In the ionisation of Rydberg hydrogen atoms near a metal surface,the electron will escape from the nucleus and arrive at the detector in a time sequence.This probability flux train relies on the initial electron wave packet irradiated by the laser pulse.For simplicity,the laser pulse is usually simplified to a delta function in energy domain,resulting in a sharp initial arrival time with an exponentially decaying tail at the detector.Actually and semiclassically,the initial outgoing wave should be modeled as an ensemble of trajectories propagating away from the atomic core in all directions with a range of launch times and a range of energies.In this case,each pulse in the pulse train is averaged out rather than a sharp profile.We examine how energy and time averaging of the electron wave packet affects the resolution of escaping electron pulses and study the energy dependence of the arrival time for each pulse in the ionisation train.An optimization condition for the laser pulse shape to generate narrow ionisation electron pulse in the train is obtained.The ionisation rates with various excitation energy are calculated also,which show the excitation to higher N Rydberg states will narrow the electron pulse as well.  相似文献

介绍了用圆柱型容性感应探针进行非拦截式束流强度测量的方法。该方法利用测量束流相宽和中心相位的感应探针同时进行束流强度的监测, 以满足HIRFL束流诊断的在线测控要求;说明了采用数字示波器测量束流感应信号并从中提取束团相宽及束流强度等信息的原理。介绍了测量系统装置及虚拟仪器技术在本系统中的应用,并给出了初步实验结果和测量精度的分析。  相似文献

采用介质涂覆的球-筒电极结构,用以脉冲电压条件下在水中产生放电,通过比色法检测放电产生的过氧化氢,研究了不同电压脉冲幅值、脉冲宽度(储能电容的大小)、水的电导率以及脉冲频率对过氧化氢产生速率的影响,实验结果表明过氧化氢的产率随电压脉冲幅值的增大而增大。当电压脉冲幅值足够高时,水中放电由流注放电形式转换为电弧放电形式,此时过氧化氢产率也大幅提高,而在相同电压条件下,随水的电导率的增大,过氧化氢的产率减小。在相同电压下,脉冲频率的增大,导致放电平均功率增大,水中放电产生过氧化氢的浓度提高。在3.3 W功率时,120 min后水中过氧化氢浓度达到0.2 mmol/L,从而证明了所用电极结构的优越性。  相似文献

A short pulse (35 ns), high energy X-ray source, driven by a coaxial Blumlein pulser, has been used to preionize a 2.5 × 3 × 30 cm3 active volume XeCl avalanche discharge laser. A maximum output energy of 1 J has been extracted at 0.9% efficiency (including X-ray preionization). Measurements have been performed to investigate the influence of the X-ray pulse timing on laser output and discharge quality.  相似文献

Current wave forms of initial stages of discharge formation in a short negative point-to-plane gap have been measured with a nanosecond time resolution in hydrogen at pressures (12.5–76) kPa and for various overvoltages and cathode point radii. The measurements revealed the existence of a stepped form of negative corona current pulses in hydrogen. To test existing models for negative corona pulse formation, effects of changing cathode secondary electron emission were studied using copper and brass cathodes coated by CuI and graphite. It is concluded that a negative corona pulse is associated with the ignition of a cathode-directed streamer in the vicinity of the cathode. We report what we believe are the first experimental observations of non-Trichel oscillations of negative corona current with a frequency of (1–10) MHz. 为更好地理解低气压、弱电离条件下潘宁离子源放电过程中离子和电子的动力学行为, 通过建立二维轴对称模型, 采用粒子模拟与蒙特卡罗相结合(PIC/MCC)的方法, 考虑了电子与氢气之间的弹性碰撞、激发、电离以及氢原子、离子之间的弹性碰撞和电荷交换等过程, 对微型氢气潘宁离子源放电和引出过程进行了数值研究. 考察了磁场位形、壁面二次电子发射系数、引出电压和充气压力对放电过程的影响, 得到了实验中难以诊断得到的放电腔内电子与离子数密度分布, 阳极电流、引出极离子电流、单原子氢离子比例和双原子氢离子比例等宏观参数与实验结果相一致. 通过仿真使得对氢气潘宁放电机制的研究从定性过渡到定量, 这对于潘宁离子源的设计和改进具有重要意义. 关键词: 潘宁放电 氢气 粒子模拟 蒙特卡罗  相似文献

