 为了满足光学非线性器件设备对工作材料的要求,探究具有高阶非线性效应的固态薄膜材料的制备方法,并对其光学特性进行表征,采用化学插入法,将甲基蓝染料分子插入到具有纳米量级的层状钛酸盐片间,制备了甲基蓝-钛酸盐纳米聚合物薄膜,通过吸收光谱和荧光光谱的测定,发现薄膜的吸收峰相对于染料溶液发生了明显的蓝移,表明染料分子在纳米片间是H-聚集排列。进一步应用单光束连续He-Ne激光Z-扫描技术研究了样品的非线性光学特性,结果显示:插入染料分子的钛酸盐纳米MB/HTO聚合物薄膜具有“负”的非线性折射率,在低功率连续激光作用下聚合物薄膜的非线性折射率系数n2的量级为10-10 m2/W。  相似文献

采用物理吸附方法制备出多孔硅和偶氮化合物染料分散红(DR1)的复合薄膜.用单光束扫描法研究了多孔硅/ DR1复合膜的三阶非线性光学性质,测量了在1064 nm处多孔硅/DR1复合膜的双光子吸收系数和非线性折射率.实验结果表明,同多孔硅相比,多孔硅/DR1复合膜三阶非线性光学效应明显得到了增强.  相似文献

偶氮金属螯合物薄膜的光学常数和吸收光谱   总被引:2,自引:2,他引:0  
偶氮金属螯合物薄膜是一类新型光信息存储和光学非线性材料。通过旋涂法在单晶硅上制备了三种新型偶氮染料:2-(4-甲革-2-噻唑基偶氮)-5-二乙基胺苯酚(MTADP)掺杂聚合物,MTADP的镍螯合物(Ni-MTADP)和锌螯合物(Zn-MTADP)薄膜。利用宽谱扫描全自动椭圆偏振光谱仪测定了上述薄膜的椭偏光谱,获得了三种薄膜在400—700nm波段的复折射率、复介电常量和吸收系数。两种金属螯合物薄膜的共振波长比非螯合物薄膜红移了60—70nm;光学常数和吸收系数在峰值的数值也发生了明显的变化。由于这两种螯合物具有不同的立体结构,Ni-MTADP薄膜的共振波长比Zn-MTADP有10nm的红移。  相似文献

设计合成了三种偶氮苯化合物,分子的一端为羟基,改变其对位取代基团硝基、氢和甲氧基. 并利用Z扫描技术分别测试了偶氮苯化合物在THF及CHCl3溶液中的三阶非线性光学响应,所用激光输出波长为532 nm、脉宽为16 ns. 结果表明:对于不同取代基团的偶氮苯化合物,改变不同溶剂其酚羟基与THF 溶剂分子间形成了氢键,体系中供电子能力增强,分子排列有序度提高,因此非线性吸收系数和非线性折射率)相比较于CHCl3溶液,均表现出了不同程度的增强;同一溶剂中,4-硝基-4'-羟基偶氮苯由于其形成了推拉电子结构,电子云更易于流动,电荷转移程度高,表现出更大的非线性光学响应特性.  相似文献

用Z扫描方法测量了团簇WOS3Cu3I(2 MePy) 3对 5 32nm、8ns激光脉冲的非线性光学响应曲线。以速率方程为基础对实验结果进行拟合 ,理论计算和实验结果符合得很好。应用激发态折射理论研究了非线性折射率系数的符号变化和折射度比值Kr 的关系 ,Kr>1时非线性折射率系数为正 ,Kr<1时折射率系数为负。  相似文献

采用Z扫描和泵浦-探测技术研究了GaN薄膜在370 nm时的非线性光学效应和非线性光动力学过程。首先,基于GaN薄膜的透射光谱,结合线性光学理论分析得到了其在370 nm的线性折射率n0、线性吸收系数α0、光学带隙Eg等线性光学性质。采用飞秒激光Z扫描技术,得到了不同光强激发下的Z扫描实验响应结果,结合非线性光学理论提取出GaN薄膜可变的光学非线性吸收效应。在激发光子能量接近GaN带隙情况下,低光强时材料表现为饱和吸收而高光强时为反饱和吸收,这是因为低光强下单光子吸收占主导而高光强下以单光子感应自由载流子吸收为主。闭孔Z扫描测量得到了GaN薄膜的三阶非线性折射系数为n2=-(1.0±0.1)×10-3 cm2·GW-1,它几乎比传统非线性介质的高出一个数量级。为了探究上述非线性过程的动力学弛豫时间以及进一步探究GaN薄膜非线性光动力学过程的深层物理机制,采用了交叉偏振飞秒退相泵浦探测技术观察GaN薄膜的光激发载流子动力学弛豫过程。实验结果表明,在低光强下,饱和吸收效应来源于瞬态单光子吸收,高光强下单光子感应自由载流子吸收为非瞬态光动力学过程,其自由载流子弛豫时间约为17 ps。该工作将为GaN薄膜在紫外非线性纳米器件应用以及GaN薄膜非线性过程的机制分析理解提供新的思路。  相似文献

