光折变多重存储的栅自增强读出特性研究   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
研究了光折变重存储读出时折射率栅自增强特性与记录晶体厚度、记录时的光强比以及写入的折射率栅振幅之间的关系.结果表明记录晶体的厚度大于某一值,才有自增强效应;较小的参物光强比具有较大的自增强效果,能获得较大的读出衍射效率;自增强读出所能达到的最大衍射效率与写入的栅振幅大小无关,而读出时衍射效率增加的速率与写入的栅振幅成反比.  相似文献

利用Kogelnik单色光在体光栅中衍射效率公式推导出超短脉冲光读出稳态光折变体光栅时的衍射光频谱表达式,并在此基础上导出了脉冲光读出时的总衍射光强及总光强衍射效率.研究发现衍射光的频谱分布、总光强及衍射效率与光栅周期Λ、光栅厚度d和读出光脉冲宽度Δτ有密切的关系.通过调整这些参量,光折变光栅可以对入射的超短脉冲光实现不同程度的滤波作用.该结论可用于超短脉冲的整形研究.  相似文献

高衍射效率亚波长结构Dammann光栅的设计   总被引:2,自引:2,他引:2  
传统的Dammann光栅是基于标量衍射理论设计的二值相位等光强分束器件,其衍射效率的典型值为80%左右.基于严格耦合波分析理论和遗传算法,提出了一种设计亚波长结构Dammann光栅的新方法,且该新型二值相位光栅具有较高的衍射效率.同时利用自编的仿真程序包设计了多个光栅,并分析了制作误差对其衍射效率和光强均匀性的影响.仿真结果表明,用该方法所设计的Dammann光栅的衍射效率超过92%.  相似文献

采用Kogelnik的耦合波理论,研究了超短脉冲光通过光折变体光栅的衍射及透射光强在时域的瞬时变化特性.发现衍射和透射脉冲波形与读出脉冲宽度、光栅周期、光栅厚度及光折变材料的折射率调制大小有密切关系.通过调整这些参量的数值,可以获得需要的脉冲形状.同时还发现衍射和透射脉冲在时间轴上有一定的偏移,偏移量的大小与参量选择有关.  相似文献

提出了一种采用Damman光栅和球面透镜组合光学系统产生二维光阱阵列的新方案. 在使用红失谐高斯激光束照射的条件下,推导了计算光阱阵列的周期、光强分布、光强梯度和光阱几何参数的经验公式,讨论了此光阱阵列的特点以及在原子光学和分子光学中的应用. 研究结果表明,这种光阱阵列方案比已有的光阱阵列方案更为简单可行、操作方便,非常适用于冷原子或冷分子的阵列囚禁,以及制备新颖的光学晶格. 关键词: 冷原子或冷分子 光阱阵列 Damman光栅 光偶极势  相似文献

用简易易行的方法对液晶光阀(LCLV)的工作特性曲线作了测量,包括光阀在正像,反转像和微分像状态读出光强与写入光强的响应曲线,以及不同写入光照度下液晶层透过率与工作电压的关系曲线,对所得结果的分析揭示了这方面以及未曾深入研究的液晶光阀非线性转换的特性,由此为光阀的很多新用途提供了坚实的实验基础,指出了进一步探索的方向。  相似文献

在Ce:KNSBN光折变类光纤晶体中,用不同偏振的读出光控制衍射光强的大小从而实现光折变光开关的开-关功能.实验结果表明e光读出时的光栅衍射效率是o光读出的310倍,而且衍射效率比不随写入光光强比的变化而变化.与块状晶体做了比较,并用理论进行了分析,在光折变类光纤中的衍射效率比是块状晶体的10倍,光折变类光纤晶体有着更好的光开关性能.  相似文献

系统分析了掺铜钾钠铌酸锶钡(KNSBN:Cu)晶体中全息光栅的读取过程,发现全息光栅读取时间的长短与读取光的强度以及样品的温度有关,实验表明,温度为50℃读取时间约为95℃时的2倍;读取光强为1.8 mW时的读取时间为38 mW时的6倍,而且在实验范围内,读取时间和写入时间近似为线性关系.  相似文献

We consider the optimum incident angles of cross polarized four-wave mixing with a photorefractive crystal. First, the phase matching angles are obtained for two operation modes: one in which the writing beams are ordinary rays and the reading beam is an extraordinary ray, we call this Mode 1. The other in which the writing beams are extraordinary rays and the reading beam is an ordinary ray, Mode 2. Next, practicable ranges of the incident angles are calculated considering of the total internal reflection of the phase conjugate beam in cases where the two writing beams illuminate the same surface of the BaTiO3 crystal and where they illuminate the neighboring right-angled surfaces, respectively. Then, the coupling coefficient is determined as a function of the incident angle, and the optimum incident angles for effective beam interaction in Mode 1 and Mode 2 are estimated.  相似文献

A theoretical model for formation of light-induced gratings in organic photoisomers is presented. Using this model, dynamic behaviors of the light-induced gratings are studied theoretically for two different cases: in the first case, in addition to a CW loser generating the writing beams and the reading beam, a pulsed laser is used as an optical pump, in the second case, the writing beams are provided by a pulsed laser, and the reading beam comes from a CW laser. In this paper, based on dynamic coupled-wave equations, we theoretically discuss the diffraction efficiency under four writing and reading polarization conditions, then reach the proven conclusion that with o-polarized beams to write and with e-polarized beam to readout, the diffraction is the largest.  相似文献

We have studied the effect of the reading beam on the decay process of the photoinduced second-order susceptibility χ(2) in both the guest-host system (disperse red 1-doped polymethyl methactrylate) and the side-chain system (disperse red 19-functionalized polyimide polymer). Both experimentally and theoretically, we have proved that the reading beam has the erasure effect on the decay process, that is, χ(2) decays faster in the high intensity than in the low intensity of the reading beam. Furthermore, the relationship between the time constant τB of the slow component of the decay process and the intensity of the reading beam I1.06 is derived from the theoretical equations, which is fitted well with the experimental results. Based on the fitting parameters, we also compare, quantitatively, the thermal-induced orientational diffusion of trans- and the quantum efficiency of trans-to-cis photoisomerization in the two systems. A theoretical model of light diffraction by tilted holographic gratings in photopolymeric materials in the nonstationary regime of reading, which describes the dynamic process of optical hologram amplification with allowance for the photopolymerization and diffusion mechanisms of recording, is developed. For the given model, the dynamics of the diffraction efficiency and selective properties of hologram reading are modeled numerically when Bragg's conditions are satisfied and violated. It is demonstrated that the diffraction characteristics of tilted holograms are spatially noninvariant for the reading beam direction. The optimal conditions of reading of tilted holograms are established.  相似文献

Methyl orange is an excellent nonlinear optical material. Both ordinary intense modulation holograph and the polarization holograph can be recorded in the methyl orange-polyvinyl alcohol (MO-PVA) film.
