The frequency response of a diffusion transducer with gauze electrodes, studied theoretically at high frequencies, is proportional to -3/2 starting with = D/R 2 at < /R 2 and to -1 at > /R 2. Here, = 2f, f is the signal frequency, the electrolyte viscosity, D a diffusion coefficient, and R the radius of the gauze filaments. The calculation is compared with experiment.  相似文献

Summary The recently developed relativistic double perturbation theory is extended to handle relativistic changes of molecular structure more easily. This is achieved by simple coordinate scalings. Accurate higher order mixed perturbation energies for H 2 + are calculated. The relativistic changes of bond energy,DE, of bond length,R e , and especially of force constant,k, and of anharmonicity,a, are large, up to 100%·(Z/c)2. The dominant contributions tok anda are due to the indirect change of the nonrelativistick anda connected with the relativistic change of bond length. Summary The hydrocarbon composition of the particle and gas phases in the urban atmosphere has been studied by filtration and parallel adsorption on active charcoal and polyurethane foam (PUF). Gas chromatography (GC) and GC coupled to mass spectrometry (GC-MS) have been used for the analysis of the organic matter extracts obtained with each system. In the case of the particle and PUF samples these extracts were fractionated into aliphatic and aromatic compounds. This approach has allowed to identify up to 247 hydrocarbon molecules showing that C0–C5 alkylbenzenes are the major compounds in the charcoal extracts whereas C14–C23 n-alkanes, C0–C4 alkylnaphthalenes, C0–C4 alkylbiphenyls and C3–C5 alkylbenzenes are those predominantly found in the PUF materials. The particles essentially contain C17–C38 n-alkanes and parent polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH). These qualitative differences are paralleled by a progressive concentration decrease from the more to the less volatile hydrocarbons. Thus, the total charcoal extracts average 80 g/m3, the PUF compounds represent 4 /m3 and the particle hydrocarbons 0.7 g/m3. These latter airborne materials are essentially composed of petrogenic residues 0.6 g/m3 (aliphatic fraction) whereas the pyrolytic PAH only involve 0.08 g/m3.  相似文献

Summary Classes of coronoids (or degenerate coronoids), r and q are obtained by providing the rectangle-shaped benzenoids Rj (m, 3) with a naphthalenic or pyrenic hole, respectively. The numbers of Kekulé structures (K) are studied. It was found for theK numbers of the classes in question:r=4/5R andq=1/5R. The classes r and q are similar to r and q, respectively, but the naphthalenic or pyrenic hole is oriented in a different way. For these classes it was found:r=3/5R,q=2/5R.

Die Anzahl von Kekulé-Strukturen (K) wird untersucht; dabei wurde für die untersuchten Klassenr=4/5R undq=1/5R gefunden. Die Klassen r und q verhalten sich ähnlich, das Naphthalin- oder Pyren-Loch ist jedoch anders orientiert; dafür wurder=3/5R undq=2/5R gefunden.

Self-consistent-field and configuration-interaction studies were performed on borazine, using a double-zeta basis set augmented by six diffuse -functions. Low-lying singlet and triplet states of the A 1 , A 2 and E species were calculated, corresponding to * excited valence and Rydberg states. A selection out of singly and doubly excited configurations relative to a set of reference configurations was made for each species. Calculated vertical excitation energies (in eV) are 7.12 for 1 A 2(V), 8.45 for 1 E (3p-R), 8.57 for 1 A 1(V), 8.9 for 1 E(V-R), 9.55 for 1 E(3d-R), 6.98 for 3 A 1(V), 7.27 for 3 E(V), 7.82 for 3 A 2(V), 8.30 for 3 E(3p-R), and 9.5 for 3 E(3d-R), where V and R refer to valence or Rydberg character. The results are compared with experimental excitation energies, previous ab initio studies of borazine, and with recent ab initio studies of benzene.Dedicated to Professor Dr. H. Following the earlier study of the- and-casein micelle structure, we will now report results from the s1-casein. Static and dynamic light scattering measurements were performed in a concentration range from 0.5 to 6.0 mg/ml atT=35 °C. A constant apparent molecular weight of 3.4×106 daltons was found over the whole range. The apparent radii of gyration and the diffusion coefficients also show no detectable concentration dependence. The ratio of the two radiiR g /R H =2.78+0.21 is characteristic of extended rigid structures.R g is the radius of gyration andR H the hydrodynamic radius defined via the Stokes-Einstein relationship from the translational diffusion coefficient. This is in agreement with the analysis of the pronounced angular dependence of the scattered light, which leads to the conclusion that s1-casein forms very long worm-like micelles. The contour length of one cylinder was found to beL1600 nm and the chains appear to be composed of about 12 Kuhn segments. At higher concentrations, lateral aggregation proportional to the concentration is observed. Beyond the overlap concentrationc * the asymptotic scattering curve changes its shape, which is interpreted as the beginning of a reversible gelation.  相似文献

