With symbolic computation, the Hirota method and Riemann theta function are employed to directly construct the periodic wave solutions for the Hirota-Satsuma equation for shallow water waves and Boiti-Leon-Manna- Pempinelli equation. Then, the corresponding figures of the periodic wave solutions are given. Fhrthermore, it is shown that the known soliton solutions can be reduced from the periodic wave solutions.  相似文献

Exact solutions to the shallow wave equation are studied based on the idea of the extended homoclinic test and bilinear method. Some explicit solutions, such as the one soliton solution, the doubly-periodic wave solution and the periodic solitary wave solutions, are obtained. In addition, the properties of the solutions are investigated.  相似文献

We present an F-expansion method for finding periodic wave solutions of nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics, which can be thought of as a concentration of extended Jacobi elliptic function expansion method proposed recently. By using the F-expansion, without calculating Jacobi elliptic functions, we obtain simultaneously many periodic wave solutions expressed by various Jacobi elliptic functions for the variant Boussinesq equations. When the modulus m approaches 1 and O, the hyperbolic function solutions (including the solitary wave solutions) and trigonometric solutions are also given respectively.  相似文献

The periodic wave solutions for the Zakharov system of nonlinear wave equations and a long-short-wave interaction system are obtained by using the F-expansion method, which can be regarded as an overall generalization of Jacobi elliptic function expansion proposed recently. In the limit cases, the solitary wave solutions for the systems are also obtained.  相似文献

The present work extends the search of Jacobi elliptic function solutions for the multi-component modified Korteweg-de Vries equations. When the modulum m →1, those periodic solutions degenerate as the corresponding solitary wave and shock wave ones. Especially, exact solutions for the three-component system are presented in detail and graphically.  相似文献

Solitary Wave Solutions of Triple Sine-Gordon Equation   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1       下载免费PDF全文
Through a mapping relation between the triple sine-Gordon and Ф5 model, we discuss the equation in detail. A series of solitary wave solutions for the triple sine-Gordon equation is obtained by the existing ones of the Ф5 model. Some detailed solitary wave solutions are given for some special coefficients which have significance in physics.  相似文献

A new generalized extended F-expansion method is presented for finding periodic wave solutions of nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics. As an application of this method, we study the (2+1)-dimensional dispersive long wave equation. With the aid of computerized symbolic computation, a number of doubly periodic wave solutions expressed by various Jacobi elliptic functions are obtained. In the limit cases, the solitary wave solutions are derived as well.  相似文献

In this letter, abundant families of Jacobi elliptic function envelope solutions of the N-coupled nonlinear Schroedinger (NLS) system are obtained directly. When the modulus m → 1, those periodic solutions degenerate as the corresponding envelope soliton solutions, envelope shock wave solutions. Especially, for the 3-coupled NLS system, five types of Jacobi elliptic function envelope solutions are illustrated both analytically and graphically. Two types of those degenerate as envelope soliton solutions.  相似文献

For describing various complex nonlinear phenomena in the realistic world, the higher-dimensional nonlinear evolution equations appear more attractive in many fields of physical and engineering sciences. In this paper, by virtue of the Hirota bilinear method and Riemann theta functions, the periodic wave solutions for the (2+1)-dimensional Boussinesq equation and (3+1)-dimensional Kadomtsev Petviashvili (KP) equation are obtained. Furthermore, it is shown that the known soliton solutions for the two equations can be reduced from the periodic wave solutions.  相似文献

By using the method of dynamical system, the bidirectional wave equations are considered. Based on this method, all kinds of phase portraits of the reduced travelling wave system in the parametric space are given. All possible bounded travelling wave solutions such as dark soliton solutions, bright soliton solutions and periodic travelling wave solutions are obtained. With the aid of Maple software, numerical simulations are conducted for dark soliton solutions, bright soliton solutions and periodic travelling wave solutions to the bidirectional wave equations. The results presented in this paper improve the related previous studies.  相似文献

Starting from an improved projective method and a linear variable separation approach, new families of variable separation solutions (including solltary wave solutlons, periodic wave solutions and rational function solutions) with arbitrary functions [or the (2+ 1)-dimensional general/zed Broer-Kaup (GBK) system are derived. Usually, in terms of solitary wave solutions and/or rational function solutions, one can find abundant important localized excitations. However, based on the derived periodic wave solution in this paper, we reveal some complex wave excitations in the (2+1)-dimensional GBK system, which describe solitons moving on a periodic wave background. Some interesting evolutional properties for these solitary waves propagating on the periodic wave bactground are also briefly discussed.  相似文献

A unified approach is presented for finding the travelling wave solutions to one kind of nonlinear evolution equation by introducing a concept of "rank". The key idea of this method is to make use of the arbitrariness of the manifold in Painleve analysis. We selected a new expansion variable and thus obtained a rich variety of travelling wave solutions to nonlinear evolution equation, which covered solitary wave solutions, periodic wave solutions, Weierstrass elliptic function solutions, and rational solutions. Three illustrative equations are investigated by this means, and abundant travelling wave solutions are obtained in a systematic way. In addition, some new solutions are firstly reported here.  相似文献

Bessel solitary wave solutions to a two-dimensional strongly nonlocal nonlinear Schrödinger equation with distributed coefficients are obtained. Bessel solitary wave solutions have unique characteristics compared with Gaussian solitary wave solutions, Laguerre-Gaussian solitary wave solutions, and Hermite-Gaussian solitary wave solutions. The generalized two-dimensional nonlocal nonlinear Schrödinger equation with distributed coefficients is investigated for the first time to our knowledge.  相似文献

The theory of bifurcations for dynamical system is employed to construct new exact solutions of the generalized nonlinear Schrödinger equation. Firstly, the generalized nonlinear Schrödinger equation was converted into ordinary differential equation system by using traveling wave transform. Then, the system's Hamiltonian, orbits phases diagrams are found. Finally, six families of solutions are constructed by integrating along difference orbits, which consist of Jacobi elliptic function solutions, hyperbolic function solutions, trigonometric function solutions, solitary wave solutions, breaking wave solutions, and kink wave solutions.  相似文献

We make use of Jacobi elliptic functions to construct periodic wave solutions for the dispersive long wave equations. In the limit cases the multiple soliton solutions are also obtained. The properties of some periodic and soliton solutions for the dispersive long wave equations are shown by some figures. As a result, we can successfully obtain the solitary wave solutions that can be found by the previous work.  相似文献

The Jacobi elliptic function expansion method is extended to derive the explicit periodic wave solutions for nonlinear differential-difference equations. Three well-known examples are chosen to illustrate the application of the Jacobi elliptic function expansion method. As a result, three types of periodic wave solutions including Jacobi elliptic sine function, Jacobi elliptic cosine function and the third elliptic function solutions are obtained. It is shown that the shock wave solutions and solitary wave solutions can be obtained at their limit condition.  相似文献
