鱼类经常采用垂直流向的摆动进行游动, 这种摆动可以用行进波来表示. 应用浸入边界方法模拟了低雷诺数条件下水翼NACA65-010在水中摆动时的流场,并研究了雷诺数对水生动物推进效率的影响. 结果表明:随着雷诺数的增大,推力系数和推进效率增大,而功率系数减小;在Re<20时,推力系数,推进效率和功率系数的变化尤为剧烈. 随雷诺数增加,由于水翼摆动诱导的流场变化也更加复杂,水翼后缘处的涡量场强度逐渐增强. 摆动诱导反卡门涡街产生推力.   相似文献

根据投影浸入边界法分步投影求解的特点,同时针对压力泊松方程离散后的大型稀疏线性方程组是非奇异非对称的特点,结合开源函数库UMFPACK,在传递线性方程组的系数矩阵和右端向量时,采用函数库Eigen将系数矩阵的数据结构改写优化,大大降低了存储空间,实现对高维大型稀疏线性方程组的快速求解,同时求解保持良好的稳定性。本文首先利用一具有解析解的数值算例验证了求解泊松方程数值方法的准确性和网格依赖性,进而利用VC++编写投影浸入边界法的数值计算程序,以单圆柱绕流为基准数值算例,通过与其他文献和实验结果的对比,验证了投影浸入边界法数值计算结果的可靠性,并进一步分析了不同雷诺数下圆柱绕流的流场结构特征和尾涡结构的动态演化过程。  相似文献

在弹性支撑的圆柱周围布置直径更小圆柱会影响剪切层发展以及旋涡脱落,进而改变其涡激振动状态.通过不同的布置形式和附加小圆柱个数可以实现对圆柱涡激振动的促进或抑制.激励更大幅值的振动可以更好地将水流动能转化为可利用的机械能或电能,抑制其振动则可以实现对海洋平台等结构物的保护.采用基于迭代的嵌入式浸入边界法对前侧对称布置两个小圆柱的圆柱涡激振动进行数值模拟研究,系统仅做横向振动,其中基于主圆柱直径的雷诺数为100,质量比为2.0,折合流速为3~11.小圆柱与主圆柱的直径比为0.125,间隙比为0.125.结果表明,在研究的控制角范围内(30°~90°),附加小圆柱可以很大程度上改变圆柱涡激振动的状态.当控制角较小(30°)时,附加小圆柱对主圆柱的振动起抑制作用;当控制角为45°~60°时,圆柱的振动分为涡振和弛振两个阶段,在弛振阶段,圆柱振幅随折合流速增加而持续增加;当控制角较大(75°~90°)时,附加小圆柱的促进作用随着控制角增加而减小.进一步地,结合一个周期内不同时刻旋涡脱落以及圆周压强分布,解释了附加小圆柱对主圆柱涡激振动的作用机制.应用能量系数对圆柱系统的进一步分析发现,弛振阶段由流体传递到主圆柱的能量系数随折合流速的增加逐渐下降,旋涡结构的改变是产生这种变化的直接原因.   相似文献

数值模拟是解决土-结构动力相互作用问题的重要手段,而合理地实现地震波动输入直接影响地震作用下土-结构动力相互作用问题数值模拟的精度。波动法是目前常用的地震动输入方法之一,该方法将输入地震动转化为人工边界上的等效荷载,相较于其他地震动输入方法,波动法模拟精度高,但实施上相对复杂。从有限元模型入手,推导了采用波动法确定等效输入地震荷载的另一种形式,以此为基础,提出了一种在人工边界上实现地震动输入的新方法。新方法通过对土-结构有限元模型中由包含人工边界节点的单元组成的子结构施加自由场位移时程并进行动力分析,直接获得可实现地震波动有效输入的等效荷载,然后将等效输入地震荷载施加在土-结构模型的人工边界节点上,从而完成土-结构动力相互作用问题分析中地震动输入和地震反应计算。与原有波动法相比,新方法避免了需分别计算人工边界上自由场应力和由引入人工边界条件带来的附加力,以及需要根据不同人工边界面确定荷载的作用方向等较为复杂的处理过程,具有等效地震荷载计算简便、地震动输入过程更易于实施的特点。采用竖直入射和斜入射地震波动作用下的弹性半空间和成层半空间地震反应算例验证了新方法的有效性。   相似文献

介绍两类不同的浸入式边界方法及其对它的改进. 然后采用均匀矩形交错网格和压力校正投影法,对不可压流场中的二维圆柱绕流进行了数值求解并对比了两类方法的精度.计算分析表明,连续显力法具有构造简单,适用性强的优点. 但离散隐力法在物面边界精度上要优于前者. 改进后,在二阶精度的离散格式下物面边界精度较低的显示力源法的精度有一定提高,同时发现,加密网格以提高数值精度的方法对于连续显力法并不总是有效.而同样格式下,离散隐力法具有更高精度,其中预测-校正离散隐力法可以在此基础上获得更小的计算误差和更快的收敛速度. 数值解与文献已有的数值和实验结果吻合得很好,表明边界算法及其程序是可靠和有效的.   相似文献

