Annealing of ZrO2 in a nitrogen atmosphere leads to a nitrogen containing phase called phase having a trigonally distorted fluorite structure with ordered anion vacancies. DTA/TG investigations indicated that the phase decomposes intom-ZrO2 above 500C releasing nitrogen during the reaction with oxygen. Prevention of oxygen uptake by use of closed tantalum tubes instead of open platinum crucibles enabled the detection of a new reversible phase transition at 965C. The thermoanalytical results have been confirmed by high temperature-X-ray investigation.Dedicated to Professor Dr. Roger Blachnik on the occasion of his 60th birthday  相似文献

-Mn2O3 and KMn8O16 were detected on catalysts prepared by pore volume impregnation of -alumina using manganous nitrate and ammonium permanganate, respectively. Summary Crystals of Co2(X 2O7)·2H2O,X=P/As were synthesized under hydrothermal conditions. Their crystal structures were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction:a=6.334(1)/6.531(2),b=13.997(2)/14.206(4),c=7.637(1)/7.615(2)Å, =94.77(2)/94.74(2)°, space group P21/n,R=0.032/0.046,R w=0.028/0.034 for 2423/2042 reflections and 131/119 variables. Within the twoXO4 tetrahedra connected via a common corner to anX 2O7 group the average P-O bond lengths are approximately equal (1.540 and 1.543 Å), but As-O differs significantly (1.685 and 1.696 Å). A comparison with the isotypic Mn and Mg pyrophosphates shows a correlation between the ratio Me-O/X-O and the angle O-X-O.

Zusammenfassung Kristalle von Co2(X 2O7)·2H2O,X=P/As wurden unter Hydrothermalbedingungen synthetisiert. Ihre Kristallstrukturen wurden mittels Röntgenbeugung an Einkristallen bestimmt:a=6.334(1)/6.531(2),b=13.997(2)/14.206(4),c=7.637(1)/7.615(2) Å, =94.77(2)/97.74(2)°, Raumgruppe P21/n,R=0.032/0.046,R w=0.028/0.034 für 2423/2042 Reflexe und 131/119 Variable. In den beiden über eine gemeinsame Ecke zuX 2O7-Gruppen verknüpftenXO4-Tetraedern sind die mittleren P-O-Abstände ungefähr gleich (1.540 und 1.543 Å), hingegen differiert As-O signifikant (1.685 und 1.696 Å). Ein Vergleich mit den isotypen Mn- und Mg-Pyrophosphaten zeigt eine Korrelation zwischen dem Quotienten Me-O/X-O und dem WinkelX-O-X.

The compound, (NH4)[VO(O2)2(NH3)], thermally decomposes to ammonium metavanadate, which then decomposes to vanadium pentoxide. Using a heating rate of 5 deg·min–1, the first decomposition step occurs between 74° and 102°C. The transformation degree dependence of the activation energy (-E) is shown to follow a decreasing convex form, indicating that the first decomposition step is a complex reaction with a change in the limiting stage of the reaction. Infrared spectra indicated that the decomposition proceeds via the gradual reduction of the ratio of the (NH4)2O to V2O5 units from the original 11 ratio in ammonium metavanadate, which may be written as (NH4)2O·V2O5, to V2O5.The assistance of Professor A. Second order rate constants and activation parameters H, S, and V have been measured for the oxidation of [Co(en)2(SOCH2CO2)]+ by S2O82– and by IO4– in highly aqueous H2O – t-BuOH mixtures. The changes in solvation on going from the initial to the transition state are discussed on the basis of the transfer functions Gto, Hto and Sto. Whereas Gt changes smoothly as the proportion of t-BuOH increases, the plots of Ht and TSt exhibit mirror behaviour and pass through extrema located around x2(t- BuOH)=0.038. Information on the role of solvation is complemented by the determination of activation volumes. These are discussed in terms of intrinsic and solvational contributions. It is proposed that changes in hydrophobic hydration are of principal importance in determining the response of H, S, and V to changes in solvent composition in H2O – t-BuOH mixtures.  相似文献

The phase equilibria in the total range of component concentrations in the V2O5-Cr2O3 system up to 1000 °C were studied by means of phase powder diffraction and DTA. Two compounds exist in the system: CrVO4, melting incongruently at 860±5 °C, and Cr2V4O13, which decomposes in the solid state at 640±5 °C to CrVO4(s) and V2O5(s). At 645±5 °C, CrVO4 and V2O5 form a eutectic mixture with the CrVO4 content not exceeding 2% mol.
Zusammenfassung Mittels DTA und Pulverdiffraktionsaufnahmen wurde das Phasengleichgewicht des Systems V2O5-Cr2O3 bis 1000 °C im gesamten Konzentrationsbereich untersucht. Innerhalb des Systemes existieren zwei Verbindungen: CrVO4 mit einem inkongruentem Schmelzpunkt bei 860±5 °C und Cr2V4O13, das sich in festem Zustand bei 640±5 °C in CrVO4(s) und V2O5(s) zersetzt. Bei 645±5 °C bilden CrVO4 und V2O5 ein eutektisches Gemisch mit einem maximalen CrVO4-Gehalt von 2 mol%.

