从铁磁板的磁弹性广义变分原理出发,通过对铁磁板内外的磁场和板变形 场的摄动技术以及采用经典Koiter理论,对横向磁场中铁磁悬臂、简支、固支梁式薄 板磁弹性稳定性的初始后屈曲行为及缺陷敏感性进行了定性研究. 解析地给出了悬臂板对初 始缺陷敏感,简支和固支板对初始缺陷不敏感等结果,对悬臂梁式板理论预测的临界磁场值 往往大于实验观测结果的现象从定性上给予了合理解释.  相似文献

Recently, pH-sensitive hydrogels have been utilized in the diverse applications including sensors, switches, and actuators. In order to have continuous stress and deformation ?elds, a new semi-analytical approach is developed to predict the swelling induced?nite bending for a functionally graded(FG) layer composed of a pH-sensitive hydrogel,in which the cross-link density is continuously distributed along the thickness direction under the plane strain condition. Without considering the intermediary virtual reference,the initial state is mapped into the deformed con?guration in a circular shape by utilizing a total deformation gradient tensor stemming from the inhomogeneous swelling of an FG layer in response to the variation of the pH value of the solvent. To enlighten the capability of the presented analytical method, the ?nite element method(FEM) is used to verify the accuracy of the analytical results in some case studies. The perfect agreement con-?rms the accuracy of the presented method. Due to the applicability of FG pH-sensitive hydrogels, some design factors such as the semi-angle, the bending curvature, the aspect ratio, and the distributions of deformation and stress ?elds are studied. Furthermore, the tangential free-stress axes are illustrated in deformed con?guration.  相似文献

In this paper, the magnetic-elastic-plastic deformation behavior is studied for a ferromagnetic plate with simple supports. The perturbation formula of magnetic force is first derived based on the perturbation technique, and is then applied to the analysis of deformation characteristics with emphasis laid on the analyses of modes, symmetry of deformation and influences of incident angle of applied magnetic field on the plate deformation. The theoretical analyses offer explanations why the configuration offer- romagnetic rectangular plate with simple supports under an oblique magnetic field is in-wavy type along the x-direction, and why the largest deformation of the ferromagnetic plate occurs at the incident angle of 45°for the magnetic field. A numerical code based on the finite element method is developed to simulate quantitatively behaviors of the nonlinearly coupled multi-field problem. Some characteristic curves are plotted to illustrate the magneto--elastic-plastic deflections, and to reveal how the deflections can be influenced by the incident angle of applied magnetic field. The deformation characteristics obtained from the numerical simulations are found in good agreement with the theoretical analyses.  相似文献

基于广义变分原理得到的磁力计算公式,采用塑性增量理论,Mises屈服准则和有效的增量有限元计算方法,研究了线性强化材料铁磁矩形板的磁弹塑性弯曲行为。在文中定量模拟了铁磁简支矩形板在外加磁场作用下的挠度特征曲线,铁磁板发生塑性变形时的构型图和不同外加磁场下的中截面构型,以及铁磁板在卸载后的残余挠度特征曲线等力学特征,分析了塑性区域随磁场增加而扩展的情况。数值结果表明:当铁磁矩形板上的部分区域发生塑性屈服后,其变形明显大于相同磁场条件下铁磁板发生的弹性变形值;且随着外加磁场倾角的增大(0°<α≤45°),铁磁板进入塑性屈服状态的临界屈服磁场值减小;铁磁板的中截面构形为双半波型,其塑性区域由铁磁板两侧挠度最大的区域向板的中心区域扩展,板的中心最后进入塑性区域等。  相似文献

基于磁场摄动技术和广义变分原理得到的磁力公式,对铁磁梁式板在斜磁场作用下的磁场和磁力摄动展开研究.给出了考虑磁场端部效应情形时铁磁梁式板的摄动磁场及其磁力摄动表达式,使得解析分析斜磁场作用下铁磁梁式板磁弹性耦合问题成为可能.研究表明:只有考虑了磁场端部效应的斜磁场磁力摄动公式才能模拟铁磁结构的弯曲模式且能够定性揭示铁磁简支梁式板弯曲构形为双半波形.  相似文献

铁磁弹性薄板的磁弹性屈曲问题一直作为电磁——弹性力学相互作用的一个基本模型进行研究,而作用在其磁介质上的磁力计算则是定量理论预测准确与否的关键.到目前为止,文献上已有的理论模型对悬臂铁磁梁式悬臂板在横向磁场中磁弹性屈曲的理论预测值始终高于实验值,有的甚至相差100%左右.本文基于电磁力计算的微观安培电流模型,严格给出了软铁磁薄板等效横向磁力的宏观计算表达式.在此基础上,建立了电磁——力学相互耦合作用的非线性理论模型.该模型能描述铁磁薄板结构在非均匀横向磁场环境中的磁弹性失稳(或屈曲).其定量分析采用了有限元法和有限差分法相结合.数值结果显示:本模型给出的磁弹性屈曲的临界磁场值与实验值符合良好.与此同时,文中还对文献中认为较成功的Moon-Pao模型的基本假设进行了分析.定量结果发现:Moon-Pao理论模型的基本假设仅在梁式板的长厚比L/h比较大时(约在200左右),是可以接受的,而当L/h较小时,该假设将导致理论值与实验值的较大误差.L/h比值越小,理论值与实验值的误差越大  相似文献

