The synthesis, crystal structure and magnetic properties of the cyano-bridged complex [{Cu(cyclam)}3{Fe(CN)6}2] · 6H2O are reported. Its structure is made up of centrosymmetric S-shaped pentanuclear [{Cu(cyclam}3{Fe(CN)6)}2] units, in which three [Cu(cyclam)]2+ units are alternatively bridged by two trans-CN groups of [Fe(CN)6]3− anions and water molecules. The pentanuclear Fe2Cu3 units are held together by two complementary and very weak Fe–CN?Cu1 bonds, forming a rope-ladder chain along the c axis. The compound exhibits a ferromagnetic interaction between the Cu(II) and Fe(III) ions as a consequence of the orthogonality of their magnetic orbitals of σ and π nature, respectively. The magnetic data were fitted to the calculated magnetic susceptibility equation for a pentanuclear model, leading to the following magnetic parameters: J1 = 9.0(3) cm−1, J2 = 3.8(4) cm−1, g = 2.2, θ = −1.2 K. These results show that the interactions through the long Cu–N axial bonds are not so weak as is usually assumed.  相似文献

Single crystals of [Cu(men)2(BF4)2] (men = N-methyl-1,2-diaminoethane) (1) were isolated from an aqueous-ethanolic system Cu2+-men-BF4. The crystal structure of 1 consists of [Cu(men)2(BF4)2] molecules. Copper ion exhibits usual distorted octahedral coordination; there are two coordinated men ligands in the equatorial plane with Cu-N bonds of 2.0451(12) and 2.0035(12) Å, while the axial positions are occupied by fluorine atoms from BF4 anions with Cu-F bond of 2.5091(11) Å. The packing of the [Cu(men)2(BF4)2] molecules is governed by N-H?F type hydrogen bonds. The measured ESR spectrum corroborated the presence of Jahn-Teller anisotropy of Cu(II) with g|| = 2.20 and g = 2.06. The magnetic studies in the temperature range 300-2 K reveal that 1 follows the Curie-Weiss law with parameters = 2.1612(1) and θ = −0.233(1) K suggesting the presence of weak antiferomagnetic interactions.  相似文献

A novel compound, [HN(C2H4)3N][(VO)2(HPO3)2(OH)(H2O)]·H2O, was hydrothermally synthesized and characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction. This compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system with the space group C2/c and cell parameters a=11.0753(3) Å, b=17.8265(6) Å, c=16.5229(5) Å, and β=92.362(2)°. The structure of the compound consists of vanadium phosphite layers which are built up from the infinite one-dimensional chains of [(VO)(H2O)(HPO3)2]2− of octahedral VO5(H2O) and pseudo pyramidal [HPO3], and bridging binuclear fragments of [VO(OH)]2. Thermogravimetric analysis and magnetic susceptibility data for this compound are given.  相似文献

Ytterbium(III) tetraaquatris(tetraoxorhenate(VII)), Yb(ReO4)3(H2O)4, was prepared by the reaction of Yb2O3 with concentrated HReO4 at room temperature. The colorless compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n (No. 14) with four formula units per unit cell (a=730.5(1) pm, b=1484.1(5) pm, c=1311.7(2) pm, β=93.69(1)). The main feature of the crystal structure is the formation of chains 1[Yb(H2O)4(ReO4)2(ReO4)2/2] running along [100]. This arrangement shows distorted cubic antiprisms of [Yb(H2O)4(ReO4)2(ReO4)2/2] interconnected via the ReO4 ligands. The chains are held together in the solid by hydrogen bonding. The compound is paramagnetic and follows the Curie-Weiss law with a magnetic moment of 4.0 μB at room temperature and θ=−42 K. It loses hydration water in two steps at temperatures below 400 K; decomposition begins at 850 K, forming Yb2O3(Re2O7)2 and is complete at 1350 K leading to Yb2O3 as final product.  相似文献

