NiZn ferrite/polyvinylpyrrolidone composite fibres were prepared by sol–gel assisted electrospinning.Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 nanofibres with a pure cubic spinel structure were obtained subsequently by calcination of the composite fibres at high temperatures. This paper investigates the thermal decomposition process, structures and morphologies of the electrospun composite fibres and the calcined Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 nanofibres at different temperatures by thermogravimetric and differential thermal analysis,x-ray diffraction,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and field emission scanning electron microscopy. The magnetic behaviour of the resultant nanofibres was studied by a vibrating sample magnetometer. It is found that the grain sizes of the nanofibres increase significantly and the nanofibre morphology gradually transforms from a porous structure to a necklace-like nanostructure with the increase of calcination temperature. The Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 nanofibres obtained at 1000 C for 2 h are characterized by a necklace-like morphology and diameters of 100–200 nm.The saturation magnetization of the random Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 nanofibres increases from 46.5 to 90.2 emu/g when the calcination temperature increases from 450 to 1000 C.The coercivity reaches a maximum value of 11.0 kA/m at a calcination temperature of 600 C.Due to the shape anisotropy, the aligned Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 nanofibres exhibit an obvious magnetic anisotropy and the ease magnetizing direction is parallel to the nanofibre axis.  相似文献

NiZn- and NiCuZn-ferrite nanoparticles (50–70 nm) with the chemical formula Ni0.5 Zn0.5Fe2O4 (NiZn) and Ni0.35Cu0.15Zn0.5Fe2O4 (NiCuZn) were synthesized by a combustion synthesis method. The nanocrystallite of these materials was characterized by structural and magnetic methods. Saturation magnetization increases from 83 emu/g (NiZn) to 91 emu/g (NiCuZn). Magnetic permeability and dielectric permittivity were measured on sintered samples (pellets and toroids) in the frequency range of 1 MHz–1.8 GHz. Reflection losses (RL) for both samples were calculated from complex permeability and permittivity. Cu substitution in NiZn-ferrite enhances permeability and RL.In order to explore microwave-absorbing properties in X-band, magnetic nanoparticles were mixed with an epoxy resin to be converted into a microwave-absorbing composite and microwave behaviors of both materials were studied using a microwave vector network analyzer from 7.5 to 13.5 GHz. Cu substitution diminishes absorption intensity in the range 11.5–12.5 GHz.  相似文献

A magnetic multi-walled carbon nanotubes-based (MWCNTs-based) composite, MWCNTs/Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4, was synthesized via a facile solvothermal approach. The composites were characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), and vibrating sample magnetometry. The results confirmed that MWCNTs and Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 coexisted in the composites. The TEM and HRTEM results showed a thick layer of Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 was intimately connected to the surface of MWCNTs. The saturation magnetization value of the composites was 45.8 emu/g. Furthermore, the probable synthesis mechanism of the magnetic composites was also investigated based on the experimental results.  相似文献

Dense, homogeneous, and fine-grained multiferroic BaTiO3/(Ni0.5Zn0.5)Fe2O4 composite ceramics are synthesized by a novel powder-in-sol precursor hybrid processing route. This route includes the dispersion of nanosized BaTiO3 ferroelectric powders prepared via conventional sold-state ceramic process into (Ni0.5Zn0.5)Fe2O4 ferromagnetic sol-gel precursor prepared via a sol-gel wet chemistry process. The composite ceramics show coexistence of obvious ferroelectric and ferromagnetic hysteresis loops at room temperature. Very low dielectric loss of about 0.02–0.0067 in the range of 10 kHz–10 MHz can be achieved, which is about an order of magnitude lower than the results of many reports using conventional processes at room temperature. The combination of high permeability and permittivity with low losses in the ceramics enables significant miniaturization of electronic devices based on the ceramics.  相似文献

