Numerical investigations on the launch process of a projectile in a nearly realistic situation have been performed in this article. The Arbitrary Lagrangian–Eulerian (ALE) of Euler equations is solved by the AUSMDV scheme and the dynamic chimera grid technique are used for describing the moving of the projectile. Based on our numerical results, the muzzle blast flow field of the transient launch process of a projectile at a relative high Mach number of 3.0 has been visualized numerically, and the prominent characteristics including the propagation of first and second blast waves, the generation of bow shock wave and moving of the projectile, etc. have been discussed in detail.   相似文献

Experimental studies were carried out to investigate projectile acceleration in a single-stage gun at breech pressures below 50 MPa. The gun was driven by firing either liquid or solid propellant. In-bore projectile velocity was continuously recorded using the well-known, precise VISAR interferometer technique so that accurate projectile acceleration data could be deduced. Both the attained projectile acceleration and muzzle exit velocity depend upon the charge-to-mass ratio and the pressure at which the blow-out disk ruptures. The results obtained from these experiments render information on the interplay between propellant combustion and projectile acceleration for low in-bore pressure regimes, and they provide the input data required for adequate numerical simulation.  相似文献

基于ALE(Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian Equation)方程的有限体积法,采用高精度Roe方法及结构化动网格,利用嵌入网格技术及动边界条件,对弹丸由膛内高压气体推动射出到完全飞高初始流场的整个过程进行了数值模拟.根据数值结果绘制了膛口流场密度和压力分布的时序图,形象地再现了膛口流场中初始激波、弓形激波及膛口冲击波,以及接触闻断、漩涡和剪切层等的动力学发展过程.结果基本反映了膛口流场的典型变化特征,为进一步研究真实膛口流场(如带化学反应、湍流等)奠定了基础.  相似文献

本文使用严格二维的FCT算法数值模拟美国M16 5.36毫米自动步枪的非定常的轴对称膛口流场。用此方法不仅可得到膛口冲击波的发展过程,而且可得到不少数值方法不易得到的马赫盘的发展过程。本文计算结果与Schmidt的实验结果作了比较,二者吻合较好。这一结果为进一步开展更复杂(考虑弹丸、膛口制退器等)的膛口流场的数值模拟奠定了基础。  相似文献

为研究活塞回复运动对火药燃气流动的影响,基于两相流理论对活塞控制侧向后喷武器的发射过程进行了数值模拟研究。考虑控制侧向后喷通道开闭的活塞-弹簧系统的往复运动,建立了结合膛内气固两相流、活塞腔内流固耦合和侧向排气管内气体瞬态流动的武器发射过程数学模型,并将数值模拟结果与相关文献进行了比较验证。得到了该武器发射过程中膛内流场分布与稀疏波传播特性,并与普通武器的膛内流场进行了对比分析。进一步研究了活塞回复运动对火药燃气流动和减后坐效率的影响。结果表明:相对于不考虑活塞的回复运动,在弹丸初速都降低1.52%的情况下,因为活塞回复关闭后喷通道,其减后坐效率由38.86%下降到32.88%,说明在此类武器研究中,不可忽视活塞回复运动。  相似文献

The development of the swirling turbulent axisymmetric wake of a self-propelled body is modeled numerically. The flow pattern is calculated within the framework of the thin shear layer approach for nonclosed system of the motion and continuity equations. The closed system of equations is written for two different formulations of the closure relations. The numerical solution of the problem is performed with the use of the finite-difference algorithm realised on moving grids. The algorithm is conservative with respect to the laws of conservation of the momentum and the angular momentum. The experimentally measured distributions are used as the initial conditions. Both the models described agree well with the experimental data of Gavrilov N., Demenkov A., Kostomakha V., Chernykh G. (2000), Experimental and numerical modelling of turbulent wake behind self-propelled body, J. Appl. Mech. Tech. Phys., 41 (4), 619–627. It is demonstrated that at the large distances downstream from the body the solution of the problem approaches the self-similar one.  相似文献

采用轴对称多组分N-S方程对含有高速运动弹丸的膛口反应流进行了数值模拟.控制方程采用时间分裂方法并在大型计算机上采用MPI方法进行多核并行求解,其中对流项采用二阶AUSM+格式和MUSCL插值方法进行处理,燃气采用氢气-空气混合气,反应机理为9组分19步基元反应.对于弹丸引起的网格运动,采用嵌套网格法处理.并行验证算例与串行计算结果一致,采用20个CPU计算时效率为64%.根据数值结果详细讨论了发射过程中的气体动力学和化学动力学过程,并且通过对两种条件下的计算结果比较分析了化学反应对膛口流场发展的影响.结果表明,上述算法能够较为正确地模拟弹丸和化学反应对膛口流场的影响,并大大提高了计算速度.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

A numerical method is developed to simulate the process that a falling rigid sphere hits rigid ground and bounces back in air. The problem is treated as fluid-structure interaction problem based on the ALE finite element flow analysis. In order to introduce the numerical process of impact into the present staggered fluid-structure time marching algorithm, the impact force is applied to the equation of motion of the sphere. The magnitude of the impact force is determined by iteration so that the velocity of the sphere after impact converges to zero. Application of the impact force at a single time instant causes unphysical pressure oscillation. This has been suppressed by applying the impact force smoothly over multiple short time steps. In the present method impulse is evaluated instead of impact force. Computations with different density ratio of the sphere to air showed effect of the air on the sphere motion.  相似文献

The motion and state of soil at the interface with a penetrating rigid projectile is studied by numerical solution of the problem of a cylindrical projectile which expands and at the same time moves translationally along its axis in soil. The soil behavior is described using the model of a compressible elastoplastic medium with transition to a plastic state depending on the pressure in it. It is shown that a thin layer of soil at the interface with the projectile nose should be set in motion and move together with the projectile without sliding. An analysis is performed of the validity of using the dry friction law to determine the shear stresses on the projectile surface during penetration.