Investigations in the system Sb-Se-NaOH-H2O, hydrothermal conditions, yielded crystals of the compound Na3SbSe3·3Sb2O3·0,5Sb(OH)3. The structure of this compound (a=14.40 Å,c=5.568 Å; space group P 63-C 6 6 ;Z=2) was determined from 985 independent X-ray intensities — collected on an automaticWeissenberg type diffractometer — by thePatterson method and refined by the least squares method toR=8.3% (with -weighting 5.9%). The structure consists of SbO3 pyramids which are connected via common oxygen corners to tubes parallel [001]. These tubes and SbSe3 pyramids are combined by Na atoms to a framework. The Sb(OH)3 groups are statistically located within the channels of the tubes.

Summary In this work, we search for the simplest complete surfaces of systems with three and four atoms, i.e. the minimal sets of critical points with their index, which are topologically consistent in the whole configuration space. Then we show the smallest change in the A2B2 system by requiring at least one stable acetylene configuration and one stable vinylidene configuration, like on the C2H2 surface. Finally, we give complete sets of minima, saddle points and maxima obtained for C2H2 with analytical potentials proposed in the literature and with a semi-empirical method at the CAS-CI level.  相似文献

Products of hydrothermal treatment of the initial amorphous system MnxFe2–2x(OH)6–4x for 0x1 in 0.1x intervals, and products of their further thermal treatment, were examined by chemical analysis, X-ray, IR, and DTA techniques supported by magnetic measurements. After hydrothermal growth for lowx, hematite and goethite phases occurred. Although the goethite phase was still identifiable atx=0.6, formation of a solid solution with the isostructural groutite was not found. The ferrimagnetic spinel phase, which resists heating up to 400C, was present at 0.5x0.9. At higher temperatures, it transformed into the rhombohedral hematite type phase or into the cubic bixbyite phase. AtT900C, a ferrimagnetic spinel structure reappeared up tox=0.8. For x=0.9, the low- and high-temperature forms of the hausmannite phase occurred, forx= 1 passing from one form into another through Mn5O8 and partritgeite.For a primary mixture Mn0.5Fe(OH)4, corresponding to the manganese ferrite structure, the lattice parameter of which passes from 8.43 å through 8.33 å to 8.50 å, the probable crystallochemical formula was suggested.We are grateful to KBN (The State Committee for Scientific Research, Poland) for grant No. 3 T09A 064 08, which contributed substantially to the materialization of this project.  相似文献

Electrochemical properties of amorphous and crystalline V2O5 films, dip-coated from V-oxoisopropoxide sols and thermally treated at various temperatures (100, 150, 200 and 300°C), have been studied in extended potential range, i.e. from 1.4 to –1.6 V vs. Ag/AgCl in 1M LiClO4/propylen carbonate (PC) electrolyte. The formation of various lithiated (-, -, - and -Li x V2O5) phases was correlated with the values of insertion coefficient x obtained from cyclic voltammograms (CV) of crystalline V2O5 films (300°C). Reversible charging was observed when films were cycled up to –1.0 V vs. Ag/AgCl, while the extension of the potential to –1.3 V vs. Ag/AgCl change the CV of films irreversibly. Charging of crystalline V2O5 films was followed by the help of in-situ UV-visible spectroscopy, that revealed the intensity variations of the polaron absorption above 600 nm and the presence of the absorbing V3+ species between 550 and 650 nm. Ex-situ IR spectra of the crystalline films charged/discharged at –1.6V/1.4V vs. Ag/AgCl confirmed the amorphisation of the films' structure.  相似文献