Zn1−xNixFe2O4 ferrite nanoparticles were prepared by sol–gel auto-combustion and then annealed at 700 °C for 4 h. The results of differential thermal analysis indicate that the thermal decomposition temperature is about 210 °C and Ni–Zn ferrite nanoparticles could be synthesized in the self-propagating combustion process. The microstructure and magnetic properties were investigated by means of X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope, and Vibrating sample magnetometer. It is observed that all the spherical nanoparticles with an average grain size of about 35 nm are of pure spinel cubic structure. The crystal lattice constant declines gradually with increasing x from 0.8435 nm (x=0.20) to 0.8352 nm (x=1.00). Different from the composition of Zn0.5Ni0.5Fe2O4 for the bulk, the maximum Ms is found in the composition of Zn0.3Ni0.7Fe2O4 for nanoparticles. The Hc of samples is much larger than the bulk ferrites and increases with the enlarging x. The results of Zn0.3Ni0.7Fe2O4 annealed at different temperatures indicate that the maximum Ms (83.2 emu/g) appears in the sample annealed at 900 °C. The Hc of Zn0.3Ni0.7Fe2O4 firstly increases slightly as the grain size increases, and presents a maximum value of 115 Oe when the grains grow up to about 30 nm, and then declines rapidly with the grains further growing. The critical diameter (under the critical diameter, the grain is of single domain) of Zn0.3Ni0.7Fe2O4 nanoparticles is found to be about 30 nm.  相似文献

Mono-disperse spinel Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 nanosized particles have been synthesized via a hydrothermal method at low temperature. X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscope (TEM) and high-resolution transmission electron microscope (HRTEM) analysis indicated that the synthesized nanocrystals were of pure cubic spinel structure with the size about 6-20 nm. The activation energy of grain growth is 35.06 kJ/mol experimented by the Arrhenius equation. A primary experimental model was put forward to shed light on the growth mechanism of crystallined spinel Ni-Zn ferrite nanosized particles under hydrothermal conditions. The magnetic measurements shows that the prepared Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 nanoparticle possess good superparamagnetic behavior.  相似文献

(Li1+, Al3+) co-doped Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 ferrites, Ni0.5-xZn0.5-xLixAlxFe2O4 (x = 0.000, 0.025, 0.050 and 0.100), were synthesized by the sol-gel auto-combustion method. X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electronic microscope (FESEM), vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) and LCR meter were used to investigate the structural, magnetic and dielectric properties. Results of XRD and SEM indicate that both doping amount and calcination temperature play significant roles in crystal structure and grain growth. Also, it can be observed that the saturation magnetization and the coercivity change in a noticeable manner. The Ni0.475Zn0.475Li0.025Al0.025Fe2O4 ferrite sintered at 1200 °C has a relatively low coercivity value (62.93 Oe) and the largest saturation magnetization (110.95 emu/g). Besides, dielectric behavior is also improved by Li1+ and Al3+ co-doping.  相似文献

Nano particles of Mn(0.5–x)NixZn0.5Fe2O4 (x=0.0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3) have been synthesized by chemical co-precipitation method. The lattice constant and distribution of cation in the tetrahedral and octahedral sites have been deduced through X-ray diffraction (XRD) data analysis. The lattice constant (Å) for all Mn/Ni concentration is found to be less than that for the corresponding bulk values. X-ray intensity calculations indicate that there is deviation in the normal cation distribution. Magnetization decreases with increasing Ni concentration except for x=0.3, where it shows increasing trend. This is due to migration of Fe3+ ions from B-site to A-site, which reduces the B–B coupling and there by the spin canting in the B sublattice. The Curie temperature was found to decrease with increase in nickel concentration except for x=0.3, where it shows a rise. Coercivity is very low and is found to be inversely proportional to the grain size.  相似文献

Polyaniline/Zn0.5Cu0.5Fe2O4 nanocomposite was synthesized by a simple, general and inexpensive in-situ polymerization method in w/o microemulsion. The effects of polyaniline coating on the magnetic properties of Zn0.5Cu0.5Fe2O4 nanoparticles were investigated. The structural, morphological and magnetic properties of as-prepared samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectra, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and magnetic measurements. The morphology analysis confirmed that polyaniline was deposited on the porous surface of magnetic Zn0.5Cu0.5Fe2O4. It was shown that the saturation magnetization and coercivity of Zn0.5Cu0.5Fe2O4 decreased after polyaniline coating, which can be interpreted by the interparticle dipole–dipole interactions that contributed to magnetic anisotropy and changed the magnetic properties of the nanoparticles. Synthesis and characterization of Ni-Zn ferrite nanoparticles   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Nickel zinc ferrite nanoparticles NixZn1−xFe2O4 (x=0.1, 0.3, 0.5) have been synthesized by a chemical co-precipitation method. The samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, electron paramagnetic resonance, dc magnetization and ac susceptibility measurements. The X-ray diffraction patterns confirm the synthesis of single crystalline NixZn1−xFe2O4 nanoparticles. The lattice parameter decreases with increase in Ni content resulting in a reduction in lattice strain. Similarly crystallite size increases with the concentration of Ni. The magnetic measurements show the superparamagnetic nature of the samples for x=0.1 and 0.3 whereas for x=0.5 the material is ferromagnetic. The saturation magnetization is 23.95 emu/g and increases with increase in Ni content. The superparamagnetic nature of the samples is supported by the EPR and ac susceptibility measurement studies. The blocking temperature increases with Ni concentration. The increase in blocking temperature is explained by the redistribution of the cations on tetrahedral (A) and octahedral (B) sites.  相似文献

