本文提出一种统一的阈上电离理论。根据该理论,可以定量描述较真实的原子阈上电离过程并能清楚地阐明实验观测的阈上电离现象。该现象可理解为前后相继的两个过程:(1)先从无场的初态吸收N个光子而到场缀末态的量子跃迁过程。(2)欲定量描述实验测量,还需考虑光电子逃离光场时与光场相互作用的“后作用效应”。该“后作用效应”是由非均匀激光场所形成的无质动力所引起的经典物理过程。 关键词:  相似文献

Photoelectron angular distributions(PADs) from two-photon ionization of atoms in linearly polarized strong laser fields are obtained in accordance with the nonperturbative quantum scattering theory.We also study the influence of laser wavelength on PADs.For two-photon ionization very close to the ionization threshold,most of the ionized electrons are vertically ejected to the laser polarization.PADs from twophoton ionization of atoms are determined by the second order generalized phased Bessel function at which the ponderomotive parameter plays a key role.In terms of dependence of PADs on laser wavelength,corresponding variations for the ponderomotive parameter are demonstrated.  相似文献

We develop a semiclassical model to describe the non-sequential double ionization of aligned diatomic molecules in an intense linearly polarized field. It is found that in the tunnelling regime, the oriented molecule shows geometric effects on double ionization process when aligned parallel and perpendicular to the external field. Our results are qualitatively consistent with the recent experimental observations.  相似文献

We derive a general ionization rate formula for the system of diatomic molecules in the velocity gauge. A more concise expression of the photoionization rate in the tunnel region is obtained for the first time. Comparisons are made among the different versions of strong-field approximation. The numerical study shows that the ionization rate in the velocity gauge is underestimated by a few orders compared with that in the length gauge. Our simple formula of ionization rate may provide an insight into the ionization mechanism for the system of diatomic molecules.  相似文献

利用广义伪谱方法精确数值求解了氢原子在强激光场中的三维含时薛定谔方程,获得了强激光中氢原子的含时波函数,利用时间依赖的偶极矩的傅里叶变换得到了高次谐波谱,研究了氢原子在强激光场中发射低于电离阈值的谐波谱对激光强度的依赖性.研究发现,激光强度在低于电离阈值的谐波产生的通道选择的过程中扮演着重要角色,主要有两种量子通道对阈下谐波的产生有贡献,即广义的短轨道和长轨道,其中长轨道对激光场强度比较敏感.结合小波时频变换、经典轨道分析、以及强度依赖的量子通道选择分析,本文阐明了其背后的物理机制.  相似文献

通过利用短时指数传播子的对称分割和快速傅里叶变换,数值求解一维含时薛定谔方程,研究了一维多原子分子离子在超强脉冲强激光场中的增强电离(EI)行为,给出了激光强度和频率对增强电离的影响.计算表明随着激光频率的增加,增强电离的临界键长变小,电离概率 也减小;随着激光强度的增加,电离概率增加,当强度增加到一定值时,就不再出现增强电离现象. 关键词: 强激光场 分子离子 增强电离  相似文献

Response of the wave packet of a one-dimensional Coulomb atom to an intense laser field is calculated using the symmetrized split operator fast Fourier method. The high-order harmonic generation (HHG) of the initial state separately being the ground and excited states is presented. When the hardness parameter \alpha in the soft Coulomb potential V(x)=-1/\sqrt{x^2+\alpha} is chosen to be small enough, the so-called hard Coulomb potential V(x)=-1/|x| can be obtained. It is well known that the hard one-dimensional Coulomb atom has an unstable ground state with an energy eigenvalue of $\sim0.5$ and it has no states corresponding to physical states in the true atoms, and has the first and second excited states being degenerate. The parity effects on the HHG can be seen from the first and second excited states of the hard one-dimensional Coulomb atom. The HHG spectra of the excited states from both the soft and hard Coulomb atom models are shown to have more complex structures and to be much stronger than the corresponding HHG spectrum of the ground state of the soft Coulomb model with $\alpha=2$ in the same laser field. Laser-induced non-resonant one-photon emission is also observed.  相似文献

The angular distributions of CO^+ from the dissociation of CO2^2+ and CO2^+ in intense femtosecond laser fields (45 fs, about 5 × 10^15 W/cm^2) are studied at a laser wavelength of 800nm based on the time-of-flight mass spectra of CO^+ fragment ions. The experimental results show that structural deformation occurs in the charge state of CO2^2+ and the CO^+ maintains linear geometrical structure.  相似文献