错列角度对双圆柱涡激振动影响的数值模拟研究   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
为研究错列角度α对双圆柱涡激振动问题的影响,采用自主研发的基于CIP (constrained interpolation profile)方法的数值模型,对雷诺数Re=100、错列角度α=0°~90° (间隔15 #x00B0;)的等直径双圆柱涡激振动问题进行数值模拟. 模型在笛卡尔网格系统下建立,采用具有三阶精度的 CIP 方法求解 N-S (Navier--Stokes)方程,采用浸入边界法处理流--固耦合问题,避免了任意拉欧方法下的网格畸变和重叠动网格技术中的大量信息交换问题,保证了模型的计算效率. 重点分析不同错列角度α上下游圆柱的升阻力系数、位移响应、涡脱频率和尾涡模态等. 结果表明:折合速度Ur=2.0~3.0时,上下游圆柱升阻力随错列角度的增大基本呈单调增大的趋势;Ur=5.0~8.0时,随错列角度的增大,上下游圆柱阻力变化较小,升力呈“上凸”趋势,在α=15°~30°取得最大值;Ur=10.0~13.0时,随错列角度的增大,上下游圆柱阻力变化较小,升力呈“下凹”趋势,在α=30°~45°取得最小值,且柱体横流向振幅和升力没有明显的对应关系. 最后,结合尾涡模态对以上规律的成因进行分析. 研究结果可为相关海洋工程设计提供参考.   相似文献

基于Fluent软件平台,采用数值模拟方法对非稳态圆柱体结构尾流流动特性进行了研究。对在Re=50~200范围内,双旋转附属圆柱的转速对主圆柱体尾流流动特性的影响进行了分析。研究结果表明:随着附属圆柱旋转速率的增加,主圆柱体表面所受阻力系数平均值与均方根值、升力系数均方根值均会减小。同时,旋转速率的变化对柱体结构表面压力分布的影响显著,压力系数在附属圆柱的位置产生了跳跃性变化。另外,当附属圆柱转速达到临界值时,尾流涡街变窄,涡脱落现象消失,并且系统的能量效率到达最佳状态。  相似文献

A computational fluid dynamics study of the swimming efficiency of a two‐dimensional flapping hydrofoil at a Reynolds number of 1100 is presented. The model accounts fully for viscous effects that are particularly important when flow separation occurs. The model uses an arbitrary Lagrangian–Eulerian (ALE) method to track the moving boundaries of oscillatory and flapping bodies. A parametric analysis is presented of the variables that affect the motion of the hydrofoil as it moves through the flow along with flow visualizations in an attempt to quantify and qualify the effect that these variables have on the performance of the hydrofoil. Marine animals and micro-machines often use wiggling motion to generate thrust. The wiggling motion can be modeled by a progressive wave where its wavelength describes the flexibility of wiggling animals. In the present study, an immersed boundary method is used to simulate the flows around the wiggling hydrofoil NACA 65-010 at low Reynolds numbers. One can find from the numerical simulations that the thrust generation is largely determined by the wavelength. The thrust coefficients decrease with the increasing wavelength while the propulsive efficiency reaches a maximum at a certain wavelength due to the viscous effects. The thrust generation is associated with two different flow patterns in the wake: the well-known reversed Karman vortex streets and the vortex dipoles. Both are jet-type flows where the thrust coefficients associated with the reversed Karman vortex streets are larger than the ones associated with the vortex diploes.  相似文献

Towards simulation of flapping wings using immersed boundary method   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
In this work the immersed boundary method is applied to simulate incompressible turbulent flows around stationary and moving objects. The goal is to demonstrate that the immersed boundary technique along with a large eddy simulation approach is capable of simulating the effect of the so‐called leading edge vortex (LEV), which can be found in flapping wing aerodynamics. A Lagrangian method is used to approximate the solutions in the freshly cleared cells that lay within solid objects at one time step and emerge into fluid domain at the next time step. Flow around a stationary cylinder at ReD = 20, 40, and 3900 (based on cylinder diameter D) is first studied to validate the immersed boundary solver based on the finite volume scheme using a staggered grid. Then, a harmonically oscillating cylinder at ReD = 10 000 is considered to test the solver after the Lagrangian method is implemented to interpolate the solution in the freshly cleared cells. Finally, this approach is used to study flows around a stationary flat‐plate at several angles of attack and fast pitching flat‐plate. The rapidly pitching plate creates a dynamic LEV that can be used to improve the efficiency of flapping wings of micro air vehicle and to determine the optimum flapping frequency. The improvement of power extraction of a semi-activated flapping foil system via the use of a flexible tail is numerically investigated in this work. A NACA0015 airfoil arranged in a two-dimensional laminar flow synchronously executes a forced pitching motion and an induced plunging motion. A flat plate attached to the trailing edge of the foil is utilized to model a tail, and thereby they are considered as a unit for the purpose of power extraction. The tail is either rigid or deformable. At a Reynolds number of 1100 and the position of the pitching axis at third chord, the effects of the mass and flexibility of the tail as well as the frequency of pitching motion on the net power extraction are systematically examined. It is found that compared to the foil with a rigid tail, the efficiency of net power extraction for the foil with a deformable tail can be improved. Based on the numerical analysis, it is indicated that the enhanced power extraction, which is caused by the increased lift force, directly contributes to the net efficiency improvement. Moreover, owing to high enhancement of power extraction, a flexible tail with high flexibility is recommended in the semi-activated flapping foil based power extraction system.  相似文献

