The third-order elastic modulus of α-Fe were calculated based on the computation of lattice sums. The lattice sums were determined using an integer rational basis of invariants composed by vectors connecting equilibrium atomic positions in the crystal lattice. Irreducible interactions within clusters consisting of atomic pairs and triplets were taken into account in performing the calculations. Comparison with experimental data showed that the potential can be written in the form of e9 = - ?i,k A19 rik - 6 + ?i,k A29 rik - 12 + ?i,k,l Q9 I9 - 1\varepsilon _9 = - \sum\nolimits_{i,k} {A_{19} r_{ik}^{ - 6} } + \sum\nolimits_{i,k} {A_{29} r_{ik}^{ - 12} + \sum\nolimits_{i,k,l} {Q_9 I_9^{ - 1} } }, where I9 = [(r)\vec]ik2 [ ( [(r)\vec]ik [(r)\vec]kl )2 + ( [(r)\vec]li [(r)\vec]ik )2 ] + [(r)\vec]kl2 [ ( [(r)\vec]ik [(r)\vec]kl )2 + ( [(r)\vec]kl [(r)\vec]li )2 ] + [(r)\vec]li2 [ ( [(r)\vec]li [(r)\vec]ik )2 + ( [(r)\vec]kl [(r)\vec]li )2 ]I_9 = \vec r_{ik}^2 \left[ {\left( {\vec r_{ik} \vec r_{kl} } \right)^2 + \left( {\vec r_{li} \vec r_{ik} } \right)^2 } \right] + \vec r_{kl}^2 \left[ {\left( {\vec r_{ik} \vec r_{kl} } \right)^2 + \left( {\vec r_{kl} \vec r_{li} } \right)^2 } \right] + \vec r_{li}^2 \left[ {\left( {\vec r_{li} \vec r_{ik} } \right)^2 + \left( {\vec r_{kl} \vec r_{li} } \right)^2 } \right]. If the values of [(r)\vec]ik\vec r_{ik} are scaled in half-lattice constant units, then A19 = 1.22 ë t9 û GPa, A29 = 5.07 ×102 ë t15 û GPa, Q9 = 5.31 ë t9 û GPaA_{19} = 1.22\left\lfloor {\tau ^9 } \right\rfloor GPa, A_{29} = 5.07 \times 10^2 \left\lfloor {\tau ^{15} } \right\rfloor GPa, Q_9 = 5.31\left\lfloor {\tau ^9 } \right\rfloor GPa, and τ = 1.26 ?. It is shown that the condition of thermodynamic stability of a crystal requires that we allow for irreducible interactions in atom triplets in at least four coordination spheres. The analytical expressions for the lattice sums determining the contributions from irreducible interactions in the atom triplets to the second- and third-order elastic moduli of cubic crystals in the case of interactions determined by I 9 are presented in the appendix.  相似文献

We extend a recent calculation of the nuclear energy density functional in the framework of chiral perturbation theory by computing the isovector surface and spin-orbit terms: ([(?)\vec] rp - [(?)\vec] rn\vec \nabla \rho _p - \vec \nabla \rho _n )2 G d(r \rho) + ([(?)\vec] rp - [(?)\vec] rn\vec \nabla \rho _p - \vec \nabla \rho _n ·([(J)\vec]p - [(J)\vec]n\vec J_p - \vec J_n )G so(r \rho) + ([(J)\vec]p - [(J)\vec]n\vec J_p - \vec J_n )2 G J(r \rho) pertaining to different proton and neutron densities. Our calculation treats systematically the effects from 1p \pi -exchange, iterated 1p \pi -exchange, and irreducible 2p \pi -exchange with intermediate D \Delta -isobar excitations, including Pauli-blocking corrections up to three-loop order. Using an improved density-matrix expansion, we obtain results for the strength functions G d(r \rho) , G so(r \rho) and G J(r \rho) which are considerably larger than those of phenomenological Skyrme forces. These (parameter-free) predictions for the strength of the isovector surface and spin-orbit terms as provided by the long-range pion-exchange dynamics in the nuclear medium should be examined in nuclear structure calculations at large neutron excess.  相似文献

