The kinetics of the thermal substitution of (η5-C5H4C(O)CH3)Mn(CO)2SC4H8, (η15-C5H4C(O)CH2SCH3)Mn(CO)2 and (η15-C5H4C(O)CH2CH2SCH3)Mn(CO)2 by phosphines and phosphites have been measured in toluene and xylene. A proposed dissociative mechanism involving cleavage of the manganese–sulfur bonds as the rate-determining step is supported by the activation parameters obtained.  相似文献

Syntheses of Metal Carbonyls, XIV. Novel Vanadium, Niobium, and Tantalum Complexes Having Hydrido Bridges The novel homo- and heterodinuclear organometallic μ-hydrido compounds 3a – c of vanadium, niobium, and tantalum have been synthesized by light-induced reactions of the hydridoniobium complex (η5-C5H5)2NbH3 ( 1 ) with the half-sandwich complexes (η5-C5H5)M(CO)4 ( 2a : M = V; 2b : M = Nb; 2c : M = Ta). These compounds have the general composition LxM – H – Nb(CO)(η5-C5H5)2. The formation of the M – H – Nb moieties is a dark-reaction preceded by two photoreactions that are independent from each other elimination of CO from 2a – c and elimination of H2 from 1 , with the extruded carbon monoxide being transfered to the (η5-C5H5)2NbH fragment; subsequent fixation of the species (η5-C5H5)2Nb(CO)H thus generated to the photogragments (η5-C5H5)M(CO)3 results in donor stabilization of these latter groups. The structural architecture of the derivatives 3a und b was established by X-Ray diffraction. The hydrogen bridges are to be considered as three-center two-electron functions that are responsible for a serious lengthening of the otherwise by at least 40 pm shorter metal-to-metal distances amounting to 371.3 pm in 3a and 373.3 pm in 3b (mean values).  相似文献

The methylidene complex [(η-C5H5)Re(NO)(PPh3)(CH2)]+PF6?(I) yields kinetically labile sulfonium salts when treated with CH3SCH3, CH3SCH2C6H5, and (η-C5H5)Re(NO)(PPh3)(CH2SCH3) (V);the binuclear adduct formed in the latter case, [(η-C5H5)Re(NO)(PPh3)CH2]2S+CH3 (VI), is substantially more stable than the others and undergoes hydride transfer disproportionation to [(η-C5H5)Re(NO)(PPh3)(CHSCH3)]+PF6?(VII) and (η-C5H5)Re(NO)(PPh3)(CH3) (VIII) when heated.  相似文献

The neutral complexes (η5-C5H5NiXL (X = Cl, L = PPh3 (I); L = PCy3 (II); X = Br, L = PPh3 (III); L = PCy3 (IV); X = I, L = PPh3 (V); L = PCy3 (VI)) have been obtained by treating NiX2L2 with thallium cyclopentadienide. The same reaction in the presence of TlBF4 gives cationic derivatives [(η5-C5H5)NiL2]BF4 (L = 2PPh2Me (VII); L = dppe (VIII)), whereas mononuclear complexes containing two different ligands (L2 = PPh3 + PCy3 (IX)) or dinuclear [(η5-C5H5)Ni(PPh3)]2dppe(BF4)2 (X) are obtained from the reaction of III with TlBF4 in the presence of a different ligand. Reduction of cationic complexes with Na/Hg gives very unstable nickel(I) derivatives (η5-C5H5)NiL2, which could not be isolated purely. Similar reduction of neutral complexes under CO gives a mixture of decomposition products containing [(η5-C5H5)Ni(CO)]2 and nickel(o) carbonyls, whereas in the presence of acetylenes, dinuclear [(η5-C5H5)Ni]2(RCCR′) (R = R′ = Ph; R = Ph, R′ = H) are obtained.  相似文献

