The relationship between the bandwidth of a signal and the correlation of that signal with its ocean surface reflected arrival, a quantity we term frequency correlation, has been investigated experimentally and compared with two theories. Decorrelation of wideband surface scattered signals is a direct consequence of time spread. The acoustic measurement utilized a very short pure tone signal, from which time spread has been estimated, and four broadband signals with different bandwidths, for which correlation with the transmitted signal has been measured. An environment-driven model developed by Dahl was used to predict time spread, which agreed favorably with our time spread measurements. The model was also employed in two theories that predict frequency correlation. The first, a theory published by Reeves in 1974, is based upon the ratio of signal temporal resolution to total time spread. This theory compared well with our measurements for 1 kHz bandwidth signals, but is not applicable for signal bandwidths greater than about 2 kHz. The second, a theory developed by Ziomek, models ocean acoustic propagation as transmission through a linear system. This theory agreed well with our frequency correlation measurements for signal bandwidths of 1-22 kHz.  相似文献

高速飞行器等离子鞘套由于飞行姿态调整、湍流、非均匀烧蚀等因素的影响,使其等离子体参数存在时变特性,针对这种传输介质的快速时变特性引起的电波幅度、相位上的寄生调制效应,本文利用大面积辉光放电等离子体产生装置,搭建了等离子体中信号传输实验系统,进行了S频段的单频信号与调制信号传输实验,观测验证了调制效应的存在,且其调制频率与等离子体变化频率具有一致性,进一步分析了等离子参数与寄生调制效应的关系,理论和实验结果表明:即使当载波频率大于等离子频率时,时变等离子引起的寄生调制效应也会使传输信号的星座图发生旋转,造成其判决容差裕度变小,通信可靠性下降,并且载波频率越接近等离子频率时,其寄生调制效应越强烈。  相似文献

信号在环境复杂多途严重的水声波导中传输后,接收到的信号时间长度被拉长,信号是失真的。在许多实际应用中,常常希望从已失真的接收信号中把原始信号波形恢复出来。本文利用盲解卷积技术对水声信号恢复进行研究。理论推演表明,在垂直阵条件下用人造的格林函数可成功地代替水声信道真实的格林函数,可以把非线性关系化解为线性关系,从而推导出依靠基阵记录下的信息去确定声源宽带信号原始波形和环境传播特征的公式和步骤。声场数值计算对6种海底类型进行,恢复后的宽带信号与原始信号的归一化相关系数均大于0.945,对硬海底多途严重的情况,收效特别明显,证明该方法的有效性。在青岛海试中恢复后信号的相关系数平均值为0.933,在青岛海试中利用这种解卷积技术去恢复信号是成功的。  相似文献

针对射频装定系统易受噪声和干扰的影响,导致数据装定出现错误的问题,提出在装定系统发送端对工作命令进行差错控制编码,增强系统的抗干扰能力。首先,根据(7,4)循环码信息位和监督位之间的线性关系,对工作命令进行编码,使其具有发现并纠正一个错误位的能力。其次,采用平衡Gold码进行扩频调制,使系统具有保密性强的优点。最后,在采用查表法进行正弦信号发生器设计的基础上,进行选择法的QPSK调制,具有结构简单、易于实现的优点。经实验验证,采用31位的的Gold码进行调制,系统扩频增益为14.77dB;QPSK波形频率为781.25 KHz,符合设计需求。  相似文献

通过获得扩频处理增益, 直接序列扩频水声通信系统具有较高的稳定性, 是高质量水声通信及远程水声通信的首选通信方式. 但复杂的海洋环境使得直扩系统在解扩时受到载波相位跳变的影响, 这将导致直扩系统的扩频处理增益下降. 为此, 本文针对直扩系统提出了差分能量检测器算法, 通过比较接收端相关器输出能量完成解码, 并与有源平均声强器算法相结合, 提出单矢量差分能量检测器算法. 该算法具有很好的抗载波相位跳变和多途扩展干扰的能力, 并可对信号方位信息实时跟踪估计, 利用估计方位进行矢量组合可获得矢量处理增益, 从而保证直扩系统可以在低信噪比、时变信道条件下稳定工作. 通过仿真分析和大连海试试验, 验证了本文提出的单矢量差分能量检测器算法的有效性和稳健性.  相似文献

