In this paper, we consider a charged rotating AdS black holes in four dimensions and study the effects of leading-order thermal corrections on the thermodynamics of such system explicitly. The first-order corrected thermodynamical quantities also satisfy the first-law of thermodynamics of the black holes. The holographic duality between the charged rotating AdS black holes and Van der Waals fluid is also emphasized through the \(P-v\) diagram. Finally, we study the effects of the leading-order thermal corrections on the stability of the charged rotating black holes.  相似文献

We have investigated the microscopic interpretations of the entropies for the four-dimensional extremal Kaluza-Klein AdS black hole and its higher-dimensional generalizations by using the Kerr/CFT correspondence. These newly-found Kaluza-Klein AdS black holes are charged rotating asymptotically AdS black hole solutions of gauged supergravity in four and higher dimensions. With suitable boundary conditions on the perturbations of the near-horizon geometry, it is shown that the asymptotic symmetry generators form a two-dimensional Virasoro algebra with a central term. By utilizing the central charge and the temperature of the dual conformal field theory, Cardy formula reproduces the expected Bekenstein-Hawking entropy. Directly working on the ordinary metrics of the extremal Kaluza-klein AdS black holes without taking the near-horizon limit, we also re-derive their microscopic entropies.  相似文献

We study the Hawking radiation of spherically symmetric, asymptotically flat black holes in the infrared modified Ho?ava–Lifshitz gravity by applying the methods of covariant anomaly cancelation and effective action, as well as the approach of Damour–Ruffini–Sannan’s. These black holes behave as the usual Schwarzschild ones of general relativity when the radial distance is very large. We also extend the method of covariant anomaly cancelation to derive the Hawking temperature of the spherically symmetric, asymptotically AdS black holes that represent the analogues of the Schwarzschild AdS ones.  相似文献

利用Fan和Liang(Fan Z Y,Liang H Z 2019 Phys.Rev.D 100086016)研究一般高阶导数引力复杂度的方法,对临界中性Gauss-Bonnet-anti-de Sitter(Gauss-Bonnet-anti-de Sitter,AdS)黑洞的复杂度演化进行研究,并且将研究结果和一般中性Gauss-Bonnet-AdS黑洞的结果进行了比较.研究发现,二者的复杂度演化的整体规律是一致的,它们的主要区别在无量纲的临界时间上.对于五维的临界中性Gauss-Bonnet-AdS黑洞,当黑洞视界面为平面或者球面时,不同大小的黑洞的无量纲的临界时间相同,都取到了最小值.当维度超过五维时,不同大小的球对称临界中性Gauss-Bonnet-AdS黑洞的无量纲临界时间的差异明显要比一般的情况小.这些差异很可能和中性Gauss-Bonnet-AdS黑洞的临界性有关.  相似文献

A recently proposed holographic duality allows the Bekenstein–Hawking entropy of extremal rotating black holes to be calculated microscopically, by applying the Cardy formula to the two-dimensional chiral CFTs associated with certain reparameterisations of azimuthal angular coordinates in the solutions. The central charges are proportional to the angular momenta of the black hole, and so the method degenerates in the case of static (non-rotating) black holes. We show that the method can be extended to encompass such charged static extremal AdS black holes by using consistent Kaluza–Klein sphere reduction ansatze to lift them to exact solutions in the low-energy limits of string theory or M-theory, where the electric charges become reinterpreted as angular momenta associated with internal rotations in the reduction sphere. We illustrate the procedure for the examples of extremal charged static AdS black holes in four, five, six and seven dimensions.  相似文献

The AdS/CFT correspondence may give a new way of understanding field theories in extreme conditions, as in the quark–gluon plasma phase of quark matter. The correspondence normally involves asymptotically AdS black holes with dual field theories which are defined on locally flat boundary spacetimes; the implicit assumption is that the distortions of spacetime which occur under extreme conditions do not affect the field theory in any unexpected way. However, AdS black holes are [to varying degrees] fragile, in the sense that they become unstable to stringy effects when their event horizons are sufficiently distorted. This implies that field theories on curved backgrounds may likewise be unstable in a suitable sense. We investigate this phenomenon, focussing on the “fragility” of AdS5 black holes with flat event horizons. We find that, when they are distorted, these black holes are always unstable in string theory. This may have consequences for the detailed structure of the quark matter phase diagram at extreme values of the spacetime curvature.  相似文献

In this paper,we find the information loss for QCD matter in AdS black holes at LHC by extending the Gottesman and Preskill methode to AdS black holes.We calculate the information transformation from the collapsing matter to the state of outgoing Hawking radiation for both quarks and gluons.It is noticed that for finite values of quark and gluon energies,information from all emission processes experiences some degrees of loss.Possible explanation for this feature will be presented in this paper.  相似文献

