The voltammetric method of Cr(VI) determination in a flow system is proposed. Determinations can be carried out in the simultaneous presence of an excess of Cr(III), complexing agents, humic substances and surfactants. The method is based on the combination of a selective accumulation of the product of Cr(VI) reduction to the metallic state and a very sensitive voltammetric method of chromium determination in the presence of DTPA and nitrates. The calibration graph is linear from 1×10?9 to 5×10?8 mol L?1 for accumulation time of 30 s. The relative standard deviation is 5.2% (n=5) for Cr(VI) concentration 1×10?8 mol L?1. The influence of humic and fulvic acids, complexing agents and surfactants on Cr(VI) and the interfering Cr(III) signal is presented. The method was applied to Cr(VI) determination in certified reference material, soil sample, natural water sample and EDTA extracts from soil certified reference material.  相似文献

An adsorptive stripping voltammetric method for speciation analysis of chromium in natural water samples has been developed. Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA) and diethylenetriaminepentaacetic acid (DTPA) were used as complexing agents for Cr(III) present in the sample and formed as products of Cr(VI) reduction, respectively. Under optimum experimental conditions linear relations in the range from 1×10?6 to 3×10?5 mol L?1 without accumulation and from 1×10?9 to 1×10?7 at 30 s accumulation time were obtained for Cr(III) and Cr(VI), respectively. For samples in which Cr(III) concentration is higher than 1×10?6 mol L?1 the Cr(III) and Cr(VI) were determined simultaneously in one voltammetric cell. For samples in which Cr(III) concentration is below 1×10?6 mol L?1 only Cr(VI) was selectively determined in the presence of Cr(III), which did not influence the Cr(VI) signal. The determination of Cr(III) and Cr(VI) was successful with the application of the proposed procedure in the presence of common foreign ions. The presented method was applied for the speciation of chromium in spiked tap and river water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

A new sensitive chemiluminescence (CL) method combined with continuous flow injection analysis is described for the determination of Cr(VI). Strong CL signals were generated by Cr(VI)-catalysed oxidation of gallic acid in the presence of potassium permanganate and hydrogen peroxide. Effects of reagent concentrations, temperature, pH, flow rates, mixing coil length and mixing flow sequences on the chemiluminescence intensity were studied. Under the optimised experimental conditions, the relationship between the logarithm of concentration (log?C) of Cr(VI) and the logarithm of intensity (log?I) is linear over the range of 2?×?10?11 – 5?×?10?4?mol?L?1, with the detection limit (3σ) of 4?×?10?12?mol?L?1. Relative standard deviation of ten measurements of 1?×?10?9?mol?L?1 Cr(VI) is 1.7%. This flow injection analysis (FIA) system proved to be able to analyse up to 40 samples h?1. Effects of various interferences possibly present in the water samples were investigated. Most cations and anions, as well as organic compounds, did not interfere with the determination of Cr(VI) in water samples. The experimental results obtained for chromium in reference materials were also in good agreement with the certified values.  相似文献

Abstract

A simple fluorimetric determination of Cr(VI) in the presence of Cr(III) is described. This determination is based on the fluorescence, produced from the ion-association complex between the Crystal violet cation and the anionic complex, formed between Cr(VI) and excess of I?. This fluorescence is not observed when Cr(III) is used instead of Cr(VI). The fluorescence intensity is linear over the concentration range of 0–60 μg/1. The method was applied in potable and sea waters.  相似文献

A dichromate‐selective PVC‐membrane electrode based on Quinaldine Red (an acridinium derivative) is described. The electrode exhibits rapid (< 30 s) and linear response to the activity of Cr(VI) anions in the range of 5.2 × 10?6 ?1.0 × 10?1 M dichromate with the limit of detection 2.5 × 10?6 Mof Cr2O72?. The sensor is used as an indicator electrode in potentiometric determination of Cr(VI) anions and is also suitable for end‐point indication in the titrations of proper metal ions with dichromate under laboratory conditions. The proposed electrode has been applied to the direct potentiometric determination of Cr(VI) anions in water samples with satisfactory results.  相似文献