We investigate high-order harmonic generation (HHG) in a linearly polarized bichromatic field composed of a fundamental laser field with frequency w and an additional laser field with frequency 3w. The numerical results show that it is possible to enhance the intensity of most high harmonics in orders of magnitude. A most striking feature in the enhancement is that the intensity of several special high harmonics is practically impaired as compared with that in the monochromatic case. The qualitative explanation to the great enhancement is that the additional high-frequency field can provide new transition paths for electrons to reach the continuum. The relative phase between the fundamental field and its third harmonic field also affects the intensity of high-order harmonics near the cutoff efficiently.  相似文献

On the platform of the 3D H2^+ system, we perform a numerical simulation of its photoionization rate under excitation of weak to intense laser intensities with varying pulse durations and wavelengths. A novel method is proposed for calculating the photoionization rate: a double exponential decay of ionization probability is best suited for fitting this rate. Confirmation of the well-documented charge-resonance-enhanced ionization (CREI) effect at medium laser intensity and finding of ionization saturation at high light intensity corroborate the robustness of the suggested double-exponential decay process. Surveying the spatial and temporal variations of electron wavefunctions uncovers a mechanism for the double-exponentially decayed photoionization probability as onset of electron ionization along extra degree of freedom. Henceforth, the new method makes clear the origins of peak features in photoionization rate versus internuclear separation. It is believed that this multi-exponentially decayed ionization mechanism is applicable to systems with more degrees of motion.  相似文献

We present harmonic spectra from hydrogen molecular ions with different ionization energy Ip. By comparing the recombination matrix element from helium ions and hydrogen molecular ions, we verify that the interference effect in high-order harmonic generation originates from the recombination interference. A numerical study on recombination matrix elements in 1D shows that w = Ek + Ip holds only when an exact continuum wavefunction is used, and the positions of extrema in harmonic spectra can be predicted accurately. We demonstrate that the positions of extrema in harmonic spectra are mainly affected by bounding potential dependence of the recombination interference.  相似文献

The above-threshold dissociation (ATD) of the HD+ molecular ion in femtosecond laser field is investigated theoretically. The energy-dependent distribution of the dissociated fragments is calculated using an asymptoticflow expression in the momentum space. The calculations show that the ATD of HD+ is sensitive to the initial vibrational level of ground electronic state. Multiphoton ATDs can be observed in the dissociation processes. The dynamics phenomena are interpreted by using the concept of light-dressed potential.  相似文献

Quantitative investigations are made for the laser-duration dependence of the emission properties of high-order harmonic generation (HHG). HHG emission properties produced by few-cycle lasers show some useful characteristics. The cutoff energy is less than that by laser for infinite duration. The single energy distribution pulse decreases much faster than its duration as the laser duration grows. A two-cycle laser with carrier-envelope phase of 0° can produce a single distribution pulse peaked at the laser carrier phase 1.22 rad and spanned 1.18 rad with the cutoff energy 2.9Up + Ip and a bandwidth 0.63Up, where Up is the ponderomotive potential of the laser field and Ip is the atomic ionization potential.  相似文献

The carrler-envelope-phase (CEP) dependence of the emission properties of high-order harmonic generation (HHG) are quantitatively investigated. Calculation shows that a two-cycle laser with CEP of 15° can produce a single energy distribution pulse peaked at 0.94 radian (tad) and spanned 1.29 tad with the cutoff energy 2.9Up + Ip and a bandwidth 0.86Up (where Up is the ponderomotive potential of the laser field and Ip is the atomic ionization potential). The CEP dependence of the energy and temporal localizations of the single distribution pulse show interesting 180° periodic structures. These characteristics may be useful in optimizing attosecond x-ray sources and measurements.  相似文献

We investigate the high-order harmonic generation from an atom prepared in a superposition of ground state and highly excited state. When the atom is irradiated by an ultrashort pulse, the cutoff position of the plateau in the harmonic spectrum is largely extended compared with the case that the atom is initially in the ground state. The physics of the extension of the high-order harmonic plateau can be interpreted by the spatial structure of the atomic initial wave packet. We can optimize the generation of high-order harmonics by substituting the excited state for a particular coherent superposition of some highly excited states to form a spatially localized excited wave packet.  相似文献

We investigate the high-order harmonic generation (HHG) of a model atom whose initial state is prepared in a superposition of its ground state and an excited state irradiated by different duration laser pulses. Compared to the HHG generated from an atom whose initial state is in its ground state, its conversion efficiency obtains some enhancement. The enhancement originates from the higher ionization rate (rather than the ionization yield) of the atom with superposition initial state.  相似文献