A three-dimensional model of the forward propagation of nonlinear sound beams in inhomogeneous media, a generalized Khokhlov-Zabolotskaya-Kuznetsov equation, is described. The Texas time-domain code (which accounts for paraxial diffraction, nonlinearity, thermoviscous absorption, and absorption and dispersion associated with multiple relaxation processes) was extended to solve for the propagation of nonlinear beams for the case where all medium properties vary in space. The code was validated with measurements of the nonlinear acoustic field generated by a phased array transducer operating at 2.5 MHz in water. A nonuniform layer of gel was employed to create an inhomogeneous medium. There was good agreement between the code and measurements in capturing the shift in the pressure distribution of both the fundamental and second harmonic due to the gel layer. The results indicate that the numerical tool described here is appropriate for propagation of nonlinear sound beams through weakly inhomogeneous media.  相似文献

针对高速运动过程中的水声通信,提出一种新型稳健的同步方法。该方法充分利用线性调频(LFM)信号的自相关特性及LFM扩频水声通信解调原理。湖试结果表明该方法简单有效,能够消除同步误差累积。利用湖试数据进行的仿真结果表明:该方法在常速及变速运动情况下均有效;在水下24m/s高速运动、时变多途干扰、带内接收信噪比低于0dB时,数据率可达为100bit/s,误码率保持在10-4左右。  相似文献

The paper describes the results of a preparatory study for the planned introduction of a harmonised method to assess long-term sound levels in Europe. The purpose of this study is to quantify the error in the prediction of long-term sound levels when propagation calculations refer to a limited number of between 1 and 121 representative meteorological situations. This error is determined with respect to the average sound level resulting from parabolic-equation simulations for 1452 meteorological situations of consecutive 6-h intervals during one year. The meteorological situations were taken from meteorological tower measurements at Garching near Munich, Germany. The various meteorological conditions enter the model through two-parameter logarithmic-linear vertical profiles of the effective speed of sound which were fitted to the tower measurements. While source power and ground impedance were held constant, the model results elucidate the sound level variations due to the meteorological variability. A spread of 18 dB was found in the calculated instantaneous levels at 200 m range for rigid ground. The spread was 42 dB at 1000 m. Because of the asymmetric frequency distribution of wind directions, a spread of still up to 5.5 dB was found in the calculated annual average levels at 1000 m range for various directions of propagation. As a consequence of the specific meteorological conditions the annual average night-time level exceeds the annual average day-time level by up to 5 dB. Only 25 logarithmic-linear profile classes are necessary to determine the long-term average sound level at 1000 m range with an accuracy better than 2 dB. The use of purely linear profile classes slightly impairs the results, whereas the use of purely logarithmic profile classes cannot be recommended.  相似文献

The propagation of a noise signal is considered for an arctic-type waveguide with a varying sound speed profile. The profiles used in the calculations differ from each other due to different depth dependences of salinity. The shape of the envelope of the time correlation function is studied for the coherent and reference signals. For the latter, either the replica of the transmitted noise signal or one of the modes propagating in the waveguide is used. A characteristic feature of the proposed technique is the use of the time cross-correlation between the signals that traveled through the same path in the presence of different sound speed profiles. In this case, from the shape of the envelope of the signal correlation function, one can estimate the changes that occur in the sound speed profile on the path of signal propagation.  相似文献

