g?1, PNCNT presents a high specific capacitance of 210 F g?1, as well as excellent cycling stability at a current density of 2 A g?1. When the S/PNCNT composite was tested as the cathode material for Li‐S batteries, the initial discharge capacity was 1341 mAh g?1 at a current rate of 1 C and, even after 50 cycles at the same rate, the high reversible capacity was retained at 933 mAh g?1. The promising electrochemical energy‐storage performance of the PNCNTs can be attributed to their excellent conductivity, large surface area, nitrogen doping, and unique pore‐size distribution.  相似文献

Developing rechargeable Na–CO2 batteries is significant for energy conversion and utilization of CO2. However, the reported batteries in pure CO2 atmosphere are non‐rechargeable with limited discharge capacity of 200 mAh g?1. Herein, we realized the rechargeability of a Na–CO2 battery, with the proposed and demonstrated reversible reaction of 3 CO2+4 Na?2 Na2CO3+C. The battery consists of a Na anode, an ether‐based electrolyte, and a designed cathode with electrolyte‐treated multi‐wall carbon nanotubes, and shows reversible capacity of 60000 mAh g?1 at 1 A g?1 (≈1000 Wh kg?1) and runs for 200 cycles with controlled capacity of 2000 mAh g?1 at charge voltage <3.7 V. The porous structure, high electro‐conductivity, and good wettability of electrolyte to cathode lead to reduced electrochemical polarization of the battery and further result in high performance. Our work provides an alternative approach towards clean recycling and utilization of CO2.  相似文献

Biomass‐derived porous carbon BPC‐700, incorporating micropores and small mesopores, was prepared through pyrolysis of banana peel followed by activation with KOH. A high specific BET surface area (2741 m2 g?1), large specific pore volume (1.23 cm3 g?1), and well‐controlled pore size distribution (0.6–5.0 nm) were obtained and up to 65 wt % sulfur content could be loaded into the pores of the BPC‐700 sample. When the resultant C/S composite, BPC‐700‐S65, was used as the cathode of a Li–S battery, a large initial discharge capacity (ca. 1200 mAh g?1) was obtained, indicating a good sulfur utilization rate. An excellent discharge capacity (590 mAh g?1) was also achieved for BPC‐700‐S65 at the high current rate of 4 C (12.72 mA cm?2), showing its extremely high rate capability. A reversible capacity of about 570 mAh g?1 was achieved for BPC‐700‐S65 after 500 cycles at 1 C (3.18 mA cm?2), indicating an outstanding cycling stability.  相似文献

A three‐dimensional (3D) cage‐like organic network (3D‐CON) structure synthesized by the straightforward condensation of building blocks designed with gas adsorption properties is presented. The 3D‐CON can be prepared using an easy but powerful route, which is essential for commercial scale‐up. The resulting fused aromatic 3D‐CON exhibited a high Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET) specific surface area of up to 2247 m2 g?1. More importantly, the 3D‐CON displayed outstanding low pressure hydrogen (H2, 2.64 wt %, 1.0 bar and 77 K), methane (CH4, 2.4 wt %, 1.0 bar and 273 K), and carbon dioxide (CO2, 26.7 wt %, 1.0 bar and 273 K) uptake with a high isosteric heat of adsorption (H2, 8.10 kJ mol?1; CH4, 18.72 kJ mol?1; CO2, 31.87 kJ mol?1). These values are among the best reported for organic networks with high thermal stability (ca. 600 °C).  相似文献

Prussian blue and its analogues (PBAs) have been recognized as one of the most promising cathode materials for room‐temperature sodium‐ion batteries (SIBs). Herein, we report high crystalline and Na‐rich Prussian white Na2CoFe(CN)6 nanocubes synthesized by an optimized and facile co‐precipitation method. The influence of crystallinity and sodium content on the electrochemical properties was systematically investigated. The optimized Na2CoFe(CN)6 nanocubes exhibited an initial capacity of 151 mA h g?1, which is close to its theoretical capacity (170 mA h g?1). Meanwhile, the Na2CoFe(CN)6 cathode demonstrated an outstanding long‐term cycle performance, retaining 78 % of its initial capacity after 500 cycles. Furthermore, the Na2CoFe(CN)6 Prussian white nanocubes also achieved a superior rate capability (115 mA h g?1 at 400 mA g?1, 92 mA h g?1 at 800 mA g?1). The enhanced performances could be attributed to the robust crystal structure and rapid transport of Na ions through large channels in the open‐framework. Most noteworthy, the as‐prepared Na2CoFe(CN)6 nanocubes are not only low‐cost in raw materials but also contain a rich sodium content (1.87 Na ions per lattice unit cell), which will be favorable for full cell fabrication and large‐scale electric storage applications.  相似文献

