In this paper, we study the existence, uniqueness and stability of the periodic solutions for fourth-order nonlinear nonhomogeneous periodic systems with slowly changing coefficients by using the method of Liapunor Function. We obtain some sufficient conditions which guarantee the existence, uniqueness and asymptotic stability of the periodic solutions of these systems and estimate the extent to which the coefficients are allowed to change.  相似文献

We study a Lotka–Volterra system with periodic coefficients and impulse action at fixed moments of time. This paper is concerned with the existence, uniqueness, and global stability of traveling waves in discrete periodic media for a system of ordinary differential equations exhibiting bistable dynamics. The main tools used to prove the uniqueness and asymptotic stability of traveling waves are the comparison principle, spectrum analysis, and constructions of super/subsolutions. To prove the existence of traveling waves, the system is converted to an integral equation which is common in the study of monostable dynamics but quite rare in the study of bistable dynamics. The main purpose of this paper is to introduce a general framework for the study of traveling waves in discrete periodic media.  相似文献

Lyuster-nik’s[1] asymptotic method and principle of fixed point of functional analysis, we study the singular perturbation of general boundary value problem for higher order quasilinear elliptic equation in the case of boundary perturbation combined with equation perturbation. We consider a scalar delay differential equation with a small parameter, and employ Walthers method to obtain a result on the existence and stability of a slowly oscillatory periodic solution that represents a refinement of the estimate for the Lipschitz constant of a returning map.