The determination of Mo(VI) by differential-pulse voltammetry based on catalytic currents in nitrate medium is described. The existence of catalytic currents in the system Mo(VI)NO3? in the presence of 8-hydroxyquinoline was proved by various polarographic techniques. The optimum background electrolyte is 20 ml 0.5 M KNO3?0.005 M HNO3 with the addition of 1 ml of 1 × 10?2 M 8-hydroxyquinoline. The detection limit is 7 × 10?10 M under these conditions. Cr(VI), Cu(II), Cd(II) and Pb(II) interfere when present at higher concentrations then Mo(VI) and W(VI) interferes at an equal concentration to Mo(VI). The method was successfully used in analyses of environmental samples.  相似文献

A sensitive catalytic adsorptive stripping voltammetric procedure for determination of traces of total chromium in environmental samples is reported. The method is based on the preconcentration of a Cr(III)? H2DTPA complex by adsorption at the HMDE from an acetate buffer solution at the potential ?1.0 V vs. Ag/AgCl. Total chromium was determined as Cr(III) after reduction of Cr(VI) to Cr(III) by NaHSO3. In order to stabilize the signal of Cr(III) the measurements were performed at 5 °C. The calibration graph for chromium for an accumulation time of 60 s was linear in the range from 5×10?10 to 5×10?8 mol L?1. The relative standard deviation for a chromium concentration of 1×10?8 mol L?1 was 3.9% (n=5). The detection limit for accumulation time of 60 s was about 8×10?11 mol L?1. The validation of the procedure was performed by the analysis of the certified reference materials.  相似文献

In the present work, the catalytic adsorptive stripping voltammetric procedure for trace determination of Cr(VI) in the presence of a high excess of Cr(III) in natural waters with a complicated matrix has been developed. The influence from potentially interfering substances such as organic matter was successfully eliminated by exploiting adsorptive properties of polymeric resin. The detection limit estimated from 3 times the standard deviation for a low Cr(VI) concentration in the simultaneous presence of a 2×103 fold excess of Cr(III), 50 mg L?1 surfactants, 50 mg L?1 humic substances and the accumulation time of 30 s was about 5.3×10?10 mol L?1.  相似文献

A simple, rapid, sensitive, and inexpensive method for spectrophotometric determination of chromium(VI), based on the absorbance of its complex with 1,4,8,11-tetraazacyclotetradecane (cyclam) is presented. The complex showed a molar absorbtivity of 1.5?×?104?L?mol?1?cm?1 at 379?nm. Under optimum experimental conditions, a pH of 4.5 and 1.960?×?103?mg?L?1 cyclam were selected, and all measurements were performed 10?min after mixing. Major cations and anions did not show any interference; Beer's law was applicable in the concentration range 0.2–20?mg?L?1 with a detection limit of 0.001?mg?L?1. The standard deviation in the determination is ±0.5?mg?L?1 for a 15.0?mg?L?1 solution (n?=?7). The described method provides a simple and reliable means for determination of Cr(VI) in real samples.  相似文献

In the presence of traces of Cr(VI) or Cr(III) ions in ammonia or borate buffers containing the As(III) ions a catalytic hydrogen wave arises in the dc polarogram. It was established that the complex Cr(H2AsO3)n+3?n is formed in the solution, and that its reduced form adsorbed at DME is of catalytic activity. The wave can be employed for the determination of low concentrations (2×10?8×10?7M) of Cr(VI) and Cr(III) ions.  相似文献

