The energy-momentum distributions of Einstein's simplest static geometrical model for an isotropic and homogeneous universe are evaluated. For this purpose, Einstein, Bergmann-Thomson, Landau-Lifshitz (LL), Moller and Papapetrou energy-momentum complexes are used in general relativity. While Einstein and Bergmann-Thomson complexes give exactly the same results, LL and Papapetrou energy-momentum complexes do not provide the same energy densities. The Moller energy-momentum density is found to be zero everywhere in Einstein's universe. Also, several spacetimes are the limiting cases considered here.  相似文献

Using the Mφ11er energy-momentum definition in general relativity (GR) we calculate the total energy-momentum distribution associated with (n 4- 2)-dimensional homogeneous and isotropic model of the universe. It is found that total energy of M~ller is vanishing in (n 4- 2) dimensions everywhere but n-momentum components of Mφ11er in (n 4- 2) dimensions are different from zero. Also, we evaluate the static Einstein Universe, FRW universe and de Sitter universe in four dimensions by using (n 4- 2)-type metric, then calculate the Mφ11er energy-momentum distribution of these spacetimes. However, our results are consistent with the results of Banerjee and Sen, Xulu, Radinschi, Vargas, Cooperstock-Israelit, A ygiin et al., Rosen, and Johri et al. in four dimensions.  相似文献

Unlike usual celestial gravitational waves, the relic gravitational waves (RGWs) form random signals in curved spacetime background. We calculate the energy-momentum pseudo-tensor of a certain component of the RGWs propagating along arbitrary directions in Cartesian coordinates. It is found that the energy density of RGWs is positive definitely, and the momentum density components have reasonable behaviour. Such results may provide a theoretical basis for the detection of RGWs.  相似文献

A theory of(N+1)-dimensional gravity is developed on the basis of the teleparallel equivalent of general relativity(TEGR).The fundamental gravitational field variables are the(N+1)-dimensional vector fields, defined globally on a manifold M,and the gravitational field is attributed to the torsion. The form of Lagrangian density is quadratic in torsion tensor. We then give an exact five-dimensional spherically symmetric solution(Schwarzschild(4+1)-dimensions).Finally,we calculate energy and spatial momentum using gravitational energy-momentum tensor and superpotential 2-form.  相似文献

A theory of (1+1)-dimensional gravity is constructed on the basis of the teleparallel equivalent of general relativity. The fundamental field variables are the tetrad fields e i μ and the gravity is attributed to the torsion.A dilatonic spherically symmetric exact solution of the gravitational field equations characterized by two parameters M and Q is derived. The energy associated with this solution is calculated using the two-dimensional gravitational energy-momentum formula.  相似文献

We apply the energy momentum and angular momentum tensor to a tetrad field, with two unknown functions of radial coordinate,in the framework of a teleparallel equivalent of general relativity(TEGR).The definition of the gravitational energy is used to investigate the energy within the external event horizon of the dyadosphere region for the Reissner-Nordstrm black hole.We also calculate the spatial momentum and angular momentum.  相似文献

The energy of the stationary axisymmetric Einstein-Maxwell dilation-axion (EMDA) black hole is studied in the context of the Hamiltonian formulation of the teleparallel equivalence of general relativity (TEGR). The energy expression for the finite and arbitrary space-like two spheres is exactly computed by means of the integral form of the constraint equations of the formalism naturally without any restriction on the metric parameters. We also show that our results give the same values obtained by other methods for some special cases.  相似文献

Based on gauge principle, a new model on quantum gravity is proposed in the frame work of quantum gauge theory of gravity. The model has local gravitational gauge symmetry, and the field equation of the gravitational gauge field is just the famous Einstein‘s field equation. Because of this reason, this model is called quantum gauge general relativity, which is the consistent unification of quantum theory and general relativity. The model proposed in this paper is a perturbatively renormalizable quantum gravity, which is one of the most important advantage of the quantum gauge general relativity proposed in this paper. Another important advantage of the quantum gauge general relativity is that it can explain both classical tests of gravity and quantum effects of gravitational interactions, such as gravitational phase effects found in COW experiments and gravitational shielding effects found in Podkletnov experiments.  相似文献

Using nonlinear electrodynamics coupled to teleparallel theory of gravity, regular charged spherically symmetric solutions are obtained. The nonlinear theory is reduced to the Maxwell one in the weak limit and the solutions correspond to charged spacetimes. One of the obtained solutions contains an arbitrary function which we call general solution since we can generate from it the other solutions. The metric associated with these spacetimes is the same, i.e., regular charged static spherically symmetric black hole. In calculating the energy content of the general solution using the gravitational energy--momentum within the framework of the teleparallel geometry, we find that the resulting form depends on the arbitrary function. Using the regularized expression of the gravitational energy--momentum we obtain the value of energy.  相似文献

The aim of this study is to investigate the energy-momentum distributions of texture and monopole topological defects metrics in general relativity (GR). For this aim Einstein, Bergmann-Thomson, Landau-Lifshitz (LL), M?ller and Papapetrou energy-momentum densities have been used in general relativity theory. We obtained that (i) for the texture metric only Einstein and Bergmann-Thomson energy densities give the same results but the others energy and momentum densities do not provide the same results in GR; (ii) for the monopole metric, while Einstein, Bergmann-Thomson and Papapetrou energy and momentum densities are giving the same energy-momentum results, M?ller and Landau-Lifshitz densities do not give the same energy results with the other definitions in GR.  相似文献

The energy--momentum tensor, which is coordinate-independent, is used to calculate energy, momentum and angular momentum of two different tetrad fields. Although, the two tetrad fields reproduce the same space--time their energies are different. Therefore, a regularized expression of the gravitational energy--momentum tensor of the teleparallel equivalent of general relativity (TEGR), is used to make the energies of the two tetrad fields equal. The definition of the gravitational energy--momentum is used to investigate the energy within the external event horizon. The components of angular momentum associated with these space--times are calculated. In spite of using a static space--time, we get a non-zero component of angular momentum! Therefore, we derive the Killing vectors associated with these space--times using the definition of the Lie derivative of a second rank tensor in the framework of the TEGR to make the picture more clear.  相似文献

It has been shown recently that within the framework of the teleparallel equivalent of general relativity (TEGR) it is possible to define the energy density of the gravitational field in a unique way. The tegr amounts to an alternative formulation of Einstein's general relativity, not to an alternative gravity theory. The localizability of the gravitational energy has been investigated in a number of spacetimes with distinct topologies, and the outcome of these analyses agree with previously known results regarding the exact expression of the gravitational energy, and/or with the specific properties of the spacetime manifold. In this article we establish a relationship between the expression of the gravitational energy density of the TEGR and the Sparling two-forms, which are known to be closely connected with the gravitational energy. We will also show that our expression of energy yields the correct value of gravitational mass contained in the conformal factor of the metric field.  相似文献

We derive two new retarded solutions in the teleparallel theory equivalent to general relativity (TEGR).One of these solutions gives a divergent energy. Therefore,we use the regularized expression of the gravitational energymomentum tensor, which is a coordinate dependent.A detailed analysis of the loss of the mass of Bondi space-time is carried out using the flux of the gravitational energy-momentum.  相似文献

We find the most general tetrads which give a regular charged spacetime in tetrad theory of gravitation. The metric is a static one and it includes the Schwarzschild and Fteissner Nordstrom black holes. The energy content contained in a sphere of radius R is calculated using the superpotential given by Mφller in the context of Weitzenbock spacetime.  相似文献
