A generalized variable-coefficient algebraic method is applied to construct several new families of exact solutions of physical interestfor (3 1)-dimensional Kadomtsev-Petviashvilli (KP) equation. Among them, the Jacobi elliptic periodic solutions exactly degenerate to the soliton solutions at a certain limit condition. Compared with the existing tanh method, the extended tanh method, the Jacobi elliptic function method, and the algebraic method, the proposed method gives new and more general solutions.  相似文献

In this Letter, a variable-coefficient extended mapping method is proposed to seek new and more general exact solutions of nonlinear evolution equations. Being concise and straightforward, this method is applied to the mKdV equation with variable coefficients and (2+1)-dimensional Nizhnik-Novikov-Veselov equations. As a result, many new and more general exact solutions are obtained including Jacobi elliptic function solutions, hyperbolic function solutions and trigonometric function solutions. It is shown that the proposed method provides a very effective and powerful mathematical tool for solving a great many nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics.  相似文献

A general mapping deformation method is presented and applied to a (2+1)-dimensional Boussinesq system. Many new types of explicit and exact travelling wave solutions, which contain solitary wave solutions, periodic wave solutions, Jacobian and Weierstrass doubly periodic wave solutions, and other exact excitations like polynomial solutions, exponential solutions, and rational solutions, etc., are obtained by a simple algebraic transformation relation between the (2+1)-dimensional Boussinesq equation and a generalized cubic nonlinear Klein-Gordon equation.  相似文献

In this paper, by means of the variable-coefficient mapping method based on elliptical equation, we obtain explicit solutions of nonlinear Schrodinger equation with variable-coefficient. These solutions include Jacobian elliptic function solutions, solitary wave solutions, soliton-like solutions, and trigonometric function solutions, among which some are found for the first time. Six figures are given to illustrate some features of these solutions. The method can be applied to other nonlinear evolution equations in mathematical physics.  相似文献

Some new exact solutions of an auxiliary ordinary differential equation are obtained, which were neglected by Sirendaoreji et al in their auxiliary equation method. By using this method and these new solutions the combined Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) and modified KdV (mKdV) equation and (2+1)-dimensional Broer-Kaup-Kupershmidt system are investigated and abundant exact travelling wave solutions are obtained that include new solitary wave solutions and triangular periodic wave solutions.  相似文献

The bilinear form for a nonisospectral and variable-coefficient Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation is obtained and some exact soliton solutions are derived by the Hirota method and Wronskian technique. We also derive the bilinear Backlund transformation from its Lax pairs and find solutions with the help of the obtained bilinear Bgcklund transformation.  相似文献

Many practical models in interdisciplinary fields can be described with the help of fractional-order nonlinear partial differential equations(NPDEs). Fractional-order NPDEs such as the space-time fractional Fokas equation, the space-time Kaup–Kupershmidt equation and the space-time fractional (2+1)-dimensional breaking soliton equation have been widely applied in many branches of science and engineering. So, finding exact traveling wave solutions are very helpful in the theories and numerical studies of such equations. More precisely, fractional sub-equation method together with the proposed technique is implemented to obtain exact traveling wave solutions of such physical models involving Jumarie’s modified Riemann–Liouville derivative. As a result, some new exact traveling wave solutions for them are successfully established. Also, (1+1)-dimensional plots and 1-dimensional plots of some of the derived solutions are given to visualize the dynamics of the considered NPDEs. The obtained results reveal that the proposed technique is quite effective and convenient for obtaining exact solutions of NPDEs with fractional-order.  相似文献

This paper presents a new and efficient approach for constructing exact solutions to nonlinear differential-difference equations (NLDDEs) and lattice equation. By using this method via symbolic computation system MAPLE, we obtained abundant soliton-like and/or period-form solutions to the (2+1)-dimensional Toda equation. It seems that solitary wave solutions are merely special cases in one family. Furthermore, the method can also be applied to other nonlinear differential-difference equations.  相似文献

We concentrate on finding exact solutions for a generalized variable-coefficient Korteweg-de Vries equation of physically significance. The analytic N-soliton solution in Wronskian form for such a model is postulated and verified by direct substituting the solution into the bilinear form by virtue of the Wronskian technique. Additionally, the bilinear auto-Backlund transformation between the ( N - 1)- and N-soliton solutions is verified.  相似文献