采用自行研制的低造价、小体积、可产生幅值0~35 kV、重复频率1 kHz的高压s脉冲电源,设计了一套以大气压氖气为工作气体的介质阻挡放电(DBD)等离子体射流源,通过测量并计算放电过程中的电压-电流波形、拍摄放电图像、光谱分析等手段,对电压幅值、气体流速对氖气等离子体射流特性的影响进行了研究。结果表明:s脉冲电源激励下大气压氖气DBD能产生锥状的等离子射流且其等离子强度适中;s脉冲电源电压幅值的快速上升,可在放电空间瞬间施加高的过电压,能有效促进放电功率、电子密度、电子激发温度和射流长度的增加;工作气体流速的增加使得放电功率、电子激发温度和电子密度减小,而射流长度变化很小;一定条件下,能形成长距离的射流。  相似文献

The generation of quasimonoenergetic electron beams, with energies up to 200 MeV, by a laser-plasma accelerator driven in a hydrogen-filled capillary discharge waveguide is investigated. Injection and acceleration of electrons is found to depend sensitively on the delay between the onset of the discharge current and the arrival of the laser pulse. A comparison of spectroscopic and interferometric measurements suggests that injection is assisted by laser ionization of atoms or ions within the channel.  相似文献

We predict that a hydrogen atom in parallel electric and magnetic fields, excited by a short laser pulse to an energy above the classical saddle, ionizes via a train of electron pulses. These pulses are a consequence of classical chaos induced by the magnetic field. We connect the structure of this pulse train (e.g., pulse size and spacing) to fractal structure in the classical dynamics. This structure displays a weak self-similarity, which we call "epistrophic self-similarity." We demonstrate how this self-similarity is reflected in the pulse train.  相似文献

以氮气为背景气体,采用脉冲式微波产生等离子体,使用另外一束连续波作为传输模拟对象,并基于扩散效应的全域模型分析等离子体电子温度与电子密度的演化过程。实验中放电气压为300Pa,实验结果表明:在微波脉冲开始之后极短的时间内,连续波接受信号发生剧烈衰减;而在微波脉冲结束后,连续波接受信号则缓慢恢复。微波传输主要受到等离子体电子密度的影响,而全域模型的计算结果显示等离子体电子密度在开始放电时迅速上升,甚至高于放电微波频率对应的临界密度,在放电微波脉冲结束时电子密度则缓慢下降。这说明开放空间中等离子体在失去能量维持之后,由于扩散效应占主导作用,电子密度不会迅速下降,此时连续波依然会被阻碍,直到电子密度下降到连续波频率对应的临界密度以下。  相似文献

The influence of the electrode length and the voltage pulses on the discharge characteristics of the surface dielectric barrier discharge actuators were investigated numerically by using the plasma kinetic model. The governing equations including the coupled continuity plasma discharge equation, drift-diffusion equation, electron energy equation, Poisson's equation, and Navier–Stokes equation were solved in quiescent air at atmospheric pressure. The results show that the shorter pulse rising time results in higher discharge characteristics, more intense discharge, and bigger discharge region. Differently, the compared discharge characteristics for the electrodes with different lengths prove that the length of the powered and ground electrodes has little effect on the surface dielectric barrier discharge driven by nanosecond pulsed voltage.  相似文献

It is shown that a programmed fast rising current, making an excursion in excess of the Pease-Braginskii current, can isentropically compress a thermonuclear plasma to very high densities. Such a dynamic superpinch can satisfy the Lawson criterion for theD T thermonuclear reaction. The pinch current has to be driven by a large fast rising multimegavolt pulse power source. It is anticipated that electric pulse power sources employing both the magnetic insulation and double disc principles can satisfy the needed requirements in high voltages large currents and short discharge times.  相似文献

为了探索短电脉冲产生高功率微波技术,采用理论和粒子模拟方法分析了短电脉冲(脉宽不大于30ns)驱动S波段相对论扩展互作用腔振荡器(REICO)产生高功率宽谱的技术可行性,开展了原理性的实验验证。采用Marx发生器产生的前沿15ns、后沿30ns、电压560kV、束流2.8kA的类三角形电子束脉冲激励REICO,模拟产生了410MW、脉宽8ns、相对瞬时带宽2.7%的微波,实验输出了160MW、脉宽10ns、中心频率2.75GHz、瞬时相对带宽2.8%的高功率微波。  相似文献

