In our previous paper, we have introduced a new kind of continuous-variable-type entangled states, called double-mode excited entangled coherent states. In this paper, we study sum squeezing properties of such excited entangled coherent states. We focus on discussing the influence of photon excitations on sum squeezing properties. It is found that the photon excitations seriously affected sqeezing properties of the excited entangled coherent states. With increasing the number of the photon excitations m, the higher-order terms move away from its initial state |ψ 0〉 and the degrees of sum squeezing are increasing. In this sense, it implies that the photon excitations excitated the sum sqeezing properties of the double-mode excited entangled coherent states.  相似文献

A scheme is proposed for generating maximally entangled Dicke states among four modes. The scheme only uses Kerr medium and homodyne measurements on coherent light fields, which can be efficiently made in quantum optical laboratories. We consider an N qubit system and show that in the symmetric subspace, S, a pure state is not globally entangled, iff it is a coherent state. It is also proven that in the orthogonal complement S all states are globally entangled.  相似文献

We analyze decoherence properties of entangled coherent states due to channel losses. Employing the concept of “entanglement of formation”, degradation of fidelity and degree of entanglement are calculated. We have obtained an explicit expression of concurrence concerning the symmetric noise channel and found our result is just incompatible with that of [K. Park, H. Jeong, Phys. Rev. A 82 (2010) 062325] measured by negativity in the limit of α→0. We demonstrate that entangled coherent states with sufficient small amplitudes are more robust against channel decoherence than Bell states.  相似文献

Multiparticle entangled states that are the generalization of the W class states and can be reduced to Dicke states are considered. The master equation describing the collective decay of atoms in a cavity is derived for the Tavis-Cummings model in the dispersive limit. The entangled states of atoms that are retained in the process of collective decay are found. The scheme for recording and storage of these states in a collective thermostat is presented.  相似文献

We propose a simple scheme to not only generate GHZ states and W states of the multiparticle but also form a new category of multiparticle entangled states by letting the λ-type three-level atoms simultaneously interacting with a coherent cavity field followed by the selective measurements on the cavity mode. We investigate the influence of the cavity dissipation on the generated entangled state and discuss the experimental feasibility of our scheme. It is shown that the intensity of the coherent cavity field plays an instructive role in contribution to state preparation process while the cavity decay and the detuning between the atoms and cavity mode result in the deterioration of the generated entangled state.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a special type of maximally entangled states namely by entangled SU(1,1) semi coherent states by using SU(1,1) semi coherent states(SU(1,1) Semi CS). The entanglement characteristics of these entangled states are studied by evaluating the concurrence.We investigate some of their nonclassical properties,especially probability distribution function,second-order correlation function and quadrature squeezing . Further, the quasiprobability distribution functions (Q-functions) is discussed.

A scheme is proposed for generating multiphoton maximally entangled states among four modes. These schemes only use Kerr medium and polarization beam splitters and P homodyne measurements on coherent light fields, which can be efficiently implemented in quantum optical laboratories. The process of resonant interaction of light with two-level atoms in the absence of relaxation is considered. For a special form of initial conditions, simple and exact solutions are found that describe coherent processes leading to the appearance of many-particle entangled W-class states. These processes can be used for preparation and transformation of entangled states, in particular, for problems of quantum memory and generation of entangled atomic chains.  相似文献

We present several efficient entanglement concentration protocols (ECPs) with the nitrogen-vacancy (N-V) centers coupled to low-Q microresonators. Based on the input-output process of ancillary coherent light pulse in low-Q microresonators, we can obtain the maximally entangled states among remote participants via local operations and classical communication. Our protocols use a conventional photon detector to discriminate the two coherent states |α〉 and |?α〉, which is more convenient than homodyne measurement. We discuss the feasibility of our protocols, and they may be beneficial for quantum repeaters and quantum information processing.  相似文献

This paper proposes an efficient scheme for deterministic generation of entangled coherent states for two atomic samples. In the scheme two collections of atoms are trapped in an optical cavity and driven by a classical field. Under certain conditions the two atomic samples evolve from an coherent state to an entangled coherent state. During the interaction the cavity mode is always in the vacuum state and the atoms have no probability of being populated in the excited state. Thus, the scheme is insensitive to both the cavity decay and atomic spontaneous emission.  相似文献

We study the generation of spin squeezing via the hole burning of selected Dicke states out of an atomic coherent state prepared for a collection of N two-level atoms or ions. The atoms or ions of the atomic coherent state are not entangled, but the removal of one or more Dicke states generates entanglement, and spin squeezing occurs for some ranges of the relevant parameters. Spin squeezing in a collection of two-level atoms or ions is of importance for precision spectroscopy.  相似文献

This paper proposes a feasible scheme for the quantum teleportation of tripartite entangled coherent states by using linear optical devices such as beam splitters, phase shifters and photo detectors. The scheme is based on the bipartite maximally entangled coherent state and the tripartite entangled coherent state with bipartite maximal entanglement as quantum channels. It shows that when the mean number of photons is equal to 2, the total minimum of the average fidelity for an arbitrary tripartite entangled state is 1-0.67×10 -3.  相似文献

We propose two schemes for preparing GHZ-type and W-type entangled squeezed vacuum states of electromagnetical fields based on dispersive cavity QED. The GHZ-type and W-type entangled squeezed vacuum states in n separate cavities can be effectively obtained after detecting the final states of the atoms. We construct the photon-added deformed Barut–Girardello coherent states (PA-DBGCSs) for bosonic fields by discussing the Klauder minimal set of conditions required to obtain coherent states. Using this set of deformed states, we propose a useful way to generate and control the entanglement generated via unitary beam splitters for different field amplitudes Z, deformation q, and excitation number m. Therefore, we provide the possibility to create highly entangled states. Moreover, we obtain the condition for maximum and separable output beam state. Finally, we examine the statistical properties of PA-DBGCSs, in view of the Mandel parameter, and exploit a connection between this quantity and variations in the behavior of the output-state entanglement. Our result can open new prospectives in different tasks of quantum information processing.  相似文献

We propose a protocol for creating arbitrary qudit state (including entangled states) with arbitrary dimensionality in continuous variable system using weak cross-Kerr nonlinearity, linear beamsplitters, detectors not resolving photon numbers, and sources of coherent states. The equation for unique determination of the used coherent states amplitudes is found. The protocol is applicable for creating entangled states at distances of 100 km using cross-Kerr nonlinearity χχ min ≃ 0.01 and optical fiber quantum channel.  相似文献

We study the evolution of entangled coherent states of the two quantized electromagnetic fields under dissipation. Characteristic time scales for the decay of the negativity are found in the case of large values of the phase space distance among the states of each mode.