A simple and highly selective and sensitive catalytic adsorptive stripping voltammetric procedure for determination of traces of Cr(VI) in the presence of a large excess of Cr(III) in environmental water samples is reported. To obtain a low detection limit the voltammetric procedure of chromium determination in the presence of DTPA and nitrate was exploited. For elimination of interference of Cr(III) ethylenediaminedisuccinic acid was used as a masking agent. At optimized conditions the calibration graph is linear from 2×10?10 to 2×10?8 mol L?1 for accumulation time of 30 s. The validation of the procedure was performed by comparison of the results of analysis of river water samples with those obtained using other accepted voltammetric procedure.  相似文献

Abstract

An experimental investigation is presented of the foam separation of the oxyanions of Re(VII), Mo(VI), Cr(VI), W(VI), and V(V). The pH 6.0, multicomponent aqueous solutions are 1.0 × 10 ?6 M in each metal. The effect of chloride competition with the metal oxyanions for the cationic surfactant is determined with NaCl concentrations up to 0.3 M. With proper NaCl concentration adjustments, V(V) can be separated completely from the other four metals, and Re(VII) and Mo(VI) from the other three. Pulsed surfactant dosage is investigated for 1.0 × 10 ?6 M Mo(VI) solutions at pH 6.0 and 3.1.  相似文献

Abstract

A new spectrofluorometric method was developed for determination of coenzyme II. We studied the interactions between balofloxacin–terbium(III) complex and coenzyme II by using ultraviolet–visible absorption and fluorescence spectra. While balofloxacin–terbium(III) was used as a fluorescence probe, under the optimum conditions, coenzyme II could remarkably enhance the fluorescence intensity of the balofloxacin–terbium(III) complex at λ = 545 nm, and the enhanced fluorescence intensity was in proportion to the concentration of coenzyme II. Optimum conditions for the determination of coenzyme II were also investigated. The dynamic range for the determination of coenzyme II was 6.0 × 10?8 to 6.0 × 10?6 mol L?1, and the detection limit (3σ/k) was 3.5 × 10?8 mol L?1. This method was simple, practical, and relatively free interference from coexisting substances and could be successfully applied to determination of coenzyme II in synthetic samples. The mechanism of fluorescence enhancement of balofloxacin–terbium(III) complex by coenzyme II was also discussed.  相似文献

A selective and sensitive method for determination of traces of Cr(VI) in the presence of a large excess of Cr(III) by differential pulse catalytic adsorptive stripping voltammetry is presented. For minimization of Cr(III) interference nitrilotriacetic acid was used as a masking agent. The determinations were performed in a flow system. The calibration plot was linear from 1×10−10 to 1×10−8 mol L−1 for accumulation time 60 s. The relative standard deviation for 3×10−9 mol L−1 Cr(VI) was 4.1% (n=5). The detection limit for an accumulation time of 60 s was 4×10−11 mol L−1. The influence of common foreign ions is also presented. The performance of the method was verified by analysis of certified reference material for Cr(VI) and comparing the results of analyses of natural water samples with those obtained by another accepted electrochemical method.  相似文献

Arsenazo III modified maghemite nanoparticles (A-MMNPs) was used for removing and preconcentration of U(VI) from aqueous samples. The effects of contact time, amount of adsorbent, pH and competitive ions was investigated. The experimental results were fitted to the Langmuir adsorption model in the studied concentration range of uranium (1.0 × 10?4–1.0 × 10?2 mol L?1). According to the results obtained by Langmuir equation, the maximum adsorption capacity for the adsorption of U(VI) on A-MMNPs was 285 mg g?1 at pH 7. The adsorbed uranium on the A-MMNPs was then desorbed by 0.5 mol L?1 NaOH solution and determined spectrophotometrically. A preconcentration factor of 400 was achieved in this method. The calibration graph was linear in the range 0.04–2.4 ng mL?1 (1.0 × 10?10–1.0 × 10?8 mol L?1) of U(VI) with a correlation coefficient of 0.997. The detection limit of the method for determination of U(VI) was 0.01 ng mL?1 and the relative standard deviation (R.S.D.) for the determination of 1.43 and 2.38 ng mL?1 of U(VI) was 3.62% and 1.17% (n = 5), respectively. The method was applied to the determination of U(VI) in water samples.  相似文献

