Cyclic mobility is exhibited by saturated medium to dense cohesionless soils during liquefaction, due to soil skeleton dilation at large shear strain excursions. This volume-shear coupling mechanism results in phases of significant regain in soil shear stiffness and strength, and limits the magnitude of cyclic shear deformations. Motivated by experimental observations, a plasticity model is developed for capturing the characteristics of cyclic mobility. This model extends an existing multi-surface plasticity formulation with newly developed flow and hardening rules. The new flow rule allows for reproducing cyclic shear strain accumulation, and the subsequent dilative phases observed in liquefied soil response. The new hardening rule enhances numerical robustness and efficiency. A model calibration procedure is outlined, based on monotonic and cyclic laboratory sample test data.  相似文献

本文对316L不锈钢进行了单轴与多轴非比例路径下的应力控制棘轮试验,考察了应力幅值、平均应力和加载历程对棘轮特性的影响。同时进行了应变控制循环试验以研究材料的应力松弛特性。试验结果表明轴向棘轮效应在对称剪切荷载下效果明显,同时棘轮应变随应力幅值和平均应力的增加而增加。研究了Chen-Jiao随动强化模型与Jiang-Sehitoglu随动强化模型采用的单轴与多轴参数对背应力分量增量方向的影响,将Chen-Jiao模型中的多轴系数替换为界面饱和率,并在此基础上引入新的参数对塑性模量系数进行修正,计算结果表明修正后的模型能提升应力控制下多轴棘轮的预测精度,并能很好的预测应力松弛现象,表明了新模型的正确性与有效性。  相似文献

An earlier paper by the authors evaluated the performance of several coupled models in simulating a series of uniaxial and biaxial ratcheting responses. This paper evaluates the performance of various kinematic hardening rules in an uncoupled model for the same set of ratcheting responses. A modified version of the Dafalias–Popov uncoupled model has been demonstrated to perform well for uniaxial ratcheting simulation. However, its performance in multiaxial ratcheting simulation is significantly influenced by the kinematic hardening rules employed in the model. Performances of eight different kinematic hardening rules, when engaged with the modified Dafalias–Popov model, are evaluated against a series of rate-independent multiaxial ratcheting responses of cyclically stabilized carbon steels. The kinematic hardening rules proposed by Armstrong–Frederick, Voyiadjis–Sivakumar, Phillips, Tseng–Lee, Kaneko, Xia–Ellyin, Chaboche and Ohno–Wang are examined. The Armstrong–Frederick rule performs reasonably for one type of the biaxial ratcheting response, but fails in others. The Voyiadjis–Sivakumar rule and its constituents, the Phillips and the Tseng–Lee rules, can not simulate the biaxial ratcheting responses. The Kaneko rule, composed of the Ziegler and the prestress directions, and the Xia–Ellyin rule, composed of the Ziegler and Mroz directions, also fail to simulate the biaxial ratcheting responses. The Chaboche rule, with three decomposed Armstrong–Frederick rules, performs the best for the whole set of ratcheting responses. The Ohno–Wang rule performs well for the data set, except for one biaxial response where it predicts shakedown with subsequent reversal of ratcheting.  相似文献

The problem of the integration of the von Mises linear kinematic and isotropic hardening constitutive equations is considered. A new numerical integration algorithm, a generalised trapezoidal rule, is proposed and discussed in detail. It is shown how the structure of the elastic-plastic constitutive equations of the, well known, backward difference and midpoint rules, leading to a symmetric consistent tangent modulus, can be adopted for this trapezoidal rule. On this base a unified treatment of the backward difference, midpoint, and trapezoidal rules is presented. An accuracy analysis is conducted by means of detailed isoerror maps so as to provide a comparison between different integration algorithms.  相似文献

对疲劳载荷、应力、寿命和强度的随机性分别进行了明确分类.然后,针对在疲劳理论发展史上有代表性的、目前在国内外仍被大量引用的(主要用于裂纹起始阶段的)疲劳累积损伤准则,从力学、概率统计等方面进行了较深入系统的分析.提出疲劳损伤累积具有两类不同的概率机制,即损伤在单一个体内具有的随机性以及损伤在同一母体中不同个体之间具有的分散性.最后,重点介绍了二维概率Miper准则以及有关随机疲劳寿命、随机疲劳强度等方面的研究进展.   相似文献

根据边坡稳定问题具有的模糊性,提出了一种判定边坡稳定性的模糊神经网络模型。该系统仅从期望输入输出数据集即可达到获取知识、确定模糊初始规则基的目的。再利用神经网络学习能力便不难修改规则库中的模糊规则以及隶属函数和网络权值等参数,这样大大减少了规则匹配过程,加快了推理速度,从而极大程度地提高了系统的自适应能力。最后用收集到的边坡数据样本训练和测试模糊神经网络模型,结果表明该模糊神经网络预测边坡稳定性是可行的、有效的。  相似文献

