A systematic investigation of the reactions of Cu(ClO4)2 · 6H2O with maleamic acid (H2L) in the presence of 2,2′-bipyridine (bpy) has been carried out. The chemical and structural identity of the products depends on the solvent, the absence or presence of external hydroxides in the reaction mixture and the molar ratio of the reactants. Various reaction schemes have led to the isolation of the complexes [Cu2(HL)2(bpy)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2 (1), [Cu2(HL)2(bpy)2(H2O)2](ClO4)2 · 2H2O (1 · 2H2O), [Cu(L′′)(bpy)]n · 2nH2O (2 · 2nH2O), [Cu2(L′′)(bpy)2(H2O)2]n(ClO4)2n · 0.5nH2O (3 · 0.5nH2O), [Cu2(L′′)2(bpy)2] · 2MeOH (5 · 2MeOH), [Cu2(L′)2(bpy)2(ClO4)2] (6) and [Cu(ClO4)2(bpy)(MeCN)2] (7b), where L′′2? and L′? are the maleate(?2) and monomethyl maleate(?1) ligands, respectively. The HL? ion has been transformed to L′′2? and L′? in the known compounds 2 · 2nH2O and 6, respectively, via metal ion-assisted processes involving hydrolysis (2 · 2nH2O) and methanolysis (6) of the primary amide group. The reaction that leads to 6 takes place through the formation of the mononuclear complex [Cu(ClO4)2(bpy)(MeOH)2] (7a), whose structure was assigned on the basis of its spectral similarity with the structurally characterized complex 7b. The structures of the cations in 1 and 1 · 2H2O consists of two CuII atoms bridged by the carboxylate groups of the two HL? ligands, each exhibiting the less common η2 coordination mode; a chelating bpy molecule and a H2O ligand complete square pyramidal coordination at each metal centre. The structure of the dinuclear repeating unit in the 1D coordination polymer 3 · 0.5nH2O consists of two CuII atoms bridged by two syn,syn η1:η1:μ2 carboxylate groups belonging to two L′′2? ions; each ligand bridged two neighboring [CuII,II2] units thus promoting the formation of a helical chain. The structure of the dinuclear molecule of complex 5 · 2MeOH consists of two CuII atoms bridged by two η2 carboxylate groups from two L′′2? ligands; the second carboxylate group of each maleate(?2) ligand is monodentately coordinated to CuII, creating a remarkable seven-membered chelating ring. The L′? ion behaves as a carboxylate-type ligand in 6, with the carboxylate group being in the familiar syn,syn η1:η1:μ2 coordination mode; a chelating bpy molecule and a coordinated ClO4? complete five-coordination at each CuII centre. The crystal structures of the complexes are stabilized by various H-bonding patterns. Characteristic IR bands of the complexes are discussed in terms of the known structures and the coordination modes of the ligands.  相似文献

Three new heterometallic 1D coordination polymers [FeIII2Pr(4-Me-sal)4(2,2′-bipy)2(H2O)6](NO3) · 2MeOH · 1.5H2O (1), [FeIII2Gd(4-Me-sal)4(2,2′-bipy)2(H2O)5]Cl1/2(NO3)1/2 · 5H2O (2) and [FeIII2Dy(4-Me-sal)4(2,2′-bipy)2(H2O)5]Cl1/2(NO3)1/2 · 5H2O (3) have been synthesized. 1 and 2 were characterized by single-crystal X-ray crystallography, and 3 was shown to be isomorphous to 2 by X-ray powder diffraction. Magnetic studies show that the three compounds show a similar temperature dependence of their magnetic susceptibilities over the range 1.8–300 K. The observed decrease of χT with decreasing temperature for all three compounds could be the result of antiferromagnetic interactions between Fe–Ln centres and/or the depopulation of the Stark sublevels in the case of the anisotropic Ln ions (PrIII and DyIII).  相似文献