Summary Quantum chemical ab initio calculations have been performed for the complex CO2HF and N2OHF. The interaction energies were computed through fourth order MBPT and were corrected for basis set superposition errors. Extended polarized basis sets were used which are constructed to give accurate values for electric moments and polarizabilities. The complex NNOHF was found to be bent, while OCOHF is linear, in agreement with experiment. The MBPT calculations give evidence for a second linear isomeric structure FHNNO, a possibility which has also been suggested by recent experimental data. The computed binding energies are: 2.5 kcal/mol for OCOHF, 2.4 kcal/mol for NNOHF, and 3.0 kcal/mol for FHNNO. At the SCF level, the FHNNO complex is less stable than NNOHF, but correlation has a large effect on the geometry and energetics of the latter complex. The NNOHF complex seems to be a system where the positive intramolecular correlation correction prevails over the negative intermolecular component.  相似文献

Crystal structure determination and semiempirical AM1 and PM3 calculations were performed on flutamide {2-methyl-N[4 nitro-3-(trifluoromethyl) phenyl] propamide}, a powerful nonsteroidal androgen antagonist. The molecule is almost planar apart from CF3, NO2, and CH3 groups. The NO2 plane makes an angle of 36.3(4) with the least-square plane of the phenyl ring. The molecules are intermolecularly linked by one N-H O and one C-H O hydrogen bonds. A bifurcated helicoidal hydrogen bond network is formed by the intermolecular C-H O hydrogen bond together with another intramolecular C-H O hydrogen bond. The calculated structures are in good agreement with the crystallographic conformations. AM1 is more accurate for predicting the intramolecular C-H O hydrogen bond while PM3 gives a better geometry for the crowded nitro group. AM1 and PM3 charges of benzenic hydrogens are used to predict the propensity of these atoms to form hydrogen bonds. The noncentrosymmetric space group of the crystal (Pna21), the calculated dipole moment (8.88 D), and the calculated angle between molecular dipoles and the twofold axis (–49) close to the optimal value (54.7) indicate that flutamide might be a possible candidate for nonlinear optical material.  相似文献

The molecular structure of free aniline has been investigated by gas-phase electron diffraction and ab initio MO calculations at the HF and MP2 levels of theory, using the 6-31G*(6D) basis set. Least-squares refinement of a model withC s symmetry, with constraints from MP2 calculations, has led to an accurate determination of the C-C-C angle at theipso position of the benzene ring, =119.0±0.2 (where the uncertainty represents total error). This parameter provides information on the extent of the interaction between the nitrogen lone pair and the system of the benzene ring, and could not be determined accurately by microwave spectroscopy. The angles at theortho, meta, andpara positions of the ring are 120.3±0.1, 120.7±0.1, and 119.0±0.3, respectively. Important bond distances are r g(C-C)=1.398±0.003 å andr g(C-N) =1.407±0.003 å. The effective dihedral angle between the H-N-H plane and the ring plane, averaged over the large-amplitude inversion motion of the amino group, is ¦¦=44±4. The equilibrium dihedral angle is calculated to be 41.8 at the HF level and 43.6 at the MP2 level, in agreement with far-infrared spectroscopic information. The MO calculations predict that the differencer(Cortho-Cmeta) -r(Cipso-Cortho) is 0.008–0.009 å. They also indicate that the nitrogen atom is displaced from the ring plane, on the side opposite to the amino hydrogens. The displacement is 0.049 å at the HF level and 0.072 å at the MP2 level. The two calculations, however, yield very different patterns for the minute deviations from planarity of the ring carbons.  相似文献

The thermal behaviour of chemically deintercalated samples obtained by HCl treatment of non-stoichiometric Li/Ni mixed oxides is studied. A multi-step reduction of Ni with O2 evolution is observed between room temperature and 800C. Two cation redistribution processes are shown by the exothermal occurrence of a spinel phase at 300C and the endothermal reduction to a rock-salt phase with random distribution of Li and Ni cations in octahedral sites at 800C.The authors wish to express their acknowledgement to CICYT and PFPI for financial support.  相似文献

Using DTA, TG and DTG methods, the reaction between RbNO3 and V2O5 in the molar ratio 65 in air atmosphere was studied. The reaction proceeds stepwise. In individual steps of the reaction the formation of RbV3O8, RbVO3 and Rb3V5O14 was observed. Rubidium pentavanadate is thermally unstable. At 1000°, RbVO3 and Rb2V4O11 were identified as products of its thermal decomposition. Rubidium tetravanadate was also prepared by the isothermal reaction of RbNO3 with V2O5 in the molar ratio 11.
Zusammenfassung Unter Anwendung der DTA-, TG- und DTG-Methoden wurde die Reaktion RbNO3-V2O6 bei dem Molverhältnis von 65 in Luft untersucht. Die Reaktion verläuft stufenweise. Bei den einzelnen Stufen der Reaktion wurde die Bildung von RbV3O8, RbVO3 und Rb3V5O14 beobachtet. Rubidiumpentavanadat ist thermisch instabil. Bei 1000° wurden RbVO3 und Rb2V4O11 als Produkte seiner thermischen Zersetzung beobachtet. Rubidiumtetravanadat wurde auch durch die isotherme Reaktion von RbNO3-V2O5 bei dem Molverhältnis von 11 hergestellt.