Anisotropy in the angular distributions of cascade-evaporation neutrons in center-of-mass systems emitting their fission fragments is analyzed in the context of the quantum theory of fission. It is emphasized that such anisotropy is caused not by bending but by wriggling oscillations of the fissioning nucleus in the vicinity of its point of scission; these lead to the appearance of high-value spins of primary fission fragments [(J)\vec]1\vec J_1 and [(J)\vec]2\vec J_2 oriented in a plane perpendicular to direction [(n)\vec]0\vec n_0 of the axis of symmetry of the fissioning nucleus at the instant of scission. This direction coincides with the asymptotic direction of the emission of fission fragments with a high degree of accuracy. The analytical dependences of the anisotropy coefficient on the orbital momentum l and total spin j in angular distributions of cascade-evaporation neutrons are calculated using the methods developed in analyzing angular distributions of cascade-evaporation gamma quanta. The proper spin of a neutron is shown to have almost no effect on the aforesaid anisotropy coefficient due to the weak dependence of the neutron transmission coefficient T lj ([`(e)]\bar \varepsilon ) on the values of j.  相似文献

Within the framework of nonrelativistic QED, we prove that, for small values of the coupling constant, the energy function, ${E_{\vec{P}}}Within the framework of nonrelativistic QED, we prove that, for small values of the coupling constant, the energy function, E[(P)\vec]{E_{\vec{P}}}, of a dressed electron is twice differentiable in the momentum [(P)\vec]{\vec{P}} in a neighborhood of [(P)\vec]=0{\vec{P}=0}. Furthermore, \frac?2E[(P)\vec](?|[(P)\vec]|)2{\frac{\partial^2E_{\vec{P}}}{(\partial |\vec{P}|)^2}} is bounded from below by a constant larger than zero. Our results are proven with the help of iterative analytic perturbation theory.  相似文献

Rutile filled PTFE composites have been fabricated through Sigma Mixing, Extrusion, Calendering and Hot pressing (SMECH) process. Dielectric constant (er¢\varepsilon_{r}') and loss tangent (tan δ) of filled composites at microwave frequency region were measured by waveguide cavity perturbation technique using a Vector Network Analyzer. The temperature coefficient of dielectric constant (ter\tau_{\varepsilon_{r}'}) was measured in the 0–100°C temperature range. In order to tailor the temperature coefficient of dielectric constant of the composite, thermoplastic Poly (ether ether ketone) (PEEK) has been used as a secondary polymer. Flexible laminate having a dielectric constant, er¢ ~ 10.4\varepsilon_{r}'\sim10.4, loss tangent tan δ∼0.0045 and ter ~ -40 ppm/K\tau_{\varepsilon_{r}'}\sim-40\mbox{ ppm}/\mbox{K} was realized in Polytetrafluroethylene (PTFE)/rutile composites with the addition of 8 wt% PEEK. The reduction in ter\tau_{\varepsilon_{r}'} is mainly attributed to the positive ter\tau_{\varepsilon_{r}'} of PEEK and increased interface region in the composites as a result of the PEEK addition.  相似文献

Two phenomenological models of Λ, viz. L ~ ([(a)\dot]/a)2\Lambda \sim (\dot{a}/a)^{2} and L ~ [(a)\ddot]/a\Lambda \sim \ddot{a}/a are studied under the assumption that G is a time-variable parameter. Both models show that G is inversely proportional to time as suggested earlier by others including Dirac. The models considered here can be matched with observational results by properly tuning the parameters of the models. Our analysis shows that L ~ [(a)\ddot]/a\Lambda \sim \ddot{a}/a model corresponds to a repulsive situation and hence correlates with the present status of the accelerating Universe. The other model L ~ ([(a)\dot]/a)2\Lambda \sim (\dot{a}/a)^{2} is, in general, attractive in nature. Moreover, it is seen that due to the combined effect of time-variable Λ and G the Universe evolved with acceleration as well as deceleration. This later one indicates a Big Crunch.  相似文献

Spin density matrices of neutron resonance states of a compound nucleus formed in the reaction of capture of a polarized neutron by a non-oriented target nucleus for different directions of neutron polarization vector are constructed within the quantum fission theory. The obtained spin matrices are used to calculate T-odd asymmetries in differential cross sections of ternary nuclear fission with the emission of different third particles. It is demonstrated that the expressions for T-odd asymmetries in the cases of neutron polarization direction [(p)\vec]n\vec p_n along the x and y axes in the laboratory reference frame differ by the values of the unified correlator of the form ( [(p)\vec]n ,[ [(k)\vec]LF ,[(k)\vec]3 ] )\left( {\vec p_n ,\left[ {\vec k_{LF} ,\vec k_3 } \right]} \right) (where [(k)\vec]LF\vec k_{LF} and [(k)\vec]3\vec k_3 are the wave vectors of a light fission fragment and the third particle, respectively), and are transformed into one another if the laboratory reference frame in which [(p)\vec]n\vec p_n is directed along the x axis is rotated to a laboratory reference frame in which [(p)\vec]n\vec p_n is directed along the y axis. It is shown that T-odd TRI and ROT asymmetries are associated, respectively, with the odd and even components of the amplitudes of the angular distribution of third particles perturbed by the collective rotation of a polarized fissile nucleus, and each of these amplitudes can be considerably amplified (or suppressed) relative to one another due to the interference from fission amplitudes of pairs of neutron resonances sJ s and sJ s′ .  相似文献

