The stochastic dynamic responses of viscoelastic systems with real-power exponents of stiffness term subjects to randomly disordered periodic excitations are studied. The assumed viscoelastic damping depends on the past history of motion via convolution integrals over an exponentially decaying kernel function. The multiple scales method is used to derive the stochastic different equations of modulation of amplitude and phase. The changes of the shape of resonance curves are obtained with real-power exponents of stiffness term and viscoelastic parameters, and then, the numerical simulation method was used to verify the accuracy of the theoretical analysis results. Theoretical analysis and numerical simulations show that as the intensity of the random excitation increases, the steady-state solution changes from a limit cycle to a diffused limited cycle. Under some conditions, the system may have two steady-state solutions and the phenomenon of jumps will happen to them under the random excitations.  相似文献

This paper presents a new periodic switching chaotic system, which is topologically non-equivalent to the original sole chaotic systems. Of particular interest is that the periodic switching chaotic system can generate stable solution in a very wide parameter domain and has rich dynamic phenomena. The existence of a stable limit cycle with a suitable choice of the parameters is investigated. The complex dynamical evolutions of the switching system composed of the Rössler system and the Chua’s circuit are discussed, which is switched by equal period. Then the possible bifurcation behaviors of the system at the switching boundary are obtained. The mechanism of the different behaviors of the system is investigated. It is pointed out that the trajectories of the system have obvious switching points, which are decided by the periodic signal. Meanwhile, the system may be led to chaos via a period-doubling bifurcation, resulting in the switching collisions between the trajectories and the non-smooth boundary points. The complicated dynamics are studied by virtue of theoretical analysis and numerical simulation. Furthermore, the control methods of this periodic switching system are discussed. The results we have obtained clearly show that the nonlinear switching system includes different waveforms and frequencies and it deserves more detailed research.  相似文献

旨在揭示含双频周期激励的不同尺度Filippov系统的非光滑簇发振荡模式及分岔机制. 以Duffing和Van der Pol耦合振子作为动力系统模型,引入周期变化的双频激励项,当两激励频率与固有频率存在量级差时,将两周期激励项表示为可以作为一慢变参数的单一周期激励项的代数表达式,给出了当保持外部激励频率不变,改变参数激励频率的情况下,快子系统随慢变参数变化的平衡曲线及因系统出现的fold分岔或Hopf分岔导致的系统分岔行为的演化机制.结合转换相图和由Hopf分岔产生稳定极限环的演化过程,得到了由慢变参数确定的同宿分岔、多滑分岔的临界情形及因慢变参数改变而出现的混合振荡模式,并详细阐述了系统的簇发振荡机制和非光滑动力学行为特性.通过对比两种不同情形下的平衡曲线及分岔图,指出虽然系统有相似的平衡曲线结构, 却因参数激励频率取值的不同,致使平衡曲线发生了更多的曲折,对应的极值点的个数也有所改变,并通过数值模拟, 对结果进行了验证.   相似文献

By considering the characteristics of deformation of rotationally periodic structures under rotationally periodic loads, the periodic structure is divided into some identical substructures in this study. The degrees-of-freedom (DOFs) of joint nodes between the neighboring substructures are classified as master and slave ones. The stress and strain conditions of the whole structure are obtained by solving the elastic static equations for only one substructure by introducing the displacement constraints between master and slave DOFs. The complex constraint method is used to get the bifurcation buckling load and mode for the whole rotationally periodic structure by solving the eigenvalue problem for only one substructure without introducing any additional approximation. The finite element (FE) formulation of shell element of relative degrees of freedom (SERDF) in the buckling analysis is derived. Different measures of tackling internal degrees of freedom for different kinds of buckling problems and different stages of numerical analysis are presented. Some numerical examples are given to illustrate the high efficiency and validity of this method.  相似文献

The Ananthakrishna model, seeking to explain the phenomenon of repeated yielding of materials, is studied with or without periodic perturbation. For the unforced model, Hopf bifurcation, degenerate Hopf bifurcation and saddle-node bifurcation are detected. For the periodically forced model, two elementary periodic mechanisms are analyzed corresponding to five bifurcation cases of the unforced one. Rich dynamical behaviors arise, including stable and unstable periodic solutions of different periods, quasi-periodic solutions, chaos through torus destruction or cascade of period doublings. Moreover, even small change of a parameter can lead to bifurcation of different periodic solutions. Finally, according to the forced Ananthakrishna model, four types of stress–time curves are simulated, which can well interpret various experimental phenomena of repeated yielding.  相似文献

