粗糙接触界面超声非线性效应的概率模型   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
提出描述粗糙接触界面超声非线性效应的概率模型,利用分段均匀概率函数描述粗糙接触界面劲度系数变化,结合表面粗糙峰的几何分布特征,得到界面粗糙度和两侧表面相对运动对声波的非线性调制作用。实验观测了铝合金材料的粗糙接触界面的高次谐波现象和阈值现象,进一步分析了归一化非线性参数与界面加载压力、粗糙度之间的关系。实验测量结果与概率模型的理论预测一致,证明了该模型的正确性,为利用超声非线性效应评价粗糙接触界面提供了理论依据。   相似文献

提出了一种基于有限宽超声束反射的固-固界面退化特性评价方法,从理论和数值仿真角度进行了分析和计算。将两固体界面间的薄层简化为界面弹簧模型,以界面法向和切向劲度系数表征界面的退化程度。通过数值计算求得有限宽超声纵波束在不同入射角和界面不同退化程度下的反射横波、反射纵波的镜面反射系数。进一步地,通过建立二维有限元模型,仿真研究了有限宽超声纵波束在给定入射角及界面不同退化程度下镜面反射系数的变化规律。结果表明,反射纵波和反射横波的镜面反射系数随有限宽超声纵波束的入射角及界面劲度系数的改变而变化,且存在镜面反射系数随界面劲度系数单调且敏感变化的入射角,据此可准确评价界面的退化程度。  相似文献

Based on the Boit theory of acoustic wave propagation in fluid-satu-rated porous medium we have studied in this paper the acoustic reflection andtransmission on multilayered porous media,in which the adequate boundaryconditions across the interfaces are taken into account.Numerical calculationsof the reflection and transmission coefficients at different incident angles andfrequencies of the fast compressional wave incident on porous media with threeor four layers are presented.The results indicate that the maximum or mini-mum reflection and transmission coefficients appear at certain ratios of thewavelength to the thickness.The acoustic incident angle and porous mediumproperties are shown to affect significantly these coefficients.As an example,the measured transmission coefficients in a water-saturated fused glass beadsample are in good agreement with theoretical prediction.  相似文献

This paper describes ultrasonic measurements of normal and tangential stiffnesses of the contacting interface between polished aluminum blocks subjected to nominal contact pressures up to about 3.8 MPa. These stiffnesses were evaluated by ultrasonic spectroscopy methods for the bulk (longitudinal and transverse) wave reflection coefficients and the anti-symmetric mode interface wave velocity. The measurements revealed the interfacial stiffnesses as functions of the frequency as well as the applied contact pressure. The ratio of the tangential and normal stiffnesses is discussed in the light of foregoing theoretical and experimental findings. Furthermore, possible explanations for the frequency dependence of the measured stiffnesses are reviewed, invoking the spatial inhomogeneity of the interfacial stiffness as well as its lossy nature.  相似文献

A theoretical investigation of the nonlinear interaction between an acoustic plane wave and an interface formed by two rough, nonconforming surfaces in partial contact is presented. The macroscopic elastic properties of such a nonlinear interface are derived from micromechanical models accounting for the elastic interaction that is characteristic of spherical bodies in contact. These results are used to formulate set of boundary conditions for the acoustic field, which are to be enforced at the imperfect interface. The scattering problem is solved for plane wave incidence by using a simple perturbation approach and the harmonic balance method. Sample results are presented for arbitrary wave polarization and angle of incidence. The relative magnitude of the nonlinear signals and their potential use toward the nondestructive evaluation of imperfect interfaces are assessed. In particular, attention is drawn to the enhanced nonlinear response of an interface insonified by a shear vertical wave in the neighborhood of the longitudinal critical angle. The motivation for this investigation is provided by the need to develop nondestructive methods to detect and localize small, partially closed cracks in metals with coarse microstructures.  相似文献

Analytical expressions defining the reflection coefficients have been derived in the framework of the known problem of elastic wave reflection from the free surface and rigid interface. The found reflection coefficients are used to analyze the dependences of different strain and rotation components during elastic wave reflection from the free surface and rigid interface in the case of ideal contact and possible slip on the wave incidence angle and elastic parameters of the medium. Deformation features of elastic media at the studied interfaces are considered for incident longitudinal and transverse waves.  相似文献

简要描述了模拟两固体间界面特性的弹簧模型,该模型最早是根据静力学方法提出的,后来用固体间界面薄层的声波反射方法加以改进,从界面弹簧模型可以方便地得到界面外近似边界条件,其中包含界面“弹簧”振子的劲度常数和质量,文章还给出了两相间固体中界面声反射系数的表达式,介绍了测量界面劲度常数的超声反射谱方法。最后讨论了仍关声波与界面相互作用研究领域中最近的一些研究进展。  相似文献