纤维增强树指复合材料(FRP)已成为高性能结构的先进材料。本文对FRP疲劳累积损伤理论作了详细的回顾,它们可分为剩余寿命模型、剩余刚度模型、耗散能模型、Markov链模型和其它经验公式。还用两个大样本实验数据对这些模型作了分析对比,结果表明:除Yao和Himmel的剩余强度模型略优一些,其它模型则与传统的Miner模型不相上下。   相似文献

In this paper, a new highly convergent, efficient, and fast response control technique entitled as fuzzy-Padé control method is introduced. It provides a simple methodology to exploit the heuristic knowledge in controlling a system. Fuzzy–Padé controllers originate from a unification of heuristic knowledge expressed as the rule base, and Padé approximants. In this method, fuzzy singleton rules are used to generate the rule base. Accordingly, unknown parameters in the Padé approximant are determined using these rules. The fuzzy-Padé controllers possess certain advantages over fuzzy controllers, and they can be applied in situations where fuzzy controllers previously failed. To demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the method, the simulation results for three case studies, the single inverted pendulum, ball and beam, and parallel double inverted pendulum systems are presented. In the case studies, it is shown that the fuzzy-Padé controller has greater convergence region, is quite faster, and its energy consumption is much lower than the fuzzy controller.  相似文献

This paper proposes that the theory of local rules provides a model for explaining organizational behavior as an emergent property of a fitness landscape. While local rule theory has its genesis in evolutionary biology, this paper links it to work in computational mathematical organizational theory. It further proposes that there are conditions, characterized by coadaptation, under which rules will survive in relatively stable forms, and other conditions, characterized by competition, under which local rules will change. The paper then discusses how catastrophe analysis can provide insights into changing patterns of organizational interactions. A discussion of methodology outline shows developments in agent-based simulation modeling can contribute to the development of local rule theory.  相似文献

屈服准则对板料成形过程的理论解析、工艺优化和有限元模拟有着重要的影响. 通过提高屈服准则的各向异性表征能力, 可以确保成形过程的可靠性及实际预测的准确性. 本文基于非关联流动法则, 给出了Gotoh屈服准则一套全新的参数求解方法. 在结合常用屈服准则并考虑流动规律的基础上, 分别以5754O铝合金、DP980先进高强钢和SAPH440结构钢作为研究对象, 进行了不同加载路径下各向异性变形行为的预测. 根据Gotoh屈服准则推导的屈服函数、塑性势函数以及基于关联流动的理论函数计算出屈服应力和各向异性指数$r$值随加载角度的分布趋势, 进而针对平面应力状态的屈服轨迹展开分析, 验证了不同屈服准则和流动规律对各向异性屈服行为的预测精度. 理论与实验数据对比结果表明: 不同屈服准则针对同种板料在流动规律一致的情形下其表征各向异性的能力有显著差异; 相同屈服准则基于不同流动规律其表征能力也具有明显差别. 基于非关联流动的屈服准则能极大地提高精度, 各向异性表征能力显著加强. 相关结果能够为各向异性屈服准则在塑性成形领域的实际应用方案提供重要参考.   相似文献

In a search for a constitutive model for ratcheting simulations, the models by Chaboche, Ohno–Wang, McDowell, Jiang–Sehitoglu, Voyiadjis–Basuroychowdhury and AbdelKarim–Ohno are evaluated against a set of uniaxial and biaxial ratcheting responses. With the assumption of invariant shape of the yield surface during plastic loading, the ratcheting simulations for uniaxial loading are primarily a function of the plastic modulus calculation, whereas the simulations for multiaxial loading are sensitive to the kinematic hardening rule of a model. This characteristic of the above mentioned models is elaborated in this paper. It is demonstrated that if all parameters of the kinematic hardening rule are determined from uniaxial responses only, these parameters primarily enable a better plastic modulus calculation. However, in this case the role of the kinematic hardening rule in representing the ratcheting responses for multiaxial loading is under-appreciated. This realization motivated many researchers to incorporate multiaxial load dependent terms or parameters into the kinematic hardening rule. This paper evaluates some of these modified rules and finds that none is general enough to simulate the ratcheting responses consistently for the experiments considered. A modified kinematic hardening rule is proposed using the idea of Delobelle and his co-workers in the framework of the Chaboche model. This new rule introduces only one multiaxial load dependent parameter to the Chaboche model, but performs the best in simulating all the ratcheting responses considered.  相似文献

通过四种不同双向加载规则的钢筋混凝土高墩拟静力试验,初步研究了双向拟静力加载规则对其滞回特性的影响规律。本文主要介绍钢筋混凝土高墩的试验构件设计,加载装置、测试方法和加载规则,着重比较了对角线加载、正方形加载、菱形加载和圆形加载等四种加载规则的钢筋混凝土高墩的滞回性能,包括荷载-位移滞回曲线、荷载-位移骨架曲线、荷载退化、刚度退化以及累积滞回耗能的特点,并分析这些特点与双向加载规则之间的关系。结论认为:对角线加载模式加载效率高且能较好反映高墩双向抗震滞回性能,适合于高墩的双向拟静力试验研究。  相似文献