分子聚集体在非线性光学和集成光学等领域有潜在的应用前景。纳米结构一维染料分子J—聚集体有许多既不同于单个分子又不同于体材料的奇异性质,即超辐射和巨光学非线性。这种超辐射是由于在几个本征态内振于强度结合在一起,得到一巨跃迁偶极于,因而是超辐射的。跃迁速率与耦合分子个数N成正比。分子聚集体的J—吸收和超辐射发射是共振的。利用Z—扫描技术测量PIC在不同配比下的非线性折射率、非线性吸收系数和非线性极化率。观测到随着链长变短,样品的三阶非线性极化率增大。对这种非线性增强的机制进行了分析和讨论。  相似文献

利用射频磁控共溅射的方法制备出纳米GaSbSiO2镶嵌复合薄膜.用Cary5E分光光度计分析研究了复合薄膜的室温透射光吸收特性.用Z扫描方法测量了复合薄膜在6328nm处大的双光子吸收系数β≈0082mW,非线性折射率γ≈376×10-9m2W及非线性系数χ(3)≈784×10-9esu. 关键词: 纳米GaSb 双光子吸收 光学非线性  相似文献

本文研究了利用单光束纵向扫描法测量介质的光学非线性折射率n_2中,介质的线性吸收对测量结果的影响,指出样品的吸收使得纵向扫描方法的测量范围减小,测量精度降低,在实验上,利用纵向扫描法测量了一种掺有叶绿素-α的有机聚合材料的非线性折射率,获得的n_2为3.4×10~(-9)esu,对实验结果的分析表明,材料的非线性折射来源于有机材料的共轭π电子效应.  相似文献

The nonlinear optical properties of an azobenzene polymer azol2-MO were investigated by a Z-scan technique. The polymer was synthesized by assembling the liquid-crystalline polymer azol2 with methyl orange. The nonlinear refrac- tive index (1.39×10^-15 cm2/W) and the nonlinear absorption coefficient (0.11 cm/GW) of azol2-MO were determined with 532-nm picosecond laser pulses at the irradiance of 92.40 GW/cm2. When compared to the nonlinear properties of azol2 and methyl orange, azol2-MO possesses the advantages of its two constituents and shows larger nonlinear optical properties.  相似文献

We present a precise data processing method, in the Z-scan experiments using a Gaussian beam and trimmed Airy beam, for directly extracting nonlinear refraction from the closed aperture Z-scan trace with the aid of the open aperture Z-scan trace when the materials exhibit nonlinear refraction and nonlinear absorption simultaneously. This method is still applicable when the nonlinear absorption is dominant and the closed aperture Z-scan curve degenerates into a single valley configuration, which is a salient advantage over other methods. In addition, we give gracefully empirical formulas with very high precision, which have good practicability for characterizing the optical nonlinearities of materials by use of the Gaussian beam and trimmed Airy beam Z-scan technique, respectively.  相似文献

The third-order nonlinear optical properties of solution-grown methyl-p-hydroxy benzoate (MHB) single crystals were studied by Z-scan technique using a He-Ne (632.8 nm, 30 mW) laser. From the closed aperture Z-scan data, the valley followed by peak on the normalized transmittance indicates the sign of the nonlinear refractive index is positive and shows a self focusing nature. From the open aperture Z-scan curve, it is found that the nonlinear absorption is due to saturation. The order of magnitude of third order susceptibility was estimated to be 10?6 esu. UV-Vis-NIR spectrum of MHB single crystal reveals a very low cutoff wavelength (310 nm) and transparency in the entire visible region. Also the material has direct allowed transition and it possesses a band gap of 3.7 eV. The dissipation factor is low and SHG efficiency is high. The higher magnitudes of second and third order NLO parameters make the material suitable for photonic applications like frequency conversion and eye/sensor protection.  相似文献