Nanostructured ferroxide particles with initial formula Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 are investigated. The aim was to explore the monodomain and the superparamagnetic states of the ferrospinel and the impact of the surface magnetic disorder on the magnetization processes. Mössbauer spectroscopy (MöS) demonstrated that the ion distribution follows the general formula (Zn0.5Fe0.5)A[Ni0.5Fe1.5]BO4, where A is the tetrahedral and B, the octahedral sublattice. MöS in an external magnetic field (5 T) at 4.2 K shows non-collinearity of the sublattices’ magnetic moments and deviations in the hyperfine magnetic field that could be related to a canting effect. Magnetic measurements were applied to characterize the temperature behavior of the magnetic properties and the a.c. complex magnetic susceptibility.  相似文献

Structural, electrical, and magnetic properties of Ni1−xZnxFe2O4 (x=0.2, 0.4) samples sintered at various temperatures have been investigated thoroughly. The bulk density of the Ni0.8Zn0.2Fe2O4 samples increases as the sintering temperature (Ts) increases from 1200 to 1300 °C and above 1300 °C the bulk density decreases slightly. The Ni0.6Zn0.4Fe2O4 samples show similar behavior of changes to that of Ni0.8Zn0.2Fe2O4 samples, except that the bulk density is found to be the highest at 1350 °C. The DC electrical resistivity, ρ(T)ρ(T), decreases as the temperature increases indicating that the samples have semiconductor-like behavior. As the Zn content increases, the Curie temperature (Tc), resistivity, and the activation energy decrease while the magnetization, initial permeability, and the relative quality factor (Q) increases. A Hopkinson peak is obtained near Tc in the real part of the initial permeability vs. temperature curves. The ferrite with higher permeability has a relatively lower resonance frequency. The initial permeability and magnetization of the samples has been found to correlate with density, average grain sizes. Possible explanation for the observed structural, magnetic, and changes of resistivity behavior with various Zn content are discussed.  相似文献

Nanocomposite of hard (BaFe12O19)/soft ferrite (Ni0.8Zn0.2Fe2O4) have been prepared by the sol–gel process. The nanocomposite ferrite are formed when the calcining temperature is above 800 °C. It is found that the magnetic properties strongly depend on the presintering treatment and calcining temperature. The “bee waist” type hysteresis loops for samples disappear when the presintering temperature is 400 °C and the calcination temperature reaches 1100 °C owing to the exchange-coupling interaction. The remanence of BaFe12O19/Ni0.8Zn0.2Fe2O4 nanocomposite ferrite with the mass ratio of 5:1 is higher than a single phase ferrite. The specific saturation magnetization, remanence magnetization and coercivity are 63 emu/g, 36 emu/g and 2750 G, respectively. The exchange-coupling interaction in the BaFe12O19/Ni0.8Zn0.2Fe2O4 nanocomposite ferrite is discussed.  相似文献

Nanocrystalline Ni x Zn1−x Fe2O4 (0 ≤ x ≤ 1) ferrite powders with average particle size 15–20 nm have been successfully prepared at a very low temperature (180 °C) by a novel auto combustion process using citric acid and ethylenediamine as a coordinating agent and bridging ligand, respectively. Phase purity of the solid solutions has been confirmed by X-ray diffraction. Morphological characterizations of the prepared samples were performed by high resolution transmission electron and field emission scanning electron microscopy. Extensive Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopic characterization has been carried out to identify the plausible mechanism of the synthesis process. Composition-dependent electrical properties (resistivity and dielectric constant) of the synthesized solid solution have been investigated. Interestingly, a non-linear variation of dielectric permittivity with respect to composition has been observed. The room temperature electrical resistivity as well as the dielectric permittivity of Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 was found to decrease with the decrease of particle size.  相似文献