An energy-based damage model currently used for seismic analysis of structures is modified to ensure a positive value in the damage index at all levels of inelastic response. At the ultimate limit state, the modified model gives the same plastic strain energy capacity as the previous damage model. Testing of small-scale cantilever specimens showed different strength deterioration parameters for coldrolled and hot-rolled steel and composite systems of double cantilevers. The strength deterioration parameter for the composite system is smaller than that of the individual cantilevers. Various weighted-average rules for combining local member damage indices into story-level damage indices are compared with measured story-level damage indices. Based on testing of small-scale steel cantilevers, the current combination rules predict the story-level damage reasonably well near the ultimate limit state but tend to underestimate the story-level damage in the less severely damaged states. A combination rule based on best fitting of the experimental data obtained in this study is presented.  相似文献

Ratcheting is defined as the accumulation of plastic strains during cyclic plastic loading. Modeling this behavior is extremely difficult because any small error in plastic strain during a single cycle will add to become a large error after many cycles. As is typical with metals, most constitutive models use the associative flow rule which states that the plastic strain increment is in the direction normal to the yield surface. When the associative flow rule is used, it is important to have the shape of the yield surface modeled accurately because small deviations in shape may result in large deviations in the normal to the yield surface and thus the plastic strain increment in multi-axial loading. During cyclic plastic loading these deviations will accumulate and may result in large errors to predicted strains.This paper compares the bi-axial ratcheting simulations of two classes of plasticity models. The first class of models consists of the classical von Mises model with various kinematic hardening (KH) rules. The second class of models introduce directional distortional hardening (DDH) in addition to these various kinematic hardening rules. Directional distortion describes the formation of a region of high curvature on the yield surface approximately in the direction of loading and a region of flattened curvature approximately in the opposite direction. Results indicate that the addition of directional distortional hardening improves ratcheting predictions, particularly under biaxial stress controlled loading, over kinematic hardening alone.  相似文献

In this paper, the conditions of solution existence for stress rates under given strain rates are investigated. The focus of the solution existence investigation is on the non-associated flow rule and elastic stress–strain relationship. Granular materials characterized with strong non-associated plastic flows are used as a particular example for analysis. Various flow rules for granular materials are analyzed, including Rowe’s, Roscoe’s flow rules and their modified versions. In the elastic stress–strain relationships of materials, the effects of Poisson’s ratio on solution existence are investigated. Both isotropic and anisotropic elasticity are considered. Given a granular material and its states, it is found that there exists a critical Poisson’s ratio for a particular non-associated flow rule. When the Poisson’s ratio of a material is above this critical Poisson’s ratio, its constitutive model is susceptible to solution non-existence. It is suggested that special attentions should be paid to the selection of material Poisson’s ratio and non-associated flow rule to ensure the existence of elastoplastic solutions.  相似文献

Numerical simulation of Poiseuille flow of liquid Argon in a nanochannel using the non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulation (NEMD) is performed. The nanochannel is a three-dimensional rectangular prism geometry where the concerned numbers of Argon atoms are 2,700, 2,550 and 2,400 at 102, 108 and 120 K. Poiseuille flow is simulated by embedding the fluid particles in a uniform force field. An external driving force, ranging from 1 to 11 PN (Pico Newton), is applied along the flow direction to inlet fluid particles during the simulation. To obtain a more uniform temperature distribution across the channel, local thermostating near the wall are used. Also, the effect of other mixing rules (Lorenthz–Berthelot and Waldman–Kugler rules) on the interface structure are examined by comparing the density profiles near the liquid/solid interfaces for wall temperatures 108 and 133 K for an external force of 7 PN. Using Kong and Waldman–Kugler rules, the molecules near the solid walls were more randomly distributed compared to Lorenthz–Berthelot rule. These mean that the attraction between solid–fluid atoms was weakened by using Kong rule and Waldman–Kugler rule rather than the Lorenthz–Berthelot rule. Also, results show that the mean axial velocity has symmetrical distribution near the channel centerline and an increase in external driving force can increase maximum and average velocity values of fluid. Furthermore, the slip length and slip velocity are functions of the driving forces and they show an arising trend with an increase in inlet driving force and no slip boundary condition is satisfied at very low external force (<1 PN).  相似文献

在金属晶体材料高应变率大应变变形过程中,存在强烈的位错胞尺寸等微观结构特征长度细化现象,势必对材料加工硬化、宏观塑性流动应力产生重要影响。基于宏观塑性流动应力与位错胞尺寸成反比关系,提出了一种新型的BCJ本构模型。利用位错胞尺寸参数,修正了BCJ模型的流动法则、内变量演化方程,引入了考虑应变率和温度相关性的位错胞尺寸演化方程,建立了综合考虑微观结构特征长度演化、位错累积与湮灭的内变量黏塑性本构模型。应用本文模型,对OFHC铜应变率在10-4~103 s-1、温度在298~542 K、应变在0~1的实验应力-应变数据进行了预测。结果表明:在较宽应变率、温度和应变范围内,本文模型的预测数据与实验吻合很好;与BCJ模型相比,对不同加载条件下实验数据的预测精度均有较大程度的提高,最大平均相对误差从9.939%减小为5.525%。  相似文献
