We investigate spin squeezing in optomechanical system. We first derive the mean spin direction, the optimally squeezed angle and then calculate the spin squeezing parameter, which is independent of the frequency of the cavity field. The lager coupling strength more rapidly generates spin squeezed state, but the corresponding spin squeezed state maintains shorter time interval.  相似文献

We consider how to generate spin squeezed state of atom-photon with stimulated Raman transition. We first derive the effective Hamiltonian and then obtain the analytical solution for state vector, the optimally squeezed angle and then the squeezing parameter. It is shown that the spin squeezed state can be generated by appropriately adjusting the atom-laser dipole interaction and two-photon detuning.  相似文献

The time evolution of spontaneous decay of a two-level atom in one dimension photonic crystals is investigated with three different methods : ( 1 ) using the Markovian approximation, (2) using the constant approximation, and (3) without using any of the two approximations. The second and third methods are Non-Markovian, which yield similar results. The second method gives us a clear physical picture of the effect of the reflected field. The Non- Markovian processes due to the reflected field have great influence on the atomic decay mainly within one tenth of an optical cycle, and reach steady state influence fter one optical cycle. The result of Markovian approximation gives almost the same result of the other two methods after one optical cycle, but misses the details within the one optical cycle.  相似文献

We investigate the entanglement property of a four-qubit state superposed by a four-qubit GHZ state and a symmetric state with spin squeezing. Numerically and analytic solutions for spin squeezing parameters are given. The squeezed parameters depend on the superpose coefficients and the relative phases. It is shown that there is no spin squeezing at n 1 direction and it occurs at n 2 direction under some conditions.  相似文献

We present a theoretical scheme for generating spin squeezed state of atom-photon in atomic Bose-Einstein condensate(BEC) via electromagnetically induced transparency(EIT). Here we focus on the influence of the laser-atom dipole interaction and the two-photon detuning on the degree of spin squeezing. The stronger laser-atom dipole interaction and the smaller two-photon detuning more rapidly induces the stronger spin squeezing.  相似文献

A scheme is proposed to dynamically prepare spin squeezed state of trapped ions, which are simultaneously excited by a laser beam. Simple analytical formula for the spin squeezing parameter has been derived. Its shown that the spin squeezed state can be dynamically generated by adjusting the detunning, the Lamb-Dicke parameter and the Rabi frequency.  相似文献

We derive the mean spin direction, the length of mean spin, the optimally squeezed angle and numerically calculate the spin squeezing parameter, which is determined by on the superposed coefficients and the relative phase. In this Letter we discuss squeezing state of magnon in ferromagnet, which permits a reduction in the quantum fluctuation of the spin component to below the zero-point quantum noise level of coherent magnon states. We investigate the generation of squeezed magnon state through calculating the expectation values of spin component fluctuation. We investigate spin squeezing of a collective spin system governed by mixed Hamiltonian of the one-axis twisting and two-axis counter-twisting with decay. The analytic solutions of the optimally squeezed angle and the spin squeezing parameter are derived. It is shown that the two-axis counter-twisting Hamiltonian induces stronger spin squeezing than the one-axis twisting one. It is also shown that the decay rate has no effect on the size of the squeezing parameter, it only affects the period of squeezing parameter.  相似文献

The result of one-mode quadrature-amplitude measurement for some generalized two-mode squeezed states has been studied by virtue of the entangled state representation of the corresponding two-mode squeezing operators. We find that the remaining field-mode simultaneously collapses to the single-mode squeezed state with more stronger squeezing. The measurement result caused by a single-mode squeezed state projector is also calculated, which indicates quantum entanglement in squeezing.  相似文献

The distribution of a modulated squeezed state over a quantum channel is the basis for quantum key distribution(QKD) with a squeezed state. In this Letter, a modulated squeezed state is distributed over a lossy channel. The Wigner function of the distributed state is measured to observe the evolution of the quantum state over a lossy channel, which shows that the squeezing level and the displacement amplitude of the quantum state are decreased along with the increase of the channel loss. We also measure the squeezing level in the frequency domain by the frequency shift technique. The squeezing of the modulated squeezed state at the modulation frequency is observed in this way. The presented results supply a reference for a QKD with a squeezed state.  相似文献

The quadrature squeezing properties of an atom laser originating from atomic Bose-Einstein condensate interacting with light field are studied. We find that the squeezing properties of the atom laser are dependent on the initial light field interacting with the atomic Bose-Einstein condensate. If the initial light field cannot be squeezed, such as number state or coherent state light field, the atom laser as well cannot be squeezed. However, if the initial light field interacting with the atomic Bose-Einstein condensate being in squeezed state, the atom laser can be squeezed periodically, and its squeezing depth is dependent on the intensity of interatoms interaction.  相似文献

We discuss the notion of spin squeezing considering two mutually exclusive classes of spin-s states, namely, oriented and non-oriented states. Our analysis shows that the oriented states are not squeezed while non-oriented states exhibit squeezing. We also present a new scheme for construction of spin-s states using 2s spinors oriented along different axes. Taking the case of s=1, we show that the ‘non-oriented’ nature and hence squeezing arise from the intrinsic quantum correlations that exist among the spinors in the coupled state.  相似文献

拉曼散射过程中利用原子系综中初始制备的自旋激发(原子相干性),以及注入与原子系综中初始制备的自旋激发相关联的种子光场都可以极大的提高光场频率转换的效率,实现增强拉曼散射.本文理论上计算了增强拉曼散射过程中原子-光场量子界面的正交分量的量子起伏,得到了相干性导致的增强拉曼散射,只能在一定的范围内稍微提高初始光子-原子的压缩度;而关联增强拉曼散射,能够制备很强的光子-原子间的双模压缩.这样强压缩度的光子-原子量子界面,对于利用光场和原子系统实现量子精密测量研究有着非常重要的应用.  相似文献

We discuss the entanglement swapping of two pairs of displaced two-mode squeezed states and find that the squeezing parameter of the outcoming squeezed state is less than that of the originM squeezed states. The calculation is greatly simplified by virtue of the natural expression of the two-mode squeezing operator in EPR eigenstate representation. We report a versatile instrument, based on a monolithic optical parametric amplifier, which reliably generates four different types of squeezed light. We obtained vacuum squeezing, low power amplitude squeezing, phase squeezing and bright amplitude squeezing. We show a complete analysis of this light, including a full quantum state tomography. In addition we demonstrate the direct detection of the squeezed state statistics without the aid of a spectrum analyser. We propose a new method of spin squeezing of atomic spin, based on the interactions between atoms and off-resonant light which are known as paramagnetic Faraday rotation and the fictitious magnetic field of light. Since the projection process, squeezed light, or special interactions among the atoms are not required in this method, it can be widely applied to many systems. The attainable range of the squeezing parameter is zeta greater, similarS(-2/5), where S is the total spin, which is limited by additional fluctuations imposed by coherent light and the spherical nature of the spin distribution.  相似文献