Phosphorus‐rich metal phosphides have very high lithium storage capacities, but they are difficult to prepare. A low‐temperature phosphorization method based on Mg reducing PCl3 in ZnCl2 molten salt at 300 °C is developed to synthesize phosphorus‐rich CuP2@C from a Cu‐MOF derived Cu@C composite. Abnormal oxidation of Cu by Zn2+ in the molten salt is observed, which leads to the porous honeycomb nanostructure and homogeneously distributed ultrafine CuP2 nanocrystals. The honeycomb CuP2@C exhibits excellent lithium storage performance with high reversible capacity (1146 mAh g?1 at 0.2 A g?1) and superior cycling stability (720 mAh g?1 after 600 cycles at 1.0 A g?1), showing the promising application of P‐rich metal phosphides in lithium ion batteries.  相似文献

All‐solid‐state sodium batteries (ASSSBs) with nonflammable electrolytes and ubiquitous sodium resource are a promising solution to the safety and cost concerns for lithium‐ion batteries. However, the intrinsic mismatch between low anodic decomposition potential of superionic sulfide electrolytes and high operating potentials of sodium‐ion cathodes leads to a volatile cathode–electrolyte interface and undesirable cell performance. Here we report a high‐capacity organic cathode, Na4C6O6, that is chemically and electrochemically compatible with sulfide electrolytes. A bulk‐type ASSSB shows high specific capacity (184 mAh g?1) and one of the highest specific energies (395 Wh kg?1) among intercalation compound‐based ASSSBs. The capacity retentions of 76 % after 100 cycles at 0.1 C and 70 % after 400 cycles at 0.2 C represent the record stability for ASSSBs. Additionally, Na4C6O6 functions as a capable anode material, enabling a symmetric all‐organic ASSSB with Na4C6O6 as both cathode and anode materials.  相似文献

The lithium–sulfur battery is regarded as one of the most promising candidates for lithium–metal batteries with high energy density. However, dendrite Li formation and low cycle efficiency of the Li anode as well as unstable sulfur based cathode still hinder its practical application. Herein a novel electrolyte (1 m LiODFB/EC‐DMC‐FEC) is designed not only to address the above problems of Li anode but also to match sulfur cathode perfectly, leading to extraordinary electrochemical performances. Using this electrolyte, lithium|lithium cells can cycle stably for above 2000 hours and the average Coulumbic efficiency reaches 98.8 %. Moreover, the Li–S battery delivers a reversible capacity of about 1400 mAh g?1sulfur with retention of 89 % for 1100 cycles at 1 C, and a capacity above 1100 mAh g?1sulfur at 10 C. The more advantages of this cell system are its outstanding cycle stability at 60 °C and no self‐discharge phenomena.  相似文献

Hierarchical and hollow nanostructures have recently attracted considerable attention because of their fantastic architectures and tunable property for facile lithium ion insertion and good cycling stability. In this study, a one‐pot and unusual carving protocol is demonstrated for engineering hollow structures with a porous shell. Hierarchical TiO2 hollow spheres with nanosheet‐assembled shells (TiO2 NHS) were synthesized by the sequestration between the titanium source and 2,2′‐bipyridine‐5,5′‐dicarboxylic acid, and kinetically controlled etching in trifluoroacetic acid medium. In addition, annealing such porous nanostructures presents the advantage of imparting carbon‐doped functional performance to its counterpart under different atmospheres. Such highly porous structures endow very large specifics surface area of 404 m2 g?1 and 336 m2 g?1 for the as‐prepared and calcination under nitrogen gas. C/TiO2 NHS has high capacity of 204 mA h g?1 at 1 C and a reversible capacity of 105 mA h g?1 at a high rate of 20 C, and exhibits good cycling stability and superior rate capability as an anode material for lithium‐ion batteries.  相似文献