A thermal postbuckling analysis is presented for a moderately thick rectangular plate subjected to (1) uniform and non-uniform tent-like temperature loading; and (2) combined axial compression and uniform temperature loading. The initial geometrical imperfection of plate is taken into account. The formulations are based on the Reissner-Mindlin plate theory considering the effects of rotary inertia and transverse shear deformation. The analysis uses a deflection-type perturbation technique to determine the thermal buckling loads and postbuckling equilibrium paths. Numerical examples are presented that relate to the performances of perfect and imperfect, moderately thick rectangular plates and are compared with the results predicted by the thin plate theory.  相似文献

An analysis of buckling/snapping and bending behaviors of magneto-elastic-plastic interaction and coupling for cantilever rectangular soft ferromagnetic plates is presented.Based on the expression of magnetic force from the variational principle of ferromagnetic plates,the buckling and bending theory of thin plates,the Mises yield criterion and the increment theory for plastic deformation,we establish a numerical code to quantitatively simulate the behaviors of the nonlinearly multi-fields coupling problems by the finite element method.Along with the phenom- ena of buckling/snapping and bending,or the characteristic curve of deflection versus magnitude of applied magnetic fields being numerically displayed,the critical loads of buckling/snapping, and the influences of plastic deformation and the width of plate on these critical loads,the plastic regions expanding with the magnitude of applied magnetic field,as well as the evolvement of deflection configuration of the plate are numerically obtained in a case study.  相似文献

For a simply supported elastic-plastic square plate under axial compression the post-bifurcation behaviour and the sensitivity to initial imperfections are investigated. An exact asymptotic expansion is given for the initial post-bifurcation behaviour of a perfect plate compressed into the plastic range. The imperfection sensitivity is studied through an asymptotic analysis of the behaviour of the hypoelastic plate that results from neglecting the effect of elastic unloading. The results of the asymptotic analyses are compared with results of a numerical incremental solution by means of a combined finite element—Rayleigh Ritz method. The paper considers the effect of different in-plane boundary conditions and the effect of various degrees of strain hardening.  相似文献

This paper investigates the boundary layer ?ow of the Maxwell ?uid around a stretchable horizontal rotating cylinder under the in?uence of a transverse magnetic?eld. The constitutive ?ow equations for the current physical problem are modeled and analyzed for the ?rst time in the literature. The torsional motion of the cylinder is considered with the constant azimuthal velocity E. The partial di?erential equations(PDEs)governing the torsional motion of the Maxwell ?uid together with energy transport are simpli?ed with the boundary layer concept. The current analysis is valid only for a certain range of the positive Reynolds numbers. However, for very large Reynolds numbers, the ?ow becomes turbulent. Thus, the governing similarity equations are simpli?ed through suitable transformations for the analysis of the large Reynolds numbers. The numerical simulations for the ?ow, heat, and mass transport phenomena are carried out in view of the bvp4 c scheme in MATLAB. The outcomes reveal that the velocity decays exponentially faster and reduces for higher values of the Reynolds numbers and the ?ow penetrates shallower into the free stream ?uid. It is also noted that the phenomenon of stress relaxation, described by the Deborah number, causes to decline the ?ow ?elds and enhance the thermal and solutal energy transport during the ?uid motion. The penetration depth decreases for the transport of heat and mass in the ?uid with the higher Reynolds numbers. An excellent validation of the numerical results is assured through tabular data with the existing literature.  相似文献

The performance of a piecewise-stressed ZnO piezoelectric semiconductor nano?ber is studied with the multi-?eld coupling theory. The ?elds produced by equal and opposite forces as well as sinusoidally distributed forces are examined. Speci?c distributions of potential barriers, wells, and regions with effective polarization charges are found. This work examines the convective instability of a horizontal layer of magnetohydrodynamic fluid of variable permeability when subjected to a non-vertical magnetic field. We use a model proposed by P. H. Roberts [9] in the context of neutron stars but the results obtained are aso relevant to the area of ferromagnetic fluids. The presence of the variable permeability has no effect on the development of instabilities through the mechanism of stationary convection but influences the threshold of overstable convection which is often the preferred mechanism in non-terrestrial applications. In the context of ferromagnetic fluids, both stationary and overstable instability can be expected to be realisable possibilities.  相似文献

In this paper, a set of basic equations for free vibration of ferromagnetic conducting plates in a transverse magnetic field are presented, in which the coupled effects of magnetization and eddy current on the mechanical behavior of the plate are included. Based on the quantitative analyses on the vibration frequency and the values of the critical magnetic field for several supporting conditions of the plate, the effects of the conductivity, the magnetic permeability, the thickness of the plate and supporting conditions on the vibration frequency of the plate and the critical magnetic field are discussed. Linearized equations and boundary conditions of a magnetoelastic ferromagnetic body are obtained with the nonlinear law of magnetization. Magnetoelastic interactions in a multi-domain ferromagnetic materials are considered for magneto soft materials, i.e. the case when the magnetic field intensity vector and magnetization vector are parallel. As a special case, the following two problems are considered: (1) the magnetoelastic stability of a ferromagnetic plate-strip in a homogeneous transverse magnetic field; (2) the stress–strain state of a ferromagnetic plane with a moving crack in a transverse magnetic field. It is shown that the modeling of magnetoelastic equations with a nonlinear law of magnetization provides qualitative and quantitative predictions on physical quantities including critical loads and stresses. In particular, it is shown that the critical magnetic field in plate stability problems found with the nonlinear law of magnetization is in better agreement with the experimental finding than the one found with a linear law. Furthermore, it is also shown that the stress concentration factor around a crack predicted with the nonlinear law of magnetization is more accurate than the one obtained with a linear counterpart. Numerical results are presented for above mentioned two problems and for various forms of nonlinear laws of magnetization.  相似文献