The interaction of the diethyl(quinolin-2-ylmethyl)phosphonate (2-qmpe) ligand with CoCl2 · 2H2O unexpectedly leads to the formation of a compound with the formula [Co(2-qca)2(EtOH)2] (2-qca = quinoline-2-carboxylate). This compound is a product of the oxidative cleavage of the C–P bond in 2-qmpe and the formation of the 2-qca ligand. The title compound was characterized by infrared, ligand field, EPR spectroscopy and low temperature magnetic (1.8–300 K) studies. Particularly, the crystal and molecular structures were determined by the X-ray diffraction. The CoN2O4 chromophore shows an elongated octahedron geometry, resulting from the two didentate N,O-bonded chelate ligands and two ethanol molecules – quinolil nitrogen atoms are located in axial positions and oxygen atoms are positioned in the basal plane. The crystal packing is due to hydrogen bonds and π–π stacking interactions, which give rise to a three-dimensional (3D) polymeric network. The magnetic properties reflect the molecular character of the compound, with a very weak magnetic exchange interaction. The moments are enhanced due to an important orbital contribution via spin–orbit coupling.  相似文献

A hydrothermal reaction of WO3, CoCl2 and 4,4′-bipyridine, yields a novel organic-inorganic hybrid compound, Co2(bpy)6(W6O19)2, at 170°C. X-ray single crystal structure determination reveals a two-dimensional covalent structure belonging to monoclinic crystal system, space group C2/c, with cell parameters a=19.971(4) Å, b=11.523(2) Å, c=16.138(3) Å, β=96.49(3)°, V=3690.0 Å3 and Z=2. The hexatungstate, [W6O19]2−, acts as a building block in bidentate fashion to bridge the Co(II) centers in the crystal structure. The title compound is found to have an optical energy gap of 2.2 eV from UV-Vis-NIR reflectance spectra.  相似文献

The hydrothermal synthesis, crystal structure and magnetic properties of the new copper silicate Na2Cu5(Si2O7)2, are reported. The crystal structure was determined through synchrotron powder diffraction data. The unit cell was indexed to a triclinic cell, space group P-1 (n° 2) with unit cell parameters a=5.71075(2) Å, b=7.68266(3) Å, c=7.96742(3) Å, α=64.2972(2)°, β=88.4860(2)° and γ=70.5958(2)° with Z=1. A structural model was obtained through a combination of a direct-space Monte-Carlo approach and Rietveld refinement. The crystal structure contains parallel chains consisting of zig-zag copper dimers and trimers. All silicon atoms are present as part of a [Si2O7]6− anion that connects the chains; therefore the compound belongs to the sorosilicate mineral family. The magnetic susceptibility was measured and shows a behavior typical of one-dimensional ferrimagnetism, in agreement with the observed structure.  相似文献

The organo-templated iron(III) borophosphate (C3H12N2)FeIII 6(H2O)4[B4P8O32(OH)8] was prepared under mild hydrothermal conditions (at 443 K) and the crystal structure was determined from single crystal X-ray data at 295 K (monoclinic, P21/c (No. 14), a=5.014(2) Å, b=9.309(2) Å, c=20.923(7) Å, β=110.29(2)°, V=915.9(5) Å3, Z=2, R1=0.049, wR2=0.107 for all data, 2234 observed reflections with I>2σ(I)). The title compound contains a complex inorganic framework of borophosphate trimers [BP2O8(OH)2]5− together with FeO4(OH)(H2O)- and FeO4(OH)2-octahedra forming channels with ten-membered ring apertures in which the diaminopropane cations are located. The magnetization measurements confirm the Fe(III)-state and show an antiferromagnetic ordering at TN≈14.0(1) K.  相似文献