采用传递矩阵法,同步联立改进的Biot理论,对含液固界面的双相多孔锂离子电池的超声反射与透射系数进行理论求解。考虑锂离子的摇摆特性对电极力学性能的影响,计算了对应状态下液/固界面的双相多孔锂离子电池声反射及透射系数的角度谱与频率谱。同时,构建了不同荷电状态时含单元锂离子电池的频域仿真模型,以萃取对应的超声反射及透射角度谱及频率谱,并与理论计算结果对比吻合良好。随后,以多单元锂离子电池为例,在不同的荷电状态下,分析了反射与透射系数随斜入射角度、入射波频率的变化关系,并分别指出了其角度谱及频率谱特征点随荷电状态的变化特征,为锂离子电池运行状态的超声无损测量提供了理论基础。  相似文献

An improved numerical model for calculating the ultrasonic power deposition in layered medium was developed and experimentally tested. The new model takes into account the ultrasound wave reflection and refraction at the tissue interfaces thereby providing improved accuracy in ultrasound hyperthermia treatment planning. The model was compared with a simplified model to evaluate when the tissue interfaces could be ignored in the hyperthermia treatment planning and evaluation. The effect of variations in water and tissue temperatures, the fat layer thicknesses, and the beam entrance angle were also investigated to establish guidelines for treatment execution. It was found that in most cases the effects of the soft tissue interfaces can be ignored. However, in some instances the acoustic focus may be shifted several millimeters off axis in layered medium. This is important when sharply focused transducers are used for ultrasound surgery or under the condition of pulsed, high-temperature hyperthermia treatments.  相似文献

A theoretical model describing the nonlinear scattering of acoustic waves by surface-breaking cracks with faces in partial contact is presented. The nonlinear properties of the crack are accounted for by suitable boundary conditions that are derived from micromechanical models of the dynamics of elastic rough surfaces in contact. Both linear and nonlinear responses of the crack are shown to be largest for a shear vertical wave incident on the surface containing the crack at an angle just above the critical angle for longitudinal waves. These findings question the fitness for the purpose of a conventional inspection method, which utilizes shear vertical waves at 45 degrees of incidence to search for surface-breaking cracks in many engineering components. For angles of incidence proximal to the critical angle of longitudinal waves, the efficiency of the second harmonic's generation appears to be the highest. Thanks to the increased sensitivity to surface-breaking cracks, this configuration seems to offer a solution to the localization problem, a task that has eluded nonlinear techniques operating under other circumstances. Finally, this model suggests a simple interpretation of the highly localized nonlinear response of delaminations in composite materials.  相似文献

A nonlinear ultrasonic technique for evaluating material elastic nonlinearity has been developed. It measures the phase modulation of a high frequency (82MHz) surface acoustic wave interacting with a low frequency (1MHz) high amplitude stress inducing surface acoustic wave. A new breed of optical transducers has been developed and used for the generation and detection of the high frequency wave. The CHeap Optical Transducer (CHOT) is an ultrasonic transducer system, optically activated and read by a laser. We show that CHOTs offer advantages over alternative transducers. CHOTs and nonlinear ultrasonics have great potential for aerospace applications. Results measuring changes in ultrasonic velocity corresponding to different stress states of the sample are presented on fused silica and aluminium.  相似文献

Abstract

Reflection and scattering of waves from plane and statistically rough interfaces between nonlinear media are studied theoretically. New hysteresis-type dependences of the reflection and transmission coefficients on the amplitude of the incident wave and on the angle of incidence are predicted. Scattering diagrams for diffusely reflected and transmitted fields are calculated. It is found that when the dielectric constant is a steep function of the incident amplitude, nonlinearity suppresses the Bragg resonant scattering mechanism. Smooth roughness of the boundary is shown to enhance the penetration of evanescent waves into nonlinear media.  相似文献

When the face of a finite solid elastic cylinder is ensonified by an acoustic wave, a variety of backscattering contributions associated with acoustic wave coupling into elastic waves are observed. A significant backscattering enhancement is observed for tilts such that the acoustic wave is incident on the face of the cylinder in the vicinity of the coupling angle for launching Rayleigh waves across the face. The observed backscattering indicates that the Rayleigh waves are reflected at the edge of the face and subsequently radiate acoustic waves in the backscattering direction. The measured backscattering is compared to an approximate theoretical prediction. Approximating the focusing of the Rayleigh wave after reflection at the (circular) edge by a Gaussian beam pressure distribution on the cylinder's face yields simple expressions for the amplitude which are consistent with the measurements. In the vicinity of end-on incidence, other backscattering contributions due to the reflection of waves traveling down the length of the cylinder are observed. There is also evidence of a face-traversing longitudinal wave for slightly tilted cylinders.  相似文献