Nonlinear optical properties of Basic Violet 16 dye solution in water are studied employing different optical techniques. Experiments are performed using the second harmonic of a continuous Nd-Yag laser beam at 532 nm wavelength and 100 mW power. The effect of nonlinearity of Basic Violet 16 dye in broadening the laser beam is observed. The optical limiting behavior is investigated by measuring the transmission of the samples. The third-order nonlinearity, χ3 of Basic Violet 16 dye, is measured using Z-scan data. The nonlinear absorption coefficient is calculated using the open aperture Z-scan data, while its nonlinear refractive index is measured using the closed aperture Z-scan data. All experiments are done for different concentrations and thicknesses of Basic Violet 16 dye solution. The effect of intensity of input laser beam on the nonlinear susceptibility is studied experimentally. Results indicate that Basic Violet 16 dye is a potential candidate for low-power optical limiting applications.  相似文献

The nonlinear optical properties and photoinduced anisotropy of an azobenzene ionic liquid-crystalline polymer were investigated. The single beam Z-scan measurement showed the polymer film possessed a value of nonlinear refractive index n2 = −1.07 × 10−9 cm2/W under a picosecond 532 nm excitation. Photoinduced anisotropy in the polymer was studied through dichroism and photoinduced birefringence. A photoinduced birefringence value Δn ∼ 10−2 was achieved in the polymer film. The mechanism for the nonlinear optical response and the physical process of photoinduced anisotropy in the polymer were discussed.  相似文献

单光束激光Z-扫描技术是利用光束的横向特性来研究材料的光学非线性的,其灵敏度的提高有助于测量微弱折射率变化。从入射光束、调制方式、光束检测等方面论述了Z-扫描技术的灵敏度。顶环光束入射相对于标准Z-扫描技术的高斯光束入射其灵敏度可提高2.5倍,但要求光源的输出能量达到一定值,仅适用于测定较小的非线性相移;在光路中插入调制元件后放大因子可达到780,但调节光路难以调节焦移效应。利用CCD作为探测器的TPDZ-扫描技术能够测量小于λ/15000的非线性相位畸变,CCD能够充分获得光束的横向信息,有望成为另一种测量光学非线性的常用方法。  相似文献

采用磁控溅射沉积法在微纳光纤表面上镀一层纳米级厚度的铋薄膜,制备了一种微纳光纤-铋膜结构的可饱和吸收体.在1.5μm处的非线性光调制深度为14%.将其应用到掺铒光纤激光器中,在1.5μm波段获得稳定的超快脉冲激光产生,脉宽为357 fs,输出功率为45.4 mW,单脉冲能量为2.39 nJ,信噪比为84 dB.实验结果表明,利用磁控溅射法可制备出大调制深度的可饱和吸收体,为获得高能量超短脉冲激光输出提供新方案.  相似文献

Conventional all-optical switches based on azo polymer films and the all-optical switches based on the attenuated total reflection (ATR) geometry are investigated. A conventional switch system, including a pump beam of 532 nm and a probe beam of 650 nm, is based on the photoinduced birefringence effect of azo polymer. An ATR switch in a prism-multilayer configuration is achieved by changing the reflectance of the probe beam with an external pump beam. The ATR method provides the substantial improvement of the speed and the efficiency of the modulation over the conventional method. Although the azo polymer response still remains relatively slow, an enhanced nonlinear refractive index of the azo polymer film can effectively increase the modulation.  相似文献

以菲涅尔-基尔霍夫衍射理论为基础,建立了非线性介质对高斯光束的衍射模型,对高斯光束通过非线性介质后的传输行为进行了详细的理论推导和数值计算,从一种新的角度解释了Z-扫描现象.理论推导出了考虑双光子吸收的闭孔和开孔Z-扫描曲线的统一公式,是计算非线性折射率和双光子吸收系数的一种新方法.数值模拟计算表明,对于考虑双光子吸收的闭孔Z-扫描曲线,其结果与经典的Z-扫描理论完全一致.而对于已给定的开孔Z-扫描曲线,用该理论计算出的双光子吸收系数是经典开孔Z-扫描理论计算值的1/3,其它结论与传统Z-扫描理论完全吻合.该理论的近似条件只要求薄样品和小非线性吸收,比传统理论具有更好的准确性.  相似文献
