Herein the synthesis and recognition abilities towards amino acids and amino alcohols of new d-/l-phenylalaninol substituted p-tert-butylcalix[6]arenas are reported. These compounds, 6 and 7 have been synthesized via nucleophilic substitution reactions involving 5,11,17,23,29,35-tert-butyl-37,38-dimethoxy-39,40,41,42-(p-tosylethoxy)calix[6]arene 5 with d-/l-phenylalaninol in dry THF. The extraction properties of 6 and 7 towards some selected amino acid methylesters and amino alcohols have been studied by liquid–liquid extraction. These results show that chiral calix[6]arene derivatives exhibit a good affinity towards all amino acids and amino alcohols.  相似文献

The synthesis of chiral diamide derivatives of calix[4]arene from the reaction of p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene diester 1a and calix[4]arene diester 1b with various amino alcohols were reported. The 1H and 13C NMR, data showed that the compounds synthesized exist in the cone conformation. The extraction study properties of these new compounds 3a,b4a,b towards some selected α-amino acid methylesters are also reported.  相似文献

Herein the synthesis and extraction abilities of new d-/l-phenylalaninol substituted p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene triamide derivatives (3 and 4) towards amino acids are reported. These compounds (3 and 4) have been easily synthesized via aminolysis of p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene trimethylester (2) with d-/l-phenylalaninol in methanol-toluen solvent system at one step. The extraction properties of the prepared chiral calix[4]arene triamide derivatives (3 and 4) towards some selected amino acid methylesters are studied by liquid–liquid extraction. Results show that these chiral calix[4]arene triamide derivatives (3 and 4) exhibited a good affinity towards all amino acid species without any remarkably discrimination.  相似文献

Two new chiral calix[4]arene derivatives containing tartaric acid ester moieties were synthesized. The chiral calix[4]arenes are in a ‘cone’ conformation according to NMR spectroscopy. The chiral recognition capabilities of 14 toward the guests, 1,2-propanediol and serine methyl ester hydrochloride (SerOMe), were investigated (1H NMR spectroscopy). The extraction properties of compounds 1 and 2 toward selected α-amino acid methyl esters were also studied.  相似文献

Novel chiral calix[4]arene derivatives functionalized at the lower rim have been prepared from the reaction of p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene diamine or acylhydrazine derivative with mandelic acid or hydroxyisovaleric acid. The structures of these receptors were characterized by FTIR, 1H, 13C and 2D COSY NMR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. The transport of amino acid derivatives (phenylalanine, phenylglycine and tryptophan methyl ester hydrochlorides) was studied through bulk liquid membrane in the presence of chiral calix[4]arene derivatives. The receptors have been found to act as carriers for transport of aromatic amino acid methylesters from the aqueous source phase to the aqueous receiving phase. The transport rate and L/D selectivity of amino acid esters studied depend strongly upon the structure of the chiral receptors and guests. The best enantioselectivity was obtained in the case of phenylglycine methyl ester for all chiral carriers.  相似文献

The article describes the synthesis and extraction properties of a new chiral calix[4]arene Schiff base ligand 5, which has been synthesized from 5,17-diformyl-25,27-bis-(4-nitrobenzyloxy)-26,28-dihidroxycalix[4]arene (4) by treatment with (S)-(-)-1-phenylethylamine. In this synthesis, it was thought to explore the role of chiral, as well as Schiff base sites in the recognition of targeted species ions (such as dichromate anions) as well as neutral/chiral molecules. At low pH, the ligand 5 is more effective for transferring the dichromate anions from an aqueous into a dichloromethane layer; may be due to the protonation of nitrogen atoms.

The extraction properties of ligand 5 towards the some selected α -amino acid methylesters are also reported. However, the ligand 5 did not display any selectivity towards the selected α-amino acid methylesters.  相似文献

The synthesis of chiral calix[4]arenes with tartaric acid ester moieties has been achieved by the reactions of tartaric ester chloroacetates with calix[4]arenes in moderate yields. All the chiral calix[4]arene derivatives are in a cone conformation according to the 1H NMR doublet–doublet pattern of the protons of the methylene groups between the phenol rings. The results of NMR and specific rotations indicate that the molecules have C2 symmetry with asymmetric features.  相似文献

We synthesized the new calix[4]arene amines bearing two and four imidazole or tert-butylamine moieties (9a,b/10a,b) by the reaction of di- or tetra-tosylated calix[4]arene derivatives (7 and 8, respectively) with 1-(3-aminopropyl)imidazole and/or tert-butylamine, respectively. After the characterization of 9a,b/10a,b their extraction abilities toward Cr(VI) anionic species (CAS) was evaluated and compared by the liquid–liquid extraction method. The extraction results revealed that calix[4]arene amine having four imidazole groups (10a) was an efficient anion receptor for CAS. Moreover, the extraction of CAS by 10a in the presence of other anions such as Cl?, NO3?, and PO43? showed that 10a could be a selective anion receptor for CAS in the presence of those anions.  相似文献