Iron mixed-valence complex, (n-C3H7)4N[FeIIFeIII(dto)3] (dto = C2O2S2) shows a new-type of phase transition coupled with spin and charge around 120 K, where the charge transfer between the FeII and FeIII sites occurs reversibly, and shows the ferromagnetic transition at 7 K. To investigate the magnetic structure and its dimensionality of (n-C3H7)4N[FeIIFeIII(dto)3], we have synthesized a mixed crystal system, (n-C3H7)4N[FeII1?xZnIIxFeIII(dto)3], and measured its magnetic properties. In this system, the magnetic moment is reduced with increasing of Zn ratio. Moreover, the ferromagnetic interaction changes to the antiferromagnetic one and the remnant magnetization disappears between x = 0.48 and 0.96, while the charge transfer between the FeII and FeIII sites disappears above x = 0.26. In this paper, we present the magnetic dilution effect on the charge transfer phase transition and the ferromagnetic transition by means of magnetic susceptibility measurement and 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy.  相似文献

Changes in the nature of spin crossover caused by mechanical stressing exerted on the crystalline powders were studied for FeII(phen)2(NCS)2 (phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) and FeII[HB(pz)3]2 (pz = pyrazol-1-yl) by means of a multi-component fitting of the temperature dependence of magnetic susceptibility. The analysis revealed the development and broadening of the ligand field distribution as a consequence of mechanical stressing. This was confirmed by the broadening of Mössbauer and far-infrared spectra.  相似文献

A new complex of [Ni3(dcp)2(H2O)10] (1) (H3dcp = 3,5-pyrazoledicarboxylic acid) has been synthesized from H3dcp and Ni(NO3)2·6H2O by hydrothermal reaction. Complex 1 has the discrete trinuclear structure. Three Ni(II) ions are bridged by two dcp3− ligands, with 10 coordinated water molecules as terminal ligands. The molecules of [Ni3(dcp)2(H2O)10] extend into three-dimensional supramolecular architectures by intermolecular O–H···O hydrogen bonds as well as π-π stacking interactions. Magnetic susceptibility measurement shows that a weak antiferromagnetic interaction is operative between nickel(II) ions and an excellent simulation of the experimental data gives D = 5.27 cm−1, J = −2.19 cm−1 and g = 2.05.  相似文献

An iron(II) complex with nitronyl nitroxides, [FeII(dppNN)2](BF4)2 · CH3COCH3 (1) (dppNN = 2,6-di(pyrazol-1-yl)-4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1-oxido-3-ylooxy-4,5-dihydro-3H-imidazol-2′-yl)pyridine) was synthesized. In 1 the central iron(II) ion was coordinated by two tridentate ligands with nitronyl nitroxides. Magnetic susceptibility measurements showed that χmT values below 130 K was almost temperature independent, while upon increasing temperature χmT values showed gradual increase, suggesting an occurrence of a spin transition from low to high spin state. Green light irradiation on powder sample at 5 K resulted in spin conversion (LIESST).  相似文献

Syntheses of three benzaldazine compounds 13 with the general formula Ar1(CH = N–N = HC)Ar2 (Ar1 = Ar2 = 2-OH-3,5-tBu2C6H2 (1), Ar1 = Ar2 = 2-BrC6H4 (2), Ar1 = ortho-C6H4(NHC6H3-Me2-2,6), Ar2 = C6H4F-2 (3)) are described. All compounds were characterized by elemental analysis, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, IR spectroscopy and single-crystal X-ray crystallography. The different supramolecular structures were obtained through different weak interactions (C ? H···O, O ? H···N and π···π interactions for 1; C ? H···Br and Br···Br interactions for 2; C ? H···F and C ? H···N interactions for 3). Compound 1 shows solvent-dependent fluorescent properties with blue to green emission on the increasing of the solvent polarity. Compounds 2, 3 show blue photoluminescence in different solvents.  相似文献

