Experimental data on the heat capacity of the Bi2SiO5 oxide compound and eutectic compositions 75 mol % Bi2O3 + 25 mol % SiO2 and 65 mol % Bi2O3 + 35 mol % GeO2 have been obtained for a wide temperature range.  相似文献

The Yb-doped Bi2O3–GeO2 glasses were prepared by the conventional melt quenching technique. Near-infrared (NIR) broadband emission was found at about 1024 nm, and 1330 nm (under 785 nm excitation), and the measured fluorescent lifetime was about several hundred microseconds. The emission intensity of Yb-doped Bi2O3–GeO2 glasses increased with increasing of Yb dopant in our experiments. The NIR emission should be related to Yb3+ and lower valence Bi ions.  相似文献

(Bi1/2Na1/2)TiO3 ceramics (BNT) with 0–6 mol% of excess Bi2O3 are prepared by conventional solid-state sintering. The electrical properties of the samples are examined. The addition of excess Bi2O3 reduces the leakage current of BNT ceramics significantly, thus facilitating the poling process, and improves their piezoelectric properties slightly for certain amounts of added Bi2O3. BNT ceramics have very high dielectric constants and dissipation factors at low frequency and high temperature due to their high conductivity. Adding excess Bi2O3 to BNT ceramics affects their dielectric behavior and phase transition temperatures. Grain growth is suppressed by adding Bi2O3 and no second phase is observed for BNT ceramics with up to 6 mol% of excess Bi2O3 added.  相似文献

MgO-Li2O-Bi2O3-B2O3 glasses were prepared by melt quench technique and analyzed with the help of refractive index, optical, IR, and Raman spectroscopy studies. The present glasses exhibited the mixed modifier effect (MME) through refractive index change non-linearly. The variation in the indirect optical band gap and band tailing in MgO content have been discussed with the glass structure. Based on the obtained values of αo2-, optical basicity, and interaction parameters, the present glasses were termed as very semi covalent acidic oxide glasses. Raman and Infrared spectra reveal that these glasses are built up of BO3, BO4 units of B2O3 and octahedral [BiO6], pyramidal [BiO3] units of Bi2O3 were observed.  相似文献

用高温熔融法制备了Bi离子掺杂浓度为1mol%的GeO-B2O3-Na2O (GBNB),GeO2-Al2O3-Na2O(GANB),GeO2-Al2O3-BaO(GABB)和GeO2-Al2O3-Y2O3(GAYB)玻璃.测定了样品玻璃的差热曲线、吸收、发射光谱及荧光衰减曲线.实验发现GBNB,GANB,GAYB,GABB的吸收边带逐步发生红移.由于这些吸收边带是由Bi3+的6s2电子到Bi5+ 6s0空轨道的跃迁引起.因此推断GBNB,GANB,GAYB,GABB玻璃中Bi5+离子的含量逐步增加.在GABB,GAYB,GANB三个样品中观察到发光中心约1220nm超宽带荧光发射.荧光强度从GABB,GAYB,GANB逐步减弱,荧光半高宽和荧光寿命逐步变小.这些超宽带的荧光归属为Bi5+离子的发光所致.从吸收与荧光光谱的变化,推断在GeO2-Al2O3玻璃中引入BaO,Y2O3组分有利于Bi5+离子的形成.讨论了BaO,Y2O3化学组分对Bi离子在玻璃中的价态影响的内在机理. 关键词: 5+离子')" href="#">Bi5+离子 超宽带发光 吸收带 荧光寿命  相似文献

A CaBi4Ti4O15 (CBTO) ceramic in which the Bi2O3 concentration was controlled from 0 to 10 wt% was fabricated using a solid-state reaction method. Structural analysis by field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) indicated differences in the preferred grain orientation and size of the plate-like grains according to the Bi2O3 concentration. The orientation of plate-like grains was also found to vary with the Bi2O3 concentration. There was no noticeable change trend of dielectric properties with different Bi2O3 concentrations. Relatively low dielectric constants (about 135) were exhibited by the CBTO ceramic with 1 wt% Bi2O3 and CBTO ceramic with 10 wt% Bi2O3 only, and similar values (about 150) were exhibited by the other ceramics. The dielectric loss exhibited a low value in the range of 0.01–0.09 for all samples (frequency range of 1–100 kHz). Regarding the ratio changes of the piezoelectric coefficient (d33) and the ratio of a-axis orientation of plate-like grains, the trends of these two values were shown to be similar. These results suggest that the addition of Bi2O3 greatly influences the microstructure of CBTO ceramics, including the grain size and orientation of plate-like grains. In particular, the change in the preferred grain orientation is closely related to the change in the piezoelectric properties.  相似文献

Thermally stimulated luminescence in the Bi4Ge3O12 ceramics and also in the ceramics of the parent components Bi2O3 and GeO2 is investigated. The similarity of the curves of the thermally stimulated luminescence in bismuth germanate with the structure of eulytine Bi4Ge3O12 and sillenite Bi12GeO20 is explained. The relation of the thermally stimulated luminescence band in Bi4Ge3O12 (with a maximum at 143 K) to the disruptions in the germanium sublattice and of the thermally stimulated band (with a maximum at 187 K) to the recombination processes in the bismuth sublattice is shown. It has been established that the light sum in the Bi4Ge3O12 ceramics is stored most effectively upon excitation by light in an energy region of 4.4 eV.  相似文献