The article describes the synthesis and extraction properties of new (S)-(-)-1-phenylethylamine substituted p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene/calix[4]arene. These compounds have been synthesized via nucleophilic substitution reactions involving 5,11,17,23-tetra-tert-butyl-25,26,27,28-tetra(2-hydroxyethoxy)calix[4]arene (4a), or 5,11,17,23-tetra-H-25,26,27,28-tetra(2-hydroxyethoxy)calix[4]arene (4b) with (S)-(-)-1-phenylethylamine in dry THF. The extraction properties of ligands 5a and 5b towards the some selected α-amino acid methylesters and chiral α-amines are also reported. It has been observed that receptor 5a was an excellent ionophore for α-amino acid methylesters/α-amines and good extractant than 5b. However, both of the ligands did not display any selectivity towards the configurations of this species. in final form: 17 January 2005  相似文献

Inherently chiral biscalixarenes with hetero-cavities were synthesized by a covalent assembly of p-tert-butylcalix[5]arene with a 1,3-substituted calix[4]arene via 1,3-alkylation reaction and subsequent desymmetrization. The racemates were resolved by chiral HPLC method. 1H NMR spectra, VT-NMR spectra, and theoretical calculations support that the calix[5]arene subunit of the inherently chiral calix[4][5]arene ester adopts a cone-in conformation, with the aromatic ring bearing the CH2CO2Et group tilting inward the calix[5]arene cavity. By contrast, such a cone-in structural feature of the calix[5]arene subunit disappears for the corresponding inherently chiral calix[4][5]arene carboxylic acid, due to the intramolecular hydrogen bonding between the carboxyl group and an ethereal oxygen of the glycolic chain.  相似文献

A series of novel double-armed calix[4]arene derivatives, i.e. 5,11,17,23-tetra-tert-butyl -25,27-bis[2-[(2-hydroxy-5-(4-nitroazo)benzylidene)amino]ethoxy]-26,28-dihydroxy-calix[4]-arene (4), 5,11,17,23-tetra-tert-butyl-25,27-bis[2-[(2-hydroxy-5-(2-nitroazo)benzylidene) amino]ethoxy]-26,28-dihydroxycalix[4]arene (5), 5,11,17,23-tetra-tert-butyl-25,27-bis[2-[(2-hydroxy-5-(4-chloroazo)benzylidene)amino]ethoxy]-26,28-dihydroxycalix[4]arene (6), have been synthesized as an selective chromoionophore for Na+. The complexation behavior of ligands 4-6 with alkali metal ions Na+, K+, Rb+and Cs+ has been evaluated by using UV-Vis spectrometry in CH3CN-H2O (99:1/V:V) solution at 25°C. The UV-Vis spectra show that the complexation of 4-6 with Na+exhibits obvious bathochromic shifts (λmax 379→480 nm) and there is a unique color change in the solution from yellow to red upon complexation. The binding constants for Na+ are higher than that of other alkali metal ions, giving the highest cation selectivity up to 7 for Na+/K+. The binding ability and photophysical behavior of alkali cations by calix[4]arene derivatives 4-6 are discussed from the point of view of substituted effects at the lower rim of parent calix[4]arene and size-fit concept between host calix[4]arenes and guest cations.  相似文献

Novel chiral Schiff base derivatives of calix[4]arenes 13 have been prepared from the reaction of 5,17-diformyl-25,27-dipropoxy-26,28-dihydroxycalix[4]arene 4 with (S)-(−)-1-phenylethylamine, (R)-(−)-1-cyclohexylethylamine, and (R)-(−)-2-heptylamine, respectively, by a convenient method in 69–80% yields. Spectrophotometric titrations have been performed in CHCl3 at 20–30 °C in order to obtain the binding constants (K) and thermodynamic quantities (ΔH and ΔS) for the stoichiometric 1:1 inclusion complexation of various amines with these new host compounds. The molecular recognition abilities and enantioselectivity for guests (R)- and (S)-α-phenylethylamine, 3-morpholinopropylamine and n-butylamine are discussed from a thermodynamic point of view.  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of three novel Schiff bases of azocalix[4]arene and their selective copper extraction are described. The preparation of azocalix[4]arenes (1c, 2c and 3c) has been achieved by the condensation of 2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzaldehyde with the amine group of upper rim mono-, di- and tetra-(aminophenylazo) calix[4]arene in ethanol. The synthesized products (1c, 2c and 3c) are characterized by both 1H and 13C NMR techniques, IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. Extraction capabilities of interested derivatives of azocalix[4]arene from aqueous phase into organic phase are also examined. While extraction of Ag+, Hg+ and Hg2+ cations gave strong complexes with azo groups, extraction of Cu2+ cation is found to be highly effective with ?CCH=N?C and neighboring ?COH groups.  相似文献

