A new facile magnetic micro‐solid‐phase extraction coupled to gas chromatography and mass spectrometry detection was developed for the extraction and determination of selected antidepressant drugs in biological fluids using magnetite‐MCM‐41 as adsorbent. The synthesized sorbent was characterized by several spectroscopic techniques. The maximum extraction efficiency for extraction of 500 μg/L antidepressant drugs from aqueous solution was obtained with 15 mg of magnetite‐MCM‐41 at pH 12. The analyte was desorbed using 100 μL of acetonitrile prior to gas chromatography determination. This method was rapid in which the adsorption procedure was completed in 60 s. Under the optimized conditions using 15 mL of antidepressant drugs sample, the calibration curve showed good linearity in the range of 0.05–500 μg/L (r 2 = 0.996–0.999). Good limits of detection (0.008–0.010 μg/L) were obtained for the analytes with good relative standard deviations of <8.0% (n  = 5) for the determination of 0.1, 5.0, and 500.0 μg/L of antidepressant drugs. This method was successfully applied to the determination of amitriptyline and chlorpromazine in plasma and urine samples. The recoveries of spiked plasma and urine samples were in the range of 86.1–115.4%. Results indicate that magnetite micro‐solid‐phase extraction with gas chromatography and mass spectrometry is a convenient, fast, and economical method for the extraction and determination of amitriptyline and chlorpromazine in biological samples.  相似文献

Determination of methamphetamine is of great importance in clinical and forensic laboratories because there are low dosages of drugs in the biological media and social problems created due to the methamphetamine consumption. Polymeric carbon based‐nano composites are reasonable candidates for dispersive solid phase extraction method due to facial and affordable synthesis process and high selectivity and sensitivity. Nano graphene oxide polypyrolle composite was synthesized and employed as dispersive solid‐phase extraction adsorbent for methamphetamine extraction from complex urine matrix. Full characterization of the prepared nano graphene oxide polypyrolle composite was completed and the influential extraction parameters were investigated through one‐parameter‐at‐a‐time method. High‐performance liquid chromatography detectors were applied as detection and quantification instrument. The optimized extraction parameters included 300 µL of methanol, 10 min of extraction and desorption time, 6000 stirring rate, urine pH value of 10, 60 mg of adsorbent, and 6 mL of urine volume. After outlining the calibration curve, the linear range of the method was considered as 30–800 ng/mL. The detection limit for the suggested method was 9 ng/mL. The analysis of addicted subjects with the proposed method confirmed the utility of the method in different analytical and clinical laboratories.  相似文献

A simple and sensitive analytical method for four isomers of glycopyrrolate in rat plasma was developed using cation‐selective exhaustive injection‐sweeping cyclodextrin‐modified electrokinetic chromatography (CSEI‐Sweeping‐CDEKC) for online enrichment combined with dispersive micro‐solid‐phase extraction pretreatment. The CSEI‐Sweeping‐CDEKC was conducted on an uncoated fused silica capillary (40.2 cm × 75 μm) with an applied voltage of –20 kV. The electrophoretic analysis was carried out in 30 mM phosphate solution at pH 2.0 containing 20 mg/mL sulfated‐β‐cyclodextrin and 5% acetonitrile. Under these optimized conditions, the detection limit for racemic glycopyrrolate was found to be 2.0 ng/mL and this method could increase 495‐fold detection sensitivity compared with the traditional injection method. Additionally, the parameters that affected the extraction efficiency of dispersive micro‐solid‐phase extraction were also examined systematically. The glycopyrrolate isomers in rat plasma samples as low as 0.0625 μg/mL were able to be separated and detected by capillary electrophoresis with the aid of CSEI‐sweeping. The findings of this study show that the dispersive micro‐solid‐phase extraction pretreatment coupled with CSEI‐Sweeping‐CDEKC is a rapid and convenient method for analyzing glycopyrrolate isomers in rat plasma.  相似文献