We study the interference of resonant Higgs boson exchange in neutralino production in m+ m-\mu^ + \mu^- annihilation with longitudinally polarized beams. We use the energy distribution of the decay lepton in the process [(c)\tilde]0j ? l± [(l)\tilde]\tilde{\chi}^0_j \to \ell^{\pm} \tilde{\ell}^\mp to determine the polarization of the neutralinos. In the CP-conserving minimal supersymmetric standard model a non-vanishing asymmetry in the lepton energy spectrum is caused by the interference of Higgs boson exchange channels with different CP-eigenvalues. The contribution of this interference is large if the heavy neutral bosons H and A are nearly degenerate. We show that the asymmetry can be used to determine the couplings of the neutral Higgs bosons to the neutralinos. In particular, the asymmetry allows one to determine the relative phase of the couplings. We find large asymmetries and cross sections for a set of reference scenarios with nearly degenerate neutral Higgs bosons.  相似文献

In case of chiral U A(1) symmetry restoration the mass of the h¢ \eta{^\prime} boson (the ninth, would-be Goldstone boson) is decreased, thus its production cross-section is heavily enhanced. The h¢ \eta{^\prime} decays (through one of its decay channels) into five low-momentum pions. These pions will not contribute to measured Bose-Einstein correlations, thus the production enhancement changes the strength of two-pion correlation functions at low momentum. Preliminary results on Bose-Einstein correlation functions support the mass decrease of the h¢ \eta{^\prime} boson. In this paper we propose a method to select pions originating from h¢ \eta{^\prime} decays. We investigate the efficiency of the proposed kinematical cut in several collision systems and energies with several simulators. We prove that our method can be used in all investigated collision systems.  相似文献

A five dimensional Kaluza-Klein space-time is considered in the presence of a perfect fluid source with variable G and Λ. An expanding universe is found by using a relation between the metric potential and an equation of state. The gravitational constant is found to decrease with time as Gt −(1−ω) whereas the variation for the cosmological constant follows as Λ∼t −2, L ~ ([(R)\dot]/R)2\Lambda \sim (\dot{R}/R)^{2} and L ~ [(R)\ddot]/R\Lambda \sim \ddot{R}/R where ω is the equation of state parameter and R is the scale factor.  相似文献

Infrared asymptotic behavior of a scalar field, passively advected by a random shear flow, is studied by means of the field theoretic renormalization group and the operator product expansion. The advecting velocity is Gaussian, white in time, with correlation function of the form μ d(t-t¢) / k^d-1+x\propto\delta(t-t') / k_{\bot}^{d-1+\xi}, where k =|k | and k is the component of the wave vector, perpendicular to the distinguished direction (‘direction of the flow’)—the d-dimensional generalization of the ensemble introduced by Avellaneda and Majda (Commun. Math. Phys. 131:381, 1990). The structure functions of the scalar field in the infrared range exhibit scaling behavior with exactly known critical dimensions. It is strongly anisotropic in the sense that the dimensions related to the directions parallel and perpendicular to the flow are essentially different. In contrast to the isotropic Kraichnan’s rapid-change model, the structure functions show no anomalous (multi)scaling and have finite limits when the integral turbulence scale tends to infinity. On the contrary, the dependence of the internal scale (or diffusivity coefficient) persists in the infrared range. Generalization to the velocity field with a finite correlation time is also obtained. Depending on the relation between the exponents in the energy spectrum E μ k^1-e\mathcal{E} \propto k_{\bot}^{1-\varepsilon} and in the dispersion law w μ k^2-h\omega\propto k_{\bot}^{2-\eta}, the infrared behavior of the model is given by the limits of vanishing or infinite correlation time, with the crossover at the ray η=0, ε>0 in the εη plane. The physical (Kolmogorov) point ε=8/3, η=4/3 lies inside the domain of stability of the rapid-change regime; there is no crossover line going through this point.  相似文献