In this work, we investigate the dynamics of the near wake in a turbulent flow going past a circular cylinder with/without particles at a moderate Reynolds number using a direct numerical simulation method. High-order finite-deference schemes are applied to solve for the bulk fluid properties, and a Lagrangian approach is adopted to track the individual particles. The single-phase flow is analysed and validated using previous experimental data. Two converged states, U- and V-shaped, are observed in the near wake, which are consistent with the experimental results. For the two-phase flow, the addition of smaller particles shortens the length of the recirculation region and causes a V-shaped profile to form behind the circular cylinder. Furthermore, the particles increase the drag force from the circular cylinder and suppress the vortex shedding frequency. An increase in the turbulent statistics in the very near wake and a decrease in the turbulent statistics further downstream are also observed.  相似文献

A self-propelled flexible flapping wing 2D numerical model undergoing a combined pitching and heaving motion is presented. Since such freely moving foil experiences zero net thrust, a definition of efficiency for this kind of problem is proposed and discussed against other formulations found in the literature. It is also shown that the deviation motion of wings such as that found in natural flyers is likely a consequence of the fluid–structure dynamics of the wings. The passive deviation motion observed in numerical simulations is either a consequence of a feathering mechanism referred to as rigid feathering or of the inertial displacement caused by the wing deformation. The effects of flexibility on the performance of the wing are also presented. It is found that flexibility may significantly enhance the efficiency in pressure-driven deformation cases. The rigid feathering mechanism is found to have an effect similar to that of the feathering caused by wing flexibility on the performances of pressure-driven deformation cases.  相似文献

基于浸入边界-格子Boltzmann通量求解法,开展了雷诺数Re=100不同几何参数下单椭圆柱及串列双椭圆柱绕流流场与受力特性对比研究。结果表明,随长短轴比值的增加,单椭圆柱绕流阻力系数先减小后缓慢上升,最大升力系数则随长短轴比值的增大而减小;尾迹流动状态从周期性脱落涡到稳定对称涡。间距是影响串列圆柱及椭圆柱流场流动状态的主要因素,间距较小时,串列圆柱绕流呈周期性脱落涡状态,而椭圆柱则为稳定流动;随着间距增加,上下游圆柱及椭圆柱尾迹均出现卡门涡街现象,且串列椭圆柱临界间距大于串列圆柱。串列椭圆柱阻力的变化规律与圆柱的基本相同,上游平均阻力大于下游阻力;上游椭圆柱阻力随着间距的变大先减小,下游随间距的变大而增加,当间距达到临界间距时上下游阻力跃升,随后出现小幅度波动再逐渐增加,并趋近于相同长短轴比值下单柱体绕流的阻力。  相似文献

The effect of the wake of previous strokes on the aerodynamic forces of a flapping model insect wing is studied using the method of computational fluid dynamics. The wake effect is isolated by comparing the forces and flows of the starting stroke (when the wake has not developed) with those of a later stroke (when the wake has developed). The following has been shown. (1) The wake effect may increase or decrease the lift and drag at the beginning of a half-stroke (downstroke or upstroke), depending on the wing kinematics at stroke reversal. The reason for this is that at the beginning of the half-stroke, the wing ``impinges' on the spanwise vorticity generated by the wing during stroke reversal and the distribution of the vorticity is sensitive to the wing kinematics at stroke reversal. (2) The wake effect decreases the lift and increases the drag in the rest part of the half-stroke. This is because the wing moves in a downwash field induced by previous half-stroke's starting vortex, tip vortices and attached leading edge vortex (these vortices form a downwash producing vortex ring). (3) The wake effect decreases the mean lift by 6%–18% (depending on wing kinematics at stroke reversal) and slightly increases the mean drag. Therefore, it is detrimental to the aerodynamic performance of the flapping wing.