大量的多吸引子共存是引起齿轮传动系统具有丰富动力学行为的一个重要因素.多吸引子共存时,运动工况的变化以及不可避免的扰动都可能导致齿轮传动系统在不同运动行为之间跳跃变换,对整个机器产生不良的影响.目前,一些隐藏的吸引子没有被发现,共存吸引子的分岔演化规律没有被完全揭示.考虑单自由度直齿圆柱齿轮传动系统,构建由局部映射复合的Poincaré映射,给出Jacobi矩阵特征值计算的半解析法.应用数值仿真、延拓打靶法和Floquet特征乘子求解共存吸引子的稳定性与分岔,应用胞映射法计算共存吸引子的吸引域,讨论啮合频率、阻尼比和时变激励幅值对系统动力学的影响,揭示齿轮传动系统倍周期型擦边分岔、亚临界倍周期分岔诱导的鞍结分岔和边界激变等不连续分岔行为.倍周期分岔诱导的鞍结分岔引起相邻周期吸引子相互转迁的跳跃与迟滞,使倍周期分岔呈现亚临界特性.鞍结分岔是共存周期吸引子出现或消失的主要原因.边界激变引起混沌吸引子及其吸引域突然消失,对应周期吸引子的分岔终止.  相似文献

A new stochastic averaging procedure for single-degree-of-freedom strongly non-linear oscillators with lightly linear and (or) non-linear dampings subject to weakly external and (or) parametric excitations of wide-band random processes is developed by using the so-called generalized harmonic functions. The procedure is applied to predict the response of Duffing–van der Pol oscillator under both external and parametric excitations of wide-band stationary random processes. The analytical stationary probability density is verified by digital simulation and the factors affecting the accuracy of the procedure are analyzed. The proposed procedure is also applied to study the asymptotic stability in probability and stochastic Hopf bifurcation of Duffing–van der Pol oscillator under parametric excitations of wide-band stationary random processes in both stiffness and damping terms. The stability conditions and bifurcation parameter are simply determined by examining the asymptotic behaviors of averaged square-root of total energy and averaged total energy, respectively, at its boundaries. It is shown that the stability analysis using linearized equation is correct only if the linear stiffness term does not vanish.  相似文献

不同尺度耦合系统存在的复杂振荡及其分岔机理一直是当前国内外研究的热点课题之一. 目前相关工作大都是针对单频周期激励频域两尺度系统,而对于含有两个或两个以上周期激励系统尺度效应的研究则相对较少. 为深入揭示多频激励系统的不同尺度效应,本文以修正的四维蔡氏电路为例,通过引入两个频率不同的周期电流源,建立了双频1:2周期激励两尺度动力学模型. 当两激励频率之间存在严格共振关系,且周期激励频率远小于系统的固有频率时,可以将两周期激励项转换为单一周期激励项的函数形式. 将该单一周期激励项视为慢变参数,给出了不同激励幅值下快子系统随慢变参数变化的平衡曲线及其分岔行为的演化过程,重点考察了3种较为典型的不同外激励幅值下系统的簇发振荡行为. 结合转换相图,揭示了各种簇发振荡的产生机理. 系统的轨线会随慢变参数的变化,沿相应的稳定平衡曲线运动,而fold分岔会导致轨迹在不同稳定平衡曲线上的跳跃,产生相应的激发态. 激发态可以用从分岔点向相应稳定平衡曲线的暂态过程来近似,其振荡幅值的变化和振荡频率也可用相应平衡点特征值的实部和虚部来描述,并进一步指出随着外激励幅值的改变,导致系统参与簇发振荡的平衡曲线分岔点越多,其相应簇发振荡吸引子的结构也越复杂.   相似文献

This study investigates a low degree-of-freedom (DoF) mechanical model of shimmying wheels. The model is studied using bifurcation theory and numerical continuation. Self-excited vibrations, that is, stable and unstable periodic motions of the wheel, are detected with the help of Hopf bifurcation calculations. These oscillations are then followed over a large parameter range for different damping values by means of the software package AUTO97. For certain parameter regions, the branches representing large-amplitude stable and unstable periodic motions become isolated following an isola birth. These regions are extremely dangerous from an engineering point of view if they are not identified and avoided at the design stage. A nonlinear time-varying dynamic model for a multistage planetary gear train, considering time-varying meshing stiffness, nonlinear error excitation, and piece-wise backlash nonlinearities, is formulated. Varying dynamic motions are obtained by solving the dimensionless equations of motion in general coordinates by using the varying-step Gill numerical integration method. The influences of damping coefficient, excitation frequency, and backlash on bifurcation and chaos properties of the system are analyzed through dynamic bifurcation diagram, time history, phase trajectory, Poincaré map, and power spectrum. It shows that the multi-stage planetary gear train system has various inner nonlinear dynamic behaviors because of the coupling of gear backlash and time-varying meshing stiffness. As the damping coefficient increases, the dynamic behavior of the system transits to an increasingly stable periodic motion, which demonstrates that a higher damping coefficient can suppress a nonperiodic motion and thereby improve its dynamic response. The motion state of the system changes into chaos in different ways of period doubling bifurcation, and Hopf bifurcation.  相似文献