Preliminary reactions of the metal stabilized carbocationic species [(η-C5H5)Ni(μ-η2(Ni),η3(Mo)-HC2CMe2)Mo(CO)2(η-C5H4Me)]+ BF4 (Ni-Mo) with nucleophiles are reported. The Ni-Mo cationic propargylic complex undergoes nucleophilic attack by sodium methoxide to regenerate the neutral μ-alkyne complex [(η-C5H5)Ni{μ-η22-HC2CMe2(OMe)}Mo(CO)2(η-C5H4Me)] (Ni-Mo), from which the stabilized carbocation was originally derived by protonation. The new complexes [(η-C5H5)Ni{μ-η22-HC2CMe2(C5H5)}Mo(CO)2(η-C5H4Me)] (Ni-Mo), which exist as an inseparable mixture of 1(c)-1,3- and 2(c)-1,3-cyclopentadienyl isomers, were also obtained. When the Ni-Mo cations were treated with potassium t-butoxide, the alkyne isomers with pendant 1(c)-1,3- and 2(c)-1,3-cyclopentadienyl groups are also formed. The μ-hydroxyalkyne complex [(η-C5H5)Ni{μ-η22-HC2CMe2(OH)}-Mo(CO)(η-C5H4Me)] (Ni-Mo) was also isolated concurrently, and presumably arises from nucleophilic attack of fortuitously present hydroxide ions in the BuO reagent on the Ni-Mo cation. When NaBH4 was added to the Ni-Mo propargylic, nucleophilic attack by hydride resulted and the μ-iPrC2H heterobimetallic complex [(η-C5H5)Ni{μ-η22-HC2Pri}Mo(CO)2(η-C5H4Me)] (Ni-Mo) was recovered in good yield. Small quantities of other side-products were isolated and characterized spectroscopically. Some tantalizing differences in reactivity were observed when the corresponding Ni-W stabilized carbocation was reacted with methoxide ions. When the not fully characterized solid formed by protonating [(η-C5H5)Ni(μ-η22-{HC2CMe2)(OMe)}W(CO)2(η-C5H4Me)] (Ni-W) was treated with methoxide ions, regioisomers (1(c)-1,3- and 2(c)-1,3-cyclopentadienyl species) of composition [(η-C5H5)Ni{μ-η22-HC2CMe2(C5H5)}W(CO)2(η-C5H4Me)] (Ni-W) were formed. Direct reaction of the pure cation [(η-C5H5Niμ-η23-HC2CMe2)W(CO)2(η-C5H4Me)]+ (Ni-W) with methoxide also generated the same 1(c)-1,3- and 2(c)-1,3-cyclopentadiene-substituted alkyne complexes. Unlike the case with the Ni-Mo complexes, the initial μ-HC2CMe2(OMe) species was not regenerated.  相似文献

The synthesis of new cyclopenta[l]phenanthrenyl complexes [(η5-C17H10Me)(η3-C3H5)Mo(CO)2] and [(η5-C17H9(COOMe)N(CH2)4)(η3-C3H5)Mo(CO)2] is described. Although these compounds are structural analogues their reactivity is different. Protonation of [(η5-C17H10Me)(η3-C3H5)Mo(CO)2] gives a stable ionic compound [(η5-C17H10Me)Mo(CO)2(NCMe)2][BF4] while its analogue containing both tertiary amino and carboxylic ester groups [(η5-C17H9(COOMe)N(CH2)4)(η3-C3H5)Mo(CO)2] decomposes under the same conditions. [(η5-C17H10Me)Mo(CO)2(NCMe)2][BF4] reacts with cyclopentadiene to give a stable η4-complex [(η4-C5H6)(η5-C17H10Me)Mo(CO)2][BF4] that was successfully oxidized to the Mo(IV) dicationic compound [(η5-C5H5)(η5-C17H10Me)Mo(CO)2][Br][BF4].  相似文献

The synthesis and characterization of two new heterotetrametallic complexes are described. Reaction of [Cr(CO)36-C6H5)CC-{(η5-C5H4)Fe(η5-C5H5)}](1) with Co2(CO)8 or Cp2Mo2(CO)4 afford the heterotetrametallic complexes [Cr(CO)36-C6H5){Co2(CO)622-CC–}(η5-C5H4)Fe(η5-C5H5)}](2), and [Cr(CO)36-C6H5){Mo2Cp2(CO)422-CC–}(η5-C5H4)Fe(η5-C5H5)](3) in 80% and 41% yield, respectively. All complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, multinuclear (1H, 13C) NMR, and by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies for 1 and 3. Structural data reveal that the coordination of dimolybdenum moiety to the alkyne unit influence the orientation of the carbonyl groups coordinated to the chromium as well as the Cp rings bound to the iron metal centre.  相似文献

