宽带脉冲在钕玻璃放大器中传输时,由于受到增益窄化和增益饱和效应的影响,脉冲频谱将受到调制,从而产生边带丢失或者频谱两侧失衡,进而导致脉冲时间波形产生调制。针对不同的宽带光源模型,数值模拟了放大器输出波形的幅度调制,分析了增益带宽、输入脉冲带宽及增益曲线中心波长相对输入脉冲中心波长的偏差等因素对输出脉冲调制度的影响。结果表明:不同的宽带光源脉冲经过钕玻璃放大器后,均会产生不同程度的幅度调制;啁啾堆积脉冲比正弦相位调制脉冲产生的幅度调制小。  相似文献

针对多程放大过程中激光脉冲经腔镜折返前后沿交叠的问题,建立了激光脉冲在增益介质中前后沿相干叠加放大的物理模型.理论分析表明,脉冲前后沿完全相干叠加形成驻波场,使得反转粒子数出现烧孔效应,影响输出脉冲的增益和波形.基于此物理模型,模拟计算了脉冲在多程放大过程中波形的演化,比较了不交叠、完全非相干叠加和完全相干叠加三种情况下对放大器的增益和对脉冲波形的影响.为高功率固体激光器的设计提供指导.  相似文献

 在考虑了光参量啁啾脉冲放大中的脉冲波形、相位失配和时间同步抖动情况下,给出了计算光参量啁啾脉冲放大增益特性更为完善的三波耦合理论模型。并在1 ns的时间同步抖动情况下,对比分析了光参量放大在小信号放大及饱和放大时的增益稳定性。光参量放大的时间同步抖动对增益影响非常大,使放大信号光脉冲的增益光谱发生了明显的偏移,波形不对称和整个增益降低;并且信号光光谱越宽,光参量放大间的时间同步抖动对其增益影响越严重;但随着参量放大增益饱和的出现和加深,信号光和抽运光之间的同步时间抖动对放大信号光的输出强度影响减弱,即在饱和放大处可以获得更稳定的放大信号光输出。  相似文献

利用非线性薛定谔方程,详细研究了放大介质的增益窄化和增益饱和效应对超短脉冲在放大介质传输特性的影响,以及传输过程中B积分的影响.在此基础上,对超短脉冲放大系统的逆问题进行了研究,即在给定放大系统参数和满足物理实验要求的输出脉冲波形前提下,求出相应的输入脉冲波形.  相似文献

物理实验对神光Ⅱ装置的输出脉冲波形有很高的精度要求。对于单色光,通常做法是利用增益通量曲线反演激光链路获得注入波形,该方法在求解高通量或复杂波形时的精度比较差,甚至对宽带脉冲失效。针对不同输出通量,提出了智能算法和增益通量曲线的分层使用策略并应用于神光Ⅱ全链路的波形反演,混合算法的计算精度理论上取决于采样点数目。通过模拟仿真验证了混合算法具有稳定性好、精度高和收敛快的特点。  相似文献

对重复周期小于载流子寿命的重复脉冲注入的情况,从速率方程出发,用分段模型对半导体光放大器的皮秒增益和折射率非线性进行了数值模拟,给出了重复脉冲注入下输出光脉冲时域波形的畸变、注入光脉冲引起的增益和相位变化,输出光脉冲上的频率啁啾随注入脉冲数增加的变化,以及归零光信号码流引起的增益和相位变化。  相似文献

构建了输出电压幅值为0~20 kV、脉冲重复频率为0.25~20 kHz的双极性高压脉冲电源实验平台,研究了变压器寄生参数与负载特性对输出脉冲波形的影响。采用等效电路复频域解析方法,分析了变压器寄生参数对输出脉冲波形的上升沿、平顶及下降沿的影响规律,并通过改变变压器绕线方案间接验证。发现变压器分布电容和漏感越大,输出脉冲波形上升沿与下降沿越平缓,过冲电压幅值越大,并采用脉冲变压器二次侧均匀密绕、一次侧均匀疏绕、高匝数的方案进行优化。进一步分析了纯阻性、阻容性或阻感性负载特性对输出高压脉冲波形的影响规律,发现电阻值增大(5~50 kΩ),过冲电压幅值增大,脉冲上升沿和下降沿变陡;当负载电阻回路串联小电容时,过冲电压幅值显著增大,而电容值高于一定值时输出脉冲波形恢复至与纯电阻波形一样;当负载电阻回路串联电感时,输出脉冲波形下降沿变平缓。  相似文献