A general model of a rub-impact rotor system is set up and supported by oil film journal bearings. The Jacobian matrix of the system response is used to calculate the Floquet multipliers, and the stability of periodic response is determined via the Floquet theory. The nonlinear dynamic characteristics of the system are investigated when the rotating speed and damping ratio is used as control parameter. The analysis methods are inclusive of bifurcation diagrams, Poincaré maps, phase plane portraits, power spectrums, and vibration responses of the rotor center and bearing center. The analysis reveals a complex dynamic behavior comprising periodic, multi-periodic, chaotic, and quasi-periodic response. The modeling results thus obtained by using the proposed method will contribute to understanding and controlling of the nonlinear dynamic behaviors of the rotor-bearing system.  相似文献

Nonlinear dynamical behaviors of an axially accelerating viscoelastic sandwich beam subjected to three-to-one internal resonance and parametric excitations resulting from simultaneous velocity and tension fluctuations are investigated. The direct method of multiple scales is adopted to obtain a set of first-order ordinary differential equations and associated boundary conditions. The frequency and amplitude response curves along with their stability and bifurcation are numerically studied. A great number of dynamic behaviors are presented in the form of phase portraits, time traces, Poincaré sections, and FFT power spectra. Due to modal interaction, various periodic, quasiperiodic, and chaotic behaviors are displayed, depending on the initial conditions. The largest Lyapunov exponent is carried out to determine the midly chaotic response by the convergent form of exponents. Numerical results show various oscillatory behaviors indicating the influence of internal resonance and coupled effects of fluctuating axial velocity and tension.  相似文献

The lock-in periodic solutions of the Stuart-Landau equation with a periodic excitation are studied. Using singularity theory, the bifurcation behavior of these solutions with respect to the excitation amplitude and frequency are investigated in detail, respectively. The results show that the universal unfolding with respect to the excitation amplitude possesses codimension 3. The transition sets in unfolding parameter plane and the bifurcation diagrams are plotted under some conditions. Additionally, it has also been proved that the bifurcation problem with respect to frequence possesses infinite codimension. Therefore the dynamical bifurcation behavior is very complex in this case. Some new dynamical phenomena are presented, which are the supplement of the results obtained by Sun Liang et al.  相似文献

簇发振荡是自然界和科学技术中广泛存在的快慢动力学现象,其具有与通常的振荡显著不同的特性.根据不同的动力学机制可将其分为多种模式,例如,点-点型簇发振荡和点-环型簇发振荡等.叉型滞后簇发振荡是由延迟叉型分岔诱发的一类具有简单动力学特性的点-点型簇发振荡.研究以多频参数激励Duffing系统为例,旨在揭示一类与延迟叉型分岔相关的具有复杂动力学特性的簇发振荡,即串联式叉型滞后簇发振荡.考虑了一个参激频率是另一个的整倍数情形,利用频率转换快慢分析法得到了多频参数激励Duffing系统的快子系统和慢变量,分析了快子系统的分岔行为.研究结果表明,快子系统可以产生两个甚至多个叉型分岔点;当慢变量穿越这些叉型分岔点时,形成了两个或多个叉型滞后簇发振荡;这些簇发振荡首尾相接,最终构成了所谓的串联式叉型滞后簇发振荡.此外,分析了参数对串联式叉型滞后簇发振荡的影响.   相似文献

In this paper, a nonlinear dynamic model of a quarter vehicle with nonlinear spring and damping is established. The dynamic characteristics of the vehicle system with external periodic excitation are theoretically investigated by the incremental harmonic balance method and Newmark method, and the accuracy of the incremental harmonic balance method is verified by comparing with the result of Newmark method. The influences of the damping coefficient, excitation amplitude and excitation frequency on the dynamic responses are analyzed. The results show that the vibration behaviors of the vehicle system can be control by adjusting appropriately system parameters with the damping coefficient, excitation amplitude and excitation frequency. The multi-valued properties, spur-harmonic response and hardening type nonlinear behavior are revealed in the presented amplitude-frequency curves. With the changing parameters, the transformation of chaotic motion, quasi-periodic motion and periodic motion is also observed. The conclusions can provide some available evidences for the design and improvement of the vehicle system.  相似文献