A dispersive micro‐solid‐phase extraction procedure coupled with capillary electrophoresis ultraviolet detection was developed for determination of verapamil in plasma samples. Graphene oxide/polydopamin was synthesized by a one‐step polymerization method, and graphene oxide/Fe3O4 (magnetic graphene oxide) nanocomposite was prepared by coprecipitation method. Moreover, they were fully characterized. The use of hazardous and water‐immiscible solvents was scaled down, and only 500 μL of acetone was required as the desorption solvent. The detector response concentration plots were linear in the range of 5–500 ng/mL, and the proposed method was validated according to guidelines. The precision and accuracy were less than 15%. Dispersive micro‐solid‐phase extraction method provides a rapid, environmentally friendly, and sensitive analysis for the verapamil in patient plasma samples, which is adequate for therapeutic drug monitoring and pharmacokinetic studies.  相似文献

In this study, a simultaneous determination method for nitrogen‐containing polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons including 7‐methylquinoline, acridine, 5,6‐benzoquinoline, carbazole, and 9‐methylcarbazole was developed. This method is based on a micro‐solid phase extraction using TiO2 nanotube arrays as an adsorbent in combination with HPLC. Some factors that had an effect on the enrichment were optimized, such as sample pH, surfactant concentration, ion strength, type of eluent, equilibrium time, and desorption time. Under the optimized conditions, the linear ranges and LODs were in the range of 0.01–100 and 0.0035–0.81 μg/L, respectively. The precisions of the proposed method were <9.51% (RSD, n = 6). The developed method was validated with four real samples, and the spiked recoveries were in the range of 77–109.6%. All these results demonstrated that this novel micro‐solid‐phase extraction technique was a reliable alternative to conventional preconcentration method for the extraction and analysis of such nitrogen‐containing polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in complex samples.  相似文献

The present work describes a simple route to magnetize MIL‐53(Al)‐NH2 sorbent for rapid extraction of phenol residues from environmental samples. To extend the applications and performances of the metal‐organic frameworks in the field of adsorption materials, we combined the properties of metal‐organic frameworks and magnetite to decrease the extraction time and simplify the extraction process as well. In this study, a simple and quick vortex‐assisted dispersive magnetic solid phase extraction method for the extraction of ten United States Environmental Protection Agency's priority phenols from water samples prior to analysis by high‐performance liquid chromatography with photodiode array detection was proposed. The developed method exhibits a rapid enrichment of the target analytes within 10 s for extraction and 10 s for desorption. Low detection limits of 1.8‐41.7 µg/L and quantitation limits of 6.0‐139.0 µg/L with the relative standard deviations for intra‐ and interday analyses less than 12% were achieved. Satisfactory recoveries in the range of 80‐111% with the relative standard deviations less than 11% demonstrated that Fe3O4/MIL‐53(Al)‐NH2 is promising sorbent in the field of magnetic solid‐phase extraction for environmental samples.  相似文献

This study describes the synthesis and application of a magnetic amino‐functionalized hollow silica‐titania microsphere as a new sorbent for magnetic dispersive micro‐solid phase extraction of selected pesticides in coffee bean samples. The sorbent was fully characterized by Fourier‐transform infrared spectroscopy, field emission scanning electron microscopy, transition electron microscopy, energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy, and vibrating sample magnetometry techniques. Significant extraction parameters affecting the proposed method, such as extraction time, sorbent amount, sample solution pH, salt amount, and desorption conditions (desorption solvent and time) were investigated and optimized. All the figures of merits were validated in coffee bean samples under the matrix‐matched calibration method. Linear dynamic ranges were 5–250 µg/kg with the determination coefficients (R2) > 0.9980. The limits of detection for the pesticides of chlorpyrifos, malathion, hexaconazole, and atrazine were 1.42, 1.43, 1.35, and 1.33 µg/kg, respectively. Finally, the method was successfully applied for the determination of the pesticides in green and roasted coffee bean samples, and the obtained recoveries were in the range of 74–113% for spiked samples. The prepared sorbent could be used for the magnetic dispersive micro‐solid phase extraction of pesticides in the plant‐derived food matrix.  相似文献