The preparation of the potassium salt of hexathiocyanate Re(IV) as a pure and crystalline solid is described. The crystal structure for [{K(H2O)2}2{Re(NCS)6}] (P21/c, a = 8.29132(8) Å, b = 15.0296(2) Å, c = 8.5249(1) Å, β = 90.885(1)°, V = 1062.21(2) Å3) revealed the formation of a 3-D coordination polymer based on K-S linkages. This organization leads to rather short intermolecular S···S contacts. The magnetic behavior for the compound is characterized by substantial antiferromagnetic interactions (with Curie-Weiss parameters C = 1.93 cm3mol−1 and θ = −171 K) that in turn lead to a weak ferromagnet with TC = 13 K.  相似文献

The preparation by hydrothermal reaction and the crystal structure of the iron(III) carboxyethylphosphonate of formula [NH4][Fe2(OH){O3P(CH2)2CO2}2] is reported. The green-yellow compound crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group Pc(n.7), with the following unit-cell parameters: a=7.193(3) Å, b=9.776(3) Å, c=10.17(4) Å and β=94.3(2)°. It shows a typical layered hybrid organic-inorganic structure featuring an alternation of organic and inorganic layers along the a-axis of the unit cell. The bifunctional ligand [O3P(CH2)2CO2]3− is deprotonated and acts as a linker between adjacent inorganic layers, to form pillars along the a-axis. The inorganic layers are made up of dinuclear Fe(III) units, formed by coordination of the metal ions with the oxygen atoms originating from the [O3P−]2− end of the carboxyethylphosphonate molecules, the oxygen atoms of the [−CO2] end group of a ligand belonging to the adjacent layer and the oxygen atom of the bridged OH group. Each Fe(III) ion is six-coordinated in a very distorted octahedral environment. Within the dimer the Fe-Fe separation is found to be 3.5 Å, and the angle inside the [Fe(1)-O(11)-Fe(2)] dimers is ∼124°. The resulting 3D framework contains micropores delimited by four adjacent dimers in the (bc) planes of the unit cell. These holes develop along the a-direction as tunnel-like pores and [NH4]+ cations are located there. The presence of the μ-hydroxo-bridged [Fe(1)-O(11)-Fe(2)] dimers in the lattice is also responsible for the magnetic behavior of the compound at low temperatures. The compound contains Fe3+ ions in the high-spin state and the two Fe(III) ions are antiferromagnetic coupled. The J/k value of −16.3 K is similar to those found for other μ-hydroxo-bridged Fe(III) dimeric systems having the same geometry.  相似文献

Two new potassium uranyl molybdates K2(UO2)2(MoO4)O2 and K8(UO2)8(MoO5)3O6 have been obtained by solid state chemistry . The crystal structures were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction data, collected with MoKα radiation and a charge coupled device (CCD) detector. Their structures were solved using direct methods and Fourier difference techniques and refined by a least square method on the basis of F2 for all unique reflections, with R1=0.046 for 136 parameters and 1412 reflections with I?2σ(I) for K2(UO2)2(MoO4)O2 and R1=0.055 for 257 parameters and 2585 reflections with I?2σ(I) for K8(UO2)8(MoO5)3O6. The first compound crystallizes in the monoclinic symmetry, space group P21/c with a=8.250(1) Å, b=15.337(2) Å, c=8.351(1) Å, β=104.75(1)°, ρmes=5.22(2) g/cm3, ρcal=5.27(2) g/cm3 and Z=4. The second material adopts a tetragonal unit cell with a=b=23.488(3) Å, c=6.7857(11) Å, ρmes=5.44(3) g/cm3, ρcal=5.49(2) g/cm3, Z=4 and space group P4/n.In both structures, the uranium atoms adopt a UO7 pentagonal bipyramid environment, molybdenum atoms are in a MoO4 tetrahedral environment for K2(UO2)2(MoO4)O2 and MoO5 square pyramid coordination in K8(UO2)8(MoO5)3O6. These compounds are characterized by layered structures. The association of uranyl ions (UO7) and molybdate oxoanions MoO4 or MoO5, give infinite layers [(UO2)2(MoO4)O2]2− and [(UO2)8(MoO5)3O6]8− in K2(UO2)2(MoO4)O2 and K8(UO2)8(MoO5)3O6, respectively. Conductivity properties of alkali metal within the interlayer spaces have been measured and show an Arrhenius type evolution.  相似文献