The magnetic and physical properties of ferrites are very sensitive to microstructure, which in turn critically depends on the manufacturing process. In this study, nickel zinc ferrite powder with composition Ni0.8Zn0.2Fe2O4 has been prepared via conventional ceramic processing and co-precipitation methods. The toroidal and pellet form samples were sintered at various temperatures such as 1100, 1200 and 1300 °C. The microstructure, magnetic and dielectric properties of both samples were studied. The X-ray diffraction patterns confirm the formation of single-phase cubic spinel structure for the co-precipitation technique after sintering. The microstructure studies of Ni0.8Zn0.2Fe2O4 show the grain size increases and the porosity decreases with temperature for both methods. The controlled permeability with small loss and wide operational frequency range are found in the co-precipitation samples. Dielectric constants decrease with increase of frequency and increase with sintering temperature in both methods. Consequently, the homogenous microstructure with the low-loss high-performance of nickel zinc ferrite has been discovered by means of co-precipitation method.  相似文献

Dense composites were prepared through incorporating the dispersed Ni0.8Zn0.2Fe2O4 ferromagnetic particles into Sr0.5Ba0.5Nb2O6 ferroelectric matrix. Extrinsic dielectric relaxation and associated high permittivities of the materials are reported in the composites. We used an ideal equivalent circuit to explain electrical responses in impedance formalism. A Debye-like relaxation in the permittivity formalism was also found. Interestingly, real permittivity (ε′) of the sample containing 30% Ni0.8Zn0.2Fe2O4 shows obvious independence of the temperature at 100 kHz. Dielectric relaxation and high-ε′ properties of the composites are explained in terms of the Maxwell-Wagner (MW) polarization model.  相似文献

A novel one‐dimensional electromagnetic nanocomposite of polypyrrole (PPY) containing carbon nanotubes (CNTs)/Ni0.75Zn0.25Fe2O4 was synthesized by an in‐situ polymerization method. The composite was characterized by x‐ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) and Fourier transform infrared. The XRD results confirmed that PPY, CNTs, and Ni0.75Zn0.25Fe2O4 coexisted in the composite. The TEM and HRTEM results indicated that PPY coated the surface of the CNTs/Ni0.75Zn0.25Fe2O4 with a thickness of 15–30 nm. The lattice spacings, according to the first main peak of the CNTs, Ni0.75Zn0.25Fe2O4, and PPY, was about 0.34 nm, 0.25 nm, and 0.42 nm, respectively. The FTIR result also indicated that the PPY formed in the composite. A test of magnetic properties indicated that the composite was ferromagnetic with the saturated magnetization of 12.86 electromagnetic units (emu)/g, and the coercive of 127.18 Oersted (Oe).  相似文献

The DC conductivity and the relative magnetic permeability have been measured as functions of temperature for five powder samples of nanoparticle ferrites (NixZn1−xFe2O4; x=0, 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 and 1), a pure polypyrrole (PPy) powder sample and many composite samples prepared by mixing different ratios of the ferrites to PPy. By comparing the results it is found that there is an obvious increase in DC conductivity of the ferrite/PPy composite samples compared to the corresponding pure ferrite samples, whereas compared to the pure PPy sample there is a decrease in DC conductivity. On the contrary, the magnetic permeability of the composites is higher than that of the pure PPy sample and lower than that of the pure ferrite samples as was expected.  相似文献

We report the effects of heat treatment on Zn x Ni1???x Fe2O4 (x?= 0, 0.5 and 1.0) and MnFe2O4 ferrite nanoparticles. The as-prepared compounds were sintered from 400°C to 1100°C. Pure ZnFe2O4 (x?= 1.0) and MnFe2O4 could be obtained under low reaction temperature of 200°C. NiFe2O4 (x?= 0) and Zn0.5Ni0.5Fe2O4 (x?= 0.5) nanoferrites crystallized with single phase cubic spinel structure after annealing at 600°C. The single phase cubic spinel structure of these compounds was destroyed after annealing at temperature above 700°C. The magnetization measurements indicate superparamagnetic behavior of the nanosized compounds produced.  相似文献