The phase velocity of the antisymmetric-mode interface wave as well as the longitudinal and shear wave reflection coefficients have been measured for contacting poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) surfaces subjected to different contact pressures. It has been found that while the reflection coefficients decrease as the contact pressure is increased, the phase velocity of the interface wave increases from that of the Rayleigh wave toward that of the bulk shear wave. From these measurements, the normal and tangential interfacial stiffnesses of the contacting PMMA surfaces have been evaluated as functions of the contact pressure. As a result, the two independent procedures to evaluate the tangential stiffness, namely, from the interface wave velocity and from the shear wave reflection measurements, have yielded mutually consistent results. Furthermore, it has been found that the tangential/normal stiffness ratio and the shear/longitudinal reflection ratio of the contact interface are consistent with the predictions of an existing theoretical model for kissing bond interfaces.  相似文献

A new class of nonlinear acoustic phenomena has been observed for acoustic wave interaction with simulated and realistic nonbonded contact interfaces (cracked defects) in solids. "Nonclassical" effects are due to substantially asymmetric stiffness characteristics of the interface for normal stress that results in specific contact acoustic nonlinearity (CAN). The asymmetry in the contact restoring forces causes the stiffness parametric modulation and instability of oscillations, which results in acoustic wave fractional subharmonic generation. The CAN subharmonics and higher harmonics reveal threshold dynamic behaviour, evident hysteresis, and instability effects.  相似文献

利用传递矩阵法, 从理论上建立了全向入射条件下一维固-流周期结构中的声传播模型, 在此基础上计算、分析并比较了无限周期结构的声能带结构和有限周期结构中的声传输特性. 研究结果表明, 当声波以一定的入射角入射时, 固-流周期结构的低频通带区域存在一个声裂隙, 该声裂隙所对应的入射角大小与构成周期结构的固体层和流体层的密度或结构尺寸无关, 而仅取决于构成该周期性结构材料的波速. 关键词: 传递矩阵 全向入射 固-流周期结构 声裂隙  相似文献

This paper concerns a study of the detectability of dry contact kissing bonds in adhesive joints using three ultrasonic inspection techniques. Conventional normal incidence longitudinal and shear wave inspection were conducted on dry contact kissing bonds using a standard damped ultrasonic transducer and an electro-magnetic acoustic transducer (EMAT) respectively. The detectability of the dry contact kissing bonds was assessed by calculating the reflection coefficient of the imperfect interface at varying loads for a number of surface roughnesses. A high power ultrasonic method was also employed to determine the non-linear behavior of the adhesive interface. The non-linearity of the interface was determined by the ratio of the amplitudes of the first harmonic and fundamental frequencies of the transmitted waveform. It was found that the high power technique showed the greatest sensitivity to these kissing bonds at low contact pressures, however at high loads conventional longitudinal wave testing was more sensitive. It was also noted that a combination of two or more techniques could provide enhanced information about the kissing bond compared to a single technique alone.  相似文献

采用超声水浸聚焦斜入射方式进行小棒材表面、近表缺陷检测时,声波在水/棒和棒/缺陷界面会发生反射、折射、散射、衍射及波形转换等一系列物理变换。此时缺陷可检性对声波入射条件十分敏感,常出现由于检测条件设置不当而导致缺陷漏检、误检的情况。为解决这一问题,本文针对小棒材超声斜入射检测中的主要参数——入射角和水距,开展声场及缺陷声响应仿真,研究检测参数对不同部位缺陷检测能力的影响,并对仿真结果进行试验验证。通过研究得到了检测水距、入射角度对缺陷检测能力的影响,并得到最优检测条件。试验验证结果表明研究制定的检测方案可有效检测出表面、近表面裂纹缺陷。  相似文献

针对一维非线性声波的传播问题进行了有限元仿真和实验研究. 首先推导了一维非线性声波方程的有限元形式, 含有高阶矩阵的非线性项导致声波具有波形畸变、谐波滋生、基频信号能量向高次谐波传递等非线性特性. 编制有限元程序对一维非线性声波进行了计算并对仿真得到的畸变非线性声波信号进行处理, 分析其传播性质和物理意义. 为验证有限元计算结果, 开展了水中的非线性声波传播的实验研究, 得到了不同输入信号幅度激励下和不同传播距离的畸变非线性声波信号. 然后对基波和二次谐波的传播性质进行详细讨论, 分析了二次谐波幅度与传播距离和输入信号幅度的变化关系及其意义, 拟合出二次谐波幅度随传播距离变化的方程并阐述了拟合方程的物理意义. 结果表明, 数值仿真信号及其频谱均与实验结果有较好的一致性, 证实计算方法和结果的正确性, 并提出了具有一定物理意义的二次谐波随传播距离变化的简单数学关系. 最后还对固体中的非线性声波传播性质进行了初步探讨. 本研究工作可为流体介质中的非线性声传播问题提供理论和实验依据.  相似文献