Abstract

Spectrofluorimetry for the determination of prulifloxacin (PUFX) was developed based on the strong fluorescence of PUFX after adding fluorescence probe yttrium in buffer solution (pH = 6.80), and various factors of influencing fluorescence have been researched. Under the optimum conditions, the liner range was 2.0 × 10?8 to 9.1 × 10?6 mol L?1 and the detection limit was 8.5 × 10?9 mol L?1. The relative standard deviation was 2.1% for 11 measurements of 5.0 × 10?7 mol L?1 PUFX standard solution. The mechanism of the sensitizing effect of probe was discussed. The method was applied for the determination of PUFX in actual sample; the result obtained was satisfactory.  相似文献

Abstract

A study of the enhancement effect on the fluorescence intensity of the Eu3+–-thenoyltrifluoroacetone (TTA)–-cetyltri–-methylammonium bromide (CTMAB) and the Dy3+ pyrocatechol–-3,5-disulphonic acid (Tiron) systems by Y3+has been carried out. In the presence of yttrium the fluorescence intensity of the systems was enhanced by a factor of about 100 and 15, respectively. The fluorescence intensity was a linear function of the concentration of europium or dysprosium in the range 1.0 × 10?10–-1.0 × 10?8mol dm?3 and 8.0 × 10?8–-9.0 × 10?6mol dm?3, respectively. The detection limit was 1.0 × 10?11mol dm?3 and 1.0 × 10?10mol dm?3, respectively. The standard addition method was used for the determination of europium or dysprosium in rare earth oxides and gave satisfactory results. The mechanism of enhanced fluorescence was proposed.  相似文献

Abstract

A flow injection system for the fluorescence determination of low level of ascorbic acid is proposed. The method is based on the rapid oxidation of ascorbic acid by thallium(I). The fluorescence signal at 419 nm is proportional to the amount of ascorbic acid in the range of (1.4–28.0) × 10?7 mole. The relative standard deviations for ten replicate measurements of 1.4 × 10?6 mole of ascorbic acid was 1.3%. The sample rate of 45 ± 5 sample per hour was achieved. The usefulness of the method was tested in the determination of ascorbic acid in fruit juices and vitamin C tablets.  相似文献

Abstract

It was found that the fluorescence intensity of lanthanum (III) (La3+)‐quercetin (Qu) complex is greatly enhanced by proteins in the presence of sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate (SDBS). Based on this finding, a new fluorimetric method for the determination of proteins was developed. Under optimum conditions, the enhanced intensity of fluorescence is in proportion to the concentration of proteins in the range of 2.5×10?8 to 1.0×10?5 g/mL for bovine serum albumin (BSA), 5.0×10?8 to 1.5×10?5 g/mL for human serum albumin (HSA), and 1.0×10?7 to 1.5×10?5 g/mL for egg albumin (EA). Their detection limits (S/N=3) are 5.0×10?9 g/mL, 7.0×10?9 g/mL, and 2.1×10?8 g/mL, respectively. The interaction mechanism was also studied.  相似文献

Abstract

A new spectrofluorimetric method was developed for the determination of trace amounts of lecithin. Using enoxacine (ENX)‐terbium ion (Tb3+) as a fluorescent probe, in a buffer solution at pH=5.80, lecithin can remarkably reduce the fluorescence intensity of the ENX‐Tb3+ complex at λ=545 nm; the reduced fluorescence intensity of the Tb3+ ion is proportional to the concentration of lecithin. Optimum conditions for the determination of lecithin were also investigated. The linear range and detection limit for the determination of lecithin were 1.96×10?7–9.8×10?6 mol l?1 and 9.74×10?8 mol l?1. This method is simple, practical and relatively free of interference from coexisting substances, and can be successfully applied to assess lecithin in serum samples.  相似文献
