The dependence of the Verwey temperature Tv on the uniaxial pressure P was determined. It was found that along the [111] axis dTv/dP ≈ 10K/kbar while along the [110] and the [001] axes, dTv/dP ≈ 1 K/kbar. The results emphasize the important role played by the rhombohedral distortion in the Verwey transition.  相似文献

Both antiferromagnetic (TN) and weak ferromagnetic (Tc) transition temperatures of NiS2 have been measured under pressure up to 18.4 kbar. Values of dTN/dP=(0.9 ± 0.1) deg/kbar and dTc/dP=(0.4 ± 0.1) deg/kbar are obtained. The present results allow estimates of the magnetic Grüneisen constant γm = - d ln TN/d ln V of (26±5) and of the entropy change of (1.4±0.5) J/mol·deg at the first order transition temperature Tc.  相似文献

Nuclear spin-lattice relaxation times (T1) for protons in the intercalation complex TaS2:NH3 have been measured as a function of temperature (27 ≤ T ≤ 300 K) and pressure (0 ≤ P ≤ 4 kbar). Dipolar fluctuations associated with translation and reorientation of the NH3 molecules are the dominant T1 mechanism for T > 100 K. A one parameter diffusion model analysis yields an activation energy (E) of 0.13 eV for these motions. The rate of change of E with pressure is estimated at dlnE/dP = 2.3%/kbar, much larger than expected from the compressibility of most solids. A sign reversal of dT1/dP occurs at temperatures near the T1 minimum, observable in the present case because of the large pressure response of these materials.  相似文献

The electrical resistivity of α-Mn was measured from 4.2 K to 290 K at pressures up to 8 kbar. The residual resistivity was found not to depend on pressure. The Néel temperature decreases linearly with pressure at a slope dTN/dP = − 1.7 ± 0.2 K/kbar.  相似文献

We have studied by pulsed NMR a single crystal of 2HNbSe2 at ambient pressure and under hydrostatic pressure of 21 kbar in the temperature range 4.2–273 K. Our results are consistent with the onset of incommensurate charge density waves (ICDW) at TCDW = 33 K atP = 1 bar and 26 K at P = 21 kbar. Below TCDW, the lineshapes of the (m → m ? 1) transitions agree with a local distribution of Knight shift and electric field gradients respecting the symmetry of a triple ICDW, while above TCDW, pre-transitional broadening is observed. The product T1T = 500 ± 100 msk was found constant in the temperature range 4.2–77 K and pressure independant.  相似文献

Measurements of the electrical conductivity were performed in KHSO4 at pressures between 0.5 and 2.5 GPa and in the temperature range 120-350 °C by the use of the impedance spectroscopy. The temperatures of the α-β phase transition (TTr) and of the melting (Tm), determined from the Arrhenius plots ln(σT) vs. 1/T, increase with pressure up to 1.5 GPa having dT/dP∼+45 K/GPa. Above the pressure 1.5 GPa, the pressure dependencies of TTr and Tm are negative dT/dP∼−45 K/GPa. At pressures above 0.5 GPa, the reversible decomposition of KHSO4 into K3H(SO4)2+H2SO4 (and probably into K5H3(SO4)4+H2SO4) affects the electrical conductivity of KHSO4, with the typical values of the protonic electrical conductivity, c. 10−1 S/cm at 2.5 GPa.  相似文献

Fluorescence spectra of crystalline tetracene have been recorded in the temperature range 120 to 300 K under hydrostatic pressure up to 600 MPa. From discontinuities in both emission spectra and spectral intensities it is concluded that two phase transitions occur. The room temperature phase is transformed to a low temperature phase/high pressure phase I at TIt (p = 0) = 182 K, the temperature coefficient being dTIt/dp = 0.395 K/MPa. The phase transition is induced by a decrease of the specific volume under pressure and/or upon cooling. Lack of a significant shift of the origin of the fluorescence band near TIt at constant pressure is an artifact resulting from the neglect of reabsorption effects. The Stokes shift is 260 cm-1, independent of temperature and crystal modification. In accord with previous Raman data a second phase transition occurs at TIIt (p) = 143 K, the pressure shift being dTIIt/dp = 0.088 K/MPa.In addition, the shift of the triplet energy as a function of pressure as well as the pressure-dependence of the rate constants governing fission of a singlet exciton into a pair of triplets is discussed utilizing their magnetic field dependences.  相似文献