We investigate the massive vector particles' Hawking radiation from the neutral rotating Anti-de Sitter(AdS) black holes in conformal gravity by using the tunneling method.It is well known that the dynamics of massive vector particles are governed by the Proca field equation.Applying WKB approximation to the Proca equation,the tunneling probabilities and radiation spectrums of the emitted particles are derived.Hawking temperature of the neutral rotating AdS black holes in conformal gravity is recovered,which is consistent with the previous result in the literature.  相似文献

In this study, the gravitational decoupling approach via extended geometric deformation is utilized to generate analytical black hole solutions owing to its simplicity and effectiveness. Considering the external fields surrounding Schwarzschild AdS black holes, we derive hairy black hole solutions in asymptotic AdS spacetime, satisfying the strong and dominant energy conditions. Moreover, we find that if the black hole spacetime is a fluid system, the fluid under each of these conditions is anisotropic.  相似文献

We study holographic superconductors in the Schwarzschild–AdS black hole with a global monopole through a charged complex scalar field. We calculate the condensates of the charged operators in the dual conformal field theories (CFTs) and discuss the effects of the global monopole on the condensation formation. Moreover, we compute the electric conductive using the probe approximation and find that the properties of the conductive are quite similar to those in the Schwarzschild–AdS black hole. These results can help us know more about holographic superconductors in the asymptotic AdS black holes.  相似文献

We show that there is a close correspondence between the physical properties of holographic metals near charged black holes in anti-de Sitter (AdS) space, and the fractionalized Fermi liquid phase of the lattice Anderson model. The latter phase has a "small" Fermi surface of conduction electrons, along with a spin liquid of local moments. This correspondence implies that certain mean-field gapless spin liquids are states of matter at nonzero density realizing the near-horizon, AdS? × R2 physics of Reissner-Nordstr?m black holes.  相似文献

In this paper, we visit the thermodynamic criticality and thermodynamic curvature of the charged AdS black hole in a new phase space. It is shown that when the square of the total charge of the charged black hole is considered as a thermodynamic quantity, the charged AdS black hole also admits a van der Waals-type critical behavior without the help of thermodynamic pressure and thermodynamic volume. Based on this, we study the fine phase structures of the charged AdS black hole with fixed AdS background in the new framework. On the one hand, we give the phase diagram structures of the charged AdS black hole accurately and analytically, which fills up the gap in dealing with the phase transition of the charged AdS black holes by taking the square of the charge as a thermodynamic quantity. On the other hand, we analyse the thermodynamic curvature of the black hole in two coordinate spaces. The thermodynamic curvatures obtained in two different coordinate spaces are equivalent to each other and are also positive. Based on an empirical conclusion under the framework of thermodynamic geometry, we speculate that when the square of charge is treated as an independent thermodynamic quantity, the charged AdS black hole is likely to present a repulsive between its molecules. More importantly, based on the thermodynamic curvature, we obtain a universal exponent at the critical point of phase transition.  相似文献

We compute the physical charges and discuss the properties of a large class of five-dimensional extremal AdS black holes by using the near horizon data. Our examples include baryonic and electromagnetic black branes, as well as supersymmetric spinning black holes. In the presence of the gauge Chern-Simons term, the five-dimensional physical charges are the Page charges. We carry out the near horizon analysis and compute the four-dimensional charges of the corresponding black holes by using the entropy function formalism and show that they match the Page charges.  相似文献

Significant evidence is presented in favor of the holographic conjecture that "4D black holes localized on the brane found by solving the classical bulk equations in AdS5 are quantum corrected black holes and not classical ones." The quantum correction to the Newtonian potential is computed using a numerical computation of in Schwarzschild spacetime for matter fields in the zero-temperature Boulware vacuum state. For the conformally invariant scalar field the leading order term is equivalent to that previously obtained in the weak-field approximation using Feynman diagrams and which has been shown to be equivalent, via the anti-de Sitter space/conformal-field-theory (AdS/CFT) duality, to the analogous calculation in Randall-Sundrum braneworlds. The 4D backreaction equations are used to make a prediction about the existence and the possible spacetime structure of macroscopic static braneworld black holes.  相似文献

With the cosmological constant considered as a thermodynamic variable in the extended phase space, it is natural to study the thermodynamic cycles of the black hole, which is conjectured to be performed using renormalization group flow. We first investigate the thermodynamic cycles of a 4-dimensional asymptotically AdS f(R) black hole. Then we study the thermodynamic cycles of higher dimensional asymptotically AdS f(R) black holes. It is found that when ΔV ? ΔP, the efficiency of isobar-isochore cycles running between high temperature TH and low temperature TC will increase to its maximum value, which is exactly the Carnot cycles’ efficiency both in 4-dimensional and in higher dimensional cases. We speculate that this property is universal for AdS black holes, if there is no phase transition in the thermodynamic cycle. This result may deepen our understanding of the thermodynamics of the AdS black holes.  相似文献