The capacitance and voltage characteristics of field effect transistors passivated by BaF2-B2O3-GeO2-SiO2 glasses with various water contents were investigated. As the OH absorption coefficients of the glass increased, adverse effects on the recovery of hysteresisC-V curve shifts was seen. The water content is related to the fluoride content of the BaF2–B2O3–GeO2–SiO2 glass. The viscous flow point of the glass was lowered with increasing ionic character obtained from Hannay's equation. The source-drain current and voltage (I-V) characteristics of typical enhancement and depletion mode field effect transistors passivated with these glasses were investigated.  相似文献

用高温熔融法制备了(99.5-χ) GeO2-χBaO-0.5Bi2O3(χ=3, 6, 9mol%)与(99.5-φ)GeO2-φWO3-0.5Bi2O3(φ=3,6,9mol%)玻璃,测定了样品的发射光谱(800nmLD激发)、吸收光谱、荧光衰减和差热曲线.实验结果表明,在GeO2-WO3-Bi2O3系统玻璃中,随着WO3含量的增加,在1260nm处的发光强度增强,荧光半高宽(FWHM)增宽,荧光寿命增长,而且玻璃的吸收边带发生明显的红移;在GeO2-BaO-Bi2O3系统玻璃中,随着BaO含量的增加,玻璃在1290nm处发光强度增强,FWHM增宽,荧光寿命增长,吸收边带也有明显的红移.从吸收边带发生红移的情况,结合发射光谱和荧光衰减曲线特性,我们推断玻璃样品在近红外的宽带发光可能由Bi5+离子所引起.从荧光特性估算了玻璃的σp×τσp×Δλ值,这些玻璃均具有较小的σp×τ和较大的σp×Δλ特性,说明GeO2-Bi2O3-MOx(MOx=WO3, BaO) 系统玻璃是研制成近红外(O到S波段)超宽带光纤放大器的良好材料.  相似文献

The optical properties of binary and ternary germanate glasses 40.3GeO2-59.7PbO, 31.3GeO2-26.8PbO-41.9Bi2O3 and 31.5GeO2-40.4PbO-28.1Bi2O3 (wt%) doped with Er3+ were investigated. The Judd-Ofelt intensity parameters were calculated and the near-infrared luminescence as well as the upconversion efficiency was analyzed. We observed that the ternary germanate glass containing the highest concentration of Bi2O3 presented the largest emission bandwidth for 4I13/2 → 4I15/2 transition and the highest infrared-to-visible upconversion efficiency among the samples studied. These results demonstrate that not only the presence of Bi2O3 but also the careful choice of its molecular weight plays a key role in optimizing parameters for using germanate glasses for photonics applications.  相似文献

采用高温熔融法制备了xBi2O3-50B2O3-(50-x)BaO玻璃, 测定了样品玻璃的近红外光区的发射谱、荧光寿命以及Raman光谱. 在808 nm波长光的激发下, 50Bi2O3-50B2O3二元玻璃中未观察到近红外发光; 随体系中BaO的加入, 当x为40, 45以及49时, 玻璃样品中观察到了近红外宽带发光现象; BaO含量进一步增加, 当x=10–30时, 近红外发光现象消失; 而当玻璃中Bi浓度很低时, 在0.5Bi2O3-50B2O3-50BaO及1Bi2O3-50B2O3-50BaO玻璃中发现了近红外发光现象, 且存在多个发光峰. 对铋离子近红外发光机理进行了初步的探讨.  相似文献

Perovskite types Ba1−xBi2x/3Ti0.75Zr0.25O3 (with x = 0.0, 0.025, 0.05) ceramics have been prepared through solid state reaction route. The room temperature XRD study suggests that all the compositions have single phase cubic symmetry with space group Pm-3m. Temperature dependent dielectric studies of the ceramics have been investigated in the frequency range of 50 Hz–1 MHz. The densities of the samples are determined using Archimedes’ principle and found to be ∼98% of X-ray density. The dielectric study revealed diffuse phase transition of second order. A broad dielectric anomaly coupled with the shift of dielectric maxima toward a higher temperature with increasing frequency indicates the relaxor-type behavior in the ceramics. The diffusivity increases with increase in Bi contents in the studied composition range. The transition temperature decreases with increase in Bi contents due to the decrease in grain size.  相似文献

