运用传输矩阵法研究了在一维光子晶体中插入缺陷层的透光特性。在无缺陷层的一维光子晶体中能产生467~510 nm、1 279~1 715 nm两处明显的光子带隙。重点研究了插入缺陷层后,在1 279~1 715 nm的光子带隙中缺陷层厚度和入射角度大小分别与透射光谱变化的关系。研究发现:缺陷模的位置对入射角变化很敏感;出现缺陷模的数量和插入缺陷层的数量相同;一维光子晶体厚度的增大不会改变缺陷模的数量和位置,只改变透射峰的宽度和透射率。  相似文献

由修正后的传输矩阵理论研究了由单负材料构成的一维光子晶体的带隙特性。发现了此结构的光子晶体中同时存在着全方位带隙和布拉格带隙,且发现A、B层厚度等比例变化时全方位带隙非常稳定;当引入缺陷时,全方位带隙里的缺陷态将随入射角度、A层和B层同比例缩放的变化相对稳定,而布拉格带隙里的缺陷态在频谱域内变化很大。  相似文献

将两单负材料耦合后,再与一双负材料交替生成光子晶体。然后利用传输矩阵法对该光子晶体的能带和缺陷模进行了研究。结果表明:这种结构的光子晶体具有一种新型的光子带隙,不随晶格常数的缩放而移动;当引入普通电介质缺陷层时,缺陷模对入射角的改变不敏感,但缺陷模个数随着缺陷层厚度的增加而增多。  相似文献

构造了(AB)N(BA)N对称型两种单负材料交替一维光子晶体,利用传输矩阵法进行数值模拟.结果表明:这种单负交替对称型一维光子晶体具有一种特殊带隙结构,该带隙不敏感于入射角和晶格的无序性.在该带隙内出现了两个隧穿模,该隧穿模不敏感于入射角的改变和晶格的无序性,但能带及带隙内的隧穿模却敏感于晶格标度和周期数的变化;随着入射角的改变,带隙两侧的隧穿模趋于简并.这些特性对在利用此结构光子晶体设计双重超窄带滤波器时,具有一定的参考价值. 关键词: 光子晶体 单负材料 光子带隙  相似文献

利用周期结构的布洛赫定理推导了一维无限光子晶体缺陷模方程,研究了缺陷模的偏振特性,以及在不同入射角和缺陷层厚度下缺陷模位置的变化.利用传输矩阵方法对有限周期数光子晶体也进行了研究,分别对应一维无限光子晶体和有限周期数光子晶体给出了数值计算结果.通过比较这两者的数值结果得出了缺陷模随入射角和缺陷层厚度变化的一般规律.  相似文献

利用电磁理论和传输矩阵法仿真得到了在0.3~6.935GHz微波波段具有负折射率的左手材料,并分别对右手材料和左手材料构成的光子晶体带隙特点进行了分析.结果表明:右手材料光子晶体结构的带隙对周期数变化不敏感,而对层厚度比、入射角度变化敏感;左手材料光子晶体带隙随层厚度比的增大,带隙位置出现蓝移,随着入射角度的增大,TM波主带隙的上带边会出现红移,而TE波带隙特性对入射角度变化不敏感.研究结果对微波技术中全方位反射器等器件的设计有一定的参考意义.  相似文献

理论研究了由级联一维光子晶体构成的光子异质结构的全方位透射(反射)特性.其中各级联光子晶体的高低折射率介质相同、光学厚度比不同.以两个光子晶体级联的结构为对象,利用传输矩阵方法系统研究了不同偏振态光在不同入射角时光子帯隙的变化,得出实现全方位光子带隙的最大展宽条件,即前一光子晶体的帯隙上限要和后一光子晶体的带隙下限在最大入射角时重合.分别给出了满足和不满足该最大展宽条件的级联结构的全方位带隙参量,通过对全方位带隙宽度的比较说明了满足最大展宽条件的级联结构具有最大的全方位带隙宽度.  相似文献

利用传输线技术制备了左手材料,将左手材料与正常材料交替排列组合成平均折射率为零的一维光子晶体.该光子晶体在特定频段具有光子带隙,带隙不随晶格尺度和入射角的变化而改变.通过掺杂技术破坏光子晶体的周期性,可在禁带中引入缺陷模,这种结构的光子晶体可用于实现滤波器小型化和超强耦合.研究表明,通过调节缺陷的厚度可以控制缺陷模的频率,这为调节频率提供了一种方法.实验与仿真结果相符. 关键词: 左手材料 复合左右手传输线 光子晶体  相似文献

运用光学传输矩阵理论,研究了含负折射率材料1维光子晶体缺陷模的偏振特性。结果显示,零均折射率带隙中缺陷模对入射角和偏振有较强的依赖。通过对缺陷层参数的优化设计,得到了一系列的偏振无关非全向缺陷模,这是传统1维光子晶体中不能出现的。应用这些缺陷模,设计了低通、高通、带通空间滤波器。与传统光子晶体空间滤波器相比,这些空间滤波器具有偏振无关的优点。  相似文献

利用传输矩阵法研究了由TiO2和SiO2两种材料构成的异质三周期一维光子晶体的传光特性,发现该结构能在波长为200~ 2 000 nm的范围内形成7处比较明显的光子带隙,并且波长越大,带隙的宽度越大。重点研究了这种结构的光子晶体的透射谱线与入射角度、介质层数及介质层厚度的关系,发现该结构形成的光子带隙的大小和位置对介质层的循环周期数不敏感,但对入射角度和介质层的厚度很敏感。  相似文献