[MoCl(CO)35-C5H5)] on photolysis with allyl or crotyl halides C5H4RX gives MoIV complexes [MoX2(CO)(η3-C3H4R)(η5-C5H5)] (R = H, X = Cl, Br, I; R = Me, X = Cl, Br). [WCl(CO)35-C5H5)] under similar conditions gives trihalides [WX3(CO)25-C5H5)] (X = Cl, Br) on reaction with C3H5Cl and C3H5Br while [WCl(CO)35-C5H4SiMe3)] and [CrI(CO)35-C5H5)] react with allyl chloride to give [WCl3(CO)25-C5H4SiMe3)] and [CrCl25-C5H5)] respectively.  相似文献

The preparation of a series of complexes of the types [RhCl(CO)2(L)], [RhCl(cod)(L)] and [Rh(cod)(L)2]ClO4, where L is a ligand incorporating a ferrocenyl group and a pyridine ring is described. Complexes were characterized using NMR, IR and electronic spectroscopy. The electrochemical behaviour of the complexes was examined using cyclic voltammetry. The X-ray structures of three of the complexes, [RhCl(CO)2{NC5H4CNC6H45-C5H4)Fe(η5-C5H5)}], [RhCl(cod)(3-Fcpy)] and [RhCl(cod){3-Fc(C6H4)py}], were determined.  相似文献

The nitrosylcarbonylisonitrile complexes η5-C5H5M(NO)(CO)CNR (R = Me for Cr, Mo, W; R = Et, SiMe3, GeMe3, SnMe3 for Mo) are formed by treatment of the nitrosylcarbonylcyanometalates Na[η5-C5H5M(NO)(CO)CN] with [R3O]BF4 (R = Me, Et), Me3SiCl, Me3GeCl or Me3SnCl. The isoelectronic dicarbonylisonitrile compounds η5-C5H5Mn(CO)2CNR (R = SiMe3, GeMe3, SnMe3, PPh2, AsMe2) and η5-C5H5Re(CO)2CNAsMe2 are obtained by analogous reactions of Na[η5-C5H5M(CO)2CN] (M = Mn, Re) with Me3ECl (E = Si, Ge, Sn), Ph2PCl and Me2AsBr.With phosgene the anionic complexes Na[η5-C5H5M(CO)2CN] (M = Mn, Re) can be transformed into the new carbonyldiisocyanide-bridged dinuclear complexes η5-C5H5M(CO)2CN-C(O)-NC(OC)2M-η5-C5H5. Finally, the reactions of η5-C5H5M(NO)(CO)CNMe (M = Cr, Mo, W) with NOPF6, leading to the cationic dinitrosylisonitrile complexes [η5-C5H5M(NO)2CNMe]+, are described.  相似文献

Heterometallic Cluster Complexes of the Types Re2(μ-PR2)(CO)8(HgY) and ReMo(μ-PR2)(η5-C5H5)(CO)6(HgY) (R = Ph, Cy; Y = Cl, W(η5-C5H5)(CO)3) Dinuclear complexes Re2(μ-H)(μ-PR2)(CO)8 and ReMo(μ-H)(μ-PR2)(η5-C5H5)(CO)6 (R = phenyl, cyclohexyl) were deprotonated and reacted as anions with HgCl2 to compounds of the both types Re2(μ-PR2)(CO)8HgCl) and ReMo(μ-PR2)(η5-C5H5)(CO)6(HgCl). The heterometallic three-membered cluster complexes correspond to an isolobal exchange of a proton against a cationic HgCl+ group. For one of the products ReMo(μ-PCy2)(η5-C5H5)(CO)6(HgCl) has been shown its conversion with NaW(η5-C5H5)(CO)3 to ReMo(μ-PCy2)(η5-C5H5)(HgW(η5-C5H5)(CO)3) under substitution of the chloro ligand, par example. The newly prepared compounds were characterized by means of IR, UV/VIS and 31P NMR data. A complete determination of the molecular structure by single crystal analyses was done in the case of Re2(μ-PCy2)(CO)8(HgCl) and of ReMo(μ-PCy2)(η5-C5H5)(CO)6(HgCl) which both are dimer because of the presence of an asymmetric dichloro bridge, and of ReMo(μ-PCy2)(η5-C5H5)(CO)6(HgW(η5-C5H5)(CO)3). The structural study illustrates through comparison the influence of various metal types on an interaction between centric and edge-bridged frontier orbitals in three-membered metal rings.  相似文献

