This paper proposes a scheme for implementing the teleportation of an arbitrary unknown two-atom state by using a cluster state of four identical 2-level atoms as quantum channel in a thermal cavity. The two distinct advantages of the present scheme are: (i) The discrimination of 16 orthonormal cluster states in the standard teleportation protocol is transformed into the discrimination of single-atom states. Consequently, the discrimination difficulty of states is degraded. (ii) The scheme is insensitive to the cavity field state and the cavity decay for the thermal cavity is only virtually excited when atoms interact with it. Thus, the scheme is more feasible.  相似文献

A simple scheme for remote preparation of an arbitrary two-atom state in the cavity QED. An arbitrary two-atom entangled state can be prepared perfectly. Our protocol only need single qubit measurement instead of the conventional Bell-state measurement, then it is quite simple but also very robust to the cavity decay and the influence of the thermal field. We propose a scheme for teleporting a two-atom entangled state in cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED). In the scheme, we choose a single Einstein--Podolsky--Rosen (EPR) pair as the quantum channel which is shared by the sender and the receiver. By using the atom--cavity-field interaction and introducing an additional atom, we can teleport the two-atom entangled state successfully with a probability of 1.0. Moreover, we show that the scheme is insensitive to cavity decay and thermal field.  相似文献

A scheme is discussed for probabilistic teleportation of a special type of two-atom pure state - an arbitrary superposition of symmetric two-atom Dicke states. The scheme follows the previous idea [S.B. Zheng, Phys. Rev. A 69 (2004) 064302], which is proposed for approximate and probabilistic teleportation of an atomic state through only a detection on the sender atom. In principle, the present scheme can achieve faithful teleportation by resorting to a very different model, which depicts the resonant interaction of a Λ-type three-level atom with a two-mode cavity field. The scheme can also be used for teleportation of an arbitrary superposition of symmetric multi-atom Dicke states.  相似文献

We propose a scheme for the teleportation of an arbitrary two-atom state by using two pairs of two-atom nonmaximally entangled states as the quantum channel in cavity QED. It is Shown that no matter whether the arbitrary two-atom pure state to be teleported is entangled or not, our teleportation scheme can always be probabilistically realized. In Nie et al. (Int. J. Theor. Phys. 50: 2526, 2011), authors put forward a cavity QED scheme for deterministic quantum state sharing (QSTS) of an arbitrary two-atom state. They claimed that, the quantum channel of the QSTS scheme is a six-atom cluster state. After simple calculation, one can see that the quantum channel they used is a direct product of two three-atom GHZ states. In this paper, we propose a cavity QED scheme for QSTS of an arbitrary two-atom state via a six-atom cluster state channel. In our scheme, two two-atom Bell state measurements are transformed into the discrimination of single-atom product states. Moreover, the two-atom unitary operation is changed to single-qubit unitary operations. Our scheme is insensitive to the cavity decay. The necessary time for the scheme is much shorter than the Rydberg-atom lifespan, therefore atom decays do not need to be considered.  相似文献

We propose a scheme to implement a two-bit conditional quantum phase gate and generate a multi-atom cluster state and a two-atom three-dimensional entangled state based on photon emission and absorption processes. In the scheme, a Λ-type atom and a V-type atom are individually trapped in two spatially separated cavities connected by an optical fiber. By choosing the interaction time and the ratio of coupling parameters appropriately, the gate operation and entanglement generation can be determinately achieved. We also discuss the influence of photon Leakage on the fidelities of the gate and entanglement and show that the scheme is scalable and feasible in the experimental realization and further utilization.  相似文献

We study the entanglement properties of a pair of two-level Rydberg atoms passing one after another into a lossless cavity with two modes. The initial joint state of two successive atoms that enter the cavity is unentangled. Interactions mediated by the cavity field results in the final two-atom mixed entangled type state. The entanglement of formation of the joint two-atom state as a function of the Rabi angle gt is calculated for Fock state field, coherent field and thermal field respectively inside the cavity. We present a comparative study of two-atom entanglement corresponding to the different field statistics.  相似文献

We propose a scheme for implementing conditional quantum phase gates for two four-state atoms trapped in a cavity. The two ground states of the atoms are coupled through two Raman processes induced by the cavity mode and two classical fields. Under certain conditions nonresonant Raman processes lead to two-atom coupling and can be used to produce conditional phase gates. The scheme is insensitive to cavity decay, thermal photons, and atomic spontaneous emission. The scheme does not require individual addressing of the atoms.  相似文献

We propose a scheme for teleportation of an unknown N-atom state using a two-atom entangled state within a cavity QED and show the feasibility in experiment. Our scheme does not involve the Bell-state measurement and is insensitive to the cavity decay, which is important from the experimental point of view. Another feature of the scheme is that teleporting a N-atom state just requires a small amount of entanglement (i,e. a two-atom entangled state) and less classical bits (two bits).  相似文献

提出一种远程制备双原子纠缠态的方案,该方案基于两个原子与单模腔场的同时非共振相互作用.由于双粒子纠缠态比三粒子纠缠态容易制备,方案用两对双原子纠缠态作为量子通道.Alice 拥有的两个相同原子同时与一单模腔场非共振相互作用.Alice已知她要制备的纠缠态,她选择适当的相互作用时间、测量她所拥有的两个原子并通过经典通道通知Bob.Bob引入一个相同的辅助原子和一个单模腔场来实现方案.方案对腔场状态和腔损耗不敏感,基于当前的腔QED 技术,方案能在实验上实现.该方案有望在量子信息过程中有重要的应用价值.  相似文献

We present a scheme for realizing probabilistic teleportation of an unknown N-atom state via cavity QED. This scheme requires only a nonmaximally entangled pair to be used as a quantum channel, so the requirement of entanglement is reduced. In addition, our scheme does not involve the Bell-state measurement and is insensitive to the cavity decay, which is important from the experimental point of view. If the quantum channel is a two-atom maximally entangled state, teleportation of an unknown N-atom state can be realized by a simpler scheme via cavity QED.  相似文献
