以532nm皮秒脉冲作抽运光,采用单光束Z-扫描技术对具有激发态分子内质子转移效应的有机分子2-(2′-羟基苯基)苯并噻唑(HBT)在其双光子吸收区的非线性光学特性进行了研究.实验结果表明,对532nm波长的光,HBT分子存在明显的双光子吸收.通过拟合开孔Z-扫描实验数据,求解了HBT分子在其双光子吸收区的非线性吸收系数,并探讨了抽运光强度对介质双光子吸收效应的影响.采用高斯分解法,通过拟合闭孔Z-扫描除以开孔Z-扫描数据,理论推导并计算了在介质对抽运光存在非线性吸收的情况下HBT分子的非线性折射率,以及不同入射光强度时HBT分子的三阶非线性极化率实部和虚部的值.计算结果表明,理论分析与实验结果较好地符合,这些结果为进一步研究和开发此类材料的应用提供了理论与实验依据.  相似文献

在不同激光脉冲激发下,用Z 扫描法测量了甲苯的三阶光学非线性,发现其非线性折射率随着脉冲宽度增加而增大(从150 fs时的3.7×10-16 cm2/W到4 ns时的2.6×10-14 cm2/W).在波长532 nm、光强4.73×1014 W/m2 和21 ps的脉冲作用下,甲苯溶液呈现反饱和吸收现象.结果表明,该吸收效应主要来自于导致该分子中苯环结构π-π电子跃迁的双光子吸收的贡献.  相似文献

利用开孔Z扫描技术研究了吸收峰分别为553nm和503nm的两种尺寸CdSe/ZnS核-壳结构量子点溶液的非线性吸收性质.对于532nm,6ns激光脉冲,两种材料均表现出饱和吸收向反饱和吸收转化的现象.数值模拟结果表明:当吸收峰波长大于激光波长时,饱和吸收过程由快、慢两种机制组成,分别对应基态载流子被激发至不同的激发态,而强光下的反饱和吸收与快过程相关;当吸收峰波长小于激光波长时,饱和吸收主要由快过程机制引起,强光下的反饱和吸收源自激发态吸收和双光子吸收.我们的研究结果表明半导体量子点是研制光开关和光限制器件的理想候选材料.  相似文献

系统研究了罗丹明6G和罗丹明B的非线性吸收特性和荧光猝灭特性,结果表明它们在532nm的激光波长作用下,呈饱和吸收特性,在355nm的激光波长作用下呈现反饱和吸收特性,通过理论拟合得到了激发态吸收截面和能级寿命;并对荧光猝灭现象进行了解释,首次提出激发态吸收诱导荧光猝灭的理论.  相似文献

采用射频磁控反应溅射技术制备了a-Si/SiN_x超晶格材料,并采用热退火技术对材料进行处理。利用吸收光谱和X射线衍射谱对材料进行表征,结果表明Si层呈现非晶态。为研究材料的三阶非线性光学特性,对材料进行Z扫描研究,测量数据表明,材料的非线性吸收为反饱和吸收,材料非线性折射率呈现为负值,该材料的χ(3)的实部为4.57×10~(-17)C(1.39×10~(-7)esu),虚部为1.49×10~(-17)C(4.48×10~(-8)esu),该极化率数值比体硅材料的χ(3)值大5个数量级。对该材料非线性光学产生的机理进行了研究,认为材料体现出的较强的量子限制效应是非线性极化率增强的主要来源。  相似文献

利用单光束Z扫描技术,在波长532nm、脉宽8ns的条件下研究了新型的金属有机配合物ECuCl2(BOEP)2]的三阶非线性光学性质。由实验结果发现配位化合物虽然没有明显的非线性吸收性质,但是其三阶非线性折射率比相应配体大很多。探讨了配合物的结构和其三阶非线性光学性质的关系,认为配位化合物的丌共轭离域体系的增大和金属中心离子与配体之间的电子转移是配合物具有更大非线性折射率的主要原因。选择具有π键的配体与金属离子合成为配合物,使其非线性效应明显增强,这对合成性能更好的非线性材料有一定的参考价值。  相似文献

以脉冲宽度为35 ps,基频为1064 nm的Nd:YAG锁模激光器二倍频532 nm的激光作激发,利用Z-扫描技术研究了CdSeS量子点的光学非线件特性.实验结果表明CdSeS量子点在532 nm光激发下具有很大的非线性吸收效应,该吸收效应来自于光学三阶效应引起的双光子吸收.在不同的入射光强下观测了CdSeS量子点的Z-扫描曲线,实验表明,CdSeS具有大的非线性折射率1.9×10-8esu和大的双光子吸收截面25283 GM,比现在使用的ZnS量子点高出近2个数量级.  相似文献