开展了J量级系统储能下电脉冲参数对水中火花放电特性影响研究。驱动源采用参数可调的固态重频纳秒脉冲电源,放电负载为水中针-板结构(间距1 mm),在低重频条件(约5 Hz)下进行实验。通过调节放电参数、拍摄高速阴影图像、光谱诊断以及声信号测量,研究水中脉冲放电的物理特性,得到不同放电参数下放电演化规律及其对声学、光谱特性影响。实验发现:在J量级储能下,放电通道连通两极后,回路电流在几百ns内快速上升至10 A左右,随后缓慢下降,持续50~60μs。发现预设脉宽对放电影响较大,短脉宽条件下放电会被电源固态开关强制截断出现反向放电,而长脉宽条件下放电通道在后期变得不稳定甚至熄弧中断,出现气泡中二次放电现象。辐射光谱揭示了更多等离子体信息,推断通道电子密度在1018 cm-3量级,随着脉宽增加,特征谱线强度增加,表明活性粒子数密度增加,但粒子种类不变。短脉冲(<150μs)作用下产生的脉冲声波的特征宽度在110~150μs,而当脉宽继续增大,声波脉宽并不继续增加而是保持不变,保持在150μs左右。研究结果对水中小能量火花放电的机理研究有一定参考价值,为水声学、液相等离子体等领域的应用提供思路。  相似文献

The Ni-like Ag 13.9nm x-ray laser has been previously demonstrated that the higher gain near critical surface contributes little to the amplification of the x-ray laser because of severe refraction. In this paper, the transient collision excitation (TCE) Ni-like Ag 13.9nm x-ray laser is simulated, driven by two 3ps short pulse preceded by a 330ps long prepulse, optimization of the peak to peak delay time of the two short pulses is made to get the best results. Simulation indicates that by producing lowly ionized preplasma with smoothly varying electron density, it is possible to decrease electron density gradient in higher density region, and thus higher gains near this region could be utilized, and if the main short pulse is delayed by 900ps, local gains where electron density larger than ~ 4×1020cm-3 could be utilized.  相似文献

A mathematical model describing the discharge kinetics and lasing characteristics of copper bromide vapor laser with neon and hydrogen additives has been developed. The suggested model is based on a “zero-dimensional” model and offers simple mechanisms to explain discharge kinetics mechanisms, different physical processes and hydrogen additive effects on the copper bromide vapor laser.The model estimates the temporal evolution of discharge voltage and current, population densities, laser beam density, electron temperature and radial distribution of pressure and buffer gas temperature. The suggested mechanism assumes that the electron detachment from negative hydrogen ions does not contribute to the copper ionization process.Numerical solutions of a nonlinear rate equation system predict the generation of nanosecond pulses. The calculated maximum values of discharge voltage, current, average output laser power, electron temperature, etc. are in good agreement with other reported calculated and experimental data.  相似文献

The influence of preionization conditions on the performance of a XeCl gas discharge laser preionized by a short, high intensity x-ray pulse, has been studied. The laser output energy and optical pulse temporal characteristics have been used to determine the roles of initial electron density and of electron attachment to HCl and to impurities. Although the short pulse preionization technique functions well for XeCl when the laser voltage pulse has a short risetime (?20 ns), it is less well suited to XeCl lasers using slowly rising voltage pulses (>50 ns), or to F2 containing gas mixtures (KrF and XeF lasers).  相似文献

 利用像增强CCD相机对脉冲CO2激光器的放电区进行观测,获得了放电辉光的发展过程,由此研究了长脉冲放电电路和短脉冲放电电路对放电过程的影响。发现普通电容放电电路(长脉冲放电电路)存在与自持放电阶段相对应的二次辉光;采用磁压缩开关的短脉冲放电电路,预电离出现较晚,但预电离辉光峰值和主放电辉光峰值之间间距较短,不存在自持放电阶段,只观测到一次强辉光。长脉冲放电电路与短脉冲放电电路在放电的后期均存在一个阴极位降区形成的过程。短脉冲放电电路有利于产生更窄的脉宽和更高的峰值功率。  相似文献