An optimized method for the determination of five synthetic polycyclic: celestolide (ADBI), phantolide (AHMI), traseolide (ATII), galaxolide (HHCB), tonalide (AHTN), and two nitro‐aromatic musks: musk xylene (MX) and musk ketone (MK), in water samples is described. The method involves a dispersive micro solid‐phase extraction (D‐μ‐SPE) plus ultrasound‐assisted solvent desorption (UASD) prior to their determination by gas chromatography‐mass spectrometry (GC‐MS) using the selected ion storage (SIS) mode. Factors affecting the extraction efficiency of the target analytes from water samples and ultrasound‐assisted solvent desorption were optimized by a Box‐Behnken design method. The optimal extraction conditions involved immersing 10.1 mg of a typical octadecyl (C18) bonded silica adsorbent (i.e., ENVI‐18) in a 50 mL water sample. After 10.4 min of extraction by vigorously shaking, the adsorbent was collected and dried on a filter, and the target musks were desorbed by ultrasound‐assisted for 38 sec with n‐hexane (200 μL) as the desorption solvent. A 10 μL aliquot was then directly determined by large‐volume injection GC‐MS. The limits of quantitation (LOQs) were 1.2 to 5 ng/L. The precision for these analytes, as indicated by relative standard deviations (RSDs), were less than 11% for both intra‐ and inter‐day analysis. Accuracy, expressed as the mean extraction recovery, was between 74% and 92%. A preliminary analysis of the effluents from municipal wastewater treatment plants (MWTP) and river water samples revealed that HHCB and AHTN were the two most commonly detected synthetic musks; their concentration were determined to range from 88 to 690 ng/L for effluent samples, and 5 to 320 ng/L for river water samples. This is a simple, low cost, effective, and eco‐friendly analytical method.  相似文献

An adsorbent of carbon dot@poly(glycidyl methacrylate)@Fe3O4 nanoparticles has been developed for the microwave‐assisted magnetic solid‐phase extraction of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in environmental aqueous samples prior to high‐performance liquid chromatography with UV/visible spectroscopy detection. Poly(glycidyl methacrylate) was synthesized by atom transfer radical polymerization. The chain length and amount of carbon dots attached on them can be easily controlled through changing polymerization conditions, which contributes to tunable extraction performance. The successful fabrication of the nano‐adsorbent was confirmed by transmission electronic microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy and vibrating sample magnetometry. The extraction performance of the adsorbent was evaluated by using polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons as model analytes. The key factors influencing the extraction, such as microwave power, adsorption time, desorption time and desorption solvents were investigated in detail. Under the optimal conditions, the microwave‐assisted method afforded magnetic solid‐phase extraction with short extraction time, wide dynamic linear range (0.02–200 μg/L), good linearity (R2 ≥ 98.57%) and low detection limits (20–90 ng/L) for model analytes. The adsorbent was successfully applied for analyzing polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in environmental aqueous samples and the recoveries were in the range of 86.0–124.2%. Thus, the proposed method is a promising candidate for fast and reliable preconcentration of trace polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in real water samples.  相似文献

A novel mixed‐mode adsorbent was prepared by functionalizing silica with tris(2‐aminoethyl)amine and 3‐phenoxybenzaldehyde as the main mixed‐mode scaffold due to the presence of the plentiful amino groups and benzene rings in their molecules. The adsorption mechanism was probed with acidic, natural and basic compounds, and the mixed hydrophobic and ion‐exchange interactions were found to be responsible for the adsorption of analytes. The suitability of dispersive solid‐phase extraction was demonstrated in the determination of chlorophenols in environmental water. Several parameters, including sample pH, desorption solvent, ionic strength, adsorbent dose, and extraction time were optimized. Under the optimal extraction conditions, the proposed dispersive solid‐phase extraction coupled with high‐performance liquid chromatography showed good linearity range and acceptable limits of detection (0.22∽0.54 ng/mL) for five chlorophenols. Notably, the higher extraction recoveries (88.7∽109.7%) for five chlorophenols were obtained with smaller adsorbent dose (10 mg) and shorter extraction time (15 min) compared with the reported methods. The proposed method might be potentially applied in the determination of trace chlorophenols in real water samples.  相似文献