采用单光束Z扫描技术对新型光学存储材料偶氮分散红聚合物的薄膜样品进行了测量。实验结果表明 ,该样品的非线性折射率为负值。为消除非线性吸收的影响 ,将实验所得有孔Z扫描曲线除以开孔Z扫描曲线进行了处理。从Z扫描曲线的实验数据处理得到这种新型偶氮分散红聚合物薄膜材料的非线性折射率为 :- 5 .5× 10 -6cm2 /W ,其值比常见无机非线性光学材料大 8~ 9个数量级 ,是一种很有应用前景的新型光学存储材料。最后 ,对这种偶氮聚合物薄膜具有大的非线性折射率的物理机制进行了分析。初步认为 :在线偏振光照射下 ,偶氮分子变为各向异性。这些类似液晶相的分子很好地关联在一起 ,分子的取向对外界扰动的响应是一种集体的效果 ,所以他们具有很大的非线性响应。  相似文献

 针对1 064, 532 和 680 nm波长激光, 以聚碳酸酯 (PC) 为镀膜基底, 钕玻璃激光中心波长为1 064 nm, 采用六分之一加三分之一膜系的反射膜系设计,以氧化锆为高折射率膜层材料,氯化酞菁铝掺杂的氧化硅为低折射率膜层材料,通过溶胶-凝胶法镀21层膜,并在多层反射膜与PC基底之间插入张力匹配层,实现了钕玻璃激光器1 064 nm主频和532 nm二倍频波长激光的反射,以及680 nm波长红宝石激光的同时吸收,1 064,532和680 nm波长处的透射率分别为1.67%,18.24%和2.4%。  相似文献

The nonlinear optical absorption, refraction and optical limiting behaviour of an organic dye, neutral red, were investigated under excitation with nanosecond laser pulses at 532 nm. The nonlinear optical responses of the material were studied both in solution and solid film, made in methanol and polyvinyl alcohol, respectively, using single-beam Z-scan technique. The open aperture Z-scans of the solution samples displayed a switch over from saturable absorption to enhanced absorption with increase in input intensity. Theoretical fit to the experimental data indicated that the dominant mechanism of nonlinear absorption is two-photon absorption. The closed aperture Z-scans of both the samples denoted positive nonlinearity, which was three orders larger in magnitude in solid film, compared with that in solution. The results of optical limiting experiments revealed that neutral red exhibited strong optical limiting of nanosecond laser pulses with a threshold lower than that of C60 in toluene.  相似文献

A novel dmit organometallic complex: [(C2H5)4N]2[Cu(dmit)2] (dmit2-=1,3-dithiole-2-thione-4,5-dithiolate), abbreviated as EtCu, was synthesized. Afterwards its optical nonlinearities in acetone solution at 532 nm and 1064 nm were studied by the Z-scan technique with laser pulses of picosecond duration. The two-photon absorption at 1064 nm and the saturable absorption at 532 nm were observed. The Z-scan curves also revealed that EtCu sample solutions exhibited self-defocusing effects at both wavelengths. The origins were analyzed for the differences between the results. Optical nonlinearity of dye solutions are studied with considerable interest for their wide spread applications ranging from gain media in lasers to all-optical processing signal devices. The third-order nonlinear optical properties of Brilliant Crocein dye was measured by the Z-scan technique and measurements were carried out for different concentrations. The negative sign of the nonlinear refractive index n2 indicates that this material exhibits self-defocusing optical nonlinearity and purely saturation absorption at the wavelength 532 nm of the diode-pumped Nd:YAG. These results show that Brilliant Crocein has potential applications in nonlinear optics.  相似文献

We investigated the third-order nonlinear optical properties of a newly synthesized soluble copolymer containing oxadiazole and thiophene units using Z-scan and Degenerate Four Wave Mixing (DFWM) techniques. The measurements were performed at 532 nm with 7 ns pulses from a Nd:YAG laser. We found a good agreement between the values of χ(3) determined from both experiments. Z-scan results indicate a negative nonlinear refractive index, n2, whose magnitude is of the order of 10−10 esu. The copolymer exhibits strong nonlinear absorption and good optical limiting properties at 532 nm, and hence may be a potential material for optical limiting applications.  相似文献

