量子纠缠是一种重要的量子资源,在多个空间分离的量子存储器间建立确定性的量子纠缠,然后在用户控制的时刻将所存储的量子纠缠转移到量子信道中进行信息的分发和传送,这对于实现量子信息网络是至关重要的.本文介绍了用光学参量放大器制备与铷原子D1吸收线对应的非经典光场,而且在三个空间分离的原子系综中确定性量子纠缠的产生、存储和转移.利用电磁感应透明光和原子相互作用的原理,将制备的多组分光场纠缠态模式映射到三个远距离的原子系综以建立原子自旋波之间的纠缠.然后,存储在原子系综中的纠缠态通过三个量子通道,纠缠态的量子噪声被转移到三束空间分离的正交纠缠光场.三束释放的光场间纠缠的存在验证了该系统具有保持多组分纠缠的能力.这个方案实现了三个量子节点间的纠缠,并且可以直接扩展到具有更多节点的量子网络,为未来实现大型量子网络通信奠定了基础.  相似文献

In quantum communication, the channel noise and the misalignment of the reference frames between the communication parties will lead to the failure of quantum state transmission. Here an alignment-free spatial-polarization hyperentanglement transmission scheme is provided for hyperentangled photons. In this scheme, before the spatial-polarization hyperentanglement is transmitted through the fiber channel, it is first encoded as a time-bin entanglement with the same polarization. After the photons pass through the noise channel, the polarization errors caused by reference frames misalignment and channel noise can be corrected by time-bin entanglement. In principle, by implementing this scheme, the communication parties can share the original hyperentangled state, and the success probability can approach unity. The scheme is robust to random channel noise and reference frames misalignment, and the decoherence effect caused by the misalignment of the reference frames between the communication parties can be completely suppressed by implementing this scheme.  相似文献

We present an efficient faithful polarization entanglement distribution protocol for W state over an arbitrary noise channel,which use the frequency degree of freedom to carry the entanglement during the transmission.We describe the transmission of three-photon W state as an example,and then generalize this scheme to n-qubit W state situation.The remote parties can obtain maximally entangled W states on the polarization of photons,and the success probability is 100% in principle.As there was few entanglement purification for W state,our scheme is an efficient and practical method to share W state entanglement between distant parties,which will be useful in quantum communication.We also show that our scheme can be used to distribute arbitrary multi-particle entangled state.  相似文献

We propose an efficient protocol for W polarization entangled state distribution over an arbitrary collective-noise channel with the help of the cross-Kerr nonlinearity. The entangled state in the frequency degree of freedom, which suffers little from the noise in an optical fiber, is used in the present protocol. The frequency entanglement can be transferred into polarization entanglement with the success probability of 100%. So, the three parities can share the maximally W polarization state with local operations and polarization independent wavelength division multiplexers which can erase distinguishability for frequency.  相似文献

量子纠缠浓缩可以将非最大的纠缠态转变为最大纠缠态,提高量子通信的安全性.本文基于圆偏振光和量子点-腔系统的相互作用,用一个单光子作为连接远距离纠缠光子对的桥梁,在理想条件下实现了光子偏振纠缠态的浓缩.计算结果显示,这个纠缠浓缩方案在考虑耦合强度和腔泄漏的情况下也可以保持较高的保真度,而且不需要知道部分纠缠态的初始信息,也不必重复执行纠缠浓缩过程.这不仅提高了量子纠缠浓缩的安全性,也有助于通过消耗最少的量子资源来实现高效的量子信息处理.  相似文献

We provide a detailed analysis of the dynamics of entanglement and quantum correlations for one-parameter qubit-qutrit states under independent or common classical noises influence. Namely the static noise, the Ornstein-Uhlenbeck (OU) noise and the random telegraph noise. Independently of the intrinsic features of the noises, entanglement measured by negativity and quantum correlations measured by measured-induced disturbance (MID) vanish after a finite time under the effects of independent noise environments. In a common environment setup, we show the existence of specific and very important features of perfect insulation of the systems quantum properties from noise effects, for suitable range of the entanglement parameter. We refer these phenomena to as frozen entanglement and frozen quantum correlations. The dichotomy between entanglement (separability) and quantum correlations is strengthened by our results, with the robustness of MID over entanglement and existence of separable qubit-qutrit states with non-zero quantum correlations.  相似文献

A deterministic entanglement concentration protocol (ECP) is demonstrated in a multipartite less-hyperentangled system, containing the simultaneous entanglements in polarization and frequency degrees of freedom. The motivation is that the entangled system in frequency degree of freedom suffers little from the effects of the channel noise in optical fibers. Consequently, a maximally entangled system can be generated in polarization degree of freedom from the multipartite less-hyperentangled system with cross-Kerr nonlinearity. Compared with the conventional ECPs that have success probabilities less than one while iterating their recursive entanglement concentration processes several times to achieve a maximally entangled system in polarization degree of freedom, the present ECP can generate a maximally entangled system in polarization degree of freedom in two steps with a certainty. It may be useful for enhancing the efficiency of communications in long-distance quantum computation networks.  相似文献

Single-particle entanglement refers to entanglement produced with a single particle. It can be generated by illuminating a beam splitter with a single photon. We describe experimental schemes to realize quantum teleportation and quantum key distribution utilizing single-particle entanglement, and discuss the strengths and drawbacks of the schemes compared with the standard scheme utilizing two-photon polarization states. We show, in particular, that the quantum key distribution scheme based on single-particle entanglement is associated with a relatively high value of the bits of information transferred per particle sent and can thus be cost effective.  相似文献

We extend recent theoretical studies of entanglement dynamics in the presence of environmental noise, following the long-time interest of Krzysztof Wodkiewicz in the effects of stochastic models of noise on quantum optical coherences. We investigate the quantum entanglement dynamics of two spins in the presence of classical Ornstein-Uhlenbeck noise, obtaining exact solutions for evolution dynamics. We consider how entanglement can be affected by non-Markovian noise, and discuss several limiting cases.  相似文献

We study the effects of Hawking radiation and bath temperature on quantum steering and entanglement for a two-mode Gaussian state exposed in the background of a black hole and immersed in the two independent thermal baths. We find that both the effects can destroy the quantum steering and entanglement. Quantum steering always exists sudden death for any Hawking temperature and any bath temperature, but entanglement does not in zero-temperature thermal bath. Both the Hawking radiation and the asymmetry of thermal baths can induce the asymmetry of quantum steering, but the latter effect is much weaker than the former. An unintuitive result is that the observer who stays in the Hawking radiation or in the thermal bath with higher temperature has more stronger steerability than the other one. We also find that Hawking radiation and thermal noise can change the asymptotic behavior of steering and entanglement versus the squeezing parameter.
