采用双声光调制器光路快速偏转技术与自准直光栅法实现CO_2激光全波段快调谐同光路输出。首先对声光调制器特性进行实验研究,结果显示:声光调制器偏转角度约为4. 4°,与运用布拉格方程计算结果相符;且激光单次通过声光调制器移频量为40. 68 MHz,与声光驱动器射频频率一致,将激光往返多次经声光调制器的移频量叠加。进而,开展基于声光调制器的CO_2激光快调谐实验研究,运用两个对称布置的同驱动频率声光调制器补偿声光移频,实现偏转光路振荡输出,运用光栅法在直线光路中实现激光全波段可调谐输出。最终,在声光调制器时序控制下,实现双波长激光快调谐同光路输出,选定激光波长的切换时间约为1 ms,脉宽小于300 ns,且双波长切换速度不受CO_2激光跃迁谱带的限制。 相似文献

用对硝基偶氮苯类为侧链的键合型聚合物,采用高温电晕极化的方法制作电光薄膜,设计并构造极化聚合物薄膜电光调制器。当通光方向和极化方向平行并且垂直于极化聚合物薄膜的表面时,利用法布里-帕罗(F-P)腔中多光束干涉,可以把通过的光由位相调制转化为强度调制,有利于电光调制器的小型化和高速封装。用这种聚合物薄膜电光调制器测量了锢锡氧化物共面波导上的电信号,并对系统的工作原理进行了分析。实验结果表明,薄膜调制器具有线性电光效应;当F-P腔的精细因子为20(为1.3μm的光),调制电场为1V/μm时,研制的极化聚合物电光调制器的调制深度可达到0.01%。 相似文献

实现了使用3个级联的光纤Bragg光栅外腔半导体激光器3波长同时激射.3条谱线的峰值波长取决于光纤Bragg光栅的峰值反射波长,分别为1 531.5 nm、1 549.4 nm与1 554.8 nm.注入电流为52 mA时,激光器总输出功率为1 mW.该激光器的主要优点包括,由于输出波长被锁定在光纤Bragg光栅的Bragg波长上,因此输出波长稳定,谱线窄,成本低.可应用于多波长干涉测量以及全光通信等领域中. 相似文献

A novel intra-cavity fiber laser system is demonstrated for multi-point gas detection. The laser uses fiber Bragg gratings as wavelength-selective cavity mirrors and a tunable filter to tune the operating wavelength to the Bragg wavelength of a selected Bragg grating. The Bragg wavelengths of the gratings are chosen to be aligned to different absorption lines of a gas or gases, allowing gas concentrations at multiple locations to be determined. 相似文献

Novel Bragg grating waveguide structures have been fabricated in bulk borosilicate glass through a type II photosensitivity mechanism driven by single femtosecond laser pulses. Low-loss single-mode waveguides and narrow-linewidth Bragg gratings were generated simultaneously by forming an array of refractive index voxels in a single laser scan. Laser pulse duration is shown to significantly affect the grating strength and waveguide loss. Bragg wavelengths, defined by the periodicity of laser-modified volumes, were fully controlled by the sample scan speed to provide resonances anywhere in the 1200-1620 nm telecommunication bands. Four linear Bragg filters with distinct resonant wavelengths are presented that define the first demonstration of laser writing of multiple-wavelength and cascaded Bragg grating waveguides in a single process step. 相似文献

半导体激光器管芯与光纤光栅的对接耦合对光纤光栅外腔激光器的特性起到关键作用。利用散射矩阵分析了激光器管芯与光纤光栅外腔的对接耦合,发现对接的距离以及对接的耦合效率决定了光纤光栅外腔激光器的性能。在强反馈情况下,激射波长在光纤光栅外腔有效反射率决定的布喇格波长内随对接耦合距离周期性的变化,对弱反馈情况则有些不同。同时对比了两种情况的边模抑制比。该分析为实际制作器件提供了指导。 相似文献

采用DFB分布反馈结构的有机激光由于其自身优点备受关注,而利用高阶布拉格反馈的多光束有机激光及其原理鲜有报道。不同于以往的低阶布拉格反馈形成单波导或单光束激光,本文通过在平面有机半导体波导引入高阶布拉格反馈分别制备了红色和蓝色多束有机激光器。利用四阶布拉格反馈和PVK:DCJTI薄膜实现三光束红光激光器,出射角度为±53°和0.5°。利用五阶布拉格反馈和PS:DSA-ph薄膜实现四光束蓝光激光器,出射角度为±18°和±75°。融合平面波导与光栅耦合的机理,研究了高阶布拉格光栅反馈与器件特性之间的关系。结果表明,理论计算的光束耦合角度和实际测试相符,结果在一定程度上为多光束有机激光器件的设计提供了参考。 相似文献

A simplified model consisting of a laser diode, air gap, and optical fiber is used to calculate power and spectral characteristics and the band width of the radiation of laser with fiber Bragg grating. The results of the simplified model are in reasonable agreement with the experimental data on power and spectral characteristics. A single-mode fiber laser based on an intracavity core-cladding mode conversion is demonstrated. The fiber laser consists of an Er-doped active fiber and two fiber Bragg gratings. One Bragg grating is a core-cladding mode converter, and the other Bragg grating is a narrowband high reflector that selects the lasing wavelength. Coupling a single core mode and a single cladding mode by the grating mode converter, the laser operates as a hybrid single-mode laser. This approach for designing a laser cavity provides a much larger mode area than conventional large-mode-area step-index fibers. 相似文献

Distributed feedback lasing characteristics of oxazine dye in zirconia waveguides and in solutions were investigated. Oxazine-dye-doped waveguides were characterized by ellipsometry. Intensity modulation and polarization modulation were used to generate laser action. Tunable narrow line width laser action was achieved for the first, second, third and fourth Bragg orders. It was observed that the threshold pump energy decreased with the decrease of the Bragg order. The degree of polarization of the laser output also changed from 0.8 at the third Bragg order to 0.1 at the first Bragg order. The interaction of a laser pulse with resonant Bragg lattice is studied theoretically for arbitrary initial conditions on the field, inverse population, and polarization of a medium. It is shown that the oscillating 2π self-induced transparency Bragg pulse can form if the Bragg conditions are exactly met. We demonstrated a fiber sensing system using the method of wavelength locking of two identical fibers Bragg gratings (FBG) to interrogate the wavelength shift by directly measuring the intensity of the reflection from the sensing Bragg grating. The light source of the fiber sensing system is an EDFA fiber ring laser pumped by a 980 nm laser diode and a narrow bandwidth fiber Bragg grating for the filter of the ring laser resonator. The wavelength shift is converted to the intensity deviation of the reflection from the sensing FBG under strain variation, and is able to achieve real-time sensing of the dynamic strain sensing in civil engineering. The characteristics and key factors to maintain stability of the dynamic strain sensing system are discussed. 相似文献