The hydrothermal syntheses and structures of two new open-framework iron phosphates, [C5N2H14]2[FeIII2F2(HPO4)4]·2H2O, I, and [C5N2H14][FeIII4(H2O)4F2(PO4)4], II, are presented. While the structure of I consist of FeO4F2 octahedra and HPO4 terahedra linked to form one-dimensional structure, that of II consist of FeO4(H2O)2, FeO4(H2O)F, FeO4F2 and PO4 units connected to give rise to a three-dimensional structure. The structure of I resembles the naturally occurring mineral tancoite while II resembles the iron phosphate, ULM-12, [C6N2H14][Fe4(PO4)2F2(H2O)3]. Magnetic susceptibility studies indicate anti-ferromagnetic behavior in both the compounds with TN=200 and 175 K for I and II, respectively. A novel unsymmetrically disubstituted propanedithiolate compound [Fe2(CO)42-dmpe)(μ-pdt)] (1) (pdt = SCH2CH2CH2S, dmpe = Me2PCH2CH2PMe2) was synthesized by treatment of [Fe2(CO)6(μ-pdt)] with dmpe in refluxing THF. Compound 1 was characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. Protonation of 1 with HBF4·Et2O in CH2Cl2 gave at room temperature the μ-hydrido derivative [Fe2(CO)42-dmpe)(μ-pdt)(μ-H)](BF4)] (2). At low temperature, 1H and 31P–{1H} NMR monitoring revealed the formation of a terminal hydride intermediate 3. Comparison of these results with those of a VT NMR study of the protonation of symmetrical compounds [Fe2(CO)4L2(μ-pdt)] [L = PMe3, P(OMe)3] suggests that in disubstituted bimetallic complexes [Fe2(CO)4L2(μ-pdt)], dissymmetry of the complex is required to observe terminal hydride species. Attempts to extend the series of chelate compounds [Fe2(CO)42-L2)(μ-pdt)] by using arphos (arphos = Ph2AsCH2CH2PPh2) were unsuccessful. Only mono- and disubstituted derivatives [Fe2(CO)6−n(Ph2AsCH2CH2PPh2)n(μ-pdt)] (n = 1, 4a; n = 2, 4b), featuring dangling arphos, were isolated under the same reaction conditions of formation of 1. By employing different organic amines as structure-directing agents, two new distinct 3D porous inorganic frameworks based on molybdenum(V) phosphates and MnII, (H2en)2{[Mn(H2O)]2[MnMo12O24(OH)6(H2PO4)2(HPO4)4(PO4)2]}·7H2O (en = ethylenediamine) (1) and (H3dien)2{[Mn(H3O)2][Mn3Mo12O24(OH)6(HPO4)2(PO4)6]}·5H2O (dien = diethylenetriamine) (2), have been hydrothermally synthesized, and characterized by routine physical methods. In compound 1, MnII all adopt octahedral coordination mode and each sandwich cluster Mn[Mo6P4O31]2 (abbreviated as Mn[Mo6P4]2) acts as an octa-dentate ligand linking eight MnII, which result in a 3D inorganic (4, 8)-connected framework with the (46)(410·612·86) topology. Compound 2 shows a 3D (4, 10)-connected framework with the (31·44·61)(34·49·57·617·74·84) topology, in which MnII ions exhibit both tetrahedral and octahedral coordination modes, and each Mn[Mo6P4]2 links ten MnII. Interestingly, there exist channels along the a and b axes in 1, while along the a and c axes in 2. The differences between the two compounds should be ascribed to the distinctions of the organic amines. Primary de-/rehydration behaviors and electrochemistry properties have also been studied for the two compounds.  相似文献

We investigated electron spin densities of pyrazolato-bridged complexes [Cu(pz)2]n (1) and [Cu2(pz)2(NO3)(H2O)(phen)2]NO3 (2) (Hpz = pyrazole, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline) using solid-state high-resolution NMR to elucidate the magnetic interaction paths with the help of molecular orbital theory. We prepared deuterated analogue of these complexes, 1-d6 and 2-d6, to measure temperature dependence of 2H and 13C NMR shifts between 190 and 350 K. The hyperfine coupling constants (HFCCs) and electron spin densities were determined from the slopes of the shifts as a function of the magnetic susceptibilities. The derived spin densities were all positive, which indicates the dominant magnetic interaction paths of these complexes are not π but σ orbitals of the pyrazolate ligand. The NMR results reasonably agreed with those of density functional theory (DFT) calculations for molecular models of 1 and 2.  相似文献