针对光参量啁啾脉冲放大的逆问题,即如何在给定输出信号光脉冲波形的前提下,通过计算得到输入信号光脉冲波形,提出了相应的计算模型和方法.以分步傅里叶变换和四阶龙格-库塔法为基础,通过数值拟合等方法,建立了输入-输出信号光强之间的定量关系.分别以预期输出信号光脉冲为啁啾高斯脉冲以及具有特定形状的整形脉冲为例,通过逆算得到了相应的输入信号光脉冲波形.研究结果表明,该逆算方法具有原理简单、计算快速准确等优点,可为激光脉冲整形设计提供参考. 关键词: 光参量啁啾脉冲放大 逆问题 啁啾脉冲 脉冲整形  相似文献

在传统独立双池结构的受激布里渊相位共轭镜系统中,引入修整放大池,采用主放大池与修整放大池相结合的双布里渊放大池放大控制脉冲波形.主放大池控制脉冲的整体波形,而修整放大池对脉冲波形,特别是脉冲前沿进行微调.修整放大池池长对双布里渊放大池放大控制脉冲波形的影响进行了理论研究和实验验证,得到了不同情况下脉冲波形随双池间距的变化规律.研究表明修整放大池池长决定放大光前沿的放大效率,是控制脉冲波形的重要参量.  相似文献

A theoretical analysis of noise in a high-power cascaded fiber amplifier is presented. Unlike the noise theory in low power communication, the noise of a high power system is redefined as the leaked output energy between pulses with coherent beat noise uncounted. This definition is more appropriate for high power usage in which the pulse energy receives more attention than the pulse shape integrity. Then the low power pre-amplifying stages are considered as linear amplification and analyzed by linear theory. In the high-power amplification stages, the inversion is assumed to recover linearly in the time interval between pulses. The time shape of the output pulse is different from that of the input signal because of different gains at the front and back ends of the pulse. Then, a criterion is provided to distinguish the nonlinear and linear amplifications based on the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) analysis. Then, an experiment that shows that the output SNR actually drops off in nonlinear amplification is performed. The change in the noise factor can be well evaluated by pulse shape distortion.  相似文献

We describe the virtues of the pump–probe approach for controlled supercontinuum generation in nonlinear media, using the example of pulse compression by cross-phase modulation in dielectrics. Optimization of a strong (pump) pulse and a weak (probe) pulse at the input into the medium opens the route to effective control of the supercontinuum phases at the output. We present an approximate semi-analytical approach which describes nonlinear transformation of the input pulse into the output pulse. It shows how the input and the output chirps are connected via a time-warp transformation which is almost independent of the shape of the probe pulse. We then show how this transformation can be used to optimize the supercontinuum generation to produce nearly single-cycle pulses tunable from mid-infrared to ultraviolet. 采用聚酯薄膜为绝缘材料,设计了一种小型化便携式层绕Blumlein线,其主要特点是采用S型层绕的方法对薄膜介质平板Blumlein线进行绕制,使形成线的体积小,结构紧凑,有利于脉冲功率源小型化、实用化的发展。其集成了薄膜电容器易卷绕、耐高压、储能强的优势,同时具备了传输线的特点。采用气体火花间隙开关,对S型薄膜介质脉冲形成线的耐压特性及负载输出波形进行了实验研究。结果表明:开关的导通特性对脉冲形成线的负载输出波形有很大的影响,开关电感及开关抖动等因素会影响脉冲波形的前后沿,使输出脉冲方波波形质量变差。采用PSpice软件对实验等效电路进行了模拟,得到了与实验一致的结果。设计的Blumlein线体积为50 cm18 cm12 cm,承载电压50 kV,负载输出脉冲上升沿50 ns,平顶宽度120 ns。  相似文献