A simple method for the simultaneous and trace analysis of four synthetic food azo dyes including carmoisine, ponceau 4R, sunset yellow, and allura red from some foodstuff samples was developed by combining dispersive μ‐solid‐phase extraction and high‐performance liquid chromatography with diode array detection. Zein‐modified magnetic Fe3O4 nanoparticles were prepared and used for μ‐solid‐phase extraction of trace amounts of mentioned food dyes. The prepared modified magnetic nanoparticles were characterized by scanning electron microscopy and FTIR spectroscopy. The factors affecting the extraction of the target analytes such as pH, amount of sorbent, extraction time, type and volume of the desorption eluent, and desorption time were investigated. Under the optimized conditions, the method provided good repeatability with relative standard deviations lower than 5.8% (n = 9). Limit of detection values ranged between 0.3 and 0.9 ng/mL with relatively high enrichment factors (224–441). Comparing the obtained results indicated that Fe3O4 nanoparticles modified by zein biopolymer show better analytical application than bare magnetic nanoparticles. The proposed method was also applied for the determination of target synthetic food dyes in foodstuff samples such as carbonated beverage, snack, and candy samples.  相似文献

A new type of adsorbent composed of magnetic three‐dimensional graphene coated with silver nanoparticles was synthesized by an electroless technique and used in the magnetic solid‐phase extraction of selected pesticides (fenitrothion, chlorpyrifos, and hexaconazole) before gas chromatography with a micro‐electron capture detector. The adsorbent was characterized using Fourier‐transform infrared spectroscopy, X‐ray diffraction, vibrating sample magnetometry, and field‐emission scanning electron microscopy. The important extraction parameters such as pH, adsorbent dose, extraction time, and desorption conditions were investigated. Under the optimal conditions, the analytical figures of merit were obtained as: linear dynamic range of 0.1–5 ng/g with determination coefficients of 0.991–0.996; limit of detection of 0.07–0.13 ng/g; limit of quantification of 0.242–0.448 ng/g; and the intraday and interday relative standard deviations (= 5 ng/g, = 3) were 3.8–8.7 and 6.6–8.9%, respectively. The developed method was successfully applied for analysis of the selected pesticides in tomato and grape with extraction recoveries in the range of 72.8–109.6%.  相似文献

Glucose‐derived carbon‐decorated magnetic microspheres were synthesized by an easy hydrothermal carbonization method and used as a high‐efficiency adsorbent to extract bisphenols in water and tea drinks. The as‐prepared carbon‐decorated magnetic microspheres had a well‐defined core–shell structure with a shell thickness of about 5 nm. The microspheres possessed high saturation magnetization at 60.8 emu/g and excellent chemical stability in aqueous solution. The experimental parameters affecting the extraction efficiency, including extraction time, pH, adsorbent dosage, desorption solvents, desorption time, and solution volume were evaluated. Electrostatic and π–π interactions were the major driving forces during extraction. Overall, a new magnetic solid‐phase extraction method of determining bisphenols was developed on the basis of as‐prepared magnetic microspheres. The method had a wide linear range, low limits of detection (0.03–0.10 µg/L), and high recoveries (85.4–104.6%).  相似文献