In this paper, we describe an improved adaptive partial response maximum likelihood (PRML) method combining modulation code tbr signal waveform modulation multi-level disc. This improved adaptive PRML method employs partial response equalizer and adaptive viterbi detector combining modulation code. Compared with the traditional adaptive PRML detector, the improved PRML detector additionally employs illogical sequence detector and corrector. Illogical sequence detector and corrector can aw)id the appearance of illogical sequences effectively, which do not follow the law of modulation code for signal waveform modulation multi-level disc, and obtain the correct sequences. We implement the improved PRML detector using a DSP and an FPGA chip. The experimental results show good performance. The higher efficient and lower complexity can be obtained by using the improved PRML method than by using the previous PRML method. Meanwhile, resource utilization of the improved PRML detector is not changed, but the bit error rate (BER) is reduced by more than 20%.  相似文献

A mathematical model of the auditory analysis of periodicity of sound and its envelope is proposed. The model consists of a sequence of mathematical transformations that describe the signal processing stages. The following parameters and properties of the auditory system are taken into account: the crude analysis of the input acoustic signal accurate to the width of the aural critical band; the frequency dependence of the width of the aural critical band; the spectrum of the input signal analysis by a set of 3500 filters closely spaced in frequency; the absolute audibility thresholds at a given frequency; the time-domain analysis of both the output signals of each filter and the envelope profile with the help of the periodicity function; the pulsed activity of auditory neurons; the ability of the auditory system to memorize the spectral-time images of the signal and its individual parameters; the ability of the auditory system to form the perception of the loudness of sound, to memorize and compare the loudness of sound at different time moments, and to conclude which of them is higher or lower or whether they are equal accurate to a certain threshold; the dependence of the critical modulation bandwidth on the modulation frequency; and the dependence of the audibility thresholds of amplitude modulation on the modulation frequency. By an example of processing amplitude-modulated signals with various carrier-to-envelope frequency ratios, the model is shown to give a satisfactory explanation of their pitch and auditory estimate of the envelope period.  相似文献

针对水声扩频通信中频带利用率低的问题, 提出了一种M元扩频技术和循环移位键控(CSK)技术相结合的多载波调制方式, 将M元扩频后选择的扩频码同时采用CSK调制, 并调制在多个正交的载波上, 显著提高了频带利用率. 在水声多途信道下, 采用相同的通信速率和带宽, m序列、Kasami小集合序列和Gold序列为扩频码时, 比较了系统的误码性能. 仿真结果和实验结果均表明, m序列为扩频码时性能最优, Gold序列性能最差. 由于m序列数量有限, 为了进一步提高通信速率, 并使其他序列的性能接近m序列性能, 提出了一种复合序列抑制载波间干扰的算法, 该算法能够很好抑制多途干扰, 使复合序列性能接近m序列的性能. 关键词: M元扩频')" href="#">M元扩频 循环移位键控 正交多载波 载波间干扰  相似文献

A study of 400 Hz sound focusing and ducting effects in a packet of curved nonlinear internal waves in shallow water is presented. Sound propagation roughly along the crests of the waves is simulated with a three-dimensional parabolic equation computational code, and the results are compared to measured propagation along fixed 3 and 6 km source/receiver paths. The measurements were made on the shelf of the South China Sea northeast of Tung-Sha Island. Construction of the time-varying three-dimensional sound-speed fields used in the modeling simulations was guided by environmental data collected concurrently with the acoustic data. Computed three-dimensional propagation results compare well with field observations. The simulations allow identification of time-dependent sound forward scattering and ducting processes within the curved internal gravity waves. Strong acoustic intensity enhancement was observed during passage of high-amplitude nonlinear waves over the source/receiver paths, and is replicated in the model. The waves were typical of the region (35 m vertical displacement). Two types of ducting are found in the model, which occur asynchronously. One type is three-dimensional modal trapping in deep ducts within the wave crests (shallow thermocline zones). In a test of the weak equivalence principle(WEP) with a rotating torsion pendulum, it is important to estimate the amplitude of the modulation signal with high precision. We use a torsional filter to remove the free oscillation signal and employ the correlation method to estimate the amplitude of the modulation signal. The data analysis of an experiment shows that the uncertainties of amplitude components of the modulation signal obtained by the correlation method are in agreement with those due to white noise. The power spectral density of the modulation signal obtained by the correlation method is about one order higher than the thermal noise limit. It indicates that the correlation method is an effective way to estimate the amplitude of the modulation signal and it is instructive to conduct a high-accuracy WEP test.  相似文献