We study the two-dimensional Gross-Pitaevskii theory of a rotating Bose gas in a disc-shaped trap with Dirichlet boundary conditions, generalizing and extending previous results that were obtained under Neumann boundary conditions. The focus is on the energy asymptotics, vorticity and qualitative properties of the minimizers in the parameter range |log ε|≪Ωε −2|log ε|−1 where Ω is the rotational velocity and the coupling parameter is written as ε −2 with ε≪1. Three critical speeds can be identified. At \varOmega = \varOmegac1 ~ |loge|\varOmega=\varOmega_{\mathrm{c_{1}}}\sim |\log\varepsilon| vortices start to appear and for |loge| << \varOmega < \varOmegac2 ~ e-1|\log\varepsilon|\ll\varOmega< \varOmega_{\mathrm{c_{2}}}\sim \varepsilon^{-1} the vorticity is uniformly distributed over the disc. For \varOmega 3 \varOmega c2\varOmega\geq\varOmega _{\mathrm{c_{2}}} the centrifugal forces create a hole around the center with strongly depleted density. For Ωε −2|log ε|−1 vorticity is still uniformly distributed in an annulus containing the bulk of the density, but at \varOmega = \varOmegac3 ~ e-2|loge|-1\varOmega=\varOmega_{\mathrm {c_{3}}}\sim\varepsilon ^{-2}|\log\varepsilon |^{-1} there is a transition to a giant vortex state where the vorticity disappears from the bulk. The energy is then well approximated by a trial function that is an eigenfunction of angular momentum but one of our results is that the true minimizers break rotational symmetry in the whole parameter range, including the giant vortex phase.  相似文献

Recent observations on Type-Ia supernovae and low density (Ω m =0.3) measurement of matter including dark matter suggest that the present-day universe consists mainly of repulsive-gravity type ‘exotic matter’ with negative-pressure often said ‘dark energy’ (Ω x =0.7). But the nature of dark energy is mysterious and its puzzling questions, such as why, how, where and when about the dark energy, are intriguing. In the present paper the authors attempt to answer these questions while making an effort to reveal the genesis of dark energy and suggest that ‘the cosmological nuclear binding energy liberated during primordial nucleo-synthesis remains trapped for a long time and then is released free which manifests itself as dark energy in the universe’. It is also explained why for dark energy the parameter w=-\frac23w=-\frac{2}{3} . Noting that w=1 for stiff matter and w=\frac13w=\frac{1}{3} for radiation; w=-\frac23w=-\frac{2}{3} is for dark energy because “−1” is due to ‘deficiency of stiff-nuclear-matter’ and that this binding energy is ultimately released as ‘radiation’ contributing “ +\frac13+\frac{1}{3} ”, making w=-1+\frac13=-\frac23w=-1+\frac{1}{3}=-\frac{2}{3} . When dark energy is released free at Z=80, w=-\frac23w=-\frac{2}{3} . But as on present day at Z=0 when the radiation-strength-fraction (δ), has diminished to δ→0, the w=-1+d\frac13=-1w=-1+\delta\frac{1}{3}=-1 . This, almost solves the dark-energy mystery of negative pressure and repulsive-gravity. The proposed theory makes several estimates/predictions which agree reasonably well with the astrophysical constraints and observations. Though there are many candidate-theories, the proposed model of this paper presents an entirely new approach (cosmological nuclear energy) as a possible candidate for dark energy.  相似文献

We address the typical strengths of hadronic parity-violating three-nucleon interactions in “pion-less” Effective Field Theory (EFT) in the nucleon-deuteron (iso-doublet) system. By analysing the superficial degree of divergence of loop diagrams, we conclude that no such interactions are needed at leading order, O(eQ-1)\ensuremath {O}(\epsilon Q^{-1}) . The only two distinct parity-violating three-nucleon structures with one derivative mix 2S\frac12\ensuremath ^2S_{\frac{1}{2}} and 2P\frac12\ensuremath ^2P_{\frac{1}{2}} waves with iso-spin transitions D \Delta I = 0 or 1. Due to their structure, they cannot absorb any divergence ostensibly appearing at next-to-leading order, O(eQ0)\ensuremath {O}(\epsilon Q^0) . This observation is based on the approximate realisation of Wigner’s combined SU(4) spin-isospin symmetry in the two-nucleon system, even when effective-range corrections are included. Parity-violating three-nucleon interactions thus only appear beyond next-to-leading order. This guarantees renormalisability of the theory to that order without introducing new, unknown coupling constants and allows the direct extraction of parity-violating two-nucleon interactions from three-nucleon experiments.  相似文献