The structural, magnetic, dielectric and optical properties of Aurivillius Bi6Fe2Ti3O18-based ceramics were investigated in detail. The replacement of Co for Fe/Ti ions obviously varies the grain morphology. Compared with Bi6Fe2Ti3O18 (BFTO) with antiferromagnetic ordering, a spin glass state can be observed in Bi5.25La0.75Fe2Ti3O18 ceramic, while other samples exhibit the ferromagnetic behavior. The specimen Bi6Fe2Ti2(NbCo)0.5O18 (BFTNCO) represents the largest remanent magnetization Mr of 0.93emu/g among all the samples, which can be attributed to the combination of a short lattice parameter c and a large lattice distortion as well as more magnetic ions in a unit cell. The room-temperature dc conductivity of BFTNCO is one order magnitude lower than that of BFTO. In addition, the band gaps of Co-doped samples are about 0.2eV smaller than these of Co-free samples. This work provides a promising path forward to tailor the multiferroic and optical properties in five-layered Aurivillius compounds.  相似文献

(40?x)Na2O-xCuO-10Bi2O3-50P2O5 glasses (0 h x h 40) were prepared and studied. Their density, molar volume, glass transition temperature and IR spectroscopy have been investigated in order to understand the structural role of Bi2O3 and CuO in these glasses. In the sodium bismo-phosphate glass, the structures consist of some phosphate chains linked together through P-O-Bi bonds. When copper oxide is added to sodium bismo-phosphate glass, phosphate chains are depolymerised by the incorporation of Cu through P-O-Cu bonds. The former bonds are the origin of the partial glass forming ability of Bi3+ and Cu2+.  相似文献

Ultraviolet and visible absorption spectra of prepared undoped lithium phosphate glass and samples of the same nominal composition with additional Bi2O3 contents were measured before and after being subjected to gamma doses of 3 and 6 Mrad. The base undoped lithium phosphate glass exhibits strong charge transfer ultraviolet absorption bands, which are related to unavoidable presence of trace iron impurities within the raw materials for the preparation of this glass. Bi2O3-containing glasses show the extension of UV absorption beside the resolution of visible bands at 400, 450, and 700 nm with the increase of Bi2O3 content due the sharing of absorption of Bi3+ ions. Gamma irradiation of the base glass reveals extended induced bands; the UV bands are related to the conversion of some Fe2+ to Fe3+ through photochemical reactions during the irradiation process. The visible induced bands are related to the formation of positive hole centers from the host phosphate glass. Glasses containing Bi2O3 are observed to show some shielding behavior, which is attributed to the presence of heavy weight and large atomic number of Bi3+ ions. Infrared absorption spectral measurements of the base lithium phosphate glass show characteristic vibrational modes which are related to specific phosphate groups. The addition of Bi2O3 in measurable percent produces additional vibrational bands due to the introduction of Bi–O groups such as BiO3 and BiO6.  相似文献

The glasses of the composition (40−x) PbO-15Bi2O3-45As2O3-xCoO, with 0≤x≤0.6 mol% in the steps of 0.1 were synthesized. The dielectric properties viz., dielectric constant, loss and ac conductivity over moderately larger ranges of frequency and temperature were investigated. The results were analyzed with the aid of the data on optical absorption and IR spectra. The analysis indicated that there is an increase in the insulating strength of the glasses with increase in the concentration of CoO up to 0.4 mol%.  相似文献

Multi-component bismuth borate glasses doped with vanadium ions 15Li2O-15K2O-xBi2O3-(65−x) B2O3: 5V2O5, (x=3, 5, 7, 10, 12 and 15) have been prepared using conventional melt quench technique. Characterization of the prepared glasses has been done using X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry and density measurements. The effect of Bi2O3 content on the optical properties of the present glass system is studied from the optical absorption spectra recorded in the wavelength range 200-800 nm. The fundamental absorption edge has been identified from the optical absorption spectra. The values of optical band gap for indirect allowed transitions have been determined using available theories. The origin of the Urbach energy is associated with the phonon-assisted indirect transitions. The density and molar volume studies indicate that Bi2O3 in these glasses is acting partly as network modifier and partly as network former. The variations in the optical band gap energies, density and molar volume with Bi2O3 content have been discussed in terms of changes in the glass structure. Values of the theoretical optical basicity, average crosslink density and the average electronic polarizability are also reported.  相似文献

The Mössbauer effect measurements performed on 20Fe2O3 80 3B2O3 (1?x)PbO xGeO2 glasses show that the ratio between the number of ferrous ions to the total number of iron ions decreases by increasing the GeO2 content. The Curie constants calculated from the distribution of iron cations obtained by Mössbauer effect data are in agreement with the values determined from magnetic measurements. Finally, we discuss the influence of the glass composition and melting temperature on the iron valence states.  相似文献

The glasses with composition (50−X)PbO–XSrO-25TiO2-25B2O3 (where X=0, 5, 10 and 15 mol%) were prepared using conventional quenching technique. The Tg, Tc, density and CTE of the glass samples were measured. The Tg observed to increase with increasing concentration of SrO, while the Tc first decreased and then increased. The glass samples were converted to glass ceramics by following two stage heat treatment schedule. The glass ceramic samples were characterized by XRD, SEM and dielectric measurements. The XRD results revealed the formation of ferroelectric lead titanate as a major crystalline phase in glass ceramics. Additional phases observed include Sr2B2O5 and PbB2O4. The room temperature (RT) dielectric constant of glass and glass ceramics are in the range of 100–120 which is promising for capacitor application.  相似文献