The electrical resistivity of LaAg has been measured from 1–300 K at hydrostatic pressures to 12.4 kbar and the superconducting transition temperature Tc determined inductively to 23 kbar. For P ? 6.2 kbar a lattice transformation is observed at a temperature TM which increases rapidly with pressure. Tc shows an oscillatory pressure dependence, increasing initially from Tc (0) = 1.062 K. There is no obvious correlation between the pressure dependence of TM and Tc.  相似文献

Magnetization measurements have been carried out under hydrostatic pressures up to 6 kbar and constant magnetic fields (10 kOe) in CsCl-type compounds: CeMg and CeZn. a decrease in the Néel temperature, TN, with increasing pressure is observed in both compounds (dTN/dp=- 0.2 and -0.17 K kbar-1 respectively in CeMg and CeZn). The relative decrease of TN has a similar order of magnitude to that found in other cerium compounds with Kondo-type properties.  相似文献

The influence of hydrostatic pressure 0 ? p ? 4 kbar on the 35Cl NQR in K2SnCl6 was studied in the temperature range 238 K ? T ? 300 K. The phase transition temperatures TC1 and TC2 were determined from changes in the NQR line pattern.The phase boundaries in the p-T diagram are straight lines in the region studied. The pressure coefficients are given by dTC1/dP = 1.35 (10) K kbar?1 and dTC2/dP=?1.25 (20) K kbar?1.  相似文献

A Mössbauer measurement of the pressure dependence of the Néel temperature in FeF2 is reported. Up to the maximum pressure of 50 kbar TN increases at the rate of 0.27 ± 0.03°K/kbar. When this pressure dependence is converted to volume dependence, the result, d In TN/d In V = 3.2 ± 0.3, is found to obey the “103 rule” established by Bloch for a wide variety of antiferromagnetic insulators.  相似文献

Investigations of the pressure dependence of the superconducting transition temperature Tc up to 17 kbar, and of the normal conductivity up to 50 kbar are reported. It is observed that below 8 kbar, the value of Tc increases linearly with the pressure. In addition, there is a significant drop of Tc at about 9 kbar which may be due to a phase transition.  相似文献

The pressure dependence of the two CDW transition temperatures (Td1? 350 K and Td2 ~ 190 K) in 1T-TaS2 has been investigated by measuring the resistivity up to 5 kbar. It is found that the thermal hysteresis of the phase transition at Td2 is very sensitive to the pressure and is interpreted by the phenomenological Landau theory including cubic term.  相似文献

Measurements of all the six principal elastic constants of single-crystal rutile were made in the temperature range of 298–583°K. The temperature derivatives (in kb/deg) at 298°K are: dC11/dT = − 0·510, dC33/dT = − 0·900, dC44/dT = − 0·220, dC66dT = − 0·458, dC12/dT = − 0·580, and dC13/dT = − 0·330. Measurements of the four modes, C11, C′ = (C11C12)/2, C66, and C110L = (C11 + C12 + 2C66)/2, were extended to 4°K. Two features related to the temperature and volume dependences of the lattice vibrational frequencies are revealed: first, all the measured dClj/dT except dC′/dT become less negative with increasing temperature above 100°K. Second, dC′/dT is positive at all temperatures but decreases with increasing temperature at temperatures > 300°K. Indirectly shown is that (∂C′/∂P)T having a value of − 1·32 at 298°K, decreases with decreasing temperatures. The significance of this latter fact is discussed in light of the computation of Grüneisen mode γ's from the acoustic (∂Cij/∂P)T values, and the results are compared with the γ (αv) values obtained by Kirby from thermal expansion data. It is concluded that the large increase in γ(αv) at low temperatures cannot be ascribed to a large temperature dependence of (∂C′/∂P)T. Therefore, Kirby's explanation, that the large increase in γ(αv) is caused by the large volume dependence of the acoustical mode frequencies, is not substantiated.  相似文献