基于描述脉冲放大过程的时间相关非线性辐射迁移方程,对不同形状脉冲经掺镱光纤放大器传输后的功率特性进行了分析,该方程同时考虑了光与介质的相互作用.数值结果表明,在相同的脉冲能量下,不同形状脉冲经放大器放大后的功率增益随入射脉冲形状不同而不同,并且功率增益的差异在脉冲前沿比较大.这使得放大器输出脉冲峰值向前沿的偏移量以及峰值功率的放大倍数都与脉冲形状有关.尤其是当入射脉冲的能量较大时,不同形状脉冲的峰值功率的放大倍数明显不同,以超高斯脉冲为最大,高斯脉冲、双曲正割脉冲次之,洛伦兹脉冲最小.  相似文献

Using a method more extensively described previously by Cozannet, Threheux and Bouillie, we show how, under simplifying hypotheses on losses, geometrical optics allows to compute the output pulse shape of an optical fiber knowing the input pulse, and some parameters of the light source and fiber.Some examples describe the influence of a rotation of the source and of the index law for graded index fibers on the output pulse shape.  相似文献

Cascaded sum-frequency-generation (SFG) and difference-frequency-generation (DFG) can implement a wavelength conversion between arbitrary combinations of input and output signal wavelengths. By using a tunable wavelength pump light, the output wavelength can be tuned to a desired wavelength. As in many wavelength conversion devices using the nonlinear optical effect, the group velocity difference between light pulses with different wavelength causes a walk-off effect deforming the output pulse shape. Thus the device length should be kept short to avoid the walk-off effect resulting in limited conversion efficiency. In this report, we propose a method for a quasi-phase matched (QPM) device to maintain the pulse shape of the SFG light pulse along the propagation distance. The output DFG light pulse deformation is suppressed and the conversion efficiency can be increased by extending the device length.  相似文献

We have analysed the output pulse characteristics of semiconductor optical amplifier (SOA). It is shown that they can be modified due to the variation of input parameters, such as, gain, input pulsewidth, input pulse energy and effects imposed by the medium. Therefore, the influence of these parameters are analysed on the output pulse shape, spectrum, chirp and pulsewidth. We have used the nonlinear propagation equation taking into account the gain spectrum dynamics, gain saturation which depends on carrier depletion, carrier heating, spectral hole-burning, group velocity dispersion, self-phase modulation and two photon absorption. We have used the finite-difference beam propagation method to simulate the wave evolution both in time and spectral domain in the SOA. We have also simulated the four-wave mixing characteristics between pulses for various input pulses. An accurate output pulse shape can be achieved by controlling the mentioned parameters. To the authors knowledge, pulse shaping in co-propagation regime due to medium effect and input pulse shapes in presence of all nonlinear effects relevant to picosecond regime have been studied comprehensively, for the first time in this work.  相似文献

We demonstrated a scheme of bandwidth expansion and pulse shape optimized to afford 10 PW laser design via spectral shaping, which uses the existing Nd:glass amplifier chain of the SG PW laser. Compared to the amplified pulse with a gain-narrowing effect, the required parameters of injected pulse energy, spectral bandwidth, and shape are analyzed, together with their influence on the system B-integral, energy output capability, and temporal intensity contrast. A bandwidth expansion to 7 nm by using LiNbO3 birefringent spectral shaping resulted in an output energy of 2 kJ in a proof-of-principle experiment. The results are consistent with the theoretical prediction which suggests that the amplifier chain of SG PW laser is capable of achieving 6 kJ at the bandwidth of 7 nm and the B-integral < π . This will support a 10 PW laser with a compressed pulse energy of 4.8 kJ (efficiency=80%) at 480 fs.  相似文献