Résumé On a étudié par ATD, TG et TGD dans l'air, la réaction RbNO3-V2O5 (rapport molaire 65). La réaction s'effectue par étapes, avec formation de RbV3O8, RbVO3 et Rb3V5O14. Le pentavanadate de rubidium est thermiquement instable. A 1000°, RbVO3 et Rb2V4O11 ont été identifiés comme produits de la décomposition thermique. Le tétravanadate de rubidium a également été préparé par voie isotherme en faisant réagir RbNO3-V2O5 (rapport molaire 11).

The conformation of the amino acid residues, glycine, alanine, proline, and phenylalanine have been predicted from molecular orbital calculations of appropriate model compounds. Using the current main chain rotation convention (, ) the principle conformations were found to be glycine (0, 0), alanine (240, 240), proline (120, 330) and phenylalanine (30, 330). Several secondary conformations were also found for glycine. Activation parameters H , S and V and correlations between S and V are reported for peroxodisulphate oxidation of [Fe(CN)6]4–, [Fe(bipy)3]2+ (bipy = (2, 2-bipyridyl), [Fe(phen)3]2+ (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline), cis-[Fe(bipy)2(CN)2], [Fe(bipy)(CN)4]2–, [Fe(phen)(CN)4]2–, [Co(en)2(glyS)]+ (glyS = mercaptoacetate, SCH2COO2–), [Co(en)2(cyS)]+ (cyS = cysteinate, SOCH2CH(COO)NH2 2–) and [Co(en)2(amS)]2+ (amS = ethanesulphenaminate, SCH2CH2NH2 ) and for periodate and hydrogen peroxide oxidation of the three last-named complexes. Activation parameters are discussed in terms of electrostriction, solvation and ligand size contributions. Opposite trends for S /V correlations were found for oxidations of FeII complexes in comparison with oxidations of coordinated sulphur in the CoIII complexes.  相似文献

The effect of the temperature on the formation, surface state, and catalytic activity in the reactions of dehydrogenation of cyclohexane and dehydrocyclization of n-hexane by Ni-Tc/-Al2O3 mono- and bimetallic catalysts was investigated. TcO2, NiCl2, and metal phases, and at a high temperature (500–700C), NiAl2O4 spinel and Ni-Tc clusters, were found on the surface of all of the catalysts. It was shown that the maximum activity is observed in reduction of monometallic catalysts at 500C and bimetallic catalysts at 700–800C. The sound velocities of aqueous NaCl, Na2SO4, MgCl2, and MgSO4 solutions were measured from 25 to 95°C in 10o intervals from dilute to saturated solutions. The results were combined with our earlier data and fitted to functions of molality and temperature to within ±0.4 m-sec–1. The adiabatic compressibilities S were calculated from sound speeds and used to calculate the adiabatic apparent molal compressibilities . Isothermal compressibilities and isothermal apparent molal compressibilities were calculated from S using literature values for the expansibilities and heat capacities. The values of were extrapolated to infinite dilution using the Debye-Huckel limiting law to determine partial molal compressibilities. The apparent molal compressibilities were fitted to Pitzer's equations. The Pitzer parameters for the concentration dependence of were determined as a function of temperature. Correlations of and V at various temperatures were found for the electrolytes.  相似文献

Kinematic viscosities of the binary 2-butanone (1) + 1,2-propanediol (2) solvent system have been measured for mixtures covering the whole miscibility range expressed by 0 x i 1, at 19 temperatures in the range –10 t/°C 80. The measured values have been used to test empirical equations that express the kinematic viscosities as functions of the composition and temperature. Excess kinematic viscosities (E) have also been calculated. Sign and magnitude of these quantities are discussed in terms of type and nature of specific intermolecular interactions. Furthermore, derived quantities such as thermodynamic parameters of viscous flow (G, H and S), are analyzed on the basis of Eyring's model. All the investigated excess mixing properties indicate the probable existence of stable two-component adducts in this binary solvent system.  相似文献