An organometallic complex, [(C4H9)4N]2[Cu(C3S5)2], abbreviated as BuCu, was synthesized. Then the BuCu-doped polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) thin film with a doping concentration 1% by weight (1 wt.%) was fabricated using a spin-coating method and its third-order nonlinear optical properties were characterized using the Z-scan technique with 20 ps pulse duration at 532 and 1064 nm, respectively. The Z-scan curves have revealed that the material exhibits a self-defocusing effect at both wavelengths. Saturable absorption at 532 nm and two-photon absorption at 1064 nm were also found, respectively. Additionally, the calculated results of the material in film were compared with that of acetone solution, which indicated that the values in film were larger than that of acetone solution for about two orders in magnitude. The origins were analyzed of the difference between the two wavelengths. Our results suggest that considerable nonlinear optical properties were confirmed in BuCu-doped PMMA film. The material can easily be doped into PMMA film and forms a waveguide mode. So this material should be considered to be manufactured into devices and applied in all-optical switching, laser locking-mode, optical limiting fields etc.  相似文献

We report on the low power CW laser induced nonlinear optical responses of Saffron (stigmata of Crocus Savitus L.) ethanol and methanol extracts. The optical nonlinearities were investigated by performing Z-scan measurements at 470 and 535 nm wavelengths. At both wavelengths the material has a strong nonlinear refraction, mainly of thermal origin. However, only at 470 nm wavelength the material exhibit pronounced saturable nonlinear absorption. Long-term (70 days) stability measurements indicated that the nonlinearities in the Saffron extracts are due to their nonvolatile components. This study shows that there is great potential for Saffron extracts to be used in nonlinear photonic applications.  相似文献

Photophysical property and third-order optical nonlinearity of an azobenzene substituted zinc phthalocyanine (azo-ZnPc) in chloroform solution were studied by UV–Vis spectra method and a picosecond Z-scan technique at 532 nm with pulse duration of 25 ps, respectively. It was found that the azo-ZnPc shows large positive nonlinear refraction and positive nonlinear absorption, exhibiting the defocusing effect and reverse saturable absorption, respectively. The molecular second hyperpolarizability of the azo-ZnPc dyad was measured to be 3.9 × 10−30 esu. All the results suggest that the studied azo-ZnPc dyad may have potential applications in the field of nonlinear optics.  相似文献

We realized and investigated films of zinc-phtalocyanines into poly(methylmethacrylate) (PMMA) for optical limiting applications. The ratio by weight of the compound to the host polymer was 0.083% and 0.15%. Linear optical characterization of films, performed by spectrophotometry, show a low degree of molecular aggregation of zinc-phtalocyanines in the polymeric matrix.Two different type of nonlinear optical investigation were performed separately on the obtained films. Measurements of nonlinear transmission were carried out using a ns Nd:Yag laser followed by OPO (532 nm) and a nonlinear response was observed. From the experimental data, the nonlinear absorption coefficient β was retrieved and found to be 29 and 43 cm/GW, respectively. The measurements of β was also performed via the z-scan technique on the same films, using 100 fs pulses at 800 nm. At this wavelength, the nonlinear absorption coefficient was evaluated to be 0.40 and 0.23 cm/GW.  相似文献

Optical nonlinearities of Au nanoparticles embedded in zinc oxide (ZnO) matrix have been investigated by the Z-scan method at the wavelength of 532 nm using nanosecond Nd3+:YAG laser radiation. The nonlinear refractive index has been measured and the real part of the third-order nonlinear susceptibility is deduced. The results of the investigation of nonlinear refraction using the off-axis Z-scan configuration are presented and the mechanisms responsible for the nonlinear response are discussed. The nonlinear refraction is found to be negative (self-defocusing) in the vicinity of the surface plasmon resonance. Moreover, its strength is shown to be larger for materials having higher gold concentration. Finally, the prevailing influence of the electronic Kerr effect over the possible thermo-optical contribution is demonstrated.  相似文献

Using Z-scan method with picosecond laser at 532 nm, the third order optical nonlinearities of ZnFe2O4 were investigated. The nonlinear refractive index is positive for all ZnFe2O4 samples and decrease with the nanocrystal size. The nonlinear absorption dominated by saturable absorption for 19 nm and 11 nm ZnFe2O4 but by two photon absorption for 5 nm ZnFe2O4 organosol. Origin of the optical nonlinearities and the size effect has been discussed.  相似文献