We report single crystal high-frequency electron paramagnetic resonance studies of two recently discovered half-integer Fe7 complexes: [Fe7O3(O2CBut)9(mda)3(H2O)3] (1) and [Fe7O4(O2CPh)11(dmem)2] (2). The obtained spectra confirm spin S = 5/2 ground states for both complexes. On the basis of detailed frequency and field orientation dependent studies, we find that complex 1 is a single-molecule magnet (uniaxial zero-field-splitting parameter, D < 0) while complex 2 is not (D > 0). The EPR linewidth for complex 1 is considerably narrower in comparison to spectra obtained for other single-molecule magnets, suggesting the possibility of reduced decoherence from nuclear spins (56Fe has no nuclear moment).  相似文献

A new novel 2D network bimetallic FeIIAuI spin crossover coordination compound based on 3-bromo-4-picoline and bridged cyano ligands, {FeII(3-bromo-4-picoline)2[AuI(CN)2]2}n (1), has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses and IR, using single-crystal X-ray analysis at 293 K and at 90 K and magnetic measurements. The FeII ions in 1 have octahedral FeN6 coordination geometries, which are linked by a [AuI(CN)2]? unit at the equatorial plane to form a polymeric 2D sheet architecture. The two pyridine rings coordinate at the axial positions. The structure of 1 comprises parallel 2D arrays and the layers interact by pairs, defining bilayers with strong binuclear aurophilic Au?Au interactions. Furthermore, intermolecular Au?Br and Br?Br distances in 1 are significantly smaller than the sums of the van der Waals radii. Variable-temperature (2–300 K) magnetic susceptibility measurements of 1 have been performed to determine behaviors of spin transition. The susceptibility data of 1 indicates that about 50% of the HS states are changed to LS states at 75 K. The Fe–N bond distances at 90 K show that ratio of high spin states agree with the SQUID data.  相似文献

Copolymers of norbornene (NBE) with norbornadiene (NBD) were obtained via ROMP with [RuCl2(PPh3)2(L)] type complexes as initiators (1 for L = piperidine and 2 for L = 3,5-Me2piperidine). The reactions were performed using a fixed quantity of NBE (5000 equivalents/[Ru]) for different concentrations of NBD (500, 1000, 1500 and 2000 equivalents/[Ru]) in CHCl3, initiated with ethyl diazoacetate at room temperature. The presence of NBD in the NBE chains was characterized by 1H and 13C NMR. Whereas the copolymer microstructure was influenced neither by the NBD quantity nor by the initiator type, the Mn and PDI values were improved when increasing the NBD quantity in the medium. When raising the NBD amount, DMA results indicated increased cross-linking with increasing Tg and E′ storage modulus, as well as the fact that SEM micrographs indicated decreased pore sizes in the porous isolated copolymers.  相似文献

A 2-D cyanide- and triamine-bridged MnIICrIII ferrimagnet, [Mn3(dien)2(H2O)2][Cr(CN)6]2 · 4H2O (1), has been prepared by the combination of Mn2+, diethylenetriamine (dien) co-ligand and [Cr(CN)6]3−. This compound forms a unique 2-D hollow sheet structure constructed by 1-D ribbon networks on the basis of triamine (dien)-bridged trinuclear MnII units. Compound 1 readily looses all lattice water molecules and irreversibly changes to a dehydrated form, [Mn3(dien)2(H2O)2][Cr(CN)6]2 (1a), in the air. Cryomagnetic studies of 1 and 1a reveal an antiferromagnetic interaction between CrIII and MnII ions, and an unusual long-range ferrimagnetic ordering below 30 K (1) and 40 K (1a) with multiple magnetic phase changes below TC. MCD spectra of 1a show a strong Faraday ellipticity associated with the LMCT band of the Cr–CN below 300 nm. Faraday ellipticity is remarkably enhanced below TC in line with the characteristics long-range ferrimagnetic ordering.  相似文献