The properties and applications of omnidirectional and independently tunable defect modes in fractal photonic crystals containing single-negative materials are demonstrated. The proposed fractal structures can produce as many defect modes as desired by adjusting its structural parameters. The interaction effect between the defect states of such fractal structures is avoided, so the frequency of each defect mode can be tuned independently. Furthermore, these defect modes inside the zero effective-phase gap are insensitive to the incident angle. With perfect transmission, mode controllability and omnidirectional compatibility, these structures open a promising way for designing omnidirectional multichannel filters with specific channels.  相似文献

We propose a type of photonic heterostructure by combining dielectric one-dimensional (1D) defective photonic crystals (PCs) and magnetic 1D defective PCs. Both of the two PCs consist of alternating positive-index-material (PIM) layers with a negative-index-material (NIM) defect layer. It is demonstrated by transfer matrix method that there is a polarization- and direction-independent defect mode in a wide incident-angle range within Bragg gaps in the heterostructure. The field distributions prove that the dielectric 1D defective PC benefits to achieve the approximately omnidirectional defect mode for TE waves while the magnetic 1D defective PC benefits for TM waves. Such a structure is useful for designing polarization-independent and omnidirectional or large incident angle narrow-passband filters in optical devices.  相似文献

The transmission properties of Fibonacci quasi-periodic one-dimensional photonic crystals (1DPCs) containing indefinite metamaterials are theoretically studied. It is found that 1DPCs can possess an omnidirectional zero average index (zero-n?) gap which exists in all Fibonacci sequences. In contrast to Bragg gaps, such zero-n? gap is less sensitive to the incidence angle, the scale length and the polarizations of electromagnetic waves. When an impurity is introduced, a defect mode appears inside the zero-n? gap with a very weak dependence on the incidence angle and scaling.  相似文献

We investigate the properties of electromagnetic wave propagating in a one-dimensional photonic crystal (PC) consisting of two metamaterials with different dispersive model. The reflection gaps of metamaterials multilayer system are independent of the incident angle. Not only TE wave but also TM wave, the omnidirectional reflection gaps exhibit the same behavior with different incident angle for metamaterials as double negative material. We also observed that the frequency regimes of zero-transmission bands are different for TE and TM wave with the same incident angle, when one of metamaterials is the permittivity negative (ε < 0) and the other is the double negative. Correspondingly, we show that the result can be act as an efficient polarization splitter. At last, we discuss the resonant tunneling effect. If the total reflection condition is satisfied, the resonant tunneling effect is enhanced as the incident angle increases, even though the propagation wave is evanescent wave in the single layer medium.  相似文献

The band structures of Fibonacci sequence composed of single-negative materials are studied with a transfer matrix method. A new type of omnidirectional single-negative gaps is found in the Fibonacci sequence. In contrast to the Bragg gaps, such an omnidirectional single-negative gap is insensitive to the incident angles and polarization, and is invariant upon the change of the ratio of the thicknesses of two media. It is found that omnidirectional single-negative gap exists in the other Fibonacci sequence, and it is rather stable and independence of the structure sequence.  相似文献

A special kind of one-dimensional (1D) magnetic photonic crystal (MPC) is investigated. The refractive indices of the alternating layers in such a MPC are equal. As a result, the stop-band edges of TE mode coincide with those of TM mode, and the stop-bands for both modes expand as the incident angle increases. Based on the incident angle domain method, the omnidirectional total reflection (ODTR) band determined by the wave impedance ratio between the composites can be enlarged substantially using a heterostructure in which the stop-band edges of the sub-PCs can be completely adjacent at any incident angle. Moreover, the requirement of ODTR of each sub-PC is unnecessary, which extends the range of materials; that is, the wave impedance ratio between the composites and the refractive index ratio between the composites and the incident media can be much lower than that required in a single periodic structure.  相似文献

利用一维光子晶体的透射率公式,计算出一维光子晶体掺杂后TE波和TM波缺陷模的波长随入射角的响应曲线、缺陷模透射峰随入射角的响应曲线、缺陷模透射峰随入射波长的响应曲线.研究发现,TE波和TM波的缺陷模透射峰均随入射角的增加而向短波方向移动;TE波缺陷模透射峰的半高宽度(FWHM)和峰值随入射角的增加而减小,而TM波缺陷模透射峰的半高宽度(FWHM)和峰值确随入射角的增加而增加;对TM波其波长为λ0的缺陷模也存在明显的“广义布儒斯特角”现象, TE波的缺陷模不存在“广义布儒斯特角”现象.  相似文献

The transmission properties of a one-dimensional (1D) photonic crystal containing two kinds of single-negative (permittivity or permeability negative) material with an inserted array of defects (RHM and LHM) were presented by the transfer matrix method (TMM). The dependence of the defect modes on the structure parameters was discussed by using the TMM. In contrast to the Bragg gaps, the properties (the central frequency and width of the gap) of zero effective phase (zeroφeff) and gap are invariant with a change in scale length and insensitive to the incident angles. The property of the periodic defect modes in the SNG host periodic structure was studied. It illustrates that the defect modes properties changed more by insert periodic defect than by single-media defect. The defect modes are sensitive to the parameters of the defect layers and the incident angle.  相似文献

用传输矩阵法计算了一维光子晶体带隙结构对不同偏振态入射光的角度和波长响应. 结果表明,对P偏振态,带隙的宽度明显小于S偏振态. 对于角度响应,两种偏振态有相同的变化趋势,但变化量不同. 而对于波长响应,两种偏振态表现出不同的变化趋势. 引入了“广义布儒斯特角”的概念. 理论分析表明,当光以此角射入光子晶体时,S偏振态入射光的禁带完全保留,而P偏振态入射光的禁带完全消失,从而可以在S偏振态入射光的禁带背景中用P偏振态入射光获得受主掺杂模式. 同时还给出了实验验证结果. 关键词: 体积全息图 光子晶体 偏振  相似文献