An LCAO-MO-SCF-CI model along the lines introduced by Del Bene and Jaffé is developed that is capable of reproducing the better identified observed spectra of nitrogen heterocycles with a rms error of 1000 cm–1. The model is applied to the spectra of pyrrole, benzene, pyridine, the diazines, symmetric triazine and symmetric tetrazine. The benzene and pyridine spectra are reproduced nearly exactly. The band observed in pyrrole at 6.5 eV is calculated as two bands at 6.5 eV, but they are assigned * and not . No evidence is found for the low lying 1 B 2g in pyrazine, reported at 30400 cm–1 in pure crystals. The lowest excited singlet of sym. triazine is calculated as 1 E (n *), not 1 A2 (n), in agreement with a recent interpretation of Fischer and Small. Several bands are reassigned, and the electronic nature of the transitions discussed. Naphthalene and quinoxaline are examined to insure that no large drift of results are met with molecules of other sizes. Comparison of eigenvalues with molecular ionization potentials is made. Here the numerical agreement appears satisfactory for the first few ionization potentials only.  相似文献

Modified functions r (r) and p (p) of the spherically averaged electron densities (r) in position space and (p) in momentum space are found to be convex (i.e., the second derivatives are nonnegative everywhere) for all the 103 ground-state atoms from hydrogen (atomic number Z=1) to lawrencium (Z=103), if the parameters are chosen to be 0.6 and 1.4. The convex property of r (r) and p (p) is used to derive upper bounds to the density functions (r) and (p) in terms of their radial moments r s and p s or frequency moments t and t . In most cases, the present bounds are shown to be more general and more accurate than those reported in the literature.  相似文献

Summary The virial theorem for a molecule in the relativistic clamped-nuclei approximation is derived. Summary Qualitative molecular orbital considerations of the complexes [5-CPV(CO)3 L] (L = substituted phosphane, SbPh3, AsPh3, CN) suggest that s' V chemical shift parameters () obtained for these compounds should correlate with the -acceptor abilities of L. The first vertical ionization potentials (I) of phosphorus compounds P(Xi)3, OP(Xi)3, SP(Xi)3, (4-XC6H4)3P, and PCX are related to the inductive, resonance, and polarizability parameters of inorganic, organic, and organometallic substituents X by dependences of the type I = I H + aI + bR + + c, where I H is the I value for X = H. The I values are also affected by hyperconjugation. The ratio of the contributions of the resonance (bR +) and polarizability (c) effects to the I value is determined by the degree of delocalization of the unpaired electron and the positive charge in the radical cations formed upon ionization of neutral molecules. The R + resonance parameters of organosilicon, organogermanium, and organotin substituents bound to the P ·+ radical cation center were calculated for the first time.  相似文献

A novel electroanalytical method for the determination of physcion is described for the first time. Physcion yields an adsorption catalytic voltammetric peak at –0.74V (vs. SCE) in 0.4molL–1 NH4Cl–NH3·H2O buffer solution (pH 10.5) at a carbon paste electrode (CPE). The experimental results indicated that physcion is efficiently accumulated at a CPE by adsorption. In the subsequent potential scan, physcion was reduced to a homologous anthrahydroquinone compound. The compound was then immediately oxidized to physcion by the dissolved oxygen in the solution, and then physcion was again reduced at the CPE. As a result, a cyclic catalytic reaction was established. The second-order derivative peak current is proportional to the physcion concentration in the ranges of 2.0×10–104.0×10–9molL–1 (accumulation 90s) and 4.0×10–92.0×10–8molL–1 (accumulation 60s). The limit of detection is 8×10–11molL–1 (S/N=3) for a 120s accumulation time. The method was applied to the direct determination of physcion in the medicinal plant polygonum multiflorum Thumb with satisfactory results.  相似文献

The -radiolysis of Methyl Red solution in HCl medium at pH=2 has been studied along with energy transfer reaction brought about byF and hole centers of -irradiated NaCl. The G-values for degradation of the azo dye indicator by radiolysis and -irradiated salt were determined as 9·10–1 and 4.8·10–3, respectively. The kinetic rate constants (k) of degradation are evaluated as 2·10–5 rad–1 in the case of direct radiolysis, while for the irradiated salt it is 2·10–7 rad–1. The extent of degradation by direct -radiolysis is 100–200 times greater as compared to that by the -irradiated salt. The same mechanism is proposed for radiolysis as well as the reaction induced by -irradiated sodium chloride.  相似文献

Wave functions and energies were calculated for the 2s, 3p 0, and 4d 0 states of the hydrogen atom using the Messmer and Rayleigh-Ritz variational methods with minimization of the second eigenvalue. The wave functions were linear expansions of Gaussian functions and both linear and exponential parameters were varied. Except for the two term expansions, calculated values of the energies and expectation values, r –1, r and r 2 were within two percent of the true values for both methods.  相似文献