The CuNi2(PO4)2 phosphate has been synthesized by the ceramic method at 800 °C in air. The crystal structure consists of a three-dimensional skeleton constructed from MO4 (MIICu and Ni) planar squares and M2O8 dimers with square pyramidal geometry, which are interconnected by (PO4)3− oxoanions with tetrahedral geometry. The magnetic behavior has been studied on powdered sample by using susceptibility, specific heat and neutron diffraction data. The bimetallic copper(II)-nickel(II) orthophosphate exhibits a three-dimensional magnetic ordering at, approximately, 29.8 K. However, its complex crystal structure hampers any parametrization of the J-exchange parameter. The specific heat measurements exhibit a three-dimensional magnetic ordering (λ-type) peak at 29.5 K. The magnetic structure of this phosphate shows ferromagnetic interactions inside the Ni2O8 dimers, whereas the sublattice of Cu(II) ions presents antiferromagnetic couplings along the y-axis. The change of the sign in the magnetic unit-cell, due to the [1/2, 0, 1/2] propagation vector determines a purely antiferromagnetic structure.  相似文献

New uranyl vanadates A3(UO2)7(VO4)5O (M=Li (1), Na (2), Ag (3)) have been synthesized by solid-state reaction and their structures determined from single-crystal X-ray diffraction data for 1 and 3. The tetragonal structure results of an alternation of two types of sheets denoted S for 2[UO2(VO4)2]4− and D for 2[(UO2)2(VO4)3]5− built from UO6 square bipyramids and connected through VO4 tetrahedra to 1[U(3)O5-U(4)O5]8− infinite chains of edge-shared U(3)O7 and U(4)O7 pentagonal bipyramids alternatively parallel to a- and b-axis to construct a three-dimensional uranyl vanadate arrangement. It is noticeable that similar [UO5]4− chains are connected only by S-type sheets in A2(UO2)3(VO4)2O and by D-type sheets in A(UO2)4(VO4)3, thus A3(UO2)7(VO4)5O appears as an intergrowth structure between the two previously reported series. The mobility of the monovalent ion in the mutually perpendicular channels created in the three-dimensional arrangement is correlated to the occupation rate of the sites and by the geometry of the different sites occupied by either Na, Ag or Li. Crystallographic data: 293 K, Bruker X8-APEX2 X-ray diffractometer equipped with a 4 K CCD detector, MoKα, λ=0.71073 Å, tetragonal symmetry, space group Pm2, Z=1, full-matrix least-squares refinement on the basis of F2; 1,a=7.2794(9) Å, c=14.514(4) Å, R1=0.021 and wR2=0.048 for 62 parameters with 782 independent reflections with I?2σ(I); 3, a=7.2373(3) Å, c=14.7973(15) Å, R1=0.041 and wR2=0.085 for 60 parameters with 1066 independent reflections with I?2σ(I).  相似文献