We have designed and synthesized an inherently chiral calix[4]arene partial cone conformer, in which a crown-4 ether moiety, a carboxyl group, and a propyl group are convergent. Chemical resolution was achieved by use of (S)-BINOL as a chiral auxiliary. 1H NMR titration data revealed that the title compound does not have the ability to differentiate both enantiomers of chiral amine and aminoalcohol guests. The approximately symmetric calix[4]arene skeleton of the partial cone conformer is presumed to be responsible for its undesirable chiral recognition ability.  相似文献

Two novel chiral di- and tri-amide derivatives of p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene were synthesized by (R)-(+)-1-Phenylethylamine via convenient reactions and then immobilized on aminopropyl functionalized silica particles. The prepared chiral calix[4]arenes and their silica polymers (Calix-SP1 and Calix-SP2) were characterized using 1H NMR, 13C NMR, FT-IR, and thermal and elemental analysis techniques.  相似文献

The synthesis and crystal structure of p-tert-butylthia- and p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene derivatives 17 substituted at the narrow rim by diethylthiophosphate ester groups, -PS(OEt)2 are reported. In these compounds the phosphorus atoms are directly attached to the phenolic O atoms of the calix units and the S atoms of the thiophosphate may serve as a two-electron donor to a metal ion. Their crystal structures were solved, which revealed their cone conformation. Their cation-binding properties have been established by liquid-liquid extraction of metal picrates from water into dichloromethane and stability constant determination in acetonitrile using UV-absorption spectrophotometry. Quantitative extraction was achieved for Ag+ (%E = 99) with the tetra-substituted thiacalix[4]arene derivative. The complexes were found to be of 1:1 stoichiometry and the location of the metal cations was shown to be nearby the sulphur atoms by 1H NMR.  相似文献

Metal-catalyzed asymmetric transfer hydrogenation is a powerful and practical method for the reduction of ketones to produce the corresponding secondary alcohols, which are valuable building blocks in the pharmaceutical, perfume, and agrochemical industries. Hence, a series of novel chiral β-amino alcohols were synthesized by chiral amines with regioselective ring opening of (S)-propylene oxide or reaction with (S)-(+)-2-hydroxypropyl p-toluenesulfonate by a straightforward method. The chiral ruthenium catalytic systems generated from [Ru(arene)(μ-Cl)Cl]2 complexes and chiral phosphinite ligands based on amino alcohol derivatives were employed in asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of ketones to give the corresponding optically active alcohols; (2S)-1-{[(2S)-2-[(diphenylphosphanyl)oxy]propyl][(1R)-1-phenylethyl]amino}propan-2-yldiphenylphosphinitobis[dichol-oro(η6-benzene)ruthenium(II)] acts an excellent catalyst in the reduction of α-naphthyl methyl ketone, giving the corresponding alcohol with up to 99% ee. The substituents on the backbone of the ligands were found to have a remarkable effect on both the conversion and enantioselectivity of the catalysts. Furthermore, this transfer hydrogenation is characterized by low reversibility under these conditions.  相似文献

The binuclear Co(II) complexes of calix[4]arene substituted 2-vanillin (R1) and 2-hydroxy naphthaldimine (R2), Schiff bases (Co2L1 and Co2L2) have been synthesized, characterized and employed as models to mimic monooxygenase in the catalytical oxidation of olefins. The kinetic mathematical model (oxygen rebound mechanism) for olefin cleavage catalyzed by the complexes has been proposed. The results show that, compared to the calix[4]arene-free analogous, the mono and multinuclear complexes of calix[4]arene Schiff bases as catalyst exhibit high activity in the olefin catalytic oxidation.  相似文献

In the present study, two novel calix[4]arene receptors containing triphenylamine units in 1,3-alternate conformation have been synthesized and characterized in detail. First, the 25,27-dipropoxy-26,28-bis[(3-aminopropyl)oxy]-calix[4]arene 4 and 25,26,27,28-tetra[(3-aminopropyl)oxy]-calix[4]arene 7 were prepared by using convenient reagents. Then, these amino derivatives of calix[4]arene were converted to Schiff base derivatives appended to triphenylamine of calix[4]arene (5 and 8) using 4-formyltriphenylamine via condensation. The 1,3-alternate conformation of the synthesized calix[4]arenes was determined by 1H and 13C NMR analyses. Also, their structures have been characterized by using 1H and 13C NMR, infrared, and elemental analyses.

The native and methyl ester amino acids have been extracted by calix[4]azacrowns 1 (1,3-[ethylene-bis-aminocarbonylmethoxy)]-p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene) and 2 (1,3-[propylene-bis-aminocarbonylmethoxy)]-p-tert-butyl-calix[4]arene) from an aqueous phase into a chloroform phase and transported through a chloroform liquid membrane as ion pairs in the presence of picrate or tropaeolin 00 as counter ions aiming their separation. The amino acids under study exhibited good extractability by calix[4]azacrowns 1 and 2. Both receptors 1 and 2 showed good extractability towards amino acids under study. The results are discussed in term of correlation of structural properties of amino acids and calix[4]azacrowns involved in experiments. In this respect, the influence of chain length of receptors upon extraction and transport of amino acids, and the nature of anions used as counter ions are evaluated.  相似文献
