The nonlinear Schr?dinger(NLS) equation and Boussinesq equation are two very important integrable equations.They have widely physical applications. In this paper, we investigate a nonlinear system, which is the two-component NLS equation coupled to the Boussinesq equation. We obtain the bright–bright, bright–dark, and dark–dark soliton solutions to the nonlinear system. We discuss the collision between two solitons. We observe that the collision of bright–bright soliton is inelastic and two solitons oscillating periodically can happen in the two parallel-traveling bright–bright or bright–dark soliton solution. The general breather and rogue wave solutions are also given. Our results show again that there are more abundant dynamical properties for multi-component nonlinear systems.  相似文献

As a new subject, soliton theory is shown to be an effective tool for describing and explaining nonlinear phenomena in nonlinear optics, super conductivity, plasma physics, magnetic fluid, etc. Thus, the study of soliton equations has always been one of the most prominent events in the field of nonlinear science during the past few years. Moreover, it is important to seek the lattice soliton equation and study its properties. In this study, firstly, we derive a discrete integrable system by using the Tu model. In this paper, a new nonlinear integrable coupling system of the soliton hierarchy is presented. From the Lax pairs, the coupled KdV equations are constructed successfully. Based on the prolongation method of Wahlquist and Estabrook, we study the prolongation structure of the nonlinear integrable couplings of the KdV equation.  相似文献

The interactions between solitary waves and impurities have been studied experimentally in a 1D nonlinear coupled pendulum chain under vertical excitation. The mass and the coupling are unique, except a single pendulum with length impurity in the chain. The experiment reveals: the long impurity repels breather and attracts kink while the short one attracts breather and repels kink under higher frequency driving, and the long impurity attracts breather and repels kink while the short one repels breather and attracts kink under the lower frequency driving. These results prove the current theoretical prediction based on continuum-limit approximation.  相似文献

The dynamics of a dark soliton has been investigated in a Bose-Einstein condensate with an external magnetic trap,and the effects of localized impurity on the dynamics are discussed by the variational approach based on the renormalized integrals of motion.The reciprocal movement of the dark soliton is discussed by performing a standard linear analysis,and it is found that the effects of the localized impurity depend strictly on the positive or negative value of the impurity strength corresponding to the repulsive or attractive impurity.The numerical results confirm the theoretical analysis,and show that the effects also depend on the effective nonlinear coefficient and the harmonic frequency.  相似文献

In this paper, to construct exact solution of nonlinear partial differential equation, an easy-to-use approach is proposed. By means of the transformation of the independent variables and the travelling wave transformation, the partial differential equation is reduced to an ordinary differential equation. To solve the ordinary differential equation, we assume the soliton solution in the explicit expression and obtain the travelling wave solution. By the transformation back to the original independent variables, the soliton solution of the original partial differential equation is derived. We investigate the short wave model for the Camassa-Holm equation and the Degasperis-Procesi equation respectively. One-cusp soliton solution of the Camassa-Flolm equation is obtained. One-loop soliton solution of the Degasperis- Procesi equation is also obtained, the approximation of which in a closed form can be obtained firstly by the Adomian decomposition method. The obtained results in a parametric form coincide perfectly with those given in the present reference. This illustrates the efficiency and reliability of our approach.  相似文献

In the present paper, we established a traveling wave solution by using modified Kudryashov method for the space-time fractional nonlinear partial differential equations. The method is used to obtain the exact solutions for different types of the space-time fractional nonlinear partial differential equations such as, the space-time fractional coupled equal width wave equation(CEWE) and the space-time fractional coupled modified equal width wave equation(CMEW), which are the important soliton equations. Both equations are reduced to ordinary differential equations by the use of fractional complex transform and properties of modified Riemann–Liouville derivative. We plot the exact solutions for these equations at different time levels.  相似文献

A high order energy preserving scheme for a strongly coupled nonlinear Schrōdinger system is roposed by using the average vector field method. The high order energy preserving scheme is applied to simulate the soliton evolution of the strongly coupled Schrōdinger system. Numerical results show that the high order energy preserving scheme can well simulate the soliton evolution, moreover, it preserves the discrete energy of the strongly coupled nonlinear Schrōdinger system exactly.  相似文献

A nonlinear Schrdinger equation in one-dimensional bead chain is first obtained and an envelope solitary wave of the system is verified numerically in this system. The reflection and the transmission of an incident envelope solitary wave due to impurities has also been investigated. It is found that the magnitudes of both the reflection and the transmission not only depend on the characters of impurity materials, the wave number, the incident wave amplitude, but also on the impurity number. This can be used to detect the character and the number of the impurity materials in the bead chain by measuring the reflection and the transmission of an incident pulse.  相似文献