The crystal and magnetic structures of SrFe2+2(PO4)2 have been determined by neutron powder diffraction data at low temperatures (space group P21/c (no. 14); Z=4; a=9.35417(13) Å, b=6.83808(10) Å, c=10.51899(15) Å, and β=109.5147(7)° at 15 K). Two magnetic phase transitions were found at T1=7.4 K (first-order phase transition) and T2=11.4 K (second-order phase transition). The transition at T2 was hardly detectable by dc and ac magnetization measurements, and a small anomaly was observed by specific heat measurements. At T1, strong anomalies were found by dc and ac magnetization and specific heat. The structure of SrFe2(PO4)2 consists of linear four-spin cluster units, Fe2-Fe1-Fe1-Fe2. Below T1, the propagation vector of the magnetic structure is k=[0,0,0]. The magnetic moments of the inner Fe1-Fe1 atoms of the four-spin cluster unit are ferromagnetically coupled. The magnetic moment of the outer Fe2 atom is also ferromagnetically coupled with that of the Fe1 atom but with spin canting. The four-spin cluster units form ferromagnetic layers parallel to the [−101] plane, while these layers are stacked antiferromagnetically in the [−101] direction. Spin canting of the outer Fe2 atoms provides a weak ferromagnetic moment of about 1 μB along the b-axis. The refined magnetic moments at 3.5 K are 4.09 μB for Fe1 and 4.07 μB for Fe2. Between T1 and T2, a few weak magnetic reflections were observed probably due to incommensurate magnetic order.  相似文献

A new dinuclear compound, [Cu2(bpdo)2Br4], (in which bpdo = 2,2′-Bipyridine-1,1′-dioxide), has been synthesized and fully characterized, including the X-ray and the magnetic susceptibility. Each copper(II) ion in the dinuclear compound has a distorted square pyramidal geometry with the basal plane formed by two oxygen atoms of two ligand molecules which are bridging between the Cu ions with Cu–O distances of 2.021(2) and 2.039(2) Å and two bromide atoms with Cu–Br distances of 2.3577(6) and 2.3665(7) Å. The fifth position is occupied by a non bridging oxygen atom of a ligand with a Cu–O distance of 2.197(2) Å. The distance between the Cu ions is 3.334 Å, while the Cu–O–Cu angle is 110.37(9)°. The magnetic susceptibility measurements (from 5 to 350 K) agree with a very strong antiferromagnetic interaction with a large singlet–triplet splitting (J) of −905 cm−1. At high T (above 250 K) a triplet powder EPR is observed.  相似文献

The solid-state reactions of UO3 and WO3 with M2CO3 (M=Na, K, Rb) at 650°C for 5 days result, accordingly the starting stoichiometry, in the formation of M2(UO2)(W2O8) (M=Na (1), K (2)), M2(UO2)2(WO5)O (M=K (3), Rb (4)), and Na10(UO2)8(W5O20)O8 (5). The crystal structures of compounds 2, 3, 4, and 5 have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction using Mo(Kα) radiation and a charge-coupled device detector. The crystal structures were solved by direct methods and Fourier difference techniques, and refined by a least-squares method on the basis of F2 for all unique reflections. For (1), unit-cell parameters were determined from powder X-ray diffraction data. Crystallographic data: 1, monoclinic, a=12.736(4) Å, b=7.531(3) Å, c=8.493(3) Å, β=93.96(2)°, ρcal=6.62(2) g/cm3, ρmes=6.64(1) g/cm3, Z=4; 2, orthorhombic, space group Pmcn, a=7.5884(16) Å, b=8.6157(18) Å, c=13.946(3) Å, ρcal=6.15(2) g/cm3, ρmes=6.22(1) g/cm3, Z=8, R1=0.029 for 80 parameters with 1069 independent reflections; 3, monoclinic, space group P21/n, a=8.083(4) Å, b=28.724(5) Å, c=9.012(4) Å, β=102.14(1)°, ρcal=5.83(2) g/cm3, ρmes=5.90(2) g/cm3, Z=8, R1=0.037 for 171 parameters with 1471 reflections; 4, monoclinic, space group P21/n, a=8.234(1) Å, b=28.740(3) Å, c=9.378(1) Å, β=104.59(1)°, ρcal=6.13(2) g/cm3,  g/cm3, Z=8, R1=0.037 for 171 parameters with 1452 reflections; 5, monoclinic, space group C2/c, a=24.359(5) Å, b=23.506(5) Å, c=6.8068(14) Å, β=94.85(3)°, ρcal=6.42(2) g/cm3,  g/cm3, Z=8, R1=0.036 for 306 parameters with 5190 independent reflections. The crystal structure of 2 contains linear one-dimensional chains formed from edge-sharing UO7 pentagonal bipyramids connected by two octahedra wide (W2O8) ribbons formed from two edge-sharing WO6 octahedra connected together by corners. This arrangement leads to [UW2O10]2− corrugated layers parallel to (001). Owing to the unit-cell parameters, compound 1 probably contains similar sheets parallel to (100). Compounds 3 and 4 are isostructural and the structure consists of bi-dimensional networks built from the edge- and corner-sharing UO7 pentagonal bipyramids. This arrangement creates square sites occupied by W atoms, a fifth oxygen atom completes the coordination of W atoms to form WO5 distorted square pyramids. The interspaces between the resulting [U2WO10]2− layers parallel to plane are occupied by K or Rb atoms. The crystal structure of compound 5 is particularly original. It is based upon layers formed from UO7 pentagonal bipyramids and two edge-shared octahedra units, W2O10, by the sharing of edges and corners. Two successive layers stacked along the [100] direction are pillared by WO4 tetrahedra resulting in sheets of double layers. The sheets are separated by Na+ ions. The other Na+ ions occupy the rectangular tunnels created within the sheets. In fact complex anions W5O2010− are built by the sharing of the four corners of a WO4 tetrahedron with two W2O10 dimmers, so, the formula of compound 5 can be written Na10(UO2)8(W5O20)O8.  相似文献