We demonstrate a unique synthetic route for oxygen‐deficient mesoporous TiOx by a redox–transmetalation process by using Zn metal as the reducing agent. The as‐obtained materials have significantly enhanced electronic conductivity; 20 times higher than that of as‐synthesized TiO2 material. Moreover, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and galvanostatic intermittent titration technique (GITT) measurements are performed to validate the low charge carrier resistance of the oxygen‐deficient TiOx. The resulting oxygen‐deficient TiOx battery anode exhibits a high reversible capacity (~180 mA h g?1 at a discharge/charge rate of 1 C/1 C after 400 cycles) and an excellent rate capability (~90 mA h g?1 even at a rate of 10 C). Also, the full cell, which is coupled with a LiCoO2 cathode material, exhibits an outstanding rate capability (>75 mA h g?1 at a rate of 3.0 C) and maintains a reversible capacity of over 100 mA h g?1 at a discharge/charge of 1 C/1 C for 300 cycles.  相似文献

A porous Na3V2(PO4)3 cathode material coated uniformly with a layer of approximately 6 nm carbon has been synthesized by the sol–gel method combined with a freeze‐drying process. The special porous morphology and structure significantly increases the specific surface area of the material, which greatly enlarges the contact area between the electrode and electrolyte, and consequently supplies more active sites for sodium ions. When employed as a cathode material of sodium‐ion batteries, this porous Na3V2(PO4)3/C exhibits excellent rate performance and cycling stability; for instance, it shows quite a flat potential plateau at 3.4 V in the potential window of 2.7–4.0 V versus Na+/Na and delivers an initial capacity as high as 118.9 and 98.0 mA h g?1 at current rates of 0.05 and 0.5 C, respectively, and after 50 cycles, a good capacity retention of 92.7 and 93.6 % are maintained. Moreover, even when the discharge current density is increased to 5 C (590 mA g?1), an initial capacity of 97.6 mA h g?1 can still be achieved, and an exciting capacity retention of 88.6 % is obtained after 100 cycles. The good cycle performance, excellent rate capability, and moreover, the low cost of Na3V2(PO4)3/C suggest that this material is a promising cathode for large‐scale sodium‐ion rechargeable batteries.  相似文献

In this article, the two‐layer sandwiched graphene@LiFe0.2Co0.8O2 nanoparticles (SG@LFCO) have been prepared and investigated as high‐rate and long‐life cathode materials for rechargeable lithium‐ion batteries. The materials possess a high‐surface area (267.1 m2 g?1) and lots of void spaces. By combining various favorable conditions, such as Fe doping, coating graphene, and designing novel morphology, the as‐prepared materials deliver a specific capacity of 115 mAh g?1 at 10 C. At the 0.1 C cycling rate, the capacity retention of 97.2 % is sustained after 250 cycles and a coulombic efficiency of around 97.6 % is obtained.  相似文献

A mild phosphorization process in low‐temperature molten salt (NaCl‐KCl‐AlCl3) has been developed to synthesize peapod‐like CoP@C nanostructures by using low‐toxicity industrial PCl3 as the phosphorus source and Mg as the reductant at 250 °C. Importantly, high efficiency of the phosphorous source is achieved since only stoichiometric PCl3 is required to complete the reaction. The molten NaCl‐KCl‐AlCl3 not only provides a liquid environment but also participates in the electron transport by the reversible conversion of the Al3+/Al redox couple. The obtained 0D‐in‐1D peapod CoP@C structure exhibits excellent lithium storage performance, delivering a superiorly stable capacity of 500 mAh g?1 after 800 cycles at a high current of 1.0 A g?1.  相似文献

The development of suitable anode materials is far from satisfactory and is a major scientific challenge for a competitive sodium‐ion battery technology. Metal sulfides have demonstrated encouraging results, but still suffer from sluggish kinetics and severe capacity decay associated with the phase change. Herein we show that rational electrode design, that is, building efficient electron/ion mixed‐conducting networks, can overcome the problems resulting from conversion reactions. A general strategy for the preparation of hierarchical carbon‐coated metal sulfide (MS?C) spheres through thermal sulfurization of metal glycerate has been developed. We demonstrate the concept by synthesizing highly uniform hierarchical carbon coated vanadium sulfide (V2S3?C) spheres, which exhibit a highly reversibly sodium storage capacity of 777 mAh g?1 at 100 mA g?1, excellent rate capability (410 mAh g?1 at 4000 mA g?1), and impressive cycling ability.  相似文献
