多阶游程长度受限(ML-RLL)编码可以在保持原有记录符尺寸和记录单元数量的情况下将CD光盘存储容量提高2.4倍。借助标量衍射理论建立了多阶游程长度受限记录符的计算模型,对采用多阶游程长度受限编码的CD光盘的读出信号进行了仿真分析。结果表明,记录坑长度的变化对读出信号幅值影响较小,有利于将记录坑长度和记录坑的宽度两个参数进行分离检测,但在3T长度、不同宽度的记录坑相连的情况下,从读出信号中很难分辨出记录符的分界位置。  相似文献

现有的光存储系统采用二值的记录模式,普遍使用的是游程长度受限(Run-length limited,RLL)的调制编码,并将信息编码记录在信息符的长度中。新型多阶RLL光存储采用多阶RLL编码方案,将信息同时记录在信息符的长度和信号幅值中,从而大幅度地提高了光盘的容量。为了研究多阶RLL编码的逻辑正确性和电路复杂度,设计了基于可编程逻辑器件的硬件平台。多阶RLL编码可以用有限数量逻辑门实现编码,有望用于未来高密度多阶光存储系统。  相似文献

多阶游程存储是一种不改变光学系统而显著提高光存储容量和数据传输率的新方法.介绍了光致变色多阶游程存储原理和实验系统.提出了基于光致变色原理的多阶游程存储数学模型,该模型反映了记录符反射率与曝光功率、曝光时间之间的非线性关系,并在此基础上确定了光致变色多阶游程存储的写策略.基于650nm光致变色材料进行了4阶游程存储的动态实验.结果表明,实验中采用的650nm光致变色材料可用于多阶游程存储,采用的写策略能够有效地使记录信道线性化,利于采用适合线性系统的信号处理方法. 关键词: 多阶游程 光致变色 光存储 写策略  相似文献

The advantages of read-only storage is the predominance of optical recording relative to magnetic and other rewritable methods. Multilevel (ML) read-only technology has been a trend to improve the data capacity and transfer rate. Based on the principle and coding method of ML, this paper demonstrates some ML read-only recording methods, of which a new ML read-only recording is developed. This recording method integrates amplitude modulation achieved by the reaction mechanism of physics and chemistry of photoresist with the run-length-limited technology. The discs can be achieved using standard photoresist mastering and replication techniques with great compatibility to conventional binary read-only discs.  相似文献

Multi-level run-length-limited read-only optical storage is a kind of high density storage method. The width and height of recording marks are varied with different levels, which is the key technology for the optical storage. Then the readout signal of these discs with complex recording marks is computed by vector analysis method, it is very hard and time-consuming. This study evaluates a novel holographic data storage (HDS) that uses a phase-only spatial light modulator (SLM) for the multilevel complex amplitude modulation of a signal beam and the transport of intensity equation (TIE) method to detect the signal beam without interferometry, to increase the capacity of the HDS, simplifying its optical system, and improving the stability of the signal beam modulation and detection. Both the amplitude and phase of the signal beam were modulated by a computer-generated hologram displayed in a phase-only SLM, a 4-f optical system, and a pinhole placed in the Fourier plane. The complex amplitude-modulated signal beam generated by this scheme does not always perfectly match the target complex amplitude, and deviations from the amplitude and phase of the target complex amplitude may exist. It is unclear whether the TIE method, which is sensitive to the state of the beam intensity and the phase distributions to be detected (such as zero-intensity points and phase discontinuities), can accurately detect a signal beam whose complex amplitude is modulated by the modulation scheme with a phase-only SLM. Here, we demonstrate via numerical simulations and experiments that several methods of complex amplitude generation using a phase-only SLM can achieve multilevel modulation of the amplitude and phase of a signal beam and are suitable for detection by the TIE method in HDS.

We report results of transient two-wave mixing (TWM) in Er-doped fibers with saturable absorption in a linear configuration of an adaptive interferometric vibrometer with essentially different powers of recording waves. The TWM signal modulation depth detected in the weak (reflected) wave was shown to be twice as strong as in the symmetric configuration with equal recording powers. In accordance with theoretical predictions, the experimentally observed TWM signal amplitude grew continuously with the fiber optical density in the whole investigated range of alpha(0)L approximately 0.2-4. At the recording wavelength 1492 nm it proved to be quite close to the theoretical limit of approximately alpha(0)L/2 for weakly absorbing fibers, and in 1-m-long fiber of high optical density reached maximal value of approximately 0.8. The TWM response time went down with the recording light power and for P(0) approximately 10 mW was in the submillisecond region.  相似文献

When the techniques of integrating the variation of the conventional DVD,the high-density multilevel run-length pit depth and width simultaneously are adopted to limited read-only optical storage method is achieved. The dynamic range of readout signal is greatly enlarged in comparison with keeping one parameter varied, and the recording levels number can be obviously increased. The discs can be manufactured using standard photoresist mastering and replication techniques with great compatibility to conventional binary read-only discs. Experimental results show that eight-level read-only optical disc can be realized and the capacity can be increased to 20 GB.  相似文献