The phosphorus ylids Ph3PCHR (R = Me, Et, Prn, Pri, Bun, Cl, and OMe), and the ylids Ph3AsCH2, Me2SCH2, and Me2S(O)CH2 react with [Ni(η5-C5H5)Br(PPh3)] at room temperature to give the complexes [Ni(Ph3PCHR)(η5-C5H5(PPh3)] Br, [Ni(Ph3AsCH2)(η5-C5H5)(PPh3)]Br, [Ni(Me2SCH2)(η5-C5H5)(PPh3)]Br and [Ni{Me2S(O)CH2} (η5-C5H5)(PPh3)]Br, respectively. These are readily converted into the corresponding hexafluorophosphate salts on reaction with ammonium hexafluorophosphate. Under more forcing conditions the stabilised ylid Ph3PCHCOPh gives a product believed to be the complex [Ni(Ph3PCHCOPh)25-C5H5)]Br, isolated and characterised as its PF6? salt.  相似文献

Microcalorimetric measurements at elevated temperatures of the heats of thermal decomposition and iodination have led to values of the standard enthalpies of formation of the following crystalline compounds (values given in kJ mol?1) at 298K: [Cr(η6-1,3,5-C6H3(CH3)3)2] = (63±12); [Cr(η6-C6(CH3)6)2] : -(88±12); [Cr(1,2,3,4,4a,8a-η-C10H8)2] = (407±11); [Cr(CO)3(1,2,3,4,4a,8a-η-C10H8)] = -(258±8). Separate measurements by the vacuum sublimation microcalorimetric technique gave the following values for the enthalpy of sublimation at 298K (kJ mol?1) : [Cr(η6-1,3,5-C6H3(CH3)3)2] = (104±1); [Cr(η6-C6(CH3)6)2] = (119±4); [Cr(CO)3(1,2,3,4,4a,8a-η-C10H8)] = (107±3). From these and other data, the bond enthalpy contributions of the metal-ligand bonds in the gaseous metal complexes were evaluated as follows: [(η6-C6(CH3)6)-Cr] (155±7); [(η6-C6H3(CH3)3)-Cr] (151±6); [(1,2,3,4,4a, 8a-η-C10H8)-Cr](145±6) kJ mol?1]The question of the transferability of the enthalpy contributions of chromium—ligand bonds between organochronium complexes is discussed with aid of information from structural and spectroscopic investigation. The limitations of the procedure are defined.The thermodynamic data are used to discuss various substitution, redistribution and exchange reaction of Cr(η-arene)2 and [Cr(CO)3(η-arene)] compounds.  相似文献

Linear trimetallic MPPtIIL2M complexes (M = Cr(CO)3(η-C5H5), Mo(CO)3- (η-C5H5), W(CO)3(η-C5-H5), Mn(CO)5, Fe(CO)3NO, Co(CO)4; L = t-BuNC, cyclo- C0H11 NC) are reduced on platinum and gold electrodes in non-aqueous medium. All these complexes undergo irreversible one electron reductions, which result in the rupture of one Ptmetal bond and the liberation of one M? ion per mole reduced. Coupled ESR spectroscopy and coulometry show that a radical is generated during the reduction of the trimetallic complexes. The several ESR signals obtained for these paramagnetic Pt1 species exhibit no hyperfine structure.The electrochemical behaviour of MPtL2M complexes is compared with that of the following linear trimetallic complexes: MHgM and (MAuM)?.  相似文献

The complex trans-[RuPy4(CN)2] cleaves chloride bridges in the binuclear rhodium(i) and palladium(ii) complexes [Rh(CO)2Cl]2, [Rh(η4-C8H12)Cl]2, [(η4-C8H12)Rh(μ-Cl)2Rh(CO)2], [Pd(η3-C3H5)Cl]2, and [(η3-C3H5)Pd(μ-Cl)2Rh(CO)2] to form heterometallic triad complexes [(CO)2ClRh(NC)RuPy4(CN)RhCl(CO)2] (1), [(η4-C8H12)ClRh(NC)RuPy4(CN)RhCl-(η4-C8H12)] (2), [(CO)2ClRh(NC)RuPy4(CN)RhCl(η4-C8H12)] (3), [(η3-C3H5)ClPd(NC)-Ru(Py)4(CN)PdCl(η3-C3H5)] (4), and [(CO)2ClRh(NC)Ru(Py)4(CN)PdCl(η3-C3H5)] (5), respectively. In solutions, complex 3 coexists with equilibrium amounts of compounds 1 and 2; complex 5 is in the equilibrium with compounds 4 and 1. In both cases, the ratio of concentrations is close to binomial. Complexes 2 and 5 treated with [Rh(CO)2Cl]2 are converted into 1 with the simultaneous formation of [Rh(η4-C8H12)Cl]2 and [Pd(η3-C3H5)Cl]2, respectively. The δH and δC values for the ligands η4-C8H12, η3-C3H5, and CO are sensitive to the nature of the remote triad unit. The ligand effects are shown to be transmitted along the chain L′-M′-(NC)-Ru-(CN)-M″-L″.  相似文献