A -mercaptopropionic acid (MPA) self-assembled monolayer modified electrode (MPA/SAM/Au) on a gold electrode has been fabricated. The characterization of the MPA/SAM/Au was investigated using attenuated total reflection-fourier transform infrared (ATR-FTIR) and A.C. impedance. The electrochemical behaviors of p-aminophenol (p-AP) were studied at the MPA/SAM/Au by cyclic voltammetry and semi-derivative voltammetry (SDV) in BR buffer solution. The modified electrode shows excellent electrocatalytic activity for the redox of p-AP and accelerates the electron transfer rate. The diffusion coefficient (D) is 4.55×10–6cm2s–1. The oxidative peak current increases linearly with the concentration of p-AP in the range of 4.0×10–88×10–6molL–1 and 1.0×10–52×10–4molL–1 by square wave voltammetry response, respectively. The detection limit (three times the signal blank/slope) is up to 1.2×10–8molL–1. The modified electrode is able to eliminate the interference of p-benzenediol, o-benzenediol and o-AP at a 40-, 90- or 70-fold concentration of p-AP, and it has been satisfactorily used for the determination of the real sample.  相似文献

Summary -Diketones react with [Mo(NO){HB(dmpz)3}I2] [HB (dmpz)3 = tris (3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl)borate] giving the cationic complexes [Mo(NO) {HB(dmpz)3}{OC(R)CRC-(R)O}]+ (R = R = Me, R = H, Me or n-Bu; R = R = Ph, R = H; R = Me, R = n-Bu, R = H), isolated as triiodide salts. Electrochemical studies show that these complexes exhibit three electrode processes: two associated with oxidation of I inf3 sup– and one with reduction of the metal-containing cation. Reduction of the cation where R = R = R = Me with cobaltocene afforded the neutral paramagnetic [Mo(NO) {HB(dmpz)3} {OC(Me)CMeC(Me)O}], which was characterized by i.r. and e.p.r. spectroscopy. In contrast, 3-chloropentane-2, 4-dione reacts efficiently with [Mo(NO){HB(dmpz)3}I2] giving the known chloro-analogue, [Mo(NO)-{HB(dmpz)3}Cl2], and no -diketonate complex was detected. The X-ray crystal structure determination of [Mo(NO){HB(dmpz)3} {OC(Me)CMeC(Me)O}]I3 confirms that the cation is six-coordinate and shows that the 559-01 (diketonate) bonds are slightly longer than in comparable compounds, implying that the -diketonate ligand is not such a strong -donor as alkoxide groups.  相似文献

The first vertical ionization potentials (I) of halides HalX (Hal = Cl, Br, I; X is an inorganic or organic substituent) are linearly related to the inductive (I), resonance (R +), and polarizability () constants of the substituents X (I = a + bI + cR + + d). As the atomic number of the Hal element in the Hal·+X radical cations increases, the inductive interaction is strengthened while the polarizability interaction is weakened. Conjugation remains virtually independent of the Hal atom. The resonance R +-constants of the MX3 (M = Si, Ge, Sn, Pb) substituents bound to the Hal·+ radical cation centers were first calculated.  相似文献

Summary. (A) The origin of exciton interaction and examples of its application to organic stereochemistry are presented. (B) N,N-Carbonyl-bridged dipyrrinones constitute a new class of highly fluorescent chromophores suitable for investigations of stereochemistry and absolute configuration. N,N-Carbonylxanthobilirubic acid esters are strongly fluorescent, with a fluorescence quantum yield (F) 0.8, but produce only weak exciton CD from the trans-1,2-cyclohexanediol template. The ester of an analog with benzoic acid replacing propionic, N,N-carbonyl-8-(4-carboxyphenyl)-3-ethyl-2,7,9-trimethyl-(10H)-dipyrrin-1-one, exhibits strong fluorescence (F=0.68, em=493nm, ex=422nm in CHCl3) and UV-Vis absorption (21000 at 424nm) in organic solvents. Its diester with (1S,2S)-cyclohexanediol is fluorescent and exhibits exciton circular dichroism (=+15dm3·mol–1·cm–1, =432nm; =–4dm3·mol–1cm–1, =380nm) that correlates with the Exciton Chirality Rule.  相似文献

Summary The rigorous, collinear, canonical point transformation method with hyper-hyperbolic coordinates is extended to the infinite central mass problem in three dimensions. The initial transformation performed is (xA, y A, z A, x C, y C, z C) (, , , r, R, ), where (, , ) are the Euler angles; r and R are the AB and BC interatomic distances, respectively, and is the angle between r and R. A second transformation is then performed to (, , , , , ), where is the reaction coordinate mimicking the reaction path, and is the vibrational coordinate of the diatom. The transformed spaces are all one-to-one mappings from the original spaces, and thus do not have any three-to-one regions. The transformed momenta and Hamiltonians are derived, and are Hermitian in their respective transformed spaces.  相似文献