In the case of iron mixed-valence complexes whose spin states are situated in the spin-crossover region, conjugated phenomena coupled with spin and charge are expected. In general, the Fe site coordinated by six S atoms is in the low-spin state, while the Fe site coordinated by six O atoms is in the high-spin state. From this viewpoint, we have synthesized and investigated physical properties for an monothiooxalato-bridged (mto = C2O3S) iron mixed-valence complex, (n-C4H9)4N[FeIIFeIII(mto)3], consisting of FeIIIO3S3 and FeIIO6 octahedra, which behaves as a ferrimagnet with its magnetic transition temperature of TN = 38 K and Weiss temperature of θ = ?93 K. From the analysis of 57Fe Mössbauer spectra of 57Fe enriched complexes, (n-C4H9)4N[57FeIIFeIII(mto)3] and (n-C4H9)4N[FeII57FeIII(mto)3], the charge transfer between FeII and FeIII exists in the paramagnetic phase. Considering the time window of 57Fe Mössbauer spectroscopy, the time scale of the valence fluctuation is at least slower than 10?7 s. In order to confirm the valence fluctuation between FeII and FeIII, we investigated the dielectric constant and found an anomalous enhancement attributed to the Fe valence fluctuation between 170 and 250 K.  相似文献

N-Thioamide thiosemicarbazone derived of 2-chloro-4-hydroxy-benzaldehyde (R = H, HL1; R = Me, HL2 and R = Ph, HL3) have been prepared and their reaction with fac-[ReX(CO)3(CH3CN)2] (X = Br, Cl) in chloroform gave the adducts [ReX(CO)3(HL)] (1a X = Cl, R = H; 1a′ X = Br, R = H; 1b X = Cl, R = CH3; 1b′ X = Br, R = CH3; 1c X = Cl, R = Ph; 1c′ X = Br, R = Ph) in good yield. Complexes 1a′ and 1b’ were also obtained by the reaction of HL1 and HL3 with [ReBr(CO)5] in toluene.All the compounds have been characterized by elemental analysis, mass spectrometry (FAB), IR and 1H NMR spectroscopic methods. Moreover, the structures of HL2, HL3 and 1a·H2O were also established by X-ray diffraction. In 1a, the rhenium atom is coordinated by the sulphur and the azomethine nitrogen atoms, forming a five-membered chelate ring, as well as three carbonyl carbon and chloride atoms. The resulting coordination polyhedron can be described as a distorted octahedron.The study of the crystals obtained by slow evaporation of methanol and DMSO solutions of the adducts 1a′ and 1b, respectively, showed the formation of dimer structures based on rhenium(I) thiosemicarbazonates [Re2(L1)2(CO)6]·3H2O (2a)·3H2O and [Re2(L2)2(CO)6]·(CH3)2SO (2b)·2(CH3)2SO. Amounts of these thiosemicarbazonate complexes [Re2(L)2(CO)6] (2) were obtained by reaction of the corresponding free ligands with [ReCl(CO)5] in dry toluene.In 2a·3H2O and 2b·2(CH3)2SO the dimer structures are established by Re–S–Re bridges, where S is the thiolate sulphur from a N,S-bidentate thiosemicarbazonate ligand. In both structures the rhenium coordination sphere is similar; the dimers are in the same diamond Re2S2 face.  相似文献

The radical initiated reactions of Ru3(CO)12 with pyrazolyl substituted diphosphazanes Ph2PN(R)PPh(N2C3HMe2-3,5) [R = (S)-*CHMePh (1) or CHMe2 (2)] proceed via P–N(pyrazole) bond rupture resulting in the formation of phosphido clusters, [Ru3(CO)5sb-CO)23-N,N′-η111-N2C3HMe2-3,5){μ-P,P′-Ph2PN(R)PPh}] [R = (S)-*CHMePh (3) or CHMe2 (4)]. The pyrazolate moiety adopts an unusual triply bridging μ3111-mode of coordination in these clusters.  相似文献