Two new isomorphous tetranuclear complexes [Cu4L2(4,4′-bipy)2]·(ClO4)4·2CH3CN·2H2O (1) and [Zn4L2(4,4′-bipy)2]·(ClO4)3·CH3O·4H2O (2) have been obtained and fully characterized (where bipy = bipyridine, H2L = macrocycle is the [2+2] condensation product of 2,6-diformyl-4-fluoro-phenol and 1,4-diaminobutane). They exhibit wheel-like configuration in which two 4,4′-bipy molecules connect two dinuclear [M2L]2+ units. The interactions of the complexes with calf thymus DNA were studied by UV-Vis and CD spectroscopic techniques. The binding constants of 1 and 2 are 2.27 × 106 and 3.89 × 105 M−1, respectively. The magnetic measurement of 1 reveals that there are strong antiferromagnetic coupling (J = -272.6 cm−1) between two Cu(II) ions in the macrocyclic unit and ferromagnetic interaction (j′ = 41.7) between the Cu(II) ions in two adjacent macrocyclic units. Furthermore, the cyclic voltammogram of 1 shows that it undergoes two quasi-reversible processes with the half wave potentials -0.232 and -0.606 V, respectively.  相似文献

All the steps of the proposed technique, from the synthesis of single-source precursors to the preparation of CoPd and CoPt nanoalloys, are described. The double complex salts (DCS) [M(NH3)4][Co(C2O4)2(H2O)2]·2H2O (M = Pd, Pt), which were synthesized by mixing solutions containing [M(NH3)4]2+ cations and [Co(C2O4)2(H2O)2]2− anions, have been used as precursors. The salts obtained were characterized by IR spectroscopy, thermal analysis, XRD and single crystal X-ray diffraction. The prepared compounds crystallize in the monoclinic (space group I2/m, M = Pd) and orthorhombic (space group I222, M = Pt) crystal systems. Thermal decomposition of the salts in helium or hydrogen atmosphere at 200-600 °C results in the formation of nanoalloys powders (random solid solution Co0.50Pd0.50 and chemically ordered CoPt). The size of the bimetallic particles varied from 5 to 20 nm. Order-disorder structural transformations in Co0.50Pt0.50 nanoalloys were studied. The magnetic properties of both chemically disordered Co0.50Pd0.50 and ordered CoPt clusters have also been measured.  相似文献