A simple, effective, and robust magnetic solid‐phase extraction method was developed using magnetite/reduced graphene oxide nanoparticles as the adsorbent for the simultaneous determination of Sudan dyes (I, II, III, and IV) in foodstuffs. The magnetite/reduced graphene oxide nanoparticles were characterized by X‐ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and vibrating sample magnetometry. The extraction parameters including extraction time, elution solution, and elution time and volume were investigated in detail. Such magnetite/reduced graphene oxide nanoparticles based magnetic solid‐phase extraction in combination with high‐performance liquid chromatography and variable wavelength detection gave the detection limits of 3–6 μg/kg for Sudan I–IV in chili sauce, tomato sauce, chili powder, and chili flake samples. The recoveries were 79.6–108% at three spiked levels with the intra‐ and inter‐day relative standard deviations of 1.2–8.6 and 4.5–9.6%, respectively. The feasibility was further performed by a comparison with commercial alumina‐N. This method is suitable for the routine analysis of Sudan dyes due to its sensitivity, simplicity, and low cost.  相似文献

In this work, zinc oxide/polypyrrole nanocomposite coating was fabricated on stainless steel and evaluated as a novel headspace solid‐phase microextraction fiber coating for extraction of ultra‐trace amounts of environmental pollutants, namely, phthalate esters, in water samples. The fiber nanocomposite were prepared by a two‐step process including the electrochemical deposition of polypyrrole on the surface of stainless steel in the first step, and electrochemical deposition of zinc oxide nanosheets in the second step. Porous structure together with zinc oxide nanosheets with the average diameter of 30 nm were observed on the surface by using scanning electron microscopy. The effective parameters on extraction of phthalate esters (i.e., extraction temperature, extraction time, desorption temperature, desorption time, salt concentration, and stirring rate) were investigated and optimized by one‐variable‐at‐a‐time method. Under optimized conditions (extraction temperature, 90°C; extraction time, 40 min; desorption temperature, 270°C; desorption time, 5 min; salt concentration, 25% w/v; and stirring rate, 1000 rpm), the limits of detection were in the range of 0.05–0.8 μg/L, and the repeatability and fiber‐to‐fiber reproducibility were in the ranges of 6.1–7.3% and 8.7–10.2%, respectively.  相似文献

An efficient on‐site extraction technique to determine carcinogenic heterocyclic aromatic amines in seawater has been reported. A micro‐solid‐phase extraction device placed inside a portable battery‐operated pump was used for the on‐site extraction of seawater samples. Before on‐site applications, parameters that influence the extraction efficiency (extraction time, type of sorbent materials, suitable desorption solvent, desorption time, and sample volume) were investigated and optimized in the laboratory. The developed method was then used for the on‐site sampling of heterocyclic aromatic amines determination in seawater samples close to distillation plant. Once the on‐site extraction completed, the small extraction device with the analytes was brought back to the laboratory for analysis using high‐performance liquid chromatography with fluorescence detection. Based on the optimized conditions, the calibration curves were linear over the concentration range of 0.05–20 μg/L with correlation coefficients up to 0.996. The limits of detection were 0.004–0.026 μg/L, and the reproducibility values were between 1.3 and 7.5%. To evaluate the extraction efficiency, a comparison was made with conventional solid‐phase extraction and it was applied to various fortified real seawater samples. The average relative recoveries obtained from the spiked seawater samples varied in the range 79.9–95.2%.  相似文献

A convenient and accurate analysis approach that combined solid‐phase extraction and high‐performance liquid chromatography was developed to determine the amount of Rhodamine B in red wine and Xiang‐jiang river water samples. A novel composite, magnesium hydroxide/carbon nanotube composites, was synthesized and used as the solid‐phase extractant for the preconcentration/analysis of Rhodamine B. Magnesium hydroxide/carbon nanotube composites, which combined the merits of carbon nanotubes and magnesium hydroxide, exhibited acceptable adsorption and desorption efficiencies for Rhodamine B. The linear range of the proposed solid‐phase extraction with high‐performance liquid chromatography method for Rhodamine B was 0.05–20.0 mg/L, with a limit of detection of 3.6 μg/L. The precision and reproducibility of the developed solid‐phase extraction with high‐performance liquid chromatography method and the batch‐to‐batch reproducibility of the solid‐phase extractant were also validated at spiking levels of 0.5 and 2.0 mg/L. The recovery of Rhodamine B was 94.33–106.7%, and the recovery relative standard deviations of the intra‐ and interday precisions were ≤ 3.83 and ≤ 6.01%, respectively. The relative standard deviation of the batch‐to‐batch reproducibility was ≤ 7.98%.  相似文献