Chloride abstraction from the complexes [(η6-p-cymene){(IDipp)P}MCl] ( 2 a , M=Ru; 2 b , M=Os) and [(η5-C5Me5){(IDipp)P}IrCl] ( 3 b , IDipp=1,3-bis(2,6-diisopropylphenyl)imidazolin-2-ylidene) with sodium tetrakis[3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]borate (NaBArF) in the presence of trimethylphosphine (PMe3), 1,3,4,5-tetramethylimidazolin-2-ylidene (MeIMe) or carbon monoxide (CO) afforded the complexes [(η6-p-cymene){(IDipp)P}M(PMe3)]BArF] ( 4 a , M=Ru; 4 b , M=Os), [(η6-p-cymene){(IDipp)P}Os(MeIMe)]BArF] ( 5 ) and [(η5-C5Me5){(IDipp)P}IrL][BArF] ( 6 , L=PMe3; 7 , L=MeIMe; 8 , L=CO). These cationic N-heterocyclic carbene-phosphinidene complexes feature very similar structural and spectroscopic properties as prototypic nucleophilic arylphosphinidene complexes such as low-field 31P NMR resonances and short metal-phosphorus double bonds. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations reveal that the metal-phosphorus bond can be described in terms of an interaction between a triplet [(IDipp)P]+ cation and a triplet metal complex fragment ligand with highly covalent σ- and π-contributions. Crystals of the C−H activated complex 9 were isolated from solutions containing the PMe3 complex, and its formation can be rationalized by PMe3 dissociation and formation of a putative 16-electron intermediate [(η5-C5Me5)Ir{P(IDipp)}I][BArF], which undergoes C−H activation at one of the Dipp isopropyl groups and addition along the iridium-phosphorus bond to afford an unusual η3-benzyl coordination mode.  相似文献

The crystal structures of (η5-C5H5)W(CO)31-N-maleimidato) and (η5-C5H5)Fe(CO)21-N-maleimidato) complexes were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The molecular geometries of both structures are compared with those of the Mo analog of the W complex and ethyl-N-maleimide in order to find a relation between the geometrical features and the rate constants of the addition reaction of the sulfhydryl group of biomolecules to the ethylenic bond of the maleimidato fragment. For a deeper insight into the problem DFT calculation were performed. An analysis of atomic charges, using the CHELPG scheme, and of theoretical electron density function, using the AIM theory, was performed. In the (η5-C5H5)W(CO)31-N-maleimidato), likewise in its Mo analog, the carbonyl?carbonyl interaction was found both for experimental and calculated structures. It is probably the first approach to explain this type of intramolecular interactions acting in organometallic compounds. This interaction can play the essential role in the reaction mechanism of nucleophilic addition to the maleimidato moiety. The AIM investigations indicate also the differences in the character of bonding between the η-N-maleimidato ligand and the central metal atom.  相似文献

The intense purple colored bi- and trimetallic complexes {Ti}(CH2SiMe3)[CC(η6-C6H5)Cr(CO)3] (3) ({Ti}=(η5-C5H5)2Ti) and [Ti][CC(η6-C6H5)Cr(CO)3]2 (5) {[Ti]=(η5-C5H4SiMe3)2Ti}, in which next to a Ti(IV) center a Cr(0) atom is present, are accessible by the reaction of Li[CC(η6-C6H5)Cr(CO)3] (2) with {Ti}(CH2SiMe3)Cl (1) or [Ti]Cl2 (4) in a 1:1 or 2:1 molar ratio. The chemical and electrochemical properties of 3, 5, {Ti}(CH2SiMe3)(CCFc) [Fc=(η5-C5H5)Fe(η5-C5H4)] and [Ti][(CC)nMc][(CC)mM′c] [n, m=1, 2; n=m; nm; Mc=(η5-C5H5)Fe(η5-C5H4); M′c=(η5-C5H5)Ru(η5-C5H4); Mc=M′c; Mc≠M′c] will be comparatively discussed.  相似文献