In this paper, two modified Ricci models are considered as the candidates of unified dark matter–dark energy. In model one, the energy density is given by rMR=3Mpl(aH2+b[(H)\dot])\rho_{\mathrm{MR}}=3M_{\mathrm{pl}}(\alpha H^{2}+\beta\dot{H}), whereas, in model two, by rMR=3Mpl(\fraca6 R+g[(H)\ddot]H-1)\rho_{\mathrm{MR}}=3M_{\mathrm{pl}}(\frac{\alpha}{6} R+\gamma\ddot{H}H^{-1}). We find that they can explain both dark matter and dark energy successfully. A constant equation of state of dark energy is obtained in model one, which means that it gives the same background evolution as the wCDM model, while model two can give an evolutionary equation of state of dark energy with the phantom divide line crossing in the near past.  相似文献

A Coulomb-modified matrix of scattering amplitudes (an [(F)\tilde]\tilde F matrix) is considered for the case of two coupled channels of elastic scattering of charged particles with different orbital angular momenta (l 1 and l 2 = l 1 + 2). Matrix elements of the [(F)\tilde]\tilde F matrix are expressed in terms of the matrix elements of a [(K)\tilde] - 1\tilde K^{ - 1} matrix inverse to a modified reaction K matrix. The elements of the [(K)\tilde] - 1\tilde K^{ - 1} matrix are written as expansions that are generalizations of single-channel effective range expansion with allowance for the Coulomb interaction. If a system of colliding particles involves a bound state, the analytic continuation of these expansions into the region of negative energies makes it possible to obtain both the position of the pole corresponding to the bound state and the scattering amplitude residues in this pole, in terms of which the corresponding vertex constants and asymptotic normalization coefficients are expressed.  相似文献

The analytical potential energy function of HDO is constructed at first using the many-body expansion method. The reaction dynamics of O+HD(v = 0,j = 0) in five product channels are all studied by quasi-classical trajectory(QCT) method. The results show that the long-lived complex compound HDO is the dominant product at low collision energy. With increasing collision energy,O+HD → OH+D and O+HD → OD+H exchange reactions will occur with remarkable characteristics, such as near threshold energies, different reaction probabilities, and different reaction cross sections, implying the isotopic effect between H and D.With further increasing collision energy(e.g.,up to 502.08 kJ/mol),O+HD → O+H+D will occur and induce the complete dissociation into single O,H,and D atoms.  相似文献

It is demonstrated that the formation of the fissile nucleus prescission configuration with two fission prefragments connected by a neck is possible only with the simultaneous appearance of high values of relative orbital moments [(L)\vec]\vec L of the abovementioned prefragments, independently of their form. It is found that conservation of the fissile nucleus spin when its values are low leads to the formation of high values of prefragment spins [(J)\vec]1\vec J_1, [(J)\vec]2\vec J_2 that are oriented antiparallel to the moment [(L)\vec]\vec L and perpendicular to the fissile nucleus symmetry axis. It is shown that for two deformed fission prefragments, the pumping mechanism of high values of their relative moments [(L)\vec]\vec L and spins [(J)\vec]1\vec J_1, [(J)\vec]2\vec J_2 is due to the combined influence of bending- and wriggling- vibrations, the latter predominating. It is found that the high values of spherical fission prefragments are not related to thermal excitations but is determined by the excitation of the initial high-spin double quasiparticle states, due to the nonadiabatic collective deformation motion of the fissile nucleus in the vicinity of its rupture point.  相似文献

We have studied the dynamics of photoexcited tungsten cluster anions Wn-\mathrm{W}_{n}^{-} (n=3,4,…,14) by means of time-resolved two-photon photodetachment spectroscopy. At an excitation energy of h ν pump=1.56 eV the photoinduced dynamics is mainly dominated by fast electronic relaxation processes. For the smallest clusters, i.e., W3-\mathrm{W}_{3}^{-}, W4-\mathrm{W}_{4}^{-}, and W5-\mathrm{W}_{5}^{-}, individual relaxation channels have been identified and resolved on a timescale well below 100 fs. The time constants for the decay of nascent and secondary electrons have been deduced from a Bloch model. Complete thermalization takes place for all clusters on a timescale of ∼1 ps.  相似文献