研究了等静压对0.75Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-0.25PbTiO3(PMN-25PT)陶瓷介电温谱的影响,PMN-25PT剩余极化随等静压变化和等静压压致相变.结果表明,随着压力增加,PMN-25PT的介电峰值温度Tm降低,/+{dTm}/-{dP}≈-4℃/kbar,极化弛豫增强;剩余极化随压力增加连续减小;介电常数对压力的依赖关系与对温度场的依赖相似,压力诱导PMN-25PT发生弛豫铁电—顺电相变,相变为宽化的渐变过程,频率色散和极化弛豫更加强烈和普遍. 关键词: 铌镁酸铅-钛酸铅 等静压 介电弛豫 压致相变  相似文献

The La1.32Sr1.68Mn2O7 layered manganite system has been studied by the low temperature electrical resistance and magnetoresistance under hydrostatic pressure up to 25 kbar. We have observe both, a Curie temperature (TC) and a metal-insulator transition (TMI) at 118 K in the ambient pressure. The applied pressure shifts the TMI to higher temperature values and induces a second metal-insulator transition (T2MI) at 90 K, in the temperature dependence of resistivity measurements. Also, the pressure suppresses the peak resistance abruptly at TC. When an external field of 5 T is applied, we have observed a large negative magnetoresistance of 300% at the transition temperature and a 128% at 4.5 K. However, the increased pressure decreases the magnetoresistance ratio gradually. When the pressure reaches its maximum available value of 25 kbar, the magnetoresistance ratio decreases at a rate of 1.3%/kbar. From our experimental results, the decrease of magnetoresistance ratio with pressure is explained by the pressure induced canted spin state which is not favor for the spin polarized intergrain tunneling in layered manganites.  相似文献

The hydrostatic pressure dependence of magnetic properties are reported for antiferromagnetic RSb where R = Nd, Gd, Tb, Dy, HoorEr. Measurements were made for pressures 0 ≤ p ≤ 10 kbar, magnetic fields 0 ≤ H0 ≤ 60 kG, and temperatures 1.4 K ≤ T ≤ 35 K. dTN/dP shows no systematic trend and ranges from -0.038 K/kbar for DySb to + 0.21 K/kbar for NdSb. The magnetic properties of DySb are strongly P-dependent, whereas those of HoSb are P-independent, but sample-dependent.  相似文献

用金刚石对顶砧高压显微光谱系统在室温和1bar—66kbar的流体静压力范围内研究了(Zn0.85Cd0.15)S:Cu,Al磷光体的发光峰位置和相对发光强度随压力而变化的规律。随着压力的增加,发射峰值波长迅速移向短波方向,而发射峰值对应的光子能量随压力增加的速率为4.7meV/kbar(38cm-1/kbar)。这个值比该材料的吸收边随压力增加的速率要小。随着压力的增加,该磷光体的发光峰值相对强度急骤下降,当压力从常压升到66kbar时,发光峰值相对强度下降到原值的6%。这些结果可以用Al3+-Cu+的施主-受主对模型来解释。本文还估计施主(Al3+)和受主(Cu+)的激活能之和随压力增加的速率为3.7meV/kbar(30cm-1/kbar)。 关键词:  相似文献

Electrical resistivity measurements under pressure have been carried out on the high-temperature superconductor YBa2Cu3O7 – as a function of temperature T between 1 and 300 K at various pressures between 8 kbar and 149 kbar. The superconducting transition temperature Tc increases almost linearly with pressure at the rate dTc/dP - 0.13 K/kbar. The onset of Tc, defined as the temperature at which(T) drops to 90% of its extrapolated normal state value, increases from 95 K at 8 kbar to 107 K at 149 kbar. These results suggest that higher pressures will yield yet higher values of Tc.  相似文献