In this study, firstly, a double‐reservoir and switchable prototype of a micro‐chip along with the respective holders were fabricated. A cyclic desorption process using microliter volume of organic solvent was adopted to prevent any outdoor contamination. As extractive phases, two identical sheets of electrospun polyamide/polypyrrole/titania nanofibers were synthesized using core–shell electro‐spinning technique and utilized for determination of memantine in plasma samples. Field emission scanning electron microscopy images showed a high degree of porosity and homogeneity throughout the sheet structure. Also, energy dispersive X‐ray analysis confirmed the presence of titania, while the recorded Fourier transform infrared spectra proved the chemical structures of the polymeric mats. The incorporation of titania as well as polypyrrole in the composition of polyamide nanofibers improved both mechanical stability and extraction capacity of the extractive phase and therefore facilitated the extraction/desorption process. The limits of detection and quantification were 0.01 and 0.04 ng/mL, respectively. In addition, the interday and intraday precisions were lower than 6.7% (n = 3). The linearity was in the range of 0.14–75.00 ng/mL, while recoveries were between 94.1 and 98.4% with the regression coefficient of 0.9987.  相似文献

A novel two‐step extraction technique combining ionic‐liquid‐based dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction with magnetic solid‐phase extraction was developed for the preconcentration and separation of aflatoxins in animal feedstuffs before high‐performance liquid chromatography coupled with fluorescence detection. In this work, ionic liquid 1‐octyl‐3‐methylimidazolium hexafluorophosphate was used as the extractant in dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction, and hydrophobic pelargonic acid modified Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles as an efficient adsorbent were applied to retrieve the aflatoxins‐containing ionic liquid. Notably, the target of magnetic nanoparticles was the ionic liquid rather than the aflatoxins. Because of the rapid mass transfer associated with the dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction and magnetic solid phase steps, fast extraction could be achieved. The main parameters affecting the extraction recoveries of aflatoxins were investigated and optimized. Under the optimum conditions, vortexing at 2500 rpm for 1 min in the dispersive liquid–liquid microextraction and magnetic solid‐phase extraction and then desorption by sonication for 2 min with acetonitrile as eluent. The recoveries were 90.3–103.7% with relative standard deviations of 3.2–6.4%. Good linearity was observed with correlation coefficients ranged from 0.9986 to 0.9995. The detection limits were 0.632, 0.087, 0.422 and 0.146 ng/mL for aflatoxins B1, B2, G1, and G2, respectively. The results were also compared with the pretreatment method carried out by conventional immunoaffinity columns.  相似文献

An industrial MCM‐41‐miniaturized matrix solid‐phase dispersion extraction coupled with response surface methodology was explored to determine L‐epicatechin, typhaneoside, isorhamnetin‐3‐O‐neohespeidoside, naringenin, kaempferol, and isorhamnetin in Pollen typhae by ultra‐high performance liquid chromatography connected to a photodiode array detection. Several variables were optimized in detail, including mesh number of sieve, type of adsorbent, mass ratio of sample to adsorbent, grinding time, methanol concentration, and elution volume. Central composite design was applied to optimize the best conditions for the maximum yields of the total flavonoids. The results displayed a good linear relationship (R > 0.9992) and the recoveries ranged from 92.9 to 103% (RSD < 4.53%) of the six flavonoids. The optimal method with high efficiency and low consumption was obviously better than heating reflux and ultrasonic extraction. It was proven that the developed industrial MCM‐41‐miniaturized matrix solid‐phase dispersion extraction coupled with simple ultra‐high performance liquid chromatography method could be a rapid and efficient tool for extraction and determination of flavonoids in natural products.  相似文献