In the last decade the laser Doppler vibrometer (LDV) has become a widely spread instrument for measuring vibrations. It often offers accurate measurements with a high spatial resolution. However, the measurement time of the LDV and especially for the scanning LDV is long. Therefore, reducing the measurement time is an attractive objective. A way to achieve this is to use a single sine excitation (on a resonance frequency). However, this technique has two major drawbacks: the inability to provide information on the damping and a operational deflection shape that can differ from the true mode shape. In this article two methods will be introduced to reduce measurement time without these defaults. In the first method introduced in this article a narrow band multisine is used as excitation signal and the measured vibration signal in the time domain is represented by a model using sines and cosines with these fixed narrow band frequencies. The coefficients of those sines and cosines are then estimated on a global scale by means of a least-squares estimator. An important advantage of this particular technique is that one does not have to measure a full period of the signal, reducing time. The second method accelerates the measurement time for scanning LDV measurements. Using the time domain sequence from each previous scan point and a limited number of time samples from the current scan point, the full time domain sequence of the current scan point can be estimated. Both these methods are a key benefit for in-line quality control, which can have upwards of 1000 spatial measurement locations. The proposed techniques will be validated on both simulations and experiments of varying complexity.  相似文献

在多输入多输出系统中,诸多情况下需并行测量任意输入输出之间的脉冲响应。虽然利用以Kasami序列集为代表的二元伪随机序列集良好的相关特性可以实现多声源并行测量,但是囿于其编解码信号相同且为二元信号的特点,使得其相关特性仍存在较大的可优化空间。该文提供了一种基于三元伪随机序列集的多声源房间脉冲响应测量方法,具有更好的相关特性,提高了测量准确度。仿真和实验验证了该测量方法的可行性和准确性。在封闭空间几何模型构建等领域中,可使用该方法提高测量效率并降低由于各通道不同步导致的误差。  相似文献

Three-way interactions between sound waves in the subglottal and supraglottal tracts, the vibrations of the vocal folds, and laryngeal flow were investigated. Sound wave propagation was modeled using a wave reflection analog method. An effective single-degree-of-freedom model was designed to model vocal-fold vibrations. The effects of orifice geometry changes on the flow were considered by enforcing a time-varying discharge coefficient within a Bernoulli flow model. The resulting single-degree-of-freedom model allowed for energy transfer from flow to structural vibrations, an essential feature usually incorporated through the use of higher order models. The relative importance of acoustic loading and the time-varying flow resistance for fluid-structure energy transfer was established for various configurations. The results showed that acoustic loading contributed more significantly to the net energy transfer than the time-varying flow resistance, especially for less inertive supraglottal loads. The contribution of supraglottal loading was found to be more significant than that of subglottal loading. Subglottal loading was found to reduce the net energy transfer to the vocal-fold oscillation during phonation, balancing the effects of the supraglottal load.  相似文献

This paper focuses on an active noise cancellation system for a home window using a transparent acoustic transducer. In a traditional active noise cancellation system, direct microphone measurements are used for reference and error signals. In the case of the window application, both external and internal sound would be picked up by such microphones. This leads to adverse effects on the performance of the active noise cancellation system and also to distortion of the internal sound. To address this problem, a wave separation technique is proposed to separate the internal and external components of sound. The wave separation algorithm is based on the use of two microphones and an algorithm that separates components based on their direction of travel. An active noise cancellation system is implemented using wave separation for both the error and reference signal measurements. The performance of the resulting ANC system is experimentally tested in a cabin equipped with a window and results are presented. Experimental results show that the new system is able to accurately preserve desired internal sound while cancelling uncorrelated external noise.  相似文献
